We booked DJ Mistry for a Sangeet night. He was amazing to work with! From helping me understand different options, to being easy to reach, he was great to work with. He helped me book a package that best fit my needs - we opted for DJ, lighting, and monogram projection and were very happy with all the services. He was responsive to messages, answered all my questions and worked well with the venue. The week of the event he was available to go through last minute details. We had a blast performing dances and our guests really enjoyed the open dance floor. He also helped us book a dhol player for another event we enjoyed the service. Would highly recommend DJ Mistry! -

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to bring the energy to our wedding! From the moment the music started, our guests were on their feet, dancing the night away. The blend of Indian beats with EDM, and Rap was perfect — it created an electric atmosphere that felt true to us! Oh and the addition of the dhol was a major hit!
The DJ truly knew how to read the crowd, ensuring that everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, was having an incredible time. The fusion of Bollywood, Bhangra, and Western hits was a huge hit, and our guests were raving about the playlist long after the celebration ended. It was all upbeat and dance music like we wanted - it felt like a club!!!
He was super interactive and personable. He kept the energy up all night and everyone had an absolute blast! -

We had the extreme privilege of working with Mehul as our DJ for our wedding last month. When I tell you he had EVERYONE on the dance floor all night - I truly mean it. From the start, Mehul had a sincere and genuine interest in all the details for our wedding, sharing where his team could add the most value along the way. He is so kind and easy to work with, and has a wide breadth of expertise, connections and experience. We changed our package with Mehul more than once, going back and forth on additional elements we wanted to add or remove, and he was so patient throughout it all. It was so important to my family to have a dholki for our home events, and Mehul was able to secure not one but two for us to rent for the week. When it came to the wedding weekend itself, I was very open with Mehul about how important it was to me to honor the song requests I shared and he did so with grace, reassuring me that he is there to make our night the best possible for us - and he truly did. Starting with the baraat, Mehul and his team really made sure to bring the right vibes and energy — my husband is not Indian, and it was his family and friends’ first time experiencing a baraat. Everyone from my Indian family told me it was the best baraat they’d seen! Mehul helped call forward people to dance with my husband and his family, and helped everyone understand what it was about, while keeping the party going. Our ceremony and first dance went so smoothly, and then when it came time to the open dancing, I am not exaggerating when I say it was the best experience and beyond anything I could have hoped for! My family is very picky about music, and everyone came up to me to tell me how amazing my DJ was - family friends were screaming “this DJ is FIRE!!!” And someone actually blew him a kiss to thank him for how great he was mixing everything. We asked Mehul to balance Indian, Persian and American music with our 50 song requests and his mixes — he did so flawlessly. My cousins even took a selfie with him at the end of the night (attached!) to show how much they enjoyed his work. Truly, we are so lucky to have worked with Mehul for our wedding - and his kindness extends beyond the needs of the event. He even connected me with another bride he worked with because I asked if I could talk to her, seeing they had their wedding at the same venue as we were going to have ours. He ensured the lighting and audio quality was top knotch, and all around, gave us an incredible experience at our reception. Thank you Mehul! We cannot recommend him highly enough! -

We are incredibly grateful to have had Mehul, aka DJ Mistry, as our wedding weekend DJ! From the very beginning, he was not only friendly but also exceptionally easy to work with and flexible. When I made a few last-minute changes, he accommodated them with ease and enthusiasm.
His music selection was nothing short of amazing, keeping the crowd energized and dancing all night long. As our emcee for two nights, he truly knows how to hype up the audience! He expertly DJ'd our welcome party, baraat, wedding, and reception, seamlessly navigating the unique spaces of our outdoor Napa wedding. Despite the spread-out venues, he handled everything with remarkable skill and professionalism.
Every important track was perfectly timed, and we encountered zero issues throughout the entire event. He even made the most epic mixes for my bridesmaids/bride performance and my bridal entry!! More than just a DJ, DJ Mistry became a true friend to us. His kindness and passion for his craft really shone through, making our special day even more unforgettable.

