I could not have had such a wonderful, amazing, gluten-free cake without Shavon and Jen's Cakes.

Oh how I love Shavon. In fact, I'm going to be contacting her for a replica of our wedding cake, so we can have something on our 1 year anniversary (we TRIED to save the top layer of our cake, but lord we just couldn't help ourselves!!! it was sooooo goooood).

Shavon is a total sweetheart, and very professional. She works incredibly hard, and is so very talented, too.

I have NO problem giving them referrals. In fact, I already have. Everyone at the reception was raving about the cake... I wish I would have had business cards for them!! :(

Thank you Shavon and please give my thanks to your wonderful Mom. I will be forwarding photos soon, as I"m told I have some of you two :)

Delicious and beautiful cake!

From the first email exchange with Jen's Cakes, I knew they would have excellent service. My contact was Aimee and knowing I was a covid bride with an ever-changing guest list as well as date (!), she was quick to set up a take home tasting for my fiance to pick up. The tasting was so much fun and featured a great variety of flavors. We hired them and chose 3 tiers and a half sheet cake to accommodate our number of guests and we chose 3 flavors. I got so many compliments on the day of and after about the cake flavor and you can see the pictures speak for themselves for how beautiful it turned out. Was so happy to have found Jen's Cakes and would recommend!

Our cake was delicious! And our experience with them both at the tasting and overall was just great. I liked that they worked with us on the design and flavor. I would recommend them for sure.

The team at Jen's Cakes is on top of things and everything went smoothly. Our appointment was rather quick as we chose a 3-tier, Kahlua Chocolate cake and rented a tree stump base to match our theme.

The cake arrived very early and our floral vendor had plenty of time to decorate it. Everyone at our wedding really, really enjoyed the cake. We would not hesitate to recommend them for other people's weddings or using them again for a special event.

Jen’s cakes did an amazing job for our wedding! They matched the picture we provided perfectly and of course the cake was delicious! Loved them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a gorgeous art piece for their reception!

I cannot say enough about how delicious Jen's Cakes is. We choose not to have a wedding cake, since we don't like cake. But we tasted some raspberry thumb print cookies at a wedding showcase and we HAD to have them for our wedding. We ordered them super last minute, but they were able to accommodate just fine. On the day of the wedding, we had forgot to pick up the cookies, totally slipped our minds, but they called to remind us and we were able to send one of our friends down. We thought it was so amazing that they reminded us, since they could have easily not have since the cookies were already paid for.

All of our guest raved about the cookies and demanded to know where they came from, they were that good. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs delicious cooked of their next event!

We loved our cake! A lot of people asked where we got it the cake clause it was so moist. Easy to work with and very professional people. Thank you Jen's cakes! We will see you for our littles 1st Birthday!

We were very pleased with the cake we purchased from Jen’s Cakes for our wedding. We wanted a few flavors, and Jen had a wide variety for our to choose from and we were able to find one that all of our guests loved. Jen was very helpful during the planning process, and helped me to hone in on what I really wanted for the cake design. The cake turned out absolutely beautifully and was extremely elegant. The cake itself was delicious – it was extremely moist and flavorful and we received a number of compliments from guests. Throughout the process, Jen was professional, kind, and helpful, and I would certainly recommend her and her work to others!

We recently used Jen's cakes for our wedding. From the beginning of working with Kristi at Jen's cakes, everything was wonderful! Jen's Cakes has been extremely flexible and has helped design both my wedding cake and grooms cake for my future hubby. I ever expected it to be! I was very happy and so were all my guests. It tasted as amazing as it looked!

Jen's Cakes did an amazing job at my wedding. As an out of town bride, it was already tough to find a good vendor. Originally I had consulted with another baker in the San Jose area, but after continual non-responsiveness, that incident was a blessing in disguise. Not only were Jen's Cakes desserts great, but they were also extremely affordable. It was so affordable that I was able to order extra mini cupcakes for our dessert table for even under the cost the other baker had quoted me for one cake! They surprised me on my wedding day. I thought our sheet cakes were just going to be plain square cakes to sit in the back kitchen for serving, but instead beautiful individual mini "naked" cakes were displayed next to our wedding cake. Highly recommended!

