AMAZING - wish I could relive my appointment over and over

JLM Boutique is the only place I tried on dresses and the only place I ever considered trying on dresses. From the moment you walk in to their gorgeous store, you are immediately at ease. Manager Susan and her amazing sales team will pull out all of the stops to make your dress buying experience nothing short of magical. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Susan and my consultant April for everything they did to go above and beyond and make the process smooth and fun. I ended up purchasing my Hayley Paige dress and the enture buying process was a breeze.
Please don't go anywhere else in Los Angles to get your dress. These ladies will take care of you from start to finish and you'll never regret your choice to walk in those doors.

Great Selection for All Sizes

I am not quite big enough for plus sizes and just a little too big for sample sizes. I went to Nordstrom as well as boutique Sara Seven (both of which have excellent customer service). Although I did find something I liked there, I think I found the best dress that fit me there-not one that I necessarily thought was the one. I found it hard to find a great selection of options that I could even try on, as most stores only carry sample sizes. JLM boutique had a generous selection of dress for me to try on, and feel good in while doing so. They gave me OPTIONS to find pick a dress that only fit me great but one that I would love and fit my style. I am grateful for Linda who I explained my frustrations to upon arriving and worked with me to find styles that were beautiful and flattering. I highly recommend JLM, they also have very reasonable price points available. I am very pleased with my visit there.

Amazing experience!

I don't think it would be possible to have had a better experience here. Molly and the owner (I'm so so sorry I'm blanking on a name here) were so attentive and made me feel like a princess from the second we walked in to the second we left. They were patient, informative, and energetic, and most importantly, really seemed to care. The dress I ended up with is perfect, and the experience was unbeatable. I would highly recommend JLM to any bride!!!

Felt Like A Queen!

I really didn't know what dress I wanted to wear on my wedding day and JLM helped me along the way. The entire JLM team made it so much fun for me and my bridesmaids. Melanie, my stylist, listened to the details of my wedding, my venue, how I wanted to feel that day, and the initial style I wanted to wear. She pulled a handful of dresses that met my criteria as well as a dress I would have not envisioned for myself. Well, that dress I never envisioned was THE dress. I fell in love with it immediately! My veil and jewelry pulled the entire dress together. Once I had my fittings, the alterations team was great. My dress fit like a glove. I couldn't have been any happier on my wedding day.

The only place to find your dream dress!!

I could go on and on about JLM but ill try and keep it short.
They are simply the best. You walk in to a gorgeous boutique and immediately feel like a bride. You are greeted with a wide selection of dresses with out being overwhelmed by choices. Molly spent time getting to know me and what I had envisioned. She was so knowledgeable about each dress and pulled the perfect selection for me. I had three consultations to be completely sure about my choice but molly had pulled my dream dress on the first day (she just knew) !! She even was kind enough to have the designer, Lazaro, draw a sketch of my dress and sign it for me!!!
The alteration process was just as wonderful! Monica was so warm and welcoming, and Gloria is a genius with alterations.
The entire process was perfect and I am so overjoyed that I found my dream dress at JLM!!

Great selection of Hayley Paige dresses!

I got married this past October and I knew I wanted a Hayley Paige dress. I got the the waitlist for one of the trunk show days, and happened to get an appointment for when Hayley herself would be there! Let me tell you, shopping for my wedding dress with Hayley is one of the coolest things I've ever done in my life. Of course, I ended up finding the one and it was perfect!

My consultant was Malinda and she was awesome! Every time I came in she made me feel really comfortable. I appreciated her professional insight also!

Overall, JLM Boutique is a great place to find the perfect Hayley Paige gown. It is not cheap, but the quality is great and you really do get what you pay for, especially when it comes to wedding gowns.

The best!! Great location and a beautiful bridal salon. Molly was my consultant, and she was so much fun to work with - she somehow knew exactly what I was looking for when I wasn't even sure what I wanted! I ended up ordering a custom Hayley Paige gown for my wedding, as well as a veil and accessories from Haute Bride, and the process was so much easier than I thought it would be. Molly frequently updated me throughout the wait for my dress, which helped me stay calm. I also used JLM for my gown alterations, and couldn't have been happier with the results. Gloria is so talented! The alterations team also helped with packing my gown for me to bring to my out-of-state wedding - I'm not sure how they did it, but my fairly poofy dress somehow made it through being crammed in a tiny airplane closet with almost no wrinkles! Highly recommend for both dress shopping and alterations!

