  The Sky Fell and JLK Saved It!

  Our wedding was hit particularly hard with last minute drop-outs from COVID, terrible weather, and no cake! Liz was so amazing with communication throughout the entire process but especially the weekend of the wedding. The day before, when we discovered there was about a 90% chance of rain, she called and was so reassuring with multiple options and contingency plans. We were unable to do our cafe style lighting for the ceremony and cocktail hour due to the rain and were able to come up with an alternative. Our DJ was Gary Lucca and he was the best! He was great with communicating beforehand about our choices and was great at walking us through the app used for us to put our music choices in. I was very nervous about the reception as I'm a terrible dancer and half the people who were supposed to come ended up unable to come. Gary had everyone on the floor the whole night! He was great at being engaging yet not interrupting the music too much. I had never danced so much! Gary was great at reading the room and giving some breaks with slow songs and knew when it was good to pick everything back up again. He was great with our must-plays and our do no play lists as well! Gary also created a custom song for my husband and his mom, combining three of them together and making it so special for them and the whole family! He was also able to play a special song for my husband and his friends that all attended the same college. It really topped off the night with something special!
  
  The whole team was so nice and patient throughout the entire process and was amazing to work with. I highly recommend JLK!

  Great all the way through!

  JLK was amazing for our wedding day. We felt their prices were really good compared to other local vendors. They gave us several options to fit our venue perfectly. They sent helpful wedding planning general information emails leading up to our date and reminded us when payment was soon to be due which was nice. We thought the cafe lights and lanterns were just perfect!

  Wonderful!

  The tea lights looked great! They were set up the day before so we were able to see them during our rehearsal. Just magical.

  The JLK Team was wonderful! They provided some cafe lights for the garden and uplighting for outside and inside the ballroom. The lighting was perfect, it was natural, placed in all the right places. Featuring our cake table, cigar table / pergola, and a beautiful entrance design.
  
  From beginning to end they were extremely attentive always keeping in touch and checking-in in regards to floor plan changes, etc. Was pleasantly surprised with all their work, their professionalism, attention to detail and willingness to work with myself and our wedding planner. Superior service 100%! Would recommend their services to anyone that is looking for honest, hard working people.
  
  Aside from all the lighting, they also send awesome wedding guides and checklists through out the process (so some extra perks!).

  We met with Liz at JLK and she is lovely! Initially we hadn't thought we'd need additional lighting, so were a little thrown at the unplanned expense but it was well worth it. Liz and her team strung cafe lights all across our outdoor venue, hung a chandelier above our bar and placed uplights to illuminate the brick walls of our fort venue. It was gorgeous. The lighting did wonders to create the ambiance we were looking for - so glad our planner contacted Liz to discuss lights, our vision couldn't have come to life the same way without it. Thanks JLK!

  Liz from JLK helped design the most beautiful lighting I could have dreamt of! I was a destination bride, and she made everything so easy! We had a quick consult on the phone and she went right to work designing a lighting scheme. Plus, she gave me a great military discount!
  The ballroom was transformed into a romantic and dreamy setting. They hung the cafe lights in a way that it felt like a canopy. My guests raved about how much better the Dataw Island Carolina Ballroom looked with those lights! At the time I felt that I was going overboard and splurging...but it was the best money I spent. The feel of the event would not have been the same, and every photo (especially my dance with my father) is absolutely gorgeous. Hire JLK, you will not regret it!

  I was planning my daughters wedding from afar. We live in Michigan and she was getting married in Savannah, Georgia. From the first conversation with Liz at JLK I knew I had found the right person for the job of lighting the venue.
  
  They worked with our planners, Alysse and Tristan of Design Studio South to create the most amazing lighting! We had vintage Edison bulbs dangling over the dance floor and beautiful uplighting highlighting the historic exposed brick walls of the venue.
  
  On the back patio the cocktail area was lit with cafe lights.
  
  Everything looked better than we could have imagined. We changed our minds a couple of times and they couldn't have been more flexible. Also, it was their first time doing the vintage lighting, and they absolutely rose to the challenge. It all looked amazing! Thank you thank you thank you.

  The owners of the company made us feel like family! We had an amazing entertainment crew and day because they truly think about everything and are well prepared. They even surprised us with a couple of tricks up their sleeves!

  JLK turned a white tint into a Raspberry wonderland! The lighting inside and out was perfect and so romantic, it changed everything. Also, the photo booth was a major hit. Our favorite part has been looking through the photo booth book and laughing over and over at how silly everyone was. Thank you JLK for giving us the best!- Jessica

  Everything We Were Looking For

  Great vendor, easy to work with. We went with their most basic package but it looked anything but. We had a high ceiling venue and their lights were able to create a more intimate atmosphere. Customer service was easy to work with, communication was prompt. A great choice!