OMG!!! I cannot say enough about this place. When we went for the tasting I told my Husband (fiance at the time), just to choose the one that he liked the most, because normally the cake sits out for to long on the wedding day and is to dry when you actually cut it! WOW was I WRONG! I got more compliments on the lemon cake then anything else!!! I am so happy we chose the flavors and the baker we did (lemon cake, lemon filling & white cake, raspberry filling).

We were a bit of a unique situation and were lucky enough to have Jen's Cakes in Wisconsin for our wedding but they were beautiful and tasted great! We got so many compliments on how yummy and moist all of the flavors were. Thank you!!

Our original cake vendor bailed on us despite our due diligence. We had to find a new wedding cake vendor 2 weeks before our wedding on November 14, 2015. We went in for a tasting with Tiffany, who is super nice! We got to try several delicious flavors but ultimately settled on almond cake with mango mousse (I wish I could have some right now!). We ended up getting a 3-tiered cake. I supplied my own cake topper, ribbon, and roses for decoration. My husband and I are pretty minimalistic but we were able to have some options for frosting decoration without an additional fee if we kept it white.

Tiffany and her team member came early to the venue to get it all set up in time. Everyone loved the cake. It was really lovely.

You really do get what you pay for and while it was a little over budget for us, I can honestly say that it was totally worth it. Especially when that delicious cake comes with excellent customer service. If you are having a Bay Area wedding, check out Jen's Cakes in San Jose!

We used Jen's Cakes for our wedding cake last month and it was beautiful and for me, more importantly, DELICIOUS! I had friends tell me that they had never seen a bride eat her wedding cake on her wedding day, but you can bet that I made sure to find time to eat the cake we had ordered!

We had a wonderful experience with the sampling of the different kinds of cakes, and I just wanted a simple, elegant decor for our cake. They pulled through and it was lovely.

We ordered the green tea cake with white chocolate mousse filling and the white cake with raspberry filling. Our guests loved it! Even the ones that don't really like cake!

I felt like we were cared for from beginning to end and I didn't have to worry for a second about our cake. Highly recommend them!

We booked our wedding at Hayes Mansion and included in the package was a cake from Jen's Cakes. Our wedding was a haunted theme wedding and we found a picture of a cake we wanted to copy from Pinterest that had creepy trees all around the cake. The wedding package with the venue included a 4-tiered cake, but since our wedding cake design was custom, Jen's Cakes suggested a 2-tiered cake to save some money and use that money to spend towards the custom design. As we had hoped, we ended up not having to spend an extra penny to get a custom designed cake!

The cake turned out looking BETTER than the picture I provided them with! Not only that, the cake was delicious! We had the 2-tiered cake on display, but had 2 different types of flat cakes in the back to serve: chocolate cake with white chocolate truffle toffee filling (the BEST) and almond cake with custard filling. Our guests kept complimenting how delicious the cakes were after the wedding.

We also had a custom cake topper that was pretty fragile and sat at the edge of the cake, but Jen's Cakes was able to safely secure the topper. I highly recommend this bakery and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

We recently used Jen's cakes for our wedding. From the beginning of working with Kristi at Jen's cakes, everything was wonderful! We did a tasting and they have so many different flavors of cakes and fillings, both unique and traditional. They were priced very reasonably. We picked 2 different flavors and Kristi was very helpful when we were making decisions about everything. The day of, they delivered the cake smoothly and it looked beautiful! Everyone raved at the wedding at how delicious the cake was and how beautiful it looked.

Whenever I had a question, the response time was SO fast and thorough! Jen's Cakes was really great to work with!

