Jinny and her lovely ladies helped me get my perfect wedding dress. I shopped around at different Bridal Store but Jinny promised me the best price in town. She ordered the Mori Lee dress I wanted and beat another local stores floor price! My brand new dress fit perfect, only took a few weeks to get in, and was around $600! My alterations were done there as well, luckily I only needed to add the belt and get cups put in, but she did a wonderful job. Thank you Jinny & your team of wonderful ladies for helping me get the dress I loved!

I called Jinny's Bridal after having previously visited 3 other shops and not having found my dress yet and made an appointment to come in and look. It is very easy to find.

One of my favorite things about this shop is that they have sample dresses in all different sizes for you to try on, not just one standard size. They are also very affordable, I saw several dresses here that were under the $1k mark. I was sometimes shocked when I put on a dress to see how low the price was. They have a wide variety of brand and silhouettes.

I found my dress when I came to Jinny's and paid 100% of my invoice that day. I got 10% off for paying in full. They measured me that day to make sure that I was purchasing the appropriate size and length for my dress.

I came a few weeks ago and pickled up my dress. I bought my veil and accessories that day. I am looking forward to working with them in April.

I loved everything about my experience at Jinny's Bridal. Bree was an amazing consultant. She really listened to the types of dresses I wanted to try on and also threw in a few that she had seen on other women with my body type (curvy). I had no idea what style of dress I wanted, but knew I wanted lace and sleeves (not strapless). She assisted me as I tried on a few dresses and then I found the one. She gave me her honest opinion throughout the whole experience and I really felt like I could trust her. When I tried on the dress I purchased I knew it was the one, but she still humored me in trying on a few more gowns and I even took a few days and came back with my sister to retry it on and confirm it was "the dress". It was a wonderful experience, no pressure and I felt so at ease with everyone that worked there including the owner. My Matron of Honor bought her wedding dress at Jinny's 9 years ago and countless other friends have also found their dress at Jinny's. I would highly recommend this shop to every bride out in Orange County!

I had the BEST experience at Jinny's Bridal. Jinny was there to help me from day one. I even found the dress I loved somewhere else at a slightly cheaper price and Jinny's matched it for me! Everything was flawless from the first fitting to the last. Very professinal, very easy to work with, very accommodating to the timeframe. They all make you feel so special when you're in there as well. Great place. Definitely recommend using.

I had gone to 10+ "fancy" wedding dress shops and found nothing I loved. Jinnys was a last stop and they had the exact style of dress I wanted hundreds of dollars cheaper then another shop. The staff was great and made it a greAt experience! I highly recommend jinnys to all my soon to be bride friends and in fact 2 of them recently purchased their dresses there as well, I got countless compliments on my dress it was unique and stunning.

Great wedding dress selection and a very helpful and nice staff! The girls helping me knew the best silhouette for my body and kept bringing me all kinds of dresses to try until we found the perfect one! I would highly recommend! Their alterations girl is amazing too!!

I visited Jinny's on the independent recommendations of several different friends who did not know each other. I had shopped once at a larger chain and did not have a good experience there, as I felt like I rushed through the process.

I really liked that at my first appointment, my mom and I were given free reign to pick out the dresses I would try on. I am a plus-sized gal, so being able to pick styles I felt comfortable in was important to me. I absolutely fell in love with the second dress I tried on and ended up ordering it (try on the weird one your mom picks out, girls!).

Sadness and tears struck when we found out that my dress had been discontinued. Jinny herself called to apologize and offered me a couple solutions. I asked if she would sell me the floor model at a discount, which she did.

Now the problem was that the dress was a Wedding Size 14 (which is really a small 12) and I'm a large 16. The alterations gal they have there worked miracles. She was able to alter the dress so it looked like it had been made for me. Jinny also threw in a free steaming since I had to pay about as much for alterations as we saved off the price of the dress.

My overall experience was fantastic. Every single person I worked with was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone.

I visited several bridal stores with no luck to finding my wedding dress. I walked in to Jinny's Bridal on a busy Saturday without an appointment which was awesome because most placed I called said I needed to call n advance. I loved their selection of wedding dresses. I bought my wedding dress at Jinny's Bridal. It was the first dress I tried on and I loved it. The look on my husband's face seeing me wear it for the first time while walking down the aisle was priceless. He was speechless! He also loved my wedding dress and I got many compliments http day. I had a great experience with Jinny's Bridal! A wide selection of dresses with reasonable price tags. The saleswoman I worked with was amazing (sadly I can't remember her name as it was over a year ago)...as was everyone else in the store. One of the employees (not the one I was "working with" that day) suggested the dress I ended up buying. They were all there to help...and she found the perfect dress. AND...it was reasonably priced!! I keep trying to think of another day I can wear my dress! :) Alterations were easy because I only needed a bustle. They were very honest with me... the dress was just a very little long (and I am sure they could have convinced me to make it shorter), but 2 different employees gave me suggestions so as not to have to pay lots of money getting it hemmed that little amount. I tell every bride I know to check out Jinny's!

