We had such a wonderful time working with Jillian to create our ceremony. We are not religious and did not want a family member to officiate so we searched sites for officiants, and from the very first few minutes speaking with Jillian, we knew she was going to be great. She was so easy to work with, communicative and gave such great advice. She knows her stuff! We were pretty anxious about the ceremony - trying to figure out what we wanted and be able to accurately portray that through our ceremony - and Jillian gave us great content to work with. We selected Option B with her, and so she helped us craft and edit our ceremony, but also allowed us to really dive in and edit to our hearts content. What we came up with together truly portrayed what this marriage means to us. On the day, Jillian was super flexible to start about 10 mins early because a very stray thunderstorm was threatening our outdoor ceremony. She executed the ceremony flawlessly and helped us with the cues. We highly recommend Jillian to anyone who wants a beautiful, flawlessly executed ceremony! -

We hired Jillian on a recommendation from our wedding planner and we are so glad we did! Jillian was an absolute joy to work with and did an incredible job crafting our wedding ceremony. She took the time to get to know us through direct conversations with us and through conversations with some of our friends and family. She did a wonderful job of suggesting different options for different parts of the ceremony so that we could choose wording that felt genuine and meaningful to us, and she introduced us to some new ideas to incorporate into the ceremony that we enjoyed and appreciated. Many of our guests told us afterward that this was the best ceremony they’ve ever witnessed and we have Jillian to thank for that—her writing and delivery on the day-of were impeccable. We are so thrilled to have had Jillian officiate our wedding and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant who will deliver a thoughtful and meaningful ceremony. -

Perfect Ceremony
Jillian was a pleasure to work with and she absolutely nailed the vibe and tone of our ceremony. We wanted something honest and sweet but not too sappy and she did such a great job, I received so many complements from our guests. I loved that she met with us twice prior to the wedding and interviewed a handful of our friends and family to really get to know us. We also went with her suggestion for a modernized version of a handfasting in place of the ring exchange and it worked perfectly for us! Could not recommend her enough -

She gave us our perfect ceremony!
We were really nervous choosing an officiant and were having trouble finding someone that we trusted, until we met Jillian. From the first phone call we knew she Was the right person to make our wedding official! She was sweet, easy to talk to and an absolute pleasure to work with. She offered a few different options of ceremonies and we opted for the most personalized version where she would send our family and friends questions to get a better idea of who we were, and I cannot recommend that option enough! Our ceremony was super personalized, beautifully written, and made us feel so special. She spoke with so much affection towards us that our friends and family could not believe we met only a few months earlier! -

The one thing me and my new husband have always said is that Jillian felt like a long distance friend to us! She is so kind and caring and really wants to give you a one of a kind ceremony and that is exactly what she got. It was so personal and personalised to us. She got to know us extremely well, asked us lots of nice questions and it just felt like she was so happy and proud to get you married even though we had never met.
We had postponed for 2 years due to Covid, but Jillian stuck with us throughout all the date swapping and just generally checked in with us to make sure everything was ok.
Jillian, you are such a kind and caring person with a heart of gold and we couldn’t have wished for anyone better to marry us!!! Thank you :) -

I really can't say enough good things about Jillian as a wedding officiant. She was absolutely excellent about every part of the planning process and made our ceremony so beautiful and touching, I still have guests telling me how amazing it was. From beginning to end, Jillian helped us through the process, taking the time to meet with us in a coffee shop as we told her our full story. She laid out several different ways we could have our ceremony, and workshopped with us closely each part to make sure it was absolutely perfect. She was completely open to suggestions, and because she took the extra time to get to know us, she absolutely nailed who we are as a couple, what was important to us, and what we wanted our union to be about. Because I come from a religious family but didn't quite want a religious ceremony, Jillian was incredibly understanding and adaptive, and found ways to integrate my religion and my family into the ceremony so everyone was included. I couldn't have asked for a better overall turnout, and I couldn't recommend Jillian more highly! -

