    Amazing Service

    We hired Jennifer and her team to coordinate our wedding at The Morada in Joshua Tree. To say they did an excellent job would be an understatement. From start to finish Jennifer kept us organized. When we had a vendor bail out at the last minute she had a few new options lined up for us within a few hours. The day of our wedding everything was setup perfectly, We had a lot of DIY decor and her team exectued the setup perfectly! We were able to relax and just enjoy the day. I can not thank Jennifer and her staff enough for all of their hard work!

    Hali’a and Gabriel Wedding

    Great Team

    NDP did our Wedding of about 100 people. They were awesome! We asked a lot of them and they did more than we asked. For example, we were just going to use a table as the bar at cocktail hour, but they voluntarily moved the one from reception to make it look nicer. When decorations didn’t fit in the assigned cars at the end of the night, one of their staff drove it to the house himself. They were attentive, patient, professional and kind through the day and made it a joyful experience. Jennifer and her team were great. I would recommend them!

    Night and Day productions was key to our wedding day being perfect. We had a small backyard wedding and a family friend chef catering so we knew we were going to need help. N&D provided several servers for us. They did everything from cake cutting to table service to buffet management to clean up. All the servers were so sweet and helpful. I have to highlight Christine and her sister (I didn't get her name, sorry) but they were there until the bitter end to clean up. They did a perfect job. Everything was spotless. I don't think my day would have been as perfect without N&D productions.

    We could not imagine our wedding happening smoothly without the help of Night and Day! We had a backyard wedding with about 50 people, and we knew that despite our small budget we needed lots of help the day of. Enter the fabulous team at Night and Day! They helped in every aspect of the wedding, from refilling drink pitchers to setting up tables to moving furniture to setting out appetizers and desserts at the right time. When the night was over the venue was spotless, allowing our families and us to relax and not worry about anything. They were always professional and helpful, and they were extremely flexible when our timeline changed mid-wedding! Thank you so much to Jennifer and Night and Day!

    With planning a rehearsal dinner at a for 50 people at a remote destination venue in Napa- we were very pleased with the services provided by the Night & Day Production Company. The service team was very valuable in not only setting up the venue with tables, chairs, decorations, but also the food table and beverage station. Then they changed clothes and became our service team and manned the beverage station, delivered the food to the buffet tables and cleaned up all along the way - and after the event was over. They were very pleasant, attentive and friendly. Our guests commented on how wonderful and helpful they were and certainly alleviated our concerns for hosting such an important event for our family and friends. They were very responsive to our requests and handled every situation professionally. Thank you Jennifer!!

    Night & Day were great! I hired them for staffing at my wedding (Bartenders and servers). Jennifer was VERY helpful with coordinating and deciding how many people we needed and she was very quick and responsive. Every server I spoke with very friendly and they did a great job. I even got complements on my bartenders!

    I took a piecemeal approach to my wedding vendors in an attempt to save money (and it worked beautifully by the way, but was definitely a lot more work). I ordered food from one place, rentals from another, a venue that didn't require specific vendors, etc. To tie everything together, I knew I needed a great wait staff. I was very surprised how difficult it was to find a wait staff company in LA and was excited when my mom came across Night and Day Productions. Jennifer responded to our initial email very quickly and was always prompt with her replies. After describing what we were looking for, she knew exactly how many waiters we needed and when they needed to be there. Her company also provided a great bar tender for the event. She sent a set-up crew to help put the final touches on all of the decorations before the event started. The wait staff prepared and served appetizers, continually bussed all the tables, plated dinner and served it, cut the cake, and helped clean up everything at the end. The whole wedding ran smoothly and it was largely because of Jennifer's superb team. I couldn't be happier with their service and I am so glad that we decided to hire Night and Day Productions.

    As a fellow wedding vendor and professional, I have to take a moment and rave about Jennifer and her amazing team at Night & Day Productions. From the first email contact, to the moment the last staff member left event, everything was organized, professional and efficient. I had referred her Staffing and Bartending services to a client for her daughter's wedding on May 3, 2014. The venue itself was a bit tricky logistics wise, but the team that arrived on the big day made everything look like a breeze! My client was very impressed with how efficient and friendly the whole team was. The team captain Britany was a true rocks tar and led the team effectively and with great professionalism. I will definitely be calling on Jennifer and her amazing team at Night & Day Productions every time I need additional staff services for clients.     Jennifer and her team with Night & Day Productions was a delight! Jennifer was a delight from the beginning and helped put together a staff that would fit my event needs. She worked with me and went back and forth with my coordinator to make sure everything was set. The event staff arrived on time and set up the bars. The wait staff was mainly needed for switching the same ceremony site into a reception and they completed the task of 22 tables in under 30 minutes. They did an excellent job and guests commented how wonderful and efficient they were. They completely broke down the venue after the wedding and made my personal clean up the next day a breeze! I would highly recommend Night & Day Productions!

