I cannot say enough wonderful things about Miriam from Jersey Girl Makeup! From the moment she arrived, she brought such a calm, positive energy to the day—and when I saw the final result, I was absolutely blown away. She made me feel so beautiful, and the makeup was truly flawless.
We had a warm outdoor ceremony with tons of photos taken in natural light, and my makeup held up through all of it: the sun, the happy tears, and a full night of nonstop dancing! It looked just as fresh at the end of the night as it did at the beginning. I received so many compliments, and even now, looking back at the photos, I’m amazed at how perfect everything turned out.
She listened carefully to what I wanted, enhanced my natural features, and made me feel like the best version of myself. I felt absolutely beautiful! If you’re looking for someone incredibly talented, professional, and kind—she is the one. I’m so grateful she was part of such a special day!

Seashell LBI wedding June 6th
Miriam was absolutely amazing! I got married on LBI in June right on the beach, Miriam did my make up, along with my mother in law, sisters & bridal party, everyone could not stop raving about how their make up came out! A lot of my squad (including myself) wanted a really natural look and I specifically hired Miriam because she specializes in it and she definitely delivered!!! She was super affordable, and flexible even for my make up trial, my mother in law has had some not so great experiences with other make up artists, so she wanted to come with me and get her own trial, and she was obsessed with her trial!! I had some small tweaks I wanted to make post my trial, and she made sure on my wedding day I looked stunning and most importantly comfortable! Being married on the beach and outside for several hours during summer, my make up stood flawless the entire night for all of my pictures! Even after a night of dancing! I can not thank her enough for making me feel like a princess!

Miriam is a true makeup artist/genius! I know nothing about makeup, so describing my vision was a bit difficult for me - natural, soft, ethereal, and I want to still look like me. I have been in a LOT of weddings, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I have never been happier with my hair and makeup than I was on my brother’s wedding day. By far the best I have ever looked!! Miriam is great and really listens to what you want for your wedding day look. Even though she wasn't feeling well at the trial, she knocked it out of the park! For the day of she suggested bigger lashes and a light layer of airbrush over the traditional makeup. I trusted her opinion and I'm so glad I did! I felt so glamorous and beautiful, but still like myself. My makeup did not look orange or settle in lines. She works great alongside Tara for hair and I would recommend them as a team :)

Can’t stop smiling
Not having the most perfect skin was one of my biggest fears for my wedding day… I kept thinking no matter what anyone does my skin will just be what it is. Boy was I wrong! This makeup artist had me looking so much better than I ever imagined! I felt like a bride even before I put my wedding dress on . The way she applied my makeup and when I first looked in the mirror I could not stop smiling. The way she created the look that I wanted was point on! My skin was glowing and my green eyes were popping for sure! I went for the red lip classic look and this is exactly what I got! Not only did she create the most gorgeous look but it lasted the entire day.. I highly recommend her and I definitely want to use her for any future event requiring professional makeup look.. She was very accommodating and even drove all the way to my house which was not a close commute to make me a beautiful bride.. my bridesmaids looked absolutely gorgeous and she gave them exactly the look they wanted! Everyone was extremely satisfied

Amazing - highly recommended!
Miriam did such an amazing job with my makeup! In all the weddings I've been in as a bridesmaid, I've never been happy with my makeup (including one with artists from Mac). I always say I want a natural look, and even with them attempting that, it's always too much. Mariam took the time to listen to what I wanted. I showed her pictures from my wedding (which is the only other times I was happy with my makeup) and she knew just what to do. She gave me the look I wanted, and it looked incredible in pictures. The makeup lasted through the night, even though it drizzled for a little while during pictures and at the beginning of the reception.
She used an air brush, which always looks so much better. My eyes can be a little sensitive sometimes, so I don't know how she did it, but at no point did anything tickle or feel uncomfortable.
Her price was very reasonable.
She was incredibly sweet. I'm pretty shy, but we had a nice conversation. I felt very comfortable the whole time.
Finally, she did a great job getting us all ready in time, which is so important!