We feel so lucky to have had Jillian officiate our wedding. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted, and Jillian really took the time to understand us and guide us through the process in a way that made it feel approachable. She spent a lot of time learning about our relationship and wrote this beautiful, personal story that tied the ceremony together. My family was overseas and unfortunately had to watch the ceremony on Zoom due to COVID. Jillian found ways to bring them into the ceremony and made them feel a part of what was happening, which was incredibly touching and meant the world to them. After the ceremony, several people asked us how we knew Jillian. They had assumed she was a close friend given how warm, personal, and meaningful the ceremony was. It's something we'll never forget. I can't recommend Jillian enough. -

Ms. Buckley was highly professional. She was on time and very kind. I would high recommend her and hopefully will to anyone getting married. She was so patient with me and waited for us even though we started a little late. She ask me what I wanted and how we wanted things to happen. I was so nervous, but then her presence is so calming. I highly recommend her to anyone. I did not regret my decision -

Engaging and Thoughtful Officiant
After a year of COVID postponements and cancelations, my fiancé and I decided to do an intimate outdoor ceremony in Brooklyn.
Jillian was everything we could have hoped for in an officiant. She was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. She took her time to get to know us and provided us with many wonderful ideas to tailor our ceremony into something that was unique and meaningful. We really appreciated that she brought her own ideas to the table but was also open to our own.
The day of the ceremony Jillian was equally as brilliant. She was professional in every sense, yet also warm and engaging, something we really valued with having such a small group. She provided not only a critical services for our wedding but was a significant part of making it memorable and special.

Jillian officiated our wedding this past fall, and I felt like she really listened to the things that my partner and I thought were important. What we wanted was non-traditional, and Jillian really took time to listen and help us curate the perfect special small ceremony. Jillian was an essential part of our wedding ceremony. We met with her weeks before the date to discuss logistics and so that she could learn a bit more about what type of ceremony we wanted. She asked us really thought provoking questions about our relationship which for us cemented that we were making the right decision. She was paid close attention to details and was very responsive throughout the entire process of co creating our ceremony. She gave us suggestions and was open to us finding various pieces of the ceremony on our own. On the actual date she was a wonderful officiant. It's hard to describe in words but she made it so that my only focus was on my Husband and our commitment to one another. It was actually perfect. -

Jillian was absolutely amazing!!!
Jillian truly went above and beyond when it came to our wedding ceremony. Due to COVID, we decided to move our celebration to a later date, but still wanted to get married in a small, intimate ceremony. After reaching out to Jillian and speaking to her for the first time, we knew she was the perfect officiant. She is incredibly personable and we were touched by how she took the time to get to know us and our story. Her ability to write and build out our ceremony exactly how we envisioned it was superb. She is responsive, flexible and her kindness and positive energy made our experience with her excellent. I highly recommend working with Jillian to any couple looking to tie the knot! Simply put, Jillian is amazing! My husband and I interviewed many officiants and were about to give up and settle. We spoke to Jillian over the phone first and felt a connection. We liked that she offered to meet with us in person. During this meeting, we immediately knew that we wanted Jillian to be our officiant. She didn’t once pressure us into committing to her and she simply used the meeting to talk about her experiences and to get to know us a little better. After signing with her, Jillian met with us again and asked us many more questions about our relationship. She exuded a comforting energy that allowed us both to be open with her. Additionally, she contacted our friends/family to get more information about us for a bespoke marriage story. In the end, we were so happy with the content that she came up with! Jillian made our ceremony very special and unique with our marriage story. Our family and friends commented on how beautiful our ceremony was. If you want an officiant who truly cares and listens to your wants/needs for your ceremony then you definitely can’t go wrong with Jillian! -

Amazing!!!!!
Jillian was absolutely the best! She has a very positive and comforting energy about her. She met up with me and my now husband at a coffee shop to ask some questions and get to know us. From there she created the best opening statement telling our love story. I highly recommend her to everyone! -