    We hired a person to bus tables for our wedding, since our caterer didn't provide that service. The person arrived on time and worked hard.

    Our wedding day was tad more magical with Night and Day Productions!

    Thank you again to the entire NDP team for making our wedding day special. They were speedy with setting up for our cocktail hour and reception; and quick with the clean up. The night ran so smoothly.

    Our guests thoroughly loved your company. The staff were all professional and super friendly. Thanks for everything!

    Hiring Night & Day as our bar tenders was a last minute decision for us in hopes to make our wedding event run seamlessly. Unfortunately, the service that was provided was anything but helpful. Throughout the planning process the manager was very responsive and helpful and we assumed the bartenders would be as well. We were wrong....

    First, one bartender was 20 minutes late, the other was extremely rude and took no initiative to help set up. (The MOB was breaking up ice 20 minutes before the ceremony). This particular bartenders attitude was completely unacceptable as she rolled her eyes and had an attitude to all of the guests including the bridal party and bride and groom. We have heard that this particular bar tender no longer works for the company and we demanded to be partially refunded. We should have read more reviews before hiring this company as there are many negative reviews out there. There website and overall company seems to be professional but what we received was anything but.

    We recently used Night and Day Productions at Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley and were sorely disappointed. We used them for bartending and assistance with catering services as the food vendor does not cater. Prior to the wedding, we had gone over the requirements thoroughly with wedding coordinator and contract, but day of, all the tasks required were pointless as they did not bring the paperwork nor have any knowledge of it. Everything we had asked of them (no shots, take pictures of broken items, help unpack and pack, serve water, refill buffet, etc) were left ignored. In addition, one of the workers came drunk and was seen drinking throughout the wedding event. People also showed up late and their manager seemed to know even less, leaving the wedding coordinator having to remind and manage them. Half the staff was what appeared to constantly hide from any work and did not take any direction. The bartenders clearly had no experience and cared more about tip then specific bartending requests we had given. Very unfortunate, but thankfully guests did not notice since it was buffet style.

    So I have to say I was very disappointed with the lack of service we received and also the lack of response in response to our letter of the issues we have had with this company. Our next steps will be seeing what we can to get a response. I would skip this company knowing what I do now about their level of 'service'.

    1. There staff was giving out their numbers to not only my guests, but high school students (this is the ONLY matter they resolved in our emails)
    2. They forgot about us, the bride and groom.
    3. They didn't pass out cake (we've heard from over half our guests they didn't get cake) and we bought a cake for 200 people, but only had about 130 guests.
    4. Our list of stuff we provided was not done.
    5. They forgot the bride and groom. I have to put this one down again because we were ASSURED from Jennifer and Erin that we would NOT be forgotten. We would have a server with us at ALL times. This was a flat out lie. We got food and then anytime we TRIED to find their servers to get us anything they were no where to be found.
    6. Their bartenders were the only helpful ones when we went up.
    7. Their response in all of our inquires has been a back handed response and when we've tired to follow up it's been over THREE weeks now from THREE emails to them. We've sent to both Jennifer and Erin and both have ignored our emails.
    8. We were suppose to have food out for the bridal team when they got back from the ceremony, NOTHING was out and we had to beg them to stop and get US food. No water, no drinks, NOTHING. I feel horrible knowing that the people we asked to be in our wedding didn't even have food out. Again, we were assured and promised by Jennifer and Erin this would happen and had I, the bride, not stopped someone to even get us something to eat, it would not have happened. No one bothered to come in and get our drink order while we did our pictures. Again, stuff promised and didn't happen.

    Jennifer Miranda took our $600 deposit and gave us nothing in return. She cancelled our first meeting and immediately stopped replied to all methods of contact- emails, texts and calls. We have not heard from her since. What kind of person claims to run a “business” but actually just scams couples trying to plan an incredibly important day in their lives. It’s vile. Do yourself favor and find a trustworthy coordinator bc Jennifer is the furthest from that.

    Took our deposit and never heard back from her

    She took our deposit and never called us back. I have reached out multiple times via email and phone and have never heard back from her. I do not recommend her. She made several excuses when I first attempted to meet with her and getting in touch with her was so difficult. Her phone was broken, she was sick, busy with other weddings. How do you operate as a planner with a broken phone? Do not trust the other reviews that are posted. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PLANNER. I would not even give one star on this review but unfortunately the knot makes you. I don’t believe in posted badly about others but I’m doing it to hopefully save someone else from losing money and the stress she has caused us.

    Stay Away - Cashed our deposit and disappeared

    We paid our deposit, setup the 1st call to kick things off and she disappeared. Didn't call into the 1st kick off call, didn't respond to follow up outreach: text messages, emails, DM on social media, calls - nothing. We were at first worried something may have happened to her, but no one from her team connected or sent an email to explain. We have not been able to get a reply to get our deposit back and she's completed zero work on our wedding - it's puzzling...just take our money and run?