Jen's Cakes is AMAZING! At first I had a lot of ideas for my wedding cake that I showed them at my consultation. After the consultation and cake tasting they helped me narrowed down what I wanted. I submitted my wedding invitation because I wanted them to match it to my wedding cake. Come my wedding day, my cake was beautiful and more than I ever expected it to be! I was very happy and so were all my guests. It tasted as amazing as it looked!

Although originally I was going to find some place closer for the grooms cake, I couldn't pass up the ideas the designer had for the grooms cake and they were flexible with my budget! What can I say about Jen's Cakes that hasn't already been said? My husband and I decided to go with a small wedding cake to cut for photos and for our guest, we went with cupcakes. The display was beautiful and well received! We had three different flavors for the cupcakes which was so useful because we were able to provide our guest with options. I was even able to adjust the headcount a few weeks before the wedding! I received nothing but compliments on our cupcake selection and our small cutting cake was exactly what I wanted.

Special thanks to Kristi who helped me with everything! She is so patient and willing to work with you on any customization you might need.

The cake was delicious. Can we end with that? Well to be more specific, the cake was the right density (it had some bite but wasn't a brick), it was moist, and the flavors were amazing. I got three flavors: white cake with almond filling, white cake with raspberry and custard filling, and lemon cake with white chocolate mouse. Each flavor was "taste-able" (ok it's a made-up word but I mean to say that the description of the flavor is exactly what I tasted) but not artificial or saturated by sugar. I can't wait to have another excuse to order another cake from them!

I loved Jen's cakes! Chris and I made a tasting appointment and loved a couple of the flavors. We knew we didn't want a huge cake so we opted for a small 6" cake and desserts. We got 3 different flavors of mini cupcakes- raspberry white, red velvet, and chocolate mocha, as well as chocolate covered strawberries and rice krispies (our fave desserts). This was more ideal for us because our guests had options of trying a few different things out and didn't even need a plate! They were very affordable as well and the set up at our venue looked beautiful. I had someone else return the stands and such after the wedding for us (you have up to a week after the even to turn in rentals) since we left for our honeymoon the next day. Overall, I was very happy with the service and quality from Jen's cakes!

Although the cake vendor was provided through our venue, I highly recommend Jen's Cakes! The hardest part was deciding between the flavors because each and every one of them was delicious!!

The cake was delivered on-time and absolutely beautiful. I had our florist add flowers to the beautiful cake and it looked amazing! It tasted even better than it looked! Guests couldn't stop talking about how great it was!

I checked all the reviews, went to the shows, did some tastings and was amazed by the superiority of Jen's Cakes. What's really funny is that I had remembered that my sister had an awesome cake at her Wedding...when I told her that I found a vendor that would rival hers, we discovered that we had both hired Jen's Cakes. Everybody loved the cake and it was gorgeous - picture perfect.

Jen's cakes was the best! I worked with Kristi during my wedding planning and she is such a sweet person to work with. The cake and mini cupcakes were delicious and beautiful! My guests loved the cupcakes and most of it were all gone by the end of the night! We were able to take some home at the end of the night so that was a great treat for the next day. Thank you!

We ordered our wedding cupcakes as well as a single 6-inch cake from Jen's cakes, and we couldn't be happier. The cupcakes came out beautifully with lovely purple and blue flowers on each cupcake as we requested to match our wedding colors. The cakes were all equally delicious (chocolate with fudge frosting & lemon with cream cheese frosting.) All our guests raved about them and many went back for seconds!

Jen was very flexible with us changing the number of cupcakes we needed twice since we booked her a year in advance. The tasting was very helpful to figure out the flavors we wanted, and they had wonderful suggestions about how to decorate the 6-inch cake to match our wedding decor since we had nothing in mind. She also lent us a cupcake tower to hold all the cakes and display them beautifully before we dug in!

As we arrived at the venue, the cupcakes were being artfully arranged right on time, and everything was taken care of just wonderfully without me having to worry or stress at all. I really appreciate this wonderful vendor and recommend them to anyone!