I got my wedding dress here and I couldn't be happier. They have great designer dresses and for great prices. I got my Allure wedding dress for $900. I got so many compliments on how beautiful my dress was. I loved my dress and couldn't wait to put it on. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I was a very practical bride and knew that I didn’t want to break the bank on a dress I would wear only once. I was content on wearing an Ann Taylor dress until I would my perfect fit and flare dress. It was the perfect dress but the price went against every logical bone in my body. Then I went to Jinny’s and to my surprise, the dress was almost $200 less compared to the other salons. That taught me that some bridal salons really aren’t there to help some brides dreams come true but truly out to capitalize on the bridal business. Needless to say, I was sooo happy with my consultant who patiently understood the amount of time I needed to think about the purchase. Jinny’s bridal was very professional. My dress came in within 2 months of ordering it and alterations were completed in 2 weeks. Jinny’s Bridal exceeded all my expectations! Thank you so much!

Excellent service!! I had a very bad experience in a other bridal store and was frustrated and stress to find out I had to buy another dress four weeks before my wedding date. I was recommended to come to Jinnys bridal and for my surprise it was a big relief. The service was excellent the seamstress work was impeccable .. I had a very positive experience at Jinny's. They have TONS of dresses under $1000, and the sales staff is really down to earth. I didn't feel pressured, and they didn't sneak in any dresses out of my budget (like the other places did). The salon itself may not look as fancy as other places, but they have plenty of great dresses to choose from. I did have my bustle down there, and the seamstress seemed very knowledgeable and had great suggestions for my dress.

As an added bonus, my dress arrived much earlier than expected, and the alterations team was very quick too.

I had a wonderful experience at Jinny's. I made an appointment and was seen right away. My dress was the second one I tried on, and it was beautiful! They weren't pushy, they were very helpful, and overall it was a great experience. I also purchased a clip for my hair which turned out to be my favorite accessory. I was not disappointed at all and I highly recommend Jinny's for any bride who is looking for an affordable, yet beautiful dress :-)

I went to 4 other bridal salons before I went to Jinnys. Big mistake. I only wish I went to Jinny's first. I was so overwhlmed with wedding dresses that I was apprehensive that I would find a dress. The sales ladies there were so helpful and calmed all of my anxieties. They found me the most perfect dress. Once you walk into the store they will remember you. Everytime I came back for a fitting or what not they knew exactly who I was.

I originally went to the Mariposa Boutique in Orange County to find a wedding dress... I hated it there and everything they had. My MOH suggested Jinny's Bridal... which I've never heard of but decided anything was better then my first experience. It's a total hole in the wall but absolutely amazing. At that point I didn't even know what type of dress I wanted, Marina took one look at me, pulled a dress out of a rack and took me to the dressing room. When I came out my mother, MOH, and sisters all started crying. It was perfect! She knew exactly the dress that was meant or my body. I bought my dress, veil, hair accessory, and shoes there well within my attire budget. Everything was ordered and then my dress came in. I'm very short so Marina suggested a petite dress, which would save money on alterations. The dress came in defective. The front bottom hem was crooked. Jinny then became involved. She called the manufacturer and had them compensate me for the error. The hem was fixed and nobody could tell there was an error. I totally suggest Jinny's Bridal. They were absolutely a pleasure to work with.

I don't have much sense in style, and I don't really know what I wanted besides simple. I went to few bridal stores, but I couldn't find anything that I liked, until I went to Jinny's Bridal. All the ladies in Jinny's Bridal are very friendly and patient. Not knowing what I wanted, they went through different styles until they found me the perfect dress that I loved! The order was quick & I did my alteration & press with them as well.
The day I did my alteration, I was very upset, because I just put my cat to sleep the night before. While I was trying on my gown, I couldn't hold my tears, and the staff at Jinny's saw it. They came to me one by one and gave me a hug, that made me feel so warm. They talked to me and made sure that I was ok before letting me left the shop. It was very thoughtful of them and I couldn't thank them more for that.

We got my wedding dress, my bridesmaid dresses, my mother of the bride dress, and my sister's wedding dress from Jinny's. We could not be happier with all of them. Jinny and her staff are amazing! They have a great selection and terrific prices. They are really helpful and know a lot about what looks good on a particular person. And, they are NOT snooty like most bridal shops. Jinny even wanted to see our wedding photos when they were ready and gave us her personal phone # if anything went wrong the day of. Incredible!

I had a great experience at Jinny's. I had gone to other bridal shops and told them my budget but was pressured into trying on a ton of dresses that were well above my budget. At Jinny's Marina helped me and she was amazing. I told her my budget and she brought me a ton of options that were far below the price that I had given her. I found one that was perfect and luckily did not need any alterations...just a bustle. So I was able to get my dress, veil, and bustle for under my set budget for the dress alone.