I found my dream dress here :) Melanie was the best! Not only was she super helpful and knowledgable when I was trying on dresses, she also worked with me to get to the best deal on my dress. I can't say enough great things about this boutique. My friends had a wonderful time as well, and they even allowed me to FaceTime my mom since she was out of town. Highly recommend this place!

Couldn’t have asked for a more amazing experience! My bridal consultant Molly made me feel special and really listened to what I was looking for. Also Gloria who is their designated seamstress is amazing! Her work is flawless and truly loves making sure her brides feel their best!

5 stars across the board! I didn't know much about wedding designers, but through Instagram decided I liked the one-off style of Haley Paige and found that JLM carried her dresses. I went one afternoon and tried them on and there was no looking back. Once the dress was purchased, JLM gave me a personalized consultant, Hallie treated me like I was her only client giving me personal phone calls and talking through all next steps. Then it came to the alterations and I had the pleasure of working with Gloria who reminded me of when I used to sit and chat with my grandma. Not to mention the back of my dress was beaded mesh and not easy to work with, yet Gloria made all adjustments to perfection! I hope to go by again someday and thank her, she made me that dress fit an incredible fit on me.

I am so thankful a friend of mine recommended JLM because not only did I find my dream dress but I could not have had a more incredible experience working with the ladies from JLM. Molly was my stylist and she was so personable and kind throughout the process. I ended up finding a runway exclusive gown (I didn't even know what this was at the time) and I tell you, wearing this dress was one of the things I was most looking forward to. It was SUCH A SPECIAL dress, I still have it hanging in my room because I just can't part with it. I also ended up purchasing my veil through JLM and Molly helped me pick out the most perfect veil that made such a beautiful statement on my big day. They also helped me with accessorizing and Molly was willing to provide any guidance needed. JLM also helped with my alterations and they did a fantastic job with my bustle. From start to finish, JLM was incredible!! I will be urging all future brides (even outside of LA) to pay JLM a visit when looking for their special gown. Thank you all for making my wedding more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!!

I had such a fantastic experience at JLM Salon. I bought my dress during a Hayley Paige trunk show and was able to make some serious changes to my dress. From start to finish, everyone at JLM was a dream to work with, especially my consultant, Gabrielle. I found all their prices to be reasonable, including in-house alterations! The salon itself is beautiful and they have a showroom floor full of dreamy wedding dresses. This should absolutely be on your list of must-visit salons!

I went to 4 bridal boutiques in search of the perfect dress. JLM was the 3rd one I visited.

My bridal consultant was Gabrielle and she was amazing from the moment my appointment started. She pulled various dresses for me and let me and my sister pick a few from the floor. The entire process was a dream and at no point did I feel pressured or rushed.

The process at JLM was seamless from making the purchase to alterations to picking up my dress! Did I mention I was cutting it a bit close when ordering my dress? Gabrielle and the rest of the team worked with me to make sure all my alterations, etc were ready in time for the big day. Everyone there was beyond sweet and helpful!

The selection and level of service at JLM Couture is truly second to none. My first day of wedding dress shopping I visited three stores, including JLM Couture on Robertson, and I can't even compare my experience at JLM to the other shops. JLM has an amazing selection of the most beautiful, unique wedding dresses. Their boutique-style store makes you feel comfortable and beautiful and absolutely gives you the feeling of being a princess looking for the perfect gown. The women who work at JLM are so sweet and professional, and do such a wonderful job of listening to what you want and finding beautiful options. I would absolutely recommend everyone to go to JLM as it was the most perfect dress-shopping experience I could ever imagine.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at JLM Couture Flagship Salon searching for and finally selecting my wedding dress. Melanie was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel so comfortable as I wasn't 100% sure of what I exactly was looking for in a dress but she was able to help me focus on my vision; ultimately leading me to select my dream dress. We purchased my wedding dress at JLM Couture, and I definitely recommend them! Their dress collection is so beautiful and feels much more unique and special than other wedding salons. Some of the salons we visited felt like such factories. I also had my dress alterations done at JLM. I worked heavily with their manager Susan and their seamstress Jocelyn. They were both excellent! Susan worked with my budget on several things and was very accommodating. I LOVED working with Jocelyn!! She is so talented and such a warm person. She custom made my veil from old lace on a family friends veil. It was quite a bit of work, and she gave me a great price. I really had a great experience with JLM. And, of course, I LOVE my wedding dress!!