As a couple, the one thing we wanted to make sure that our wedding had was an amazing DJ and Jhakaas Entertainment's DJ Mistry did not fail to deliver. He answered all of our questions and patiently worked with us to set us up for success. During the wedding weekend, DJ Mistry kept the party alive and several of our closest friends came up to us to compliment the music. DJ Mistry also worked with us to include a couple personal touches to the wedding like a surprise bridal entrance song and a remixed Mangal Phera song. We highly recommend DJ Mistry as the DJ for your next event. -

DJ Mistry is the absolute best! We originally hired Mehul because we knew we could trust him after he did our sister’s wedding over ten years ago. We knew having him fly from Arizona to San Diego, CA would be worth it but we never could’ve imagined how he would create the perfect atmosphere for each of our wedding events. We couldn't have made a better choice.
During the planning process, Mehul was remarkably responsive, organized and patient, always ensuring we stayed on track. He worked with us every step of the way, not only from the music we wanted for each event but he also helped curate everything from flooring to lighting and everything else in between. We felt that he made it his mission to make everything we could dream of truly come to life. In fact, we even decided to add an LED wall at our reception late in the process & he made it happen and provided creative suggestions that transformed our reception into an entirely new world. He made sure to be proactive with any provisions our venue required and had solutions to any obstacle that came up.
What truly set Mehul apart was his attention to detail and thoughtful surprises. From surprising us with a Dholi at our reception to suggesting twinkle lights for our LED background to blend into our curtains to being our biggest hype man at every event, he went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend truly magical.
Moreover, Mehul has not just been a DJ, but he has become family throughout this journey. It always brings a smile to our faces when Mehul texts to wish us on holidays or just to check in to see how we are doing. His warmth, professionalism, and dedication made us feel confident and relaxed on our special day. We are forever grateful for his incredible talent and friendship.

My wife and I got married in late 2023 and were lucky enough to have Mehul aka DJ Mistry at all of our events. He was not only an incredible DJ but also so kind and genuine and easy to work with. He was helpful throughout the entire process, giving us advice on other vendors and helping us in whatever small ways he could as neither my wife nor I am from Arizona. He was so low maintenance and chill that it made my wife and I feel so calm when we spoke to him.
Now for the actual DJing, he killed it. We had people coming up to us all weekend and since the wedding talking about how good his mixes were and asking for his info for the future. He brought a dholi to each event, all of his equipment, and arranged for a tabla player and violinist at our sangeet. He has connections to everything entertainment and can basically make anything happen.
Since our wedding, he has texted us for holidays, birthdays and other milestones. He’s just a genuinely good person!
My wife and I were adamant about working with vendors who not only were talented, but also fun to be around and Mehul nailed it. Highly highly recommend him for your event! -

We are so excited to share our experience with Mehul aka DJ Mistry. He played a huge role during our wedding events to the point that we had to write out a detailed review because he was that awesome.
Throughout all of our events, he understood the importance of Indian traditions and based on our pre-wedding phone calls, he catered the music to highlight all of the special moments that we wanted.
The Sangeet night started with a high energy Jago entrance that had everyone dancing from the start. The transitions were seamlessly mixed, reflecting DJ Mistry's expertise and dedication. He also offered a variety of lighting options which really helped with our outdoor evening event. His recommendations were so helpful. During the Baraat, he was able to hype up the crowd and it was the perfect start to the wedding day. At the reception, DJ Mistry really showcased his versatility. He was incredible - with his mixing between timeless classics, top hits, Bhangra bangers and hip hop, our dance floor was packed the entire night. His dholi was fire - from the baraat and the reception, our guests loved him and the duo was complemented the entire night.
One of the standout elements was the vinyl floor wrap at our reception. It was a unique aesthetic element and was a gorgeous dance floor that brought the décor all together. He worked with our decor team to make sure the colors complemented the rest of the room and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
When researching DJs for our wedding, we cared a lot about audio quality, as my husband was a former DJ back in his college/grad school days. Mehul gave us a huge surprise when he let my husband DJ a short set list during our reception. It was such a fun experience and all of our guests loved it, definitely a moment we won't forget! Look no further, because DJ Mistry's speakers + sub ensured that the music was crystal clear and we didn't have any hiccups with sound, microphones, or lighting.
DJ Mistry demonstrated a high level of professionalism, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to providing a memorable experience. He took the time to understand our needs and expectations, which was evident throughout our wedding weekend.