After going to about 5 other "discount" wedding dress boutiques, including large retailers like David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo, I was getting pretty discouraged about finding a dress that I liked that was within my budget (under $800). Originally I had thought that was plenty, but I guess I have expensive taste, and the only dresses I found under $1000 were made out of really cheap material and were styles from the 90's. Ew.

Some of my friends suggested going to Jinny's Bridal (a couple of my now-husband's friends from college got their dresses there too!), so I went and checked them out.

Holy cow what a selection!! The difference between them and the other boutiques I had visited were like night and day. It was crazy! I literally just ran around and chose about 10 different dresses I liked off the racks, and ALL of them were under my budget! And I'm picky, so that's saying something. The sales ladies there are very knowledgable and very nice and I felt like I was well taken care of. I think the 3rd dress I tried on that day was the one I ended up with!

I was so happy with it! I got a mermaid style with more of an a-line skirt (flared out at the hips, not knees), and it was a sweetheart strapless neckline, with a corset back, in diamond white. It was genuine Maggie Sottero too! Because it was corset-style, I didn't need to have it altered (yay!), and with 2 1/2" heels, I didn't need it hemmed either. Just a bustle! It was perfect, I couldn't have been happier with it!

My best friend found her dress at Jinny's and I totally forgot about until after a bad experience at another dress shop. I went into Jinny's by myself with no appointment, but it wasn't a problem at all. Before I knew it, we were pulling dresses over my head. I gave her my price range and she never blinked an eye. The dress I chose was the last one I tried on and I didn't like it on the rack. But when it got cinched up and that corset did what it's supposed to do, I fell in love with it. Anything that can make my waist look tiny I'm all about. The dress was a couture Maggie Sotterro that had only been tried on once before and since I could buy it off the floor, I got a 50% discount. The dress was stunning, and well under $1000.

This was the first bridal shop i came to when I first got engaged. They are family owned and very friendly BUT I didn't find the dress I liked. We did come back here since it was so close to my sister in law's house and it was like 3 weeks till the wedding and we were looking for a flower girl dress for my niece. I called couple shops and they said I would need 4-6 weeks at least to get the dress in if I order from them. I freaked out of course and had to go running around to see if there was any off the racks that we liked but there wasn't since it all looked kinda old and worn since a lot of girls probably tried it on and above all they didn't really have a size 3. So as soon as we got to Jinny's - Jinny took care of us and told us there's a designer that could get it for us in a week and when she showed me the dress - my sis in law and I both said YES since it looked just like my wedding dress style but just the mini version. I custom made the bow so it would match my bridesmaid dresses and it all worked out. Less than a week we got a call from Jinny that the dress was there. We were so excited to see our cute flower girl in her dress. It worked out great and above all it was reasonable. Other places charged at least $100 for little girl dresses but Jinny was definitely reasonable. After my wedding I got my gown preservation box from Jinny as well since she was $50 cheaper than most places plus she even helped me putting everything together. Great bridal shop and not pushy at all!!

Jinny, Lynn, Shari, Chole, Elizabeth are all wonderful!!!!! I just adore my wedding dress and am happy to report I paid under $750 for it. I loved Jinny's so much - their selection, and price points were too perfect - I had my two flower girls and 7 bridesmaids also order there dresses from Jinny's. The staff was so helpful is the dress selection for myself and the bridal party. I loved their no pressure attitude and service there. They were honest and really wanted to the best for their brides and their bridal parties, I believe they really care about everyone that walks into their store!!!! The Ladies really know there stuff - there were no issues at all with ANY of our dresses (10 total), they all came in on time and without any miss haps. The Ladies are so warm and friendly and really want to you be your very best on your wedding day. I'd get married every year if I could afford to have a new dress and a big party every year, and I would go to Jinny's time and time again. I can't wait to renew my vows so I can get a new dress!!!!

Jinny's bridal store has a good selection of bridal gowns at the most affordable prices in the area. The sales personnel that work in the store give excellent service. Appointments are usually made for fittings and when it is your appointment they cater to your every need. One sales person is assigned to you only and they help you get into the gowns and pick other ones that my look good. It is not like some other stores where they are helping many people at once. They have the best deals and the most personable service in the store.

Let me tell you, Jinny's Bridal is the best in California. It was in The Knot's pick of great bridal salons, and I couldn't have agreed more. My first visit for wedding dresses was with here, and Jinny herself helped me...she actually picked my wedding dress out for me. I'm not a princess, show-off, poofy-wearing kinda girl. I wanted simple & boring dresses. The ones I picked out did nothing for me, but she told me - here's a dress that you have to try on, and just let me know what you think. I took one look at it, and was like "I don't know about this," but I'm glad that I did....the dress fit me like a glove...All the dresses afterwards look hideous and not as beautiful as the first one I tried on. I did go to other salons, and tried on several dresses, but the 1st dress from Jinny had stuck in my mind. Jinny has great customer service, she loves her job, and is the friendliest and sweetest person ever. Her whole staff is the same way. I love Marlene there as well, she helped me pick out my wedding veil to match my dress. Every experience and every visit I had there, was perfect. I highly recommend going to Jinny's to get the dress of your dreams.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Jinny's. I tried a couple other salons in the Inland Empire (where I live) but a girlfriend said a trip to Jinny's would be worth it. Sure enough, I found my dress (huge selection of Maggie Sotteros!) and the staff was very helpful and fun to work with. The alterations lady, Margot, is also great. Definitely recommend to all future southern CA brides!