Angela was fresh and young. She was just what I needed to help make the best wedding dress decision. With so many choices out there, Angela honed in on ME. She was able to pick up my personality and taste and brought me options that fit who I am. I was so nervous to go wedding dress shopping but as soon as I walked into JLM Couture, I was put at ease by Lina. I told her what style I wanted and she pulled 7 dresses for me from their gorgeous selection. The dress I picked was the second one I tried on and that was it! Such an easy and painless process! Once my dress was in, the tailor did such an amazing job making it the perfect fit. Susan and her entire team were true professionals and always greeted me with a smiling face. I would recommend JLM Couture to anyone looking for their dream wedding dress!

They have a great selection of gowns and the staff is so helpful and friendly. I chose a Lazaro gown from the store for my wedding day and it was tailored to perfection. Susan even dropped the gown off to me the day before my wedding. I would highly recommend going here for your dress!

My JLM experience was fantastic! I been to several other wedding stores and the vibe at JLM was like none other!! Everybody was so nice and down to earth! My dress was the first one I tried on! I also got to meet the designer during the trunk show. My mom and I had so much fun with Angela Miller she made the whole, normally stressful, shopping experience awesome! I would highly recommend making an appointment with her. She was honest and easy to work with! It was a very special experience...

This review is based on the selection process, I haven't received my dress yet.

The atmosphere at JLM Salon is so amazing. The store itself is so beautiful and chic- definitely worth the trip inside!
The selection of gowns was exceptional, but not overwhelming. The dresses are very high quality, beautiful material.
The private room where I tried on dresses was roomy, had comfortable seating, and had a great wall-size mirror.
My consultant Lina was outstanding. She was so friendly, stylish, and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable with her right away and she really listened to my vision. Working with Lina was one of the best parts of my experience at JLM; she gave great feedback and made excellent suggestions. I didn't feel any pressure from her to buy (which was nice), but I ended up purchasing the dress that day! I also worked with Susan, she took my measurements, went over all of the logistics of purchasing the dress. and even had champagne ready for us when I made the final decision-such a nice touch!

Words cannot describe my incredibly wonderful experience with JLM Couture. I wish for every bride to have this same experience!

JLM was a great place to shop for my wedding dress. I sent an email with a list of the designer and style number dresses to see if they had the dress available for me to try on. They were pretty slow with the email response however when I called they answered ALL of my questions. They told me what they had in the store, even told me how much it was over the phone. Most places I called would not tell me their retail prices. When they didn't have a dress available to try on, they told me they would borrow a dress from another store without charging me. If another store did not have the dress I wanted to try on, they suggested that I PURCHASE the dress so have it delivered for me to try on....HELLO why would I purchase a dress I haven't tried on.
The store atmosphere is great, it's small with only 2 dressing rooms and even during a trunk show they would only have 2 brides to be at appointments so it wouldn't be crowded. The lady helping me was great. I didn't feel like I was in a factory with a million of future brides fighting over a mirror.
I ended up buying my dress from here, they offered us champagne and we toasted to a great beginning!

Everyone in the store was absolutely wonderful to work with! Lina was amazing and the designer Franesca made my experience just that much more special. My time spent at JLM was unforgettable and finding my dress couldn't have been more special without the JLM crew!

I had the best experience at JLM Boutique! Jessica was so sweet and helpful. I found the most beautiful dress out there! I had been multiple places searching for the perfect dress and found it here. An absolutely must go store if searching for your dream dress!