Best wedding glam!
After getting engaged during the pandemic I struggled to find a make up artist( all the bookings for rescheduled weddings, it was a chaotic time for brides and vendors). I found Miriam through wedding wire and it was one of the best things that happened. She was AWESOME! With all the obstacles through the this crazy time everything was wonderful, from the trial to the big day! She is responsive and accommodating and listened to everything! I'm not big on make up on a regular basis so I had a hard time explaining what exactly I wanted but she still did just that. Everything was perfect and all the girls loved their glam looks! She was on time and totally on schedule. I highly reccomend her to anyone looking to book make up for ypur big day. She was also nice enough to help my niece who decided to put her own make up on that morning. Everyone was so happy with how they looked,I could not have asked for a better experience and I truly felt like I looked amazing!!! You should definitely book this vendor for your big day!

Miriam was 10000/10 stars probably more. Her and Tara (Simple Elegance for hair) were outstanding. Our makeup stayed all day and it was even difficult to get off after getting cake smashed in my face ! Her professionalism and her artwork of makeup made my day perfect!

Miriam was super friendly and professional throughout the whole process- from meeting her to getting a trial run to my actual wedding day. I will recommend her to any friends or family in the future. Miriam went above and beyond to accommodate my sister and I for a wedding. She was timely with her responses and so reasonable with pricing! Miriam used the best tools and products to assure my makeup lasted all day and night. She was so easy to talk to and really cared about making the experience perfect for us! Her work as an artist was outstanding, I will certainly use her again. In fact, I was hesitant to write this review because I don’t want her to book up 😜 Miriam is educated and talented in her field of artistry and I trust her explicitly. She listened, was professional and was very clean!! Miriam made my sister and I feel like our best selves!! amazing and affordable
Being the first of my friends to plan a wedding, I had no recommendations for makeup. I scoured The Knot, and found Miriam at Jersey Girl Makeup. Her prices were absolutely incredible, and after my trial, I booked immediately. She is professional, affordable, and flexible, and her product can’t be beat. She showed up at the crack of dawn to start makeup for my bridesmaids, and when extra family members trickled in, it was no problem for her to add them on. In total, I think she did 14 faces the day of, and we all looked absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend her enough.

Miriam from Jersey Girl Makeup was absolutely perfect! My wife and I planned a simple and intimate elopement ceremony, and we wanted just that, a simple ceremony with casual clothing and natural makeup - Miriam was the perfect makeup artist! She responded immediately to my initial inquiry and stayed in contact with me all up until the day of the wedding.
We explained to her that neither of us were big makeup wearers so we wanted our makeup to look natural, and she did just that. Miriam used airbrush makeup so it looked natural and was lite on our skin. We both felt absolutely beautiful, Miriam was professional and kind and make us feel like the only 2 brides in the world that afternoon! Would highly recommend! Thanks again Miriam

The Best Around!
I ended up having two trials with two other artists, one terrible and one satisfactory. I hired the second but a couple months before my wedding she had to cancel. So I luckily found Miriam and scheduled a third trial. I left that trial feeling the way I should have felt all along-beautiful and confident. On my wedding day she arrived early and worked as a team with my hair dresser. She airbrushed and made up 5 of us and everyone wanted different styles, some of us have hooded lids, some of us have mature skin, and we all looked AMAZING. my mother in laws makeup made my jaw drop-it was such a gorgeous transformation. She had lashes to suit everyone and mine stayed on all night, no lifting like they sometimes do when I do them myself. I know makeup, and I’m very experienced myself so I knew that my eyelids and undereye needed some special techniques cuz they crease so easily. Miriam did what I asked her to and was happy to do things the way that work best for me. She uses good products and is sanitary. No one has ever done my eyebrows to my liking except Miriam. I can’t wait to hire her again for other special occasions.

