  My husband and I decided to have our wedding in Maui, mid June. It was beautiful, a tropical paradise! What we didn’t realize is that it was also very hot
  
  That’s where Jessica came in and worked her magic. You could tell that Jessica (and team) is very passionate about her work and gives it her 100%. She was there for me from the morning to the mid day touch up, and made sure I looked fresh and my very best.
  
  Jessica made me feel happy on the inside, and beautiful on the outside. She just has this pleasant personality (which is great to be around when your slightly nervous on your wedding day!) and is an amazing/talented make up artist. I very much enjoyed having her be part of my special day and I very much loved the way my make up and hair turned out. I 100% recommend her to anyone looking for the best make up artist in Maui. You won’t regret it.

  When coming to Maui to finalize our wedding venue search, I decided that doing our engagment photos there would be best to test out someone for Hair & Makeup. I did my research, and thought that Jessica's pricing was very reasonable, and that her work resembled what I was looking for. With less than a week heads up, she was able to coordinate a time for my hair and makeup, and was so accommodating!
  
  I was very happy with the results after she was complete, but the real test came for the actual engagement shoot where we were on the beach getting splashed with ocean water, and battling wind. I have VERY fine blonde hair, and every piece stayed in place (and it was down in loose curls!), and my makeup look like it had just been put on despite hours in humid/wet conditions --- I was floored!
  
  Obviously with such a great experience, I booked her and her team for our wedding date once we settled on a venue. The results on our wedding day were nothing short of what I expected. She guided me through the process of how to do multiple (1 bride, 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and a groom's service) people's hair/makeup within tight timeframe, and even was able to take on an extra person for hair, and a groomsmen for a touchup last minute!
  
  My five bridesmaids are seasoned bridesmaids, in weddings spanning from Napa, to Palm Springs, to Italy and beyond and they all unanimously agreed that was HANDS DOWN the best hair/makeup experience they have ever had. The airbrush make up worked in humid Maui conditions all day, and with a variety of hair lengths/texture everyone was pleased with the results.
  
  I would recommend Jessica & her team to anyone looking for a seamless/stress free and beautiful hair/makeup experience on Maui for Weddings or any special events!

  Jessica and her team were amazing. They did my, my sister and my mother's hair and make-up for my wedding, and all three of us agreed that it was the best we'd ever looked. Jessica was professional, responsive, flexible, patient, and so much fun to spend my wedding day with!!!

  I'm so glad I decided to go with Jessica and her team of makeup artists/hair stylists for my Maui wedding! I wear very natural makeup daily (concealer/brows/eyeliner), and wanted to photograph well but also look recognizable at the same time. Jessica (makeup) and Peka (hair) were amazing in making this happen! My hair and airbrush makeup were actually done during the late morning of my wedding day, and it looked great after more than 12 hours later, through the tears, dancing, etc.
  
  In addition to my own makeup and hair, my bridesmaids and my mother had demure makeup applications along with their hair styled (Jessica even helped to conceal a nasty sunburn on one of my bridesmaids). Her team was very personable, professional and they also tailored their work to meet everyone's needs.
  
  They finished everyone on schedule, and afterwards, my girls looked so fabulous and kept commenting about how happy they were with their looks and how talented Jessica's team was!
  
  One more thing- Jessica is also super creative and handmade these unique hairpieces for her line Beloved Adornments - they were all amazing and the one I ended up choosing was the perfect finishing touch to my outfit.
  
  I'm so glad I got to work with Jessica Waite and her team- definitely worth it to look and feel fabulous on your wedding day! Thanks Jessica!!

  Jessica is amazing! She is extremely talented and so sweet as well. She was able to help calm my day-of jitters! Her airbrush makeup was flawless, looked so natural, and stayed put for hours despite the Maui humidity and heat! I used her for my wedding and my day after photos and I loved both my looks. Her hairstylist Peka is also so incredibly sweet and did a wonderful job with my hair as well. I received several compliments that her makeup photographs extremely well so she definitely knows what she's doing! Thank you Jessica and Peka!

  I used Jessica for my hair and makeup for my wedding and her team was amazing. I flew in from London to get married in Maui and as someone who doesn't wear a tonne of makeup, I was nervous that it wouldn't look natural. Also I am Asian so wasn't sure if the makeup colour would look right on me. The trial run itself looked great - so I was relaxed.
  On the wedding day was when I was truly impressed. Jessica was very calm, made me feel totally relaxed and she was on schedule. My friend had these nasty mosquito bites from 2 days before the wedding and Jessica helped her cover it up - which was not part of her job but she is just a lovely person. I had no bridesmaids, as all my friends are scattered all over the world to coordinate that, so when it was time for me to walk out, Jessica walked with me up to the point where I had to enter the crowd. It was very sweet and again not her job but its the little things that make all the difference. She is amazing, at her art and the service she provides. I highly recommend her.