Suffice to say I am probably the pickiest broad on the planet... I had a mental picture of what I wanted and I wasn't very open to trying anything different. Thanks to some gentle prodding from Jinny herself, I did try on several dresses I never would have tried on my own... And I found & fell in love with a dress the first time I walked into Jinny's.

The price was unbeatable, and they had my size in stock. I didn't even need any alterations. I was amazed.

She wasn't pushy at all and didn't try to make me buy a veil or anything. I liked that.

Picking out a dress was one of the most difficulty parts of planning the wedding. I tried dresses on at 4 different stores and Jinny's was the BEST in terms of value and service. Victoria helped me try on all the dresses I thought would look good and even gave some of her own suggestions. I tried a lot of dresses and Victoria was very patient with me. I did not find anything I really liked the first time, however the second time I went, there were new gowns and one of them I picked for my wedding. Each time I went, Victoria was supportive and nice. She gave great suggestions for accessories as well.

Jinny's had a wide variety and great selection of dresses compared to other stores. I would definitely suggest coming here first so you can make comparisons to other stores. The prices are awesome as well! Just be sure to leave some money aside for alterations.

I had a blast. They have a wide selection so it was easy to chose. I had an hour appointment but ended up being there for almost 3 hours as I found my dress and they didn't mind and didn't try to kick me out like other dress stores. They were fun, understood what I wanted and helped me find my perfect dress at a very agreeable price. On another note I had brought 7 people with me and they love it and let people grab dresses for me. It was a fun day!

If you are a bride, go to Jinny's Bridal. Make an appointment and bring a couple of your bridesmaids and/or your mom.

Marina is so awesome with her thick southern accent and she really wants you to look and feel your best. She let me pick a few and asked what type of dress I liked...she said she was going to pick something fabulous for me. I tried on that fabulous dress and it was the one! It was the Monet by Maggie Sottero. Ugh it is so gorgeous I could cry all over again. I tried on a few others just to be sure but nothing compared so I guess Marina knows her stuff.

I also got my hair comb and earrings at the store.

Elizabeth does the alterations and is awesome and really sweet!

Had to pay for steaming and fluffing but that was expected.

Overall, I had a great experience at Jinny's. This will be your one stop ladies!

I got the priviledge of working with Jinny herself! She was great! Very patient and flexible. I had gone dress shopping so many times with so many different people! In the end, I decided to go by myself. I was SOOO indecisive! Jinny was there with me to talk me through my options and keep me within budget. She helped me completely customize a Casablanca 1858 into my perfect wedding dress! Every measurement she did for me was perfect - I changed the dress into a corset back and did a custom height measurement. My wedding dress fit our vintage Alice in Wonderland theme while staying classy!

Well i think i put Jinny's to the test. My dress came completely botched from the designer (not a fault of Jinny's at all, the manufacturer) and Jinny worked with me personally and found the BEST alterations specialist! She pretty much took my dress apart and put it back together! It looked better than the sample once i got it back!

Jinny is amazing! I found my dress at another location at a very high price and called her to see if she could get it for me. She did - and at a much lower cost! She didn't carry the dress in the store so it was a special order but it came faster than expected, her team was amazing, and the service was great!

I also ordered all of my bridesmaids dresses through her as well. They came on time and looked great, but I do think the sizing of the dresses was off. Not sure if this was due to the designer or the designer's sizing chart.

Unfortunately, I did a portion of my alterations with her alterations team. This is where I was not happy and I had to take a star off for this.

But over all, trying on dresses at her shop was the most positive experience that I have ever had! Thank you Jinny!

I'm originally from cali but relocated to houston for my husband. All my family is still in cali so when I was down visiting my mother wanted me to find my dress with her in cali. Jinny's was the first place we looked and last. My dress was the last one I tried on and I fell in love. I had budgeted $1500 for a dress and found mine for $720. It had gorgeous beading and a long trail just simply elegant. I loved it! I don't remember the young woman who helped me, I believe it was Nikki, but anyways she was so sweet and helpful. This small boutique is more than it appears from first look. The collection of dresses available fit any and every one's style. Instead of a few dress in ten to twenty sizes, they have hundreds of styles to choose from. And the alterations crew literally can do magic!

I love Jinny's! The woman helping me suggested a dress that I might like and it turned out to be the one I ended up buying. Great value and good service. I did have one appointment where the sales person helping me didn't record my appointment with the seamstress. The owner, Jinny, quickly corrected the situation and gave me free dress pressing. I purchased my wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses from Jinny's. My bridal consultant was Marina Thomas, and she was FABULOUS!

