JLP Films was awesome!
I would 100% recommend JLP Films to anyone looking for a videographer! I cannot say enough good things about Jacob. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. Right off the bat he was so friendly and always answered my questions (and I had a lot of them) very quickly, even before I officially booked him. He let us pick the songs that he included in our video. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early to make sure he got shots of all of us getting ready. He worked so smoothly with our photographer that a couple people asked us if they were a team (they weren’t – we booked our photographer separately). He directed us well and had fun with it, so we were able to have fun too! The most impressive thing is that he got our entire video package to us in TWO DAYS!! And he kept us in the loop with fun previews as he was working on it too. But most importantly, the video was AMAZING!!! When my husband and I watched it together for the first time, we teared up. The picture quality was perfect, the shots he got were amazing, and he even dubbed in our vows over the music. He really captured our wedding day. It’s only been a week since our wedding, and I think we’ve watched the video about 50 times! One of the best pieces of advice I got when planning our wedding was to hire a videographer, and I’m so happy we chose JLP Films! -

A real class act
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to work with Jacob for our wedding, but we still wanted to share our experience because of how he handled an unexpected situation with so much professionalism and care.
We had our final meeting with Jacob to go over all the details, and our video call left us so excited — his enthusiasm for our wedding was clear. However, on the Monday before our wedding (which was that coming Sunday), he reached out with unfortunate news: his full-time job required him to be on site that day, and he wouldn’t be able to film our wedding himself.
Jacob could have simply canceled, sent a refund, and moved on — but he didn’t. Instead, he went above and beyond to make things right. He personally contacted other videographers to find a qualified replacement for us. He introduced us to someone fantastic, assured us that if we weren’t comfortable with the backup he would refund us, and even covered the new videographer’s hotel stay for an extra night. He also made himself available to assist with the editing process afterward to ensure our final video reflected our original vision.
While we wish we could have worked with Jacob directly, we’re so grateful for the way he handled everything. His integrity, accountability, and genuine care speak volumes about his character. Even when things didn’t go as planned, he made sure our wedding day was still captured beautifully.
Jacob is truly a class act, and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer who not only delivers great work but also stands by his clients no matter what. -

The best ever!!
Jacob was an absolutely incredible videographer to work with! He truly thought of every detail to capture of our day, and made us feel so special through it all. The video he created is above and beyond anything we could’ve ever imagined, and we feel so blessed to have his amazing work to remember the best day of our lives forever. He also turned the video around so impressively fast. We could not recommend him more, Jacob is the best!! -

The perfect day!
Working with JLP films was truly one of the best decisions for our wedding day! From the start, Jacob was incredibly professional, friendly, and easy to work with – you could genuinely tell he loves what he does. His passion shone through in every interaction.
Working solo, he was a calm and timely presence on the day, capturing every moment beautifully without being intrusive. He blended seamlessly into the background, yet managed to capture all the significant details. The final video absolutely blew us away. Jacob didn't just record events; he crafted a timeless, emotional narrative that perfectly captured the joy of the day. Now, we can relive our special day whenever we watch it, feeling all those precious moments come back to life.

Amazing wedding video
It was wonderful working with Jacob. He is so easy to work with. The videos we got back are amazing. He has great attention for detail. Worked so will with my photography as well. (They meet that day) I would 100% hire him again. -

Booking with JLP Films was hands down one of the best investments we put into our wedding day. Not only was Jacob amazing to work with on our wedding day, his turn around time was absolutely amazing! The amount of compliments we have received from our family and friends from our wedding video has been incredible. Tyler and I often find ourselves cooking dinner on random week nights and playing our wedding video as it was the perfect representation of our day. We will forever cherish the fact that we get to relive our wedding day, and will have the chance to share our special day to our future kids, because of JLP Films talents! 🤍 -

No Regrets!
JLP was a fantastic videographer to work with! He's dedicated and talented at what he does, and he goes above and beyond to show that. As someone who knows a decent amount about photography and videography myself, I knew that I wanted to hire someone who is knowledgable in what they do, would have fun with it, and would be able to show the importance of our day, and he was able to do that (& more)! He was lots of fun to work with, made us both feel comfortable, and also worked super well with our photographer. All of these things helped our day flow super smoothly and he's great at communicating things leading up to your day so that you won't have to stress out and takes into consideration what's important to you to get filmed the day of the wedding. His post production turn-around time is also incredibly impressive and we were able to watch our wedding video right before we left for our honeymoon! If you are looking to hire a photographer, hire JLP- you won't regret it! -

Couldn’t recommend enough!
Jacob was amazing to work with! He listened to every wish I had! He worked great as a team with my Photographer that he’s never met. He also has our video done in 2 days!! And the video was everything I could hope for! I couldn’t not recommend him enough! -

Fantastic in every way
Jacob and Savannah are truly astounding. They left our wedding at 10:20 pm and we had 5 of our photos, fully edited and sent to me at 10:47 pm that evening. Our finalized video and photos were sent to us Monday at 6:00pm. That was less than 48 hours to receive EVERYTHING. They are worth absolutely every penny and surpassed every potential expectation. -

Blown away!!
I contacted Jacob after seeing a video he did of a friend’s wedding. Man, are we glad we hired him. The video he put together of our day highlighted all the important moment so beautifully! He is a joy to work with and was incredibly personable. He even took the time to talk to my 6 year old nephew about his camera and let him play with it. He was talking about that experience for DAYS. We are so thankful for your talent and can’t wait to watch all the videos over and over again!! -

Stunning Work!
July 24th, 2021 is a day I will never forget. JLP Films created an amazing video that will be with us forever! Absolutely Amazing!!
Jacob of JLP Films gave us the greatest gift possible! Our wedding video brought tears to our eyes. All of our friends and family that weren’t able to be there in person has the opportunity to watch it and I know that brought them so much joy. The video JLP Films made for our wedding was amazing! He captured every moment possible from our big day and compiled it into a beautiful video that we will always cherish. We got so many compliments from guests and non-guests alike on how beautiful the day was and how fun the party looked. We had to reschedule our wedding and he was very understanding and flexible. -