  Jessica had a good sense of who we were within a mere few minutes and tailored our makeup to our personalities. She also covered up my embarrassing/hideous sunburn across my shoulders and chest (if you rent a convertible, don't forget to apply sunscreen before riding with the top down. Even if it's just for a few hours).

  Jessica Waite and Eboni Prentice were a dream to work with on my wedding day!! Let me start by saying I didn't have a trial beforehand because I don't live in Hawaii so I was flying solely on all their great reviews and boy am I glad they were available. They both have warm, caring personalities that immediately put you at ease AND are extremely talented at what they do! I showed Eboni a quick picture of a hair style I liked, then let her work her magic and I was beyond thrilled with how my hair turned out. Eboni also styled my mother's hair in a french twist and it looked beautiful!! She's an amazing stylist!!
  Jessica was absolutely amazing. I asked for a very natural look and that's exactly what I received. She managed to apply the makeup so it accented my features without looking caked on or overly done. It was absolutely perfect, exactly what I'd hoped for! Jessica even asked me which photographer I was using saying she knows how many of them work and can do my makeup to compliment the photographer's style. I hadn't even thought about something like that and was so very impressed by her attention to detail!!
  
  I can't recommend the both of them enough... well worth the cost to relax and let them make you beautiful on your special day!!

  Planning a wedding so far away, I was nervous when it came to choosing a vendor for my hair and makeup. I found Jessica Waite randomly online and I am so happy I did. Jessica was always very professional and I felt comfortable about the process. I had my hair done by Eboni and my makeup done by Leah. Both were wonderful and had such a sweet and calming presence about them that it made it so easy to talk to and to share my opinions about what I liked and didn't like at the trial. The day of my wedding both girls arrived on time and exceeded my expectations.

  I'm not even sure where to start about the Love I gained for Jessica Waite who did my makeup and Eboni who styled my hair! These ladies EXCEEDED my expectations and are just PHENOMENAL. After reviewing multiple websites, blogs and reviews I chose Jessica Waite's team. I didn't have a makeup preference and wasn't sure of the look I wanted or needed. Jessica was like a friend I had known forever. I told her that I trust her enough to do whatever she felt would look good on me and she did not disappoint. We talked and she made sure that I was comfortable with every phase of applying the makeup. Jessica did an EXCELLENT job on my makeup and made me look like a Princess. Everyone raved about the outstanding job she had done and even my Husband was Very Impressed! The photos came out even more amazing capturing the details of her work.
  
  Hair: Eboni that works with Jessica did my hair. My initial idea was to maybe go with a simple bun. Eboni took one look at my dress and thought I should go with another style and she was right on the spot. Eboni was AMAZING and added flowers (that I requested the night before) and a few rhinestones that she had that resembled my dress. Eboni took her time and was definitely a pefectionist with my hair!!
  
  These ladies are very talented and made my day more than I ever imagined it would be!!! Everyone that has viewed my photos have acknowledged how flawless I look.

  I decided to splurge on my hair and makeup and signed a contract with Jessica Waite. It wasn't an easy decision but after I signed and put a deposit down I had no worry whatsoever on what I would look like on my wedding day. She has the best reviews because she really is the best. She made me feel the prettiest I have ever felt. I have scars and am insecure about them but once she was done I didn't see any of them. She really has a talent for making a woman look and feel beautiful. She's also just fun to have around on your wedding day!!

  I decided to splurge on my hair and makeup and signed a contract with Jessica Waite. It wasn't an easy decision but after I signed and put a deposit down I had no worry whatsoever on what I would look like on my wedding day. She has the best reviews because she really is the best. She made me feel the prettiest I have ever felt. I have scars and am insecure about them but once she was done I didn't see any of them. She really has a talent for making a woman look and feel beautiful. She's also just fun to have around on your wedding day!!

  Jessica is so sweet and talented!! I showed her a few pics and she made me look so great! I did airbrush for everyone and it really was the way to go. My makeup looked flawless all day. She even gave me one of her brushes so I could touch up my lipstick! I have never felt more beautiful in my life. The power went out at my venue so one of my girls couldn’t get the full airbrush, but Jessica worked around it and made it work with the makeup without the machine. Everyone looked natural and beautiful!

  WOW! Jessica made me feel like a celebrity, and look like one too!   Jessica is absolutely amazing. She did my makeup along with 4 bridesmaids and both moms and none of us have ever looked that good! They work together and he is an artist! he took my straight, stringy boring hair and in minutes had me looking like a movie star. I didn't know what I wanted but after showing him my dress he came up with ideas for me and I loved every single one.

  Long Story Short:
  I had a nightmare experience with my hair stylist, Marci from Maui Beautiful Brides, and on top of giving me completely and utterly perfect make-up, Jessica also stepped in and did an amazing job on my hair in the last minute! Literally, s.a.v.e.d. t.h.e d.a.y.
  