Both my husband and I are so glad we hired Mehul and his team to work with us to make our dream wedding come to life! We had talked to a few other teams in the area but Mehul’s professionalism and quick communication (especially via text since I am horrible at email) really sold us. He came with a great review from Ravi’s friend so that solidified it for us.
Mehul and his team did the music/lighting for our sangeet, wedding, and our reception. During the entire process I felt comfortable knowing that Mehul is an expert at what he does and would address any issues that may arise. Mehul has great music selection and was able to help us pick out more recent and fun Indian songs since both Ravi & I haven’t kept up much with the Indian music scene in the past 10 years.
I truly appreciate how honest and upfront he was on the things that would really take our events to the next level but stay within our budget. We had a pretty tight budget for lighting and Mehul was able to make great recommendations for us to ensure everything looked great. He went above and beyond for us. We were having a difficult time securing vendors since many of them were already booked and Mehul gave us suggestions for other vendors to reach out to.
We booked Mehul about 10 months out from our wedding and since day 1 he kept in touch with us sending frequent reminders and any ideas that he thought we would like. Up until the week before the wedding he was helping us add things to our contract and finalize everything.
Also shoutout to Adithya, who was the violinist for our wedding and cocktail hour. Our guests absolutely loved his talent and his ability to execute our song choices (especially gangsters paradise for one the entry’s). He also served as a last minute MC because we def dropped the ball on finding one.
Thank you for making our wedding weekend more than anything we could have imagined and keeping our guests on the dance floor until midnight! For anyone looking for a great DJ & entertainment team I highly recommend Mehul & team! -

TLDR: Mehul is an amazing guy, easy to work with, reasonably priced, flexible and has BOMB taste in music. He is a valuable addition to your wedding team and will not disappoint!
The novel: Our planner, Tejel, recommended Mehul to us as a DJ that she frequently worked with. From the first introduction, Mehul promptly worked with Arham and I to set up a virtual consultation and put together a contract for us to review within 24 hours. This was about 1 year prior to our scheduled wedding and before we had hired a decorator. Since our initial contract, we had hired a decorator and as our vision for the wedding came more to life, we were making additions to our contract up until 2 weeks before the wedding.
When we first hired Mehul, we limited our requests to music and lighting, but soon we realized he provides way more than that. When we were first considering an LED wall for our reception décor with our decorator, we thought we would have to find an alternate because it was pushing us over our budget. When we mentioned this to Mehul, he promptly started asking around was able to bring his team from AZ to LA for half the! Thanks to Mehul, our vision of having an LED wall to play our same day edit and having cool visuals during our open dance floor came to life!
2 weeks before the wedding, Mehul worked with us during crunch time to create amazing visuals for our reception. When he learned that we loved Marvel and wanted our grand entrance song to be a Tesher Avengers/Bhangra remix, he started working on an amazing Avengers themed entrance video using our logo and our names and it was AMAZING (can’t link the video here but check out his Instagram to watch it). We were shocked when we saw it and our guests went crazy! Mehul did this without any prompting and it made such a huge difference at our wedding.
Mehul makes BOMB mixes and has impeccable taste in music. He was able to play all the requested songs on our list with seamless transitions and kept our guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. People didn’t want the party to end even after midnight, and this was a crowd that woke up for a 7:30AM wedding that same day. His light show on the video wall made Arham and I feel like we were at a rave, which is exactly what we asked for!
Mehul possesses 15/10 communication skills. He responds to emails and text messages promptly, confirms receipt of payment instantaneously and is genuinely an awesome dude who is fun to talk to. Mehul is 100% the perfect addition to any event – he will work with you to provide the vibes you’re looking for and keep your audience happy and lit! We love working with Mehul and will hire him for any future events we have! -

We cannot say enough good thing things about Mehul! We had an Indian/Puerto Rican fusion wedding in Lake Tahoe and it was a LONG day. In fact, we were doubtful we'd get the dancefloor bumping so late at night because we thought our guests would be too tired. Mehul proved us wrong!! He had the dancefloor packed right up until the last minute, skillfully fusing both cultures in one amazing set. He was so easy to work with as we continued to refine our wedding day timeline/events leading up to the day. Such a great vibe. This was our second time trying to plan our wedding, after our first one was postponed because of the pandemic -- and without a doubt, our guests said the wait was worth it, if for no other reason than the dancefloor! Huge thank you to Mehul and his team. We took their advice at nearly every turn and it led to the most beautiful wedding!!! Thank you!! -

Mehul is amazing. Period. He DJ'd our multi-day Hindu / Jewish destination wedding in Scottsdale. He came highly recommended by my wedding planner and after our initial discussion, it was a no-brainer to go with Mehul. His list of services is extensive and he is so knowledgable.
For our Sangeet night, Mehul found professional dancers to perform and give a dance lesson to all our guests. Our guests loved it and everyone was on the dance floor all night after that. Mehul really knows how to pump up the crowd!
He played the dhol and provided music for our bharat which everyone raved about! For our reception, we had a 12 piece band and Mehul provided the sound system to accommodate them for their sets. It required detailed coordination in which he handled so well behind the scenes. He also provided lighting and cold sparklers (SO FUN). He played all the late night hits, the dance floor was packed and all of our guests complimented his work during and after our wedding.
It was a blast planning the music for the weekend with Mehul. He really listened to our wants and over delivered!! There were times leading up to the wedding where I was so swamped, missed a few things and Mehul was on top of it. He texted and helped me figure out everything I needed. He truly cares about his clients and I really appreciated that. On top of everything, he's a great person. He saw me walking back with my MOH in my heels and offered us a ride. It's the smallest details that makes the biggest impact. We were so happy with the way he made our vision come to life and highly recommend him for all your wedding needs. -