I had an idea of what I wanted, but wasn't liking a lot of what I was finding out there. I visited Jinny's with a friend who had been there before, and my experience was WAY different than other shops.

At David's Bridal, I had a teenage girl trying to get me to buy a dress on sale the first time I was there. She was really pushy, not very nice, and when she realized I wasn't buying, got major attitude. I also went to Mary Me Bridal. Service was a tad better, but not a lot. Dresses were expensive, and she wasn't getting my vision at all.

Jinny's was a really great experience!! Marina made it fun, let me say what I thought of each dress before she gave me her opinion, and made suggestions based on my vision, which lead me to a dress that I would have never tried on without her. I know this is biased, but I think my dress was the best dress I've ever seen :-)

When I had made a decision on the dress, I called all over southern California trying to find it cheaper. One guy originally said he would do it for 10% less, but in the end, couldn't come through. I went back to Jinny's and they were able to work with me on veil & alterations pricing so that I could keep everything in budget. They also helped me work it out in 2 payments so it wouldn't be a big up-front cost.

My only issue was that when I spoke with someone other than Marina or Jinny over the phone, I didn't always get a call back when they told me they would. But Marina & Jinny always did what they said they would, and went above & beyond to make me a satisfied bride!

Jinny's was so great for everything, that when my best friend had a major issue for her own wedding's bridemaid's dresses at a different shop, we called Jinny's and they took us right before closing and Marina & Jinny stayed late with us until my best friend found the exact dress/color/fabric she wanted. Emergency averted, thanks to Jinny & Marina!!

So far, I LOVE Jinny's Bridal! I found my wedding gown here, and due to some miscommunication, long story short, they gave me a discount on my wedding dress. They are also very open and flexible with their alterations and are going to "jazz" up my gown a little. Customer service is very friendly! The final product is still unknown, but I know they will do a great job.

I initially had a great experience at Jinny's after not having a great one at another. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called and the lady who helped me was so friendly. Pulled tons of dresses for me to try on and never rushed me. I fell in love with a dress and bought it leaving Jinny's thinking very highly of them then I had some issues...
First of all, my dress was not here when they said so when I called to check on the status they gave me a new date for a month later only to have them call me the next day telling me my dress was in and to come try it on. Very excited I went down there and it was not my dress! I was a bit panicked that they ordered me the wrong dress, they assured me that my dress was still on its way and they weren't really sure why I got a call. My dress came in a few weeks later it was the right dress.
Now as for alterations, I would NOT recommend them! Language barrier and expensive! And they screwed up my dress! I had ordered a belt to sew onto my dress to add a little something to it and she sewed it on crooked!! It was very noticeable, and everyone who was with me noticed it and she kept telling me it was fine! There were a few other issues, she wouldn't do something else to the dress I wanted done. I left the store in tears and frustrated! I called a few days later to tell them what happen and they said they would fix my dress, but I didn't want to go back and was afraid to leave my dress with them again! After I read some reviews, apparently I wasn't the only one who had a problem with the seamstress. The store is FULL of amazing dresses, the staff is very friendly and I would recommend someone to get their dress from Jinny's but I would not recommend getting your alterations done there!

I loved Jinny's Bridal, but I must say I had a strange experience when I went two days before my wedding to pick my dress up after it was to be pressed. The younger front desk clerk took a long time in the back and proceeded to come back and tell me (a bride in 2 days) she thinks they lost my dress. It turned out ok, but I'm not your "bridezilla" type...if someone else had heard that news I'm not sure they would have been very calm. Otherwise they have a great selection and I love their seamstresses.

They were very helpful and accommodating while selecting my dress. I told them exactly how much I wanted to pay and they didn't pressure me to spend more. I also only had 10 weeks before the wedding and Jinny got the dress to me early. The only problem I had was with the alterations - but you could go somewhere else.

The best place to get everything of the attire done. They have the cutiest and prettiest wedding dresses, veils, shoes and they even have a vendor that comes and sells jewelry and makes the jewelry to go with your dress at reasonable prices no more than $100. They have shoes and do the dyalbe shoes, too. The customer service is great the alterations was a bit pricey, but overall great experience, i've already referred people there and they too got their dress there and loved the place.

My review is for my gown alternation experience at Jinny's. I bought my wedding gown from a store in San Diego and brought to Jinny's in Huntington Beach because I live in Orange County. Also my friend who recently was married highly recommended Alicia to me. I'm glad I listened to my friend. Alicia was the most friendly seamstress I talked to while price shopping. She also ended up being the cheapest for the alterations I needed. My dress was a size 2 and needed to be shrunk down to a 0, with neckline modifications and a bustle. She was skillful and smart, and came up with creative ways to make my dress look gorgeous on me. The scooped sweatheart neckline she added made the dress look more modern. The bustle design was complicated yet so beautiful that so many people commented on it. Alicia met me as many times as necessary to get my gown fit. She completed the work she promised at every appointment. She followed my instructions and made my gown exactly the way I wanted. She was a simply amazing person.