I had a wonderful experience at the JLM boutique. My consultant Jessica was wonderful to work with. She helped me find the perfect dress and matching headpiece and veil to compliment my overall wedding vision. Even after I bought mt dress they were great. The week after I bought my drees I had a question about my order and they were great at getting bak to me and answering all my questions. They really treat you as part of the JLM family. Susan, Jessica, and all the desigers are great. Very personable and really take the time and effort to make each bride feel unique and special. I was there during the Lazaro trunk show and had such a great time meeting and working with him to pick the perfect dress. He is not only talented but also the nicest and endearing man. I cant say enough great things abou my experience. Thank you JLM for making my experience so special and memorable.

My experience at JLM was everything I could have ever hoped for and imagined. They were extremely friendly and helpful, and the customer service is honestly one of the best I have ever witnessed. I happened to stumble upon their store before they even opened that location for business, and they opened the store for me! They were so sweet and helpful and did not make me feel as though I was an imposition at all (despite the fact that prices had still not been marked on the gowns and the store was still being organized). My family and I were so comfortable and at ease at JLM that we were committed to finding and purchasing the perfect dress from them - which wasn't a difficult task since they have such a beautiful selection of gowns! I would recommend to any future bride that they stop by JLM Couture on Robertson so that they can experience what shopping for a bridal gown should truly feel like!

Although JLM Couture is a wholesaler (the dresses must be purchased through an authorized retailer) I have to say the customer service is excellent! Beyond that, my Lazaro wedding gown was more than gorgeous and I couldn't imagine wearing anything else!

I purchased my Jim Hjelm gown at a trunk show at JLM. From the start the staff at JLM were fantastic. Gabrielle helped me feel confident in my decision and find a gown that worked for my body. She also helped me find the perfect belt and veil. All of my other appointments were excellent--everything arrived on time and in good condition. The tailoring services are done directly through the Boutique and were phenomenal and easy. I never had to stress about any of the details. The shop is totally adorable too :) Thanks JLM!

I had an incredible experience buying my dress at this boutique. They were up front about pricing and made process simple and straightforward. I did lots of shopping throughout Los Angeles and San Diego and feel that they had the best quality of service, organization, and professionalism. Not only are their dresses exquisite, but they have a large selection to choose from. I truly feel like my dress is a work of art and that I got it for a fair price! My search for the perfect dress felt very tedious until coming to JLM Couture. My sales assistant was Gloria (who is also now doing my alterations and the designer of my veil) was wonderful in helping me choose a dress. Without my mom there, I was hesitant to pull the trigger but she assured me my mom would love it - and she does! I did my first fitting with her a few weeks ago too and he pinned the dress to perfection. I can't wait to see the end result.

The manager of the store is extremely friendly and helpful. Besides one poor experience with one girl on the phone, I have loved my overall experience with buying my wedding dress through JLM and cannot wait to wear it in 2 months!

I loved my dress shopping experience at JLM! The sales associates were helpful and respectful of our budget. The store is small and allows for an intimate shopping experience. I bought my dress at a JIm Hjelm trunk show and was lucky to meet the designer and get custom changes made to the dress. They accommodated me for late in the day fittings and their seamstress was so lovely!

I really loved my experience here. I liked that it wasn't an overwhelming store. It's small and just carries a few designers. The people that helped me find my dress were fantastic. So honest and sweet. They didn't push the most expensive dress on me just to make more commission. They didn't make me feel bad for trying on so many dresses. If I had to pick out a dress all over again I would absolutely go back here. On the day I picked out my dress, my designer, Lazaro was in the store. I got my photo with him, he drew me a sketch and we got champagne! Top that? Doubtful. :)

I was so happy to find a wedding dress that I felt was perfect for me! The JLM salon is pretty and clean, and I always found street parking right out front. The team there was friendly and helpful throughout the process of me choosing a dress, even though I was cutting it close to get my dress by the wedding date. With later visits to try to figure out my accessories, they were all happy to help with suggestions and opinions. Turned out to be a great experience!

(This is not a full review as I have only signed the contract but have not finished all the fittings and received the finished dress.) I had just started wedding dress shopping and attended the Lazaro trunk show more to see what his vision is like and if it aligns with my taste. I had no expectation of buying my dress and in fact had 2 more designers (at least) on my list of "places to check out". Lina, as my wedding consultant, was not only thoughtful but responsive when I gave her feedback on what I liked or did not like about a dress I tried on, using that to filter other dresses she had in mind. Her enthusiasm was catching and she also tactfully gave me space to think when I was clearly having a tough time deciding! Lazaro himself was there and he was very sweet, offering opinions only when asked. The JLM staff were professional and I could not have had a better experience so far. I look forward to the fittings and hope that the adjustments I requested will be done perfectly.

