Perfect. That is the best way to describe Jeremiah. He knows what he is doing and keeps you at ease. He throws in some humor, who ALL of my guests loved. He is the perfect person to marry you on your big day.

Jeremiah did such a wonderful job with our wedding ceremony! My husband is Catholic and I'm Jewish. When we met with Jeremiah several months ago, he helped us customize a wedding ceremony that was conducive to both religions (for example, we choose the readings/blessings and he even allowed us to replace or entirely remove certain words/phrases that we felt might have been too religious). The only thing to note is that he doesn't attend the rehearsal (he had officiated hundreds of weddings at our venue, Flint Hill, and so they were aware of this as well). He did sit with us before the ceremony, however, to run through all of the final details one more time. All and all, Jeremiah was an excellent choice. We got many compliments from guests on how amusing and humorous he was as well! Thank you for everything, Jeremiah!!!

Our Day-Of coordinator recommended Jeremiah to us and we were so pleased with our choice. Everyone at the wedding was talking about how he made it fun and light and brought laughter to the wedding. He included my children in the ceremony which made it extra special. My husband is of Irish descent to it was a nod to his heritage as well. Jeremiah was the right choice for our ceremony and I would recommend him to anyone.

My husband and I are so glad we chose Jeremiah to officiate our ceremony! He was recommended to us by our venue and I can see why! We met with him about 11 months before the wedding to go over the ceremony and which elements we wanted to include. He worked with us to create a ceremony that brought together our two families, but with a lighthearted touch. On the day of, he made us laugh at exactly the right moments and guided us through the ceremony so we never felt lost. (He doesn't attend the rehearsal, but he is so good at what he does, you don't even need the rehearsal!) He recommended the wine-box ceremony in place of a unity candle which added a really nice touch to the ceremony. If you are looking for a wonderful and funny officiant with a lovely Irish accent, Jeremiah is your guy. Highly recommend!!

Jeremiah was awesome!! So glad we chose him to officiate our wedding. I read some reviews about how he is very funny and outgoing, both of which are completely true! This is what drew us toward him. We were able to meet with him before the wedding to get to know each other and to understand the process of the ceremony. Everything went so smoothly. He's a pro! He was able to get everyone laughing (which helped with all the tears, especially mine) and his Irish accent is just an added bonus!. I would definitely recommend Jeremiah to anyone!

We so enjoyed having Jeremiah perform our wedding ceremony. He made it very memorable with moments of laughter tastefully sprinkled throughout the ceremony. It was a pleasure getting to know him during this process. He will be prompt on your wedding day, but please be advised he does not do rehearsals.

Our wedding coordinator recommended Jeremiah to us, and we are so glad she did! He was such a pleasure to work with and did an incredible job officiating our wedding! He helped us plan out the ceremony to make it exactly what we wanted. Our wedding guests raved about how wonderful Jeremiah was and how much they enjoyed the ceremony. Jeremiah was recommended to us by both our DJ AND our photographer...and I am SO thankful that they did. After watching a video on YouTube of Jeremiah officiating a wedding, my husband was adamant "I want him. No question." Upon meeting Jeremiah, we immediately knew that we had made the best decision! We clicked immediately - and not just because he is Irish & I am English! Jeremiah was a HUGE hit at our wedding! Our ceremony was funny, lighthearted, and pretty much completely perfect! We received many compliments of how much everyone enjoyed the 'non-typical' ceremony. He even included a very special dedication to my daughter during the ceremony which had everyone in the chapel tearing up. It was beautiful. I would highly recommend Jeremiah to anyone who wants an officiant who will bring some fun to your ceremony! Thank you, Jeremiah!

I cannot say enough kind words to describe what a wonderful officiant Chaplain Jeremiah is. He made our wedding ceremony so amazing. He made it fun and entertaining with the right amount of seriousness. Not a single person at our wedding, and we had 140 pp,l had anything negative to say about him. He made everyone feel like a part of the ceremony and most importantly brought God into it. I love that he had beautiful verses recited at the wedding and made some jokes to get everyone laughing. It helped me not be too nervous and made me and my husband feel comfortable and very happy. If you are looking for someone to bring a special presence to your wedding ceremony and make it great, Chaplain Jeremiah is the person to do it

We were so pleased with the work Jeremiah did as our officiant! We met with him once at his home to customize our ceremony. He had a general order of events, but gave us options as to how spiritual we wanted the service to be, which was great! After our first meeting, he said he doesn't generally come to rehearsals and that he would see us at the wedding. This made me a little nervous, but I quickly realized there was no need to be as he is a seasoned professional! During the ceremony, he did a great job bringing in a little humor, which helped me get through my vows despite all of my happy tears! Of all of our vendors, I think we received the most compliments about Jeremiah. He truly was great and I couldn't have imagined using anyone else for such an important task!

Jeremiah was wonderful! His cute accent made for a wonderful and memorable ceremony. He kept the ceremony short and sweet which was exactly what we wanted. He also allowed us to customize the the ceremony to a spiritual level that we were both comfortable with which was great. We would highly recommend him!!