Super helpful and beautiful makeup!
Miriam was extremely helpful when my original makeup artist was unable to do makeup for my wedding anymore. She made sure I had nothing to worry about and worked around difficult circumstances going on right now. Mariam is absolutely amazing!! She did my makeup as well as my moms and sisters for my wedding. She listened to everything we wanted and made it happen. Even My mom who never wears make up and always feels self conscience wearing it, felt like a million bucks!! My make up was flawless and stayed put during an outside wedding in the summer heat. Not only is Mariam extremely talented but she is also a kind hearted individual and makes the whole experience fun. She also went completely out of her way to accommodate me when I had to switch the only wedding to a different day just a few days before the wedding. Wonderful artist and so kind!
Miriam was such a pleasure to work with from the start. I am not into make-up and wanted something subtle but flawless for my wedding. She was so knowledgeable and made me felt comfortable as walked me through the products she uses, the benefits of airbrush for the look I wanted and how lightweight it would feel, and also about different lashes to complete my look. My trail turned out great and I felt comfortable talking through the small changes I wanted for the big day. Planning the makeup for myself and the wedding party was also simple and the day of she finished ahead of schedule. Miriam was always so friendly and invested in her work that you can't help but feel like you're in good hands.

Miriam was Amazing!
Miriam made myself, my mom and all my bridesmaids feel so beautiful!! One of my bridesmaids wasn't planning on getting her makeup done but once she saw Miriam's work - she added herself to the list! Miriam was very flexible and fit her right in with plenty of time left before we got dressed. My mom and my aunt/matron of honor were both over 50 years old and were nervous about feeling "overdone." Miriam made them feel naturally beautiful, especially when staying next to a bunch of twenty-somethings. In addition, my mom had just finished chemo therapy and had lost her hair, Miriam made her feel confident in her false eyelashes and she looked naturally stunning. My mom and I both had a trial and it was a great decision. Miriam listened to exactly what I was thinking and took pictures to remember the look. On the wedding day she did an absolutely amazing job with my makeup. I couldn't have been happier! Thank you Miriam!

Miriam was great and she was able to take me on as a client with my wedding fast approaching. She also was able to recommend a hair stylist too. Miriams prices are very reasonable and she works with you. She was very pleasant and she did wonderfully with my makeup and best friends makeup. We both got the airbrushing and I got lash extensions and airbrush. The makeup help up even through cake being smashed into my face and it being cleaned off. Would deff reccomend to anyone. Miriam is my go to person for my makeup needs for special events!! Thank you!! Miriam everyone loved the makeup!!

I personally do not have my makeup done but my bridesmaids did. Each bridesmaid had their own unique look, that was different but all looked so amazingly beautiful. We also had my matron of Honor's Mom's makeup done and she looked absolutely wonderful. We were able to have not only have younger makeup but older makeup done professionally and elegantly done. I was fortunate to have jersey girl makeup available for two special occasions. My daughter had her middle school dance and Miriam did an amazing job! Not only did she give her a subtle flawless glow, but she made her feel confident. Let’s face it..that’s not easy to achieve with teenage girls. I also requested her services for a photo shoot I was doing for my portfolio. I was very specific that I do not typically wear makeup and was nervous about the outcome. She did a fantastic job! Wow, what an experience! Jeresy Girl Make up did a fantastic job with my daughter Carol Ann. We were very concerned because the make up artist at our first daughter’s wedding was very disappointing! Jersey Girl Make up communicated with us so well every step of the way with email and phone call confirmations. On the day of the wedding she was their extra early and all I can say is WOW! All the girls looked so beautiful especially the beautiful bride. As the mother of the Bride who is a real nervous person and wanting to make sure everything was perfect, my expectations were exceeded by Jersey Girl Make Up and everyone at the wedding was complimenting on how beautiful the girls looked. Jerseygirl makeup made my wedding day amazing. She traveled 2 hours there and back just to make sure myself and my bridal party looked amazing. She did makeup for 10 of us on her own and finished everyone with extra time left and everyone looked gorgeous. Every girl wanted a different look and Miriam nailed all of them. I can’t say enough good things about her. If you want your day to go smoothly without having to stress about whether or not you’ll like your look, don’t hesitate to book her! You won’t regret it!!