    Money taken. No service provided.

    The unprofessionalism and abandonment I have been subjected to with Jennifer Miranda is unacceptable and unethical putting it mildly. I paid a total of $750 for a few wait staff at my wedding. The event was cancelled and Jennifer has been completely unresponsive regarding a refund for which I have been asking for since January. I have called, left messages, sent texts and emails to no avail. My fiancé called and she answered on his first attempt, and made an excuse about the contract stating I cannot get any of my money back, which is Incorrect. She hung up with the promise of providing the documentation reflecting a non-refundable agreement and has yet to send anything. Also she will no longer answer either of our calls. I understand the deposit is not refundable, but the remaining balance should be refunded considering the fact the it was not due until the day of the wedding and I was being proactive paying the amount in full ahead of time. My error in trusting Jennifer resulted in a total loss for my fiancé and I.

    Do not use this company!! We hired four servers and one head servers to serve appetizers and dinner at my daughter’s wedding on June 30th. The servers DID NOT SHOW UP, NEVER CALLED, we called and no response, this was a disaster, this company ruined my daughter’s reception, it was an embarrassment! No one to serve appetizers, no one to serve dinner, no one to bus tables, no one to fill water glasses, no one to server cake. Wish I could give them zero. If we would have had any notice you could of modified the serving but since we were all the ceremony we did not find out until we arrived at the reception. Then to top it off when I checked their Facebook page they were advertising for servers for my daughter’s wedding on the day of the wedding (see facebook post below)! They do not have their own servers they just advertise on craigslist and Facebook to hire people at half the price that you will pay them. Beware this is not the first time that this company has been a no show, there are two other events on Yelp in April and May 2018.

    Night & Day was the absolute WORST VENDOR I have ever worked with on. Do read what the negative reviews are saying.

    They said they provided chefs but put on their language as "catering assistants." When we questioned them, they claimed that they would be able to cook and do the tasks we listed on this 200 person wedding. Their staff was completely incompetent and ruined the entire event.
    1. Their staff arrived late and were sitting outside the venue and not setting up and were rude when questioned why they weren't at their posts.
    2. The bartender drank on the job and kept doing it after being reprimanded, 3 times.
    3. The cooking staff didn't know they would be cooking except one person, who we suspect was high on something as she disappeared a number of times and seemed to not care. They came dressed in waiter uniforms, and the one person who knew she was working wore sweats. No aprons, no knives, no chef hats. Because they were not chefs.
    4. The other "cooking staff" did not know how to cook and our entire event was ruined. Food was unheated, burnt. They did not complete their tasks lists. They disappeared. Totally disastruous.
    5. One "cook" seemed to have never worked a job in his life so we took him out of the kitchen because he didn't know how to boil water. When asked to dispose of something, he dumped it on the ground (which was against venue rules) and splashed dirty stuff all over my nice shoes. He was utterly rude and contemptuous.
    6. Jennifer Miranda and Erin Campos would not take my calls and would not respond to emails despite the contract saying we would get a refund if tasks not complete.
    7. They tried to say the failure was ours not theirs for sending people who were not chefs to cook!
    8. They still send me advertisements to use them to cater in cities I don't live in. All about sales, and no follow up.
    I regret the day I contracted them and I hope to save you the pain, PTSD and heartache I went through.

    I am going to be totally honest with you: PLEASE save yourself the heartache of working with this company. The servers that serviced our October wedding were extremely nice but lacked the necessary service skills for an event like a wedding. I will go ahead and give you a quick rundown of the issues that we ran into:
    -I provided an hour-by-hour schedule of everything that needed to get done throughout the event. The staff didn't seem to use these instructions because many things went wrong. Night and Day will tell you that there is a LEAD for the event. Trust me, there was not. They had no idea what to do and they did the least work possible during the event.
    -The welcome drinks were not put out for guests upon arrival.
    -We had 2 bars and one was not set up until we asked them to do so. Our guests had to wait in a long line - exactly what we wanted to avoid when purchasing 2 bars!
    -Nothing was refilled during cocktail hour. We had cheese plates, fruit plates, nut bowls, candy bowls, etc. The staff would stand around talking and had to be asked every time to refill things. We went home with a LOT of food because nothing was refilled.
    -The staff would sit in the back room and drink the wine for the event. We can actually see this quite a bit in the background of our wedding video.
    -They seemed a bit buzzed by the end of the night and were dancing on the dance floor.
    -One server blantantly tried to kiss one of our guests that had too much to drink.
    -They opened up EVERY bottle of alcohol at the venue and then asked to take the unused alcohol home at the end of the event because "it would go bad."
    Honestly, I would think twice about contracting with this company but if you decide to, PLEASE make sure you put the following in the agreement:
    -a clause that keeps the bartenders from opening alcohol until absolutely necessary (saving you hundreds of dollars)
    -a clause that ENSURES you have a lead server at the event - someone that can ride the staff.