She is absolutely amazing!
I am so happy that we chose Jillian to be the officiant at our wedding. My husband is shy when meeting new people and she made us both feel extremely comfortable when communicating with her. Jillian is so easy to work with. She responds very quickly and clearly. She helped explain how the ceremony timeline works which was great, because it definitely helped lower the stress level. I completely trusted her to use her judgement in writing our ceremony script. Jillian is a talented writer and really knows how to make words come together. I absolutely LOVE that she didn't judge us when I asked if we could incorporate Harry Potter into our script. She was very open to the idea and I can tell worked very hard to make that happen. She went above and beyond to research and give further ideas of how we can play Harry Potter into our wedding ceremony. Jillian was friendly, professional and just had an overall great personality to bond with. I've attended weddings where the officiant's vibe is "just another wedding" but with Jillian it is the total opposite. Jillian actually shows she cares, makes it unique and is truly happy for her clients and wants the best for them. -

Couldn't have asked for better!
Jillian was super, at every stage of the process. From the initial phone call, she immediately reassured my questions and was warm, welcoming and easy to talk to. We weren’t really sure how to structure the ceremony, having no clear denominational preference, and again Jillian came through, giving us options as she helped us figure out what might work for us. More than anything however, it was a pleasure to have such a positive and joyful presence at the ceremony. Totally professional but never at the expense of personal warmth; we couldn’t recommend Jillian highly enough. -

We got married on September 1, 2019 with Jillian being our ceremony officiant. As soon as we booked her service after the initial call, she sat down with us in person to better understand our expectation for the ceremony. Jillian then helped us personalized the entire ceremony flow, including a few special requests to incorporate Chinese cultural elements such as a tea serving ceremony. She even practiced a Mandarin blessing just for us!!! The day we finally met Jillian prior to the ceremony she was so calm and elegant that our parents immediately felt at ease. Our guests were all super impressed by the cultural elements which we couldn't have accomplished without Jillian's patient advices. Jillian was amazing from the beginning. My husband and I had interviewed with several officiants before choosing her . She was immediately responsive, understanding and willing to look at our idiosyncratic needs as a couple. We wanted a blend of the traditional and unconventional. She completely heard what our wants were and crafted a beautiful ceremony. She spent 2 hours with us to get information for a wedding story that was shared during the ceremony. When we read the draft we cried out of happiness because it was just so perfectly us. She interviewed two friends to get their thoughts and outside perspectives on this too which was very thoughtful. During the ceremony she was clear, passionate and organized. We had so many people come up to us after telling us how wonderful she was and asking us if she was our friend prior because she understood us so well. It was really what made our ceremony so special. We can't thank her enough. THANK YOU JILLIAN! I was so happy to be able to write this testimonial for you . Cam Sent on 10/14/2018I would give Jillian 6 stars if I could. She was INCREDIBLE -- truly the best officiant we've ever encountered in the many weddings we've attended, and we're so glad we had her for ours. She really is a beautiful soul.
Jillian didn't work from a stock template, and really got to know us and our family members. And she absolutely got us as people, capturing our values and hopes, working across our different families' faiths (Evangelical Christian and Spiritual), and even adapted on the fly to last minute changes (including the bride's sister passing out!).
Jillian is a gem. Jillian is a calming presence among all the crazy things that happen leading up to the day (and there were many). Jillian helped us center ourselves and remain focused on the love between us, letting that be our guiding light instead of the many outside opinions and inputs from family and friends. She really makes you feel heard, valued, and excited about your special day.
Do not go further! Book her for your wedding! Stop looking now. :) -

April Sent on 07/04/2018Jillian comes highly recomended by Chetan and I for sure!!! She was such a dream to work with. Immediately put us at ease, listened, took notes as to what we wanted. She reached out to our friends to get some inside scoop to make the ceremony so intimate and just perfect. Her communication was great, she even check in with us the night before to make sure we weren't too nervous! (We weren't :)) ). Her pricing is also very fair, and we also appreciated that. Linnea Sent on 11/21/2017Jillian was a fantastic officiant, both flexible and professional. We were a little daunted by figuring out where to start planning a ceremony. Jillian provided helpful guidance and resources that we found helpful for getting started and that helped us have a greater awareness of some of the things couples do to make their ceremony feel like their own. We ended up having a very large ceremony with a lot of unique, creative, non-traditional steps to it (we walked-in at the same time, had an audience-participatory ribbon-tying event, singing in two languages, and tied it all off with a hand fasting knot instead of rings). Jillian was very accommodating of all our plans for the ceremony and last minute additions!