  Long Story Long:
  I had some reservations about having someone else do my make-up on my wedding day (fearing the pageant/doll-like look so often seeming to smother brides' faces); after checking in with several other “make-up artists” in Maui, I found Jessica and was impressed enough to trust her in the first place - a big step.
  
  We had a trial run (something the other make-up artists had discouraged much to my dismay) before the wedding, and Jessica's professionalism, confidence, and amazing/hilarious personality almost immediately set me at ease. She asked questions to understand just what I wanted, made sure things were clear, and then worked with me throughout the process to make sure I was completely happy with the result. I really just couldn't believe how good she was. She made me look (and feel) gorgeous, but still look like myself, not like a doll with 10 lbs of make-up on her face.
  
  On the wedding day, Jessica arrived promptly, while I was still having my hair worked on by Marci. Marci was already agitated at this point, but Jessica’s mere presence and friendly chatting was initially keeping me at ease. However, the situation erupted with Marci to the point where she was screaming at me and pulling my hair (no, I’m not kidding – I’m headed over to her page shortly to further elaborate that story). My maid-of-honor had to step in and ask Marci to walk away and cool down, and then talked to Jessica about her stepping in and doing my hair. Jessica agreed to help, but was very professional about not wishing to step on any other professionals’ toes, so managed the situation with deft discretion.
  
  By this time, I was upset, shaken, and crying – but the clock was ticking and we had to get going on the make-up before guests arrived (Jessica does the make-up outside because natural light is imperative for the optimal make-up application). With incredible professionalism, Jessica calmed me down and finished the make-up perfectly. Then onto the hair…
  
  Simply from the time we’d spent together at the trial and on the wedding day, Jessica knew my style, and without my even having to specify, she guessed exactly what I wanted and started offering up ideas. It was about this point that I was nearly overcome by the urge to shower her with grateful hugs and kisses. Working discreetly with my sisters and making due with limited resources and a ticking clock, Jessica went to work and did an INCREDIBLE job with my hair, giving me exactly what I wanted (which was an elegant, chic, boho style that included a braid and not looking overly “bridal”).
  
  Looking back and writing this synopsis, I again wish I could go back to Maui and hug her one more time, she was just so amazing! Hire her immediately!
  
  Other notes:
  What other stylists in the industry don’t tell you is that they are NOT trained make-up artists, but rather have been doing bridal hair and decided to additionally offer make-up application. The heat and humidity of Maui in combination with the amped-up expectations and circumstances of a wedding day mean you need a true professional – and after quite a lot of searching, Jessica is the only option that actually fits this description. She was MAC trained and does fashion photo shoots, television, magazine spreads, and others in addition to offering wedding make-up.
  
  You won’t find a better professional make-up artist in Maui, trust me, I did the leg-work. I saw her kit myself and it is the obvious mark of a professional. She knows how products work together, how to blend for the perfect color to match your skin, how to balance making you look gorgeous in person and photographs (a very difficult task), and has an incredible personality to boot.   Leah Yniguez from Jessica Waite did a fabulous job on the makeup for myself and my bridesmaids, etc. She and her partner were very professional and were also very flexible. We had to switch some services around at the end, and she had no issues. They worked quickly but methodically (given we had 8-9 ladies needing makeup) and the makeup lasted all day & evening! I couldn't have asked for more.

  I always see people saying Jessica is the first person they book and as a person with skin issues I knew I needed someone incredible to do my makeup - Jessica was AWESOME! At first I was a little hesitant about the price for her services but after researching found that for airbrush makeup her price is pretty good and she is honestly worth every penny! The whole time she was beautifying me my mom, bridesmaids, mom-in-law and anyone else in the room kept coming over and oohing and ahhing, needless to say I couldn't wait to see the results - she made me look INCREDIBLE, I almost didn't recognize myself :) Besides her fantastic makeup skills Jessica is a genuinely nice person, she is so sweet and in talking with her I found out she does amazing charity work in Uganda - she is an A+ human being in addition to having mad makeup skillz!

  I highly recommend Jessica!! She did an amazing job on me, my mom, and bridesmaids. Everyone was so happy and the makeup looked amazing in the pictures as well!!
  She is also really sweet and genuine and makes the whole experience fun and relaxing.

  Jessica was another one of my favorite vendors. She was very professional, yet so fun and friendly that I felt like she was one of my girlfriends! She was on time/early for each of our meetings and was flexible to try to fit in everything that we wanted. I had the airbrush application and it was amazing! For someone who doesn't wear foundation, I was a little hesitant at first, but it feels very light and looks flawless. And the best part is that you don't sweat it off. It was about 95 degrees on our wedding day, my dress was extremely hot and everything else was sweaty except my face! She will put on as much makeup as your are comfortable with and her is to make you look like the most beautiful version of yourself. She is absolutely worth the money!!!

  Jessica did an amazing job on my makeup! I had a unique idea for my makeup and showed Jessica some magazine clippings when she arrived, and she reproduced the idea perfectly. She also did my sister and mother's make-up and they looked wonderful and loved what she did.