Love this man! What more can I say? Trust me, if you want a fun wedding officiant, this is your guy. He made everyone laugh that day. He is very down to earth and honestly tries to get to know you beforehand. For me, having someone to break the ice and make two families smile was incredibly important for me, and he did just that. I highly recommend scheduling a meet and great with him!

Jeremiah is awesome. He is so funny and just made me relax on my big day. He knows his stuff. I was a little worried about him not attending the rehearsal but he showed up the next day, early and went over all the details. Everything turned out great.

Jeremiah was a wonderful officiant. He put us and our guests at ease and gave us exactly the ceremony we hoped for: non denominational, non religious, but still with a sense of occasion and gravity and also peppered with humour. He was professional from the moment he arrived and was the glue that held the day together. He has a big personality and is fantastic at what he does. I would recommend him without hesitation!

When we started looking for an officiant our main goal was to find someone who was non-denominational and would give us a ceremony that was meaningful for us without all the religious stuff. It was tough to find this in GA. The first few people we contacted were booked on our day. And then we found Jeremiah.

We laughed a lot during our consultation with him and I just knew he was the one. He was willing to do whatever we wanted - religious or not - and offered his expertise as advice on how to structure the ceremony.

The hardest part for me was being the daughter of a pastor (my mom) and wanting to make things comfortable, yet not religious. I didn't want long prayers or anything that would make me roll my eyes and not be true to myself, yet I also didn't want to disrespect my mom or make things weird for anyone. Jeremiah was awesome in his planning and made sure to keep me comfortable while respecting my mom.

We opted for both the Irish and Native American blessings, neither of which were religious, but both very spiritual. I liked that he suggested that.

His little jokes during the ceremony were great, since we are both kinda not serious and yet the jokes weren't cheesy or showman-like. It was perfect.

We went on a gut feeling with Jeremiah and we were right to trust the gut. He did a great job and I couldn't have been more pleased.

We had an interfaith wedding ceremony as I am Catholic and my husband in Jewish. Jeremiah did an amazing job incorporating Christian influences into our ceremony. He meshed so well with Rabbi Kranz. We received several comments about how special the officiants made our ceremony. It had just the right amount of religion incorporated. It was perfect!

Multiple guests approached me to state that it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended. Jeremiah is warm, friendly, charming, witty and has an impressive booming Irish voice. He is very good at his job and gave my dad specific instructions which my dad appreciated immensely. I could not imagine having anyone else preside over our wedding.

We had a hard time finding an officiant for our wedding who would agree to marry an interracial and interfaith (Arab & American) couple. Everyone we approached discriminated against us and wouldn't even give us an appointment. Jeremiah was great, welcomed us into his home and never made us feel like we had anything to defend. He officiated our wedding beautifully and even got a few laughs along the way. Spend 5 minutes with him and you'll feel like you've known him forever!

Jeremiah Okeefe-West was an amazing officiant. He made our wedding ceremony so special. When we met with him he was organized and helped us choose everything for our ceremony. How do I begin... Jeremiah was a preferred vendor for the venue we were getting married at. My husband and I went to interview with him and fell in love with him. We left with all of our wedding vows already done! At the wedding he came to visit me right before the wedding to just remind me of a couple things. This was the 1st time my mom had met him. She thought he was hilarious! I was starting to get emotional when it was my turn to say the vows, he stopped for a minute and looked at me and said "If you can get through this, there is a ring for you at the end." That was awesome! Everyone got a good laugh including me and I was able to pull my self back together! He had a couple more jokes throughout the ceremony that were just classic! It was perfect for us because we are not serious ppl at all, but it was just right. Everyone came up to me and was raving about him! My photographer had just got engaged and she said, "I am using him for my wedding!"

I was so happy to have Jeremiah O'Keefe West as the officiant for my wedding. He has a wonderful Irish accent, but not too strong that you can't understand him. He also provides comic relief at just the right moments. We thought he was great.

Jeremiah was an excellent non-denominational officiant. He was very accomodating and allowed us to make drastic changes to his usual ceremony program. He's funny and charming as well. We were very pleased with his services.

Jeremiah met with us long before our wedding and I was so glad that he was able to perform our ceremony. He lightened things up every time I would get teary- and kept the audience laughing while performing an absolutely beautiful ceremony. We were so pleased that we chose Jeremiah for our officiant. It took us a long time to find him, but it was well worth the search! We had one planning meeting in which we reviewed the typicaly ceremony, discussed some changes we wanted to make, and selected most of our readings, prayers, etc. We completed the rest of the planning via email. On the day of the wedding, Jeremiah met with each of us (separately) beforehand, and with my father, to review the flow of the ceremony and what we each needed to do. It calmed us all down. Jeremiah added some humor to the ceremony, but still preserved the gravity of the event of getting married. He made us really comfortable throughout. Our guests loved him as much as we did! Great choice for a non-denominational officiant.

It's been a month since our wedding and we still routinely get compliments on Jeremiah's service. He knows what works and he does that. There are definitely options you go through with him at your consultation to customize the service. He won't come to your rehearsal (and honestly I agree with his logic, you don't need him there). He was super easy to work with and at the end of the day you're hiring him to give a great wedding ceremony and he will definitely deliver. Also for those brides who are criers, that's a big thing for him, he won't let you. He gave little jokes anytime I was tearing up to keep me in control :)