One thing I think the store itself can improve is appointment management. I had to wait an hour for one of my appointments although I arrived on time. They can get really busy sometimes. Regardless of that, I was very happy with Alicia. Thank you Alicia!

Jinny's had great prices. Marina was very helpful in finding the perfect dress. I had a short engagement and Jinny was able to get my dress in 3 weeks! I did have some problems with my veil. They forgot to order it, and when I followed up 2 weeks later I had a hard time getting someone to return my calls. When I finally spoke to someone who was willing to help she had my veil in a week. Great prices and selection, just make sure you follow up with them.

Jinny's Bridal was so easy to work with. I came in looking for one specific gown (they were the only one in a 50 mile radius to carry it). I went in only expecting to try on that one gown, but they had me try one two more. Wouldn't you know, I ended up buying one they had picked out for me. They were great. I got my wedding dress there and the salesladies were for the most part friendly, and were all very helpful. The hem of my wedding dress was crooked, and Jinny took care of contacting the company and having them pay for the alterations. The top of the dress was too low for my comfort, and they really did everything to make sure I would be comfortable and happy with my dress. They patiently went over all of my options with me and one of the alterations ladies ended up taking leftover beads and fabric that she had from doing other alterations and adding that to my dress. It really ended up looking ever better than the original, which she assured me it would. Jinny's showed me the true mark of great customer service - being helpful and maintaining professionalism, even friendliness, when there are problems!

All the people at Jinny's are very sweet and kind, the bridal gowns are beautiful and an amazing value. My only complaint was that it is a busy store and even with an appointment you could find yourself talking over several other brides. Also they never called when my dress finally came in so it was a bit of a scare to find that it had been sitting there for nearly a month! But the dress was lovely and pressed to a T when the day came.

After reading up on dress shopping before hand, I was terrified that every bridal salon was full of awful employees dead set on ripping me off. Jinnys was the opposite of my expectations! Cheri was my consultant and she was awesome! She picked out a dress for me that I would have NEVER tried on and I loved it 10x more than the ones I went there to try. I went back later for that dress and ended up finding the Maggi CapriMarie, which is what I bought. She was friendly and helpful and even gave me a discount on the dress because they were having a Maggie trunk show the next weekend - I didnt even know about the trunk show and would have never known, but she just offered it us. The dress came in right when they said it would and they didnt pressure me at all to get my alterations done there. On top of all that, they had the best price for my dress that I saw anywhere. Jinnys was a totally great experience on every level.

I looked all over San Diego to find my dress. I wanted something that wasn't too formal for my beach wedding. Jinny's was great, got my dress here fast and wasn't overwhelming, but had a great selection.

Excellent place to get a dress. No one would have guessed my dress cost $417!!! They all thought it cost at least 4,000!! I did have a little trouble with one of the saleswoman who had an attitude, but for the most part they're all wonderful. I recommend the lady who's from georgia.

I loved my dress, but it wasnt what I envisioned picking out. Marina was great assisting me with selecting and trying on dresses, she is a gem. I only looked at Jinny's because I was sold after trying on 7 or so dresses. I chose the third dress I tried on. They have flexible appointments for evenings, so I was always able to go after work. I was frustrated that I wasnt called when my dress came in - I called becuase I was expecting and waiting for it, and told it had arrived a day earlier. I only needed minor alterations, a bustle and boob cups, so I really can't comment on the alterations side. When i picked my dress up after steaming it looked a little wrinkled and the girl re-steamed the area right then. Theres often a slight wait, but if you're not impatient you will get very friendly service and a great gown for a great price.

I was very very happy with my dress and the cost was only a little over budget (after buying the dress, alterations, and steaming...phew). I was however a little stressed out and a bit frustrated with the employees. For the most part the were helpful but it seemed like they were all over the place and kinda said what I wanted to hear a lot. So go in relaxed and try to just do things yourself...

When my mom and I went shopping for wedding dresses, we went to every shop in the area possible. Because I had been to so many shops, I immediately knew Jinnys Bridal was the place I wanted to buy my dress from. The girls were very friendly, acoomodating, helpful and truthful. I didnt really know what I wanted and spent hours trying on dress after dress and even going back to some dresses to try them on again. When I tried on the one, I was able to take a picture so that I could sleep on my decision. The prices at Jinnys are very competitive (for both bridal gowns and bridesmaids gowns) and turn-around times are quick. Even though my wedding was over a year away, I ordered my dress and it came in 3 weeks later! I choose to order my bridesmaids dresses from there also. I had no idea what I wanted and went into the shop numerous times to try to figure out what style and color would be best for my wedding. I explained my theme and was given suggestions. In the end, I choose Mori Lee long lipstick shade dresses. I never would have thought the color would look good, but the girls at the shop suggested it and they were right!