We loved working with DJ Mehul for our wedding! We had him for 4 events and also got a lot of our extras from him (sparklers, floor wraps, etc.). He was flexible with our schedule and all the changes, and extremely responsive. We live out of state and he was very easy to get in contact with (email, call and text). He kept the crowd super hype during the reception and listened to all of mine and my husband's wants and requests. Super friendly and just an awesome person all around. We'll miss working with him! -

We were introduced to Mehul through some mutual friends and he was very professional and friendly from the start. We ended up selecting another DJ purely based on our music style preferences, but since our DJ was from the East Coast and our wedding was on the West Coast, we needed some help sourcing audio and lighting equipment for our team. Mehul was more than willing to help us with the equipment, especially when we had to change our date due to COVID. His prices were very reasonable and he did a great job coordinating with our DJ & band to make sure they had everything they needed for the wedding weekend. With so many different vendors involved, it can definitely be a challenge with communication, but everything was handled with care and there were no hiccups. Thank you again, Mehul! Hiring DJ Mistry for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Mehul has an amazing reputation that precedes him, so we originally heard of him through friends. Our first conversation with Mehul told us how passionate he was about music, entertaining, and providing a memorable experience to his clients and their guests. He paid particularly close attention to the vibes we hoped to have during each event.
With Mehul, you get both music and production, which helped make each event a cohesive and unique experience. He is clearly passionate about his job. Frequently, during the planning process, he would reach out to me and my husband with production ideas that he had to enhance the events. His creativity really shined and we are so glad we took so many of his ideas. Our reception entrance was actually thought up by him! He also connected us with our dholi and the violinist who played during our cocktail hour.
Mehul was constantly in touch with us throughout the process and would go out of his way to make himself available at virtually any time if we had questions or concerns. During the events, we were able to trust him to handle any problem that arose, including getting a last minute MC when we needed one and handling day-of decor/staging issues with other vendors.
Perhaps the most significant thing we took away from our meetings with him is how hard he works to make sure that his client's events are truly their own. He made every aspect of the night as customizable for us as possible. During the ceremony dinner, he played an original track he created and was sung by his friend, and for days afterwards our friends and guests were texting us asking where they could get that track. Small touches like this made our wedding so memorable.
Our wedding week was phenomenal. Everything went extremely well and without any hiccups. Mehul and his team did an excellent job setting the tone for each night. The music choice was amazing and the dance floor stayed packed from beginning to end. We continue to get compliments about how much fun the wedding was and how unforgettable our DJ was. Thank you DJ Mistry for making such an important moment in our lives as incredible as it could possibly be! -

we worked with mehul on multiple wedding events for -- sangeet, baraat, sikh ceremony, hindu ceremony, garden party and reception across 3 days. he was great to work with and provided our friends and family with the best time and vibes at each event! he is extremely professional and 100% on top of everything. we loved how supportive he was throughout the weekend and his dedication to ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves. i would definitely recommend working with mehul on any event! thanks again for the hard work!! -

Mehul and his team were first off amazing. Mehul was not only a good person to work with but an enjoyable person to hang out with. Some of the things he went above and beyond with were we had a difficult time having the fire flare works go off at our venue. He made it happen and we didn’t even have to be involved in the process. He asked did we want it and it happened. Another highlight he mixed our entry songs for us at the reception and essentially picked them as well. He was able to so easily and eloquently incorporate both Indian and Cuban music. We had so much on our mind and didn’t even think about specific songs and his attention to detail was exquisite. The care and genuine interest he showed in us as a couple is one of the main reasons I would recommend him. He continued to follow up with us not only about music and lighting but to make sure other things such as decor were going well throughout the wedding planning. Working with Mehul was a pleasure and I would recommend him to anyone. -

What can't I say about Mehul and the team at Jhakaas Entertainment after hiring them for our wedding. From the first to the very last email, text message, and phone call Mehul exceeded our expectations with timely responses, a constant level of professionalism, great attention to detail, and proactive planning efforts. He worked well with our other vendors and was flexible with last minute unplanned changes. Our guests remained on the dance floor past midnight and we received so many compliments about his transitions/remixes.
