As a wedding photographer myself, photography was obviously the most important part of my wedding day. I had met Jerry through my dad a few years before our wedding, and loved his work. Once it was time to start considering wedding photographers, I knew I wanted to hire Jerry. Even though he lived across the country from me, his prices were reasonable enough and I loved his work enough that it made it worth flying him in. He flew in for our engagement session in 2019 and the photos came out amazing. Jerry was also super helpful and understanding while dealing with postponing our wedding due to COVID. Working with him and Nicolette on the day of was everything I could've asked for. They were both super laid back (which I needed as a kind of anxious bride!), easy to work with and I know for a fact captured so many amazing photos. Just the sneak peek sent me into a happy dance during my honeymoon! I can't recommend Jerry enough, thanks so much! -

I've personally known Jerry for more than 10 years and have always loved his work -- I knew when it was my time to get married he'd be my first call. His photos are timeless and will look great now or in 50 years.
Jerry goes above and beyond. He wants to personally get to know you. My wife was extremely impressed after meeting him for the first time and felt like she was in great hands during our special day.
15/10 would highly recommend! -

Jerry is truly the best! We took both our engagement and wedding photos with him, and they all turned out amazing. Jerry is very patient with couples who don't know anything about posing -like us- and will work with you to get the best possible shots. It unfortunately rained during and immediately after our ceremony, and we were unable to take photos outside. However, Jerry quickly thought of some alternative locations, and we got some lovely photographs with the rain backlit behind us. Jerry also hand delivered our photos to us in a lovely wooden box with a thank-you note. We think that the quality of Jerry's photos really speak for themselves, but hope that this review will also help you pick Jerry for your special day. -

We searched through so many reviews of area photographers and just weren't satisfied with any of them until we saw Jerry's work. He brings pictures to life. He is so talented at capturing moments and telling stories with the pictures he creates. Jerry did our engagement session and our wedding day pictures, and we just were so amazed by the pictures he produced! We really enjoyed sharing our wedding day with Jerry and having him with us. My mother even commented after the wedding that having Jerry around was just like having another family member with us. He makes you feel comfortable and relaxed, and he's got a great sense of humor. We truly feel that we got the best of both worlds by finding a photographer and a friend. -

Jerry was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was always very willing to work with our schedule (or the weather's schedule) to make sure we had a flawless experience! We love all of our pictures! Jerry worked incredibly hard the entire wedding (and engagement shoot) and we even had guests comment on how impressed they were with him. He was still working hard to get the best shots even as the night was coming to a close. Jerry also makes every effort to become part of your life, helping to make you comfortable and natural in your photos. He'll go out for coffee, come over for dinner, will even make friends with your fur babies. I would 100% recommend Jerry to anyone looking for a quality photographer. -

Jerry is the BEST!
I have only positive things to say about Jerry. From our initial phone call, I could tell it would be a great fit. He was very organized, confident, and friendly. He helped to map out the timeline for the day and functioned like a second wedding planner with his tips and tricks for the day. On the day of the wedding, I was anxious about time. Jerry was excellent at helping me not to feel rushed. His presence was very calming, but also fun at the same time. It was just like having a friend with me the whole day. He was fantastic at making me laugh. I can’t put into words how happy I am with the pictures! Absolutely thrilled! Honestly, I am so glad I chose him to capture such a special day and that he was able to travel to St. Louis. His work is beautiful. He found great locations in Forest Park that were easy for the wedding party to get to, which was so helpful because I couldn’t decide where I wanted to take pictures. I can’t wait to work with Jerry again in the future! -

Jerry was very personable and want's to get to know you before the wedding. Out pictures are amazing and arrived very quickly. He is also willing to go above and beyond to help you on your wedding day in unconventional ways, such as helping you fix your hair. One hundred percent would recommended. -