The staff at Jinny's was very friendly for the most part. I had an older women for my appointment and she was very attentive and helpful. I found the perfect dress and an amazing price! They have some great deals, on sample dresses. They however do not work with you much on bridesmaids dresses. I also got my fitting done there, it was very reasonably priced. The turn around time was about a week, granted I didn't have much alterations to do. I would and have recommended this shop to friends. I have had 4 friends all get dresses at Jinny's

Jinny's is amazing! I had been there twice before for two friends of mine, and they had both had great experiences. So of course I went there first. Their selection is phenomenal and their prices are really good for what they have. They were very helpful throughout the process. The only thing is that they are super busy, especially on the weekends. I called a couple of times to ask a question and I got bounced from person to person. But if you're patient with them, they are experts at what they do. Elizabeth who does alterations is amazing... and so sweet!

Jinny's has a GREAT selection of dresses, and the women there are VERY helpful when you're looking for your dress...or looking to fit INto your dress! (Ask about the "2 person slip," it will change your LIFE! Or at least your wedding day. WOW.)

However, the follow up could use some improvement. When I received a call saying my dress had arrived, I had to wait over 30 minutes the day I was going for my fitting (even though I had an appointment).

I'm also sad to say the seamstress is mediocre at best. I had a gorgeous crystal belt I wanted sewn to my dress (and was very specific about it), and when I came for my final fitting (10 days before my wedding), she had merely cut it and clipped the back together with a snap. I was NOT happy, but she said there was nothing to be done. I was horrified, but I couldn't let that ruin my big day. (And it was fine from the front. *sigh*)

It started out as a great experience and I went to MANY places to find the "perfect dress," but I'm sad to say you might be better off getting the dress tailored elsewhere.

I got a great deal and found my perfect dress at Jinny's. Because I needed a shorter length, my dress had to be special ordered, but Jinny made sure I had my dress in plenty of time. I would highly recommend Jinny's to any of my friends!

Dress was gorgeous and at a great price, associates are helpful. However, when the alterations were made, the bustle was very poorly done and broke before my first dance making it impossible to dance more than swaying.

Great selection and I found a dress that worked for me for less than 700 bucks (before alterations). Everything was great despite the mixed reviews that I heard about this place. With that said, I would recommend this place because they seem to know what they're talking about and are helpful.

Selection and prices are FABULOUS. Alterations is just okay. She tried to cut corners a bit in my dress, but fixed it in the end without charge. Overal, I'm pleased and would definitely recommend. My dress was 50% off because it was a floor sample!

I bought my dress here and I loved the dress. The shop is no frills which is nice because you can pick out the dresses you want to try on yourself, but it is always busy so the person helping you will be helping at least one or two other people at the same time.

I love the dress that I was able to get through this boutique. It was straight off of the runway and it was gorgeous. I didn't have any issues with this vendor until my dress came in. It turns out that the boutique inventoried my dress wrong, so they ordered me the wrong size. They were not very willing to help me even though it was employee error. Eventually (after a lot of talking with the store owner) Jinny agreed to pay for a part of the alterations that were needed, but she did not really address the problem and I was stuck with paying for the majority of their mistakes. I am still glad that I purchased my dress from this boutique, but they were not always the easiest to deal with.

I shopped around a lot before purchasing my dress and Jinny's had the best value for your dress. However they were not very helpful with helping me determine the size dress I should buy, I was between sizes and probably should have bought a size smaller dress. They also were not as responsive to my questions after I purchased my dress. My bridesmaids also purchased their dresses with Jinny's. Some of the girls were not able to come in for a fitting and they had difficulty with submitting their measurements.

I bought my wedding dress at Jinny's. The staff was really nice and helpful. The girl that helped me was pretty young, but she was so willing and eager to help me find the right dress. She made me feel completely comfortable. She brought me a bunch of different dresses, ones that I wanted to try and and some that she liked too. I ended up buying one that she suggested! It was beautiful and a great price!
Once that was done, it was on to alterations. The seamstress was a sweetheart and very diligent in making sure I go the right fit, but they weren't cheap alterations. Add on another $200! Also, the schedule for fittings isn't very flexible. You can only go during certain times of the week.
But I have to say, the dress fit me perfectly!
Next order of business was having the dress steamed... Another charge though!
I was scheduled to pick up my steamed dress 2 days before the wedding. When I went to get it, they hadn't even steamed it yet! I had to leave and go back a few hours later. So inconvenient 2 days before the wedding.

I apparently escaped some of the stress and heartache that some brides have gone through with Jinny's Bridal in the past. I worked with Marina, who is pretty straight forward and blunt, which may seem offensive to some people but not to me. She allowed me to pick stuff to try on myself, but also chose a couple of style for me which I would not have picked out myself, and one of which I ultimately ended up choosing because it just looked so good on me. I went dress shopping with only 6 or 7 weeks left before the wedding, so ordering was not an option for me. I was undecided between 2 dresses, but one I had to order (and they could only order one for me that would be 2 sizes too big so that would be alterations galore!), and the other I could buy off the rack but just needed to be cleaned and one of the corset loops needed to be fixed. I kept the reviews I had seen about this place in mind and decided to go with the off-the-rack dress. They offered to clean and fix it for me at no charge, which they did. Because the dresses have no labels or tags, I will never know if I overpaid for the dress, but at this point I don't care anymore. I would recommend them but with caution.