I can't recommend Miriam enough. I am still getting compliments on my makeup from my wedding! She doesn't absolutely beautiful work. I was nervous to get airbrushing done for the first time, and Miriam made sure that I was 100% happy with the way it turned out in the trial so that way I wouldn't have to worry on my wedding day. She definitely listens to her clients' wants and concerns. My makeup came out exactly how I wanted and I felt absolutely beautiful!!!

I am not a big makeup person so I am always skeptical when I have my face made up by a professional makeup artist. The results that I got once Miriam finished my face astounded me. It was so natural and beautiful. She made me feel so beautiful the day of my baby brother's wedding! I highly recommend her.

I wouldn't have anyone else do my makeup for any occasion. Miriam is the absolute best and so fun to work. I had her do my wedding makeup without question! I have even gone out of my way to have Miriam do my makeup as a bridesmaid when the bride had scheduled someone else. This is proof that Miriam is the best around!

Miriam is the only person in this world who I would let do my makeup! She is absolutely utterly amazing. She was quick to respond and willing to make anything work for my trail. She was able to get 6 girls plus me done in no time! Miriam knows what works for each girl and she also listens to exactly what you want. My makeup lasted me the ENTIRE day without needing any sort of touch-up. In fact, I think I looked even better as the day went on! She is the best!

For my best friend’s wedding, the bride paid for us to all have our makeup done and hired Miriam to do so. Miriam reached out to discuss the look that I want and the fake lashes that I would like. She went above and beyond answering my questions and just making me feel very important (all the while there was 4 other girls and a bride). The day of she was so great! She did exactly what I wanted and I looked awesome! I will be booking Miriam in the future cause not only is she professional, but she is absolutely amazing at makeup!!! She is also one of the sweetest people you will ever meet!!!!

Miriam from day one was absolutely exceptional! Miriam was professional, sweet, and truly a pleasure to work with! When we met for the first time to do my trial she was so easy to talk to, I felt like I had known her for years! She even did a trial for my mom who was very hesitant to have air brush done. Let's just say Miriam worked her magic and my mom was thrilled with the results. As a girl that doesn't wear a lot of makeup. I was looking for a very natural look and Miriam nailed it! I can't say enough about Miram. She was incredibly professional and did equisite makeup. I highly recommend the airbrush foundation. The weight of it is very light and it lasted all day through a heatwave on the day of my wedding. Miriam managed her time and got through all the girls and myself with plenty of time time to spare. Miriam did a fantastic job on my makeup for my 10/6 wedding. The airbrush makeup was lightweight, looked great, and lasted all night. She was GREAT to work with—very responsive in emails, arrived early and stuck to the tight timeline, and was very patient and flexible. After doing makeup for 8 on my wedding day, she even squeezed in my aunts and cousins at the very end. The makeup itself did not look “cakey” and Miriam was able to customize everyone’s look to what they wanted. All of the girls (including my mom) were so thrilled with how their makeup turned out. I highly recommend Miriam and can’t wait to use her again!

I was a nervous bride the day of, and having Miriam do my make up was a blessing! She is professional, very friendly, talented and did an amazing job on all of us! I used Jersey Girl Makeup to get ready for my company's holiday party. Before I even got to the party I posted my "after" picture on Facebook which was INSTANTLY flooded with positive comments and "thumbs up" from friends. A co-worker even came up to me at the party and said "ok, let me see! You should have brought her down here!" (The party was in Atlantic City.) I would highly recommend Miriam for anyone who needs makeup for ANY occasion...not just weddings! But call her quick because she will book up fast!