I could not be happier with my wedding photos!
Jerry is the epitome of professional when it comes to taking gorgeous wedding photos but at the end of the day he wants you to have the perfect experience and will go above and beyond to do so. He was super flexible about where to take pictures when our day of timeline got backed up and the weather was too cold. He got some gorgeous photos and I will be forever grateful my day was captured so beautifully. -

BEST WEDDING PLANNING DECISION EVER. Jerry has shot every single one of my good friends’ weddings because we can’t imagine hiring anyone else. He is the designated photographer of our friend group for a very good reason! He and his team are easy to work with, fun to be around, and super flexible, AND they get get the most amazing photos. When planning the wedding, the only things we cared about were the venue and making sure we could get Jerry and we are so glad we did! We looked around just to compare and could not find any other photographers that gave you all of your photos AND the rights to them AND at that price, so that combined with the quality of the photos you get and the fun and flexibility that comes with hiring him makes him the best in KC. He helped calm me down on the wedding day when things went awry and helped everybody stay on schedule but RELAXED. He also made us the most thoughtful wedding gift, and I can’t believe his prices are so reasonable! Thank you Jerry and Nicolette! -

Jerry is amazing at what he does. He shot our engagement pictures and our whole wedding day. From the moment we met, he did all he could to get to know us individually and as a couple so he could help us feel comfortable. He takes time to get the best shots but is also fantastic at capturing the authentically candid shots that usually make the best pictures. We've recommended him to others and truly consider him a friend. His team does wonders as well. We feel lucky that we had them there to capture our day and give us the memories to look back on forever. -

Jerry was more than a photographer, through the process he was very helpful with wedding details, gave us great advice and answered any questions that we had. He has a great personality and makes the process of setting up the wedding timeline easy. For our wedding Jerry brought an assistant, Nick. Nick was very professional as well and both were so much fun to be around during the wedding festivities. They were very detailed and captured so many of the little as well as the big moments. They highlighted our excitement and the love shared that day between us as well as our family and friends. When we look back on our photos it's like re-living the best day of our lives! Overall Jerry Wang Photography is very professional, fun to work with and the best choice, HANDS DOWN, for your wedding photographer!!

Tyler Sent on 11/26/2017If we could give Jerry a million stars, we would! If you are looking for a caring, passionate, and immensely talented photographer, stop looking and book Jerry. It is difficult to describe in one review how incredible Jerry is. Not only does he take breathtaking pictures, but he also puts so much heart into his work. When we met Jerry for the first time, we were so excited about his passion and knowledge. We were very nervous to take our engagement pictures, but Jerry talked us through some of the poses and made us feel so comfortable. As we continued going through the wedding-planning process, we met with Jerry several times to run through our plans for the day. He gave us so many great suggestions that made our day flawless. On our wedding day, Jerry went above and beyond making us feel comfortable, gently reminded us when it was time to move on to the next part on our schedule, and made sure we were having a great time every second of the day. Jerry also did such an amazing job capturing our wedding day. We have looked though our pictures many times, and every time we look through them we are able to relive our perfect day. We are so lucky to not only have gotten incredible photographer, but also a great friend.

Kylie Sent on 07/26/2013We came across Jerry Wang Photography completely by accident and we are so glad we did. We started by meeting Jerry and getting to know each other. From there we scheduled our engagement session. He came to Osage City to take our pictures on quite possibly the coldest day! The pictures turned out great despite the freezing temps! We met a couple more times before the wedding to discuss ideas and must haves. Jerry was very open to my ideas! On the wedding day he showed up on time and ready to shoot. We got in some great photos before the RAIN! Yes, an outdoor wedding.. with lots and lots of rain. Not to worry, Jerry and his team never stopped shooting! We have some of the most unique photos ever! After the quick and very wet ceremony Jerry and his team hopped on the party bus and headed out to take more pictures!
We are very impressed with the quality of photos Jerry and his team took. We ordered an album from him as well and though his prices were fair.
We have had SO many complements on our wedding pictures and photo booth shots as well.