I picked my dress from the Casablanca 2006 or 2007 line, so I knew it was going to be hard to find that dress in the store to try on. I called a couple places with no luck and then I called Jinny. An older man picked up the phone the first time and then I was on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called back and Nikki picked up the phone. She searched for the dress on the floor and they had it! I went into the store which is a little dated and shabby looking - it needs to be updated to match the quality of dresses they have there!

They have a nice selection of low-medium priced dresses. Nikki was very helpful and I bought my dress the next day! Staff was friendly and they communicated well.

When looking at options of bridal stores, I initially had some major hesitation about going to Jinny's Bridal based on some of the reviews I had read online. It was especially important to find a great place, especially since I was buying my dress in a state I didn't live in. Since they had a mix of both horrible and great reviews, in the end I decided to give them a chance.

Bree was my assistant and she was amazing to work with. They didn't have everything that I was looking for, but Bree was helpful in finding some alternatives. I ended up finding a dress I absolutely loved that was truly "me" and paid in full before leaving the store that day.

My issues did not occur until after I purchased my dress. For starters, I let them know that since I was looking 6 months before my wedding, I would perhaps need a dress that could be rush ordered. I wasn't advised until 4 days after I purchased my dress that it could not be rush ordered and was not expected to ship to Jinny's Bridal until 3 weeks before my wedding (and it still needed to be altered once it got to me).

I called to check ship dates for the first time in September and was told they would work on getting an update from the vendor and that I should call back in October. When I called back in October I learned that they had never contacted the vendor in September. After my first call in October, I continued to follow up weekly. When I was told that I would be called back with an update, no one called. When I called the store one time I was left on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up. When I called back to let them know I was told "oh sorry! I forgot about you!" which is not something that any anxious bride wants to hear.

In the end, my dress arrived with enough time for alterations. Jinny's Bridal has a great selection of gowns, but they do have some major issues with their attention to detail and customer service. If customer service is not important, I would highly recommend them.

I had a few issues with Jinny's. Dress took 2 months longer than expected; then took 2 weeks for them to call me to notify me my dress was in. They are not upfront about prices, will not take blame for any error on their part and some of their staff is rude. I showed up 3 hours late to pick up the dress from being pressed/steamed and it still was not ready. For the amount of money you drop at this place I expect much more.

My sister got her dress from Jinny's so that was one of the first places I looked. I feel in love with the dress and loved Marina, but that was about all the good that came out of the experience. I had to call several times to find out the status of the alterations. The alterations lady was reluctant to do what I asked and charged WAY too much!!

I purchased a discontinued dress which was a great deal, but prior to getting to that point, I had some issues with Jinny as I was in the searching process. I felt rushed every time I went in there and she'd say one thing and then a few minutes later say something totally different. I also ordered my veil through them from another company. The veil turned out nice. All in all, I had an ok experience, but maybe if I was working with another consultant it would have been better for me. Once I had my veil and dress in hand, I was thrilled to be out of there. I had my dress altered else where. Brides, do your homework and don't settle.

During my wedding planning, I found what is equally important about finding that perfect gown is working with a knowledgeable and personable sales consultant who is always looking out for you. MARINA at Jinny’s Bridal did just that for me. She was very helpful in the whole process – from finding the right silhouette for my body type to making sure my gown is in perfect condition for the wedding day. Marina is always there for me and I can always count on her. If you visit Jinny’s Bridal, please do yourself a favor – ask for MARINA and no one else. She is the best one there. She is better than Jinny, the owner herself. Marina actually treats you how a customer is supposed to be treated. Also, don’t even waste your time dealing with Jinny’s husband or her daughter. You most likely will see them on weekends. The daughter, especially, is so clueless and is very obvious that she does not even want to be there. Marina herself would warrant a 4.5 rating. But Jinny's Bridal the store is only a 3-star rating IMO.

Out of all the people I worked with for my wedding, I was most disappointed with Jinny's. The staff is very friendly (they get an A+ in that category) but their customer service is lacking. I had to make three appointments before I was actually able to get a seamstress to look at me in the dress—for one appointment, they lost the scheduling book and we arrived, but the seamstress had left already (and we had driven 45 minutes to get there). When we finally did meet with the seamstress, the hem was too long, so the bridal shop sent it back to the manufacturer (across the country) by ground the week before the wedding without asking us (we had paid in full already). That was definitely a panic moment. After that, we tried to work without the shop as much as possible, working instead directly with the manufacturer and seamstress (who was excellent) to get the dress back and fitted before the wedding. Jinny's has beautiful dresses and a friendly staff, but I would not recommend them.
