Professional and timely

It was great working with them! The tent was beautiful and everything was exactly as advertised. The trailer rest room was very clean and decorated well and had extra supplies. I highly recommend them!

Support Amazing Local Vendors, Like JMC!

Jim and his wonderful wife were so accommodating, very easy to work with, kind, and genuinely worked hard to make our day even more special. The tent was spacious and affordable, giving just what we needed for our guests. Contact JMC for all of your event needs, especially if you're in the New Kent area. You certainly won't be disappointed!

Best Vendor!

We were so lucky to have found JMC Event Rentals on weddingwire.com! They were so helpful and personable and truly wanted our wedding to be a success. They drove almost 3 hours each way to deliver our tent to Lexington VA. Now that is service! They are a family run business and treat you as they would their own family. They were a joy to deal with and would recommend them highly. You will not regret this decision!

Above and Beyond

Jim is amazing! We had issues with our rental company double-booking, and I was only notified three days before my wedding. Jim went out of his way to accommodate us and saved my special day with the most beautiful tent setup.

He was so friendly, and my husband and I were beyond blessed to find someone who treated us as people and not just an opportunity to profit. He was able to make my wedding exactly what I had envisioned, and the cost was beyond fair. We had a fantastic experience with this GREAT local veteran-owned business, and will be using Jim from now on with any future needs we have for event setup.

Thank you, Jim, for going above and beyond what I ever could have expected, and leaving me with perfect memories of my wedding day. ❤️

Saved the day!

This company saved the day! We were less than 24 hours before the wedding when we went to set up decoration and found brown rusted old bent up chairs set out....with no owner to be found and a terribly upset bride we were at a loss....we quickly went of a mission to find an event rental place that could help...long shot I know....after a quick Google search I found JMC Event Rentals gave them a call and left a message at 7:50 Saturday am...8 hours before the wedding!! Being totally impatient I call back at 8:05...the owner Jim answers and said he had heard my message and would try to help but he had a event that day already....completely understanding I told him we would take anything he could find. Within the next hour he calls and said he had found us 100 white chairs and him and his son wpuld bring them...set them up and pick them up afterwards! This man and his family were angels that day....every bride deserves to have her day the way she invisioned it and this company cared about that, they went above and beyond. By 2 that day we had beautiful white chairs and a very relieved bride. They were not only quick to respond but the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this company!

I highly recommend JMC Rentals

My son’s wedding plans changed due to Covid. We had little time to come up with a backup plan. When I contacted JMC Rentals, they immediately shared what they could offer. I found they were very professional and easy to do business with. They arrived on time, and set up the tent and lighting. They were helpful and courtesy. When the removed the tent, the area was back to normal with no damage.

The chairs, table and linens were all clean and in great shape. The tent came with optional walls to allow for privacy and air flow. The lighting set a great atmosphere as the sun set and the party continued.

I highly recommend JMC Event Rentals and will use them again if I ever need a tent.