On my very first visit to try on wedding dresses I went to the JLM Flagship store for the Lazaro trunk show. I even got to meet Lazaro. :) I was lucky enough to have Angela as my bridal consultant. She made everything so easy for me-- and really understood the style i was looking for-- even though I was unsure as I hadn't ever tried on a wedding gown before. But it was such an easy and fun experience. And even though I was there for the Lazaro trunk show Angela had a feeling i'd really like one of the Alvina Valentas-- well she was right! The last dress i tried on was ultimately the one I chose! She just made it a truly enjoyable experience and completely worked with my budget and my timeline. She also was happy to have me back two days later to try on the dress again with some of my best friends just for a second and third opinion. Very accommodating and professional-- I couldn't have had a better experience or have been more satisfied with Angela or JLM as a whole! Can't wait for my dress to arrive!

Dream Dress

I found my dream dress here. I already had a feeling, but when I tried it in person, it was perfect! They helped me by showing me the different colors it came in and helping match a veil. I did alterations through their seamstress, and she did an excellent job. They only do alterations on Thursdays though, so it worked for me, but can understand that it won't for everyone. I was so happy and felt so confident on the day.

I bought my wedding dress and had my alterations done at JLM. My consultant was Melanie, and she was awesome! The store is really cute and small, with beautiful dresses. Everyone was very nice. I did have a little trouble calling the store at times - it could be hard to actually get in touch with someone. The other issue I had was that their alterations schedule was not very flexible, so with my job, it was a little stressful to find a time that worked that I could come in and do the alteration appointments. The other thing is that for the first alteration appointment, they were really backed up, and rushed the appointment, then asked me to get dressed and come back in a half an hour so they could see other brides and use the dressing room, which is really frustrating. Also, my dress came in HUGE and I did not lose weight. If I did, it was no more than a few pounds, so the measuring, which isn't done by a seamstress but by the consultant, must have been done wrong. That is also frustrating because it means more money in the alterations area, and it's difficult to bring a dress down by that much, which was evident in how the dress fit in the end. I will say that the alteration woman was very nice to work with, and even made a bolero for me. She was very flexible, it just seemed like at times that her hands were tied by those she answered to at JLM. She did have a tendency to try to talk me out of what I was thinking (tightening it here or there, etc.), and I noticed it with other brides she worked with as well, but most of us seemed to stick with what we wanted and I think we were all happy we did. I would recommend shopping at JLM for your dress, I would just caution you to double check the measuring is done correctly, and maybe consider taking your dress elsewhere for alterations in order to have more flexibility on appointments and time.

Angela was such a pleasure to work with! She offered great advice and reassurance as I was shopping with my friend (as my parents live on the other side of the country). Getting the direct input from Lazaro himself was an added bonus.

I ended up buying my Hayley Paige dress from JLM in West Hollywood. Gabrielle was great, very straighforward but knowledgable and helpful. If you're looking for an HP or Alvina Valenta gown, this is your place. The gown I wanted wasn't in stock, so they ordered it for me (no fee!) during a trunk sale and gave me an additional 10% off. I ended up not getting my alterations done there because they are only available on certain weekdays, but it was a great experience at a lovely store (seriously, it smells amazing and I wish I could live inside it). Highly recommend!

Gorgeous dresses but the staff can be kind of rude. Had a good experience meeting Lazaro when I first chose my dress, but I felt rushed by my consultant.

I bought the most beautiful wedding dress I have ever seen at this store! But it wasn't because of the staff... the dress sold itself! This place is great if they have the dress you need and you are flexible in your schedule. Their schedule is pretty rigid when it comes to scheduling fittings and other appointments. As long as you are ok with that and they have THE dress, then I would definitely recommend this place!

Do not support jlm

JLM and their CEO locked HP into a strict contract and have now taken her namesake and social media accounts away from her. HP is NOT behind her account, they took it! Do not support JLM. HP cares about brides, JLM does not care about their designers.