Jen's Cakes made us the most beautiful wedding cake! It was a ruffled design and turned out absolutely gorgeous! Her cakes are absolutely delicious too. Everyone who came to our wedding kept telling us that our cake was the best they have ever had! Our wedding was on the hottest day in June and Jen came back mid reception to move our cake to the outdoor reception area just so it would be able to stay inside longer! She was a joy to work with and we highly recommend her if you want a beautiful and delicious cake!

First off, i already had a preferred baker on site at my venue but i chose to pay extra and go with an outside baker after i did a free tasting with jen. At the tasting, she came out with a tray of several delicious flavors. I chose to go with cupcakes and she was able to still present them elegantly at my wedding. The simple design of the cupcakes and the flavors were perfect. Her cupcakes are also super moist! They are organized and arrived on time and had the setup ready to go before guests arrived. Thank you for the delicious cupcakes!!

We worked with Jen's Cakes for our wedding cake and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! Our initial cake tasting with them was the first indication that they would be great. Strangely enough, I was wasting away with the flu at the time, so my fiance (now husband) had to go to the tasting by himself. As I listened in over the phone, I could tell how he loved everything he tried. Wishing that I could have some, I thought I simply had to opt out of this one until a later date. Luckily, the ladies at Jen's Cakes were so awesome, they prepared a sampling of several cakes for my husband to take home to -- talk about pre-emptive service!

As I tasted each of them, it was a no-brainer that we would have to work with them for our wedding -- I mean, how often does one find wedding cakes super tasty? Let's face it: most wedding cakes have a reputation for being vaguely reminiscent of cardboard. Especially if they are attractive cakes. But Jen's creations appeared to be beautiful AND delicious -- AND, their prices were by far and away the best deal we had found in our exhaustive searching.

Hashing out ideas for a cake that resonated to our fairy tale theme with our chosen flavors, we were very happy with our plan. Yet closer to the date, I wondered about the gold airbrushed look we'd chosen -- would it be exactly what we wanted? What if we wanted a more metallic look? Well, of course we wanted a more metallic golden look (believe me it looked royal, not tacky ;-)

In response to my inquiry about wanting a more heavy dry-brushed gold appearance, Jen did us a HUGE favor and gave us exactly what we wanted without increasing the price -- and believe me, this adjustment was actually an up-charge.

And gloriously, on the wedding day, I beheld a gorgeous golden cake with scrolls -- one that looked totally fairy tale, totally royal, and totally expensive (even though it wasn't). It was definitely a conversation piece in and of itself! But still . . . what about the taste? It's easy to make cake taste moist and delicious in small samples, but how would it be for the real deal in large quantities?

Absolutely amazing. When my husband and I cut the cake and tried a bite, I was overwhelmed by how it tasted even BETTER than when I'd tried it the first time. Seriously, this was unbelievable: how could something be so beautiful and affordable and delicious at the same time? It really was the best wedding cake I've ever tasted and I am a very tough critic.

As could be expected, the cake was demolished by people who came back for seconds, and finally, thirds. Indeed, I was not the only one who adored this cake. Luckily, we did make arrangements to save the top tier so that we can once again enjoy a delicate slice on our first year anniversary.

. . . . So, f you decide to work with Jen's cakes, I imagine your experience will be rather similar ours! Needless to say, I highly recommend.
P.S. Don't forget to preserve the top tier!!!

Jen and her staff were amazing. We literally gave them a sketch of what we wanted and it came out beautifully. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding cake. Now to say that the cake looked good is an understatement. And the better part is that the cake tasted amazing! My guest are still talking about the cake. I can't wait to eat the topper at our one year Anniversary.

Yummy cakes & great service. We selected red velvet and coconut cupcakes with a small cake on top so we could cut it. We had a fall wedding so we had them add these beautiful chocolate leaves to the display. Everything was delicious & our guests raved about the cupcakes.

Jen's cake was included in our event package so it was nice not to have to worry about selecting a cake vendor. We simply went in for our tasting and selected two delicious flavors (White cake w/ raspberry & cream cheese filling, and chocolate cake w/ dulce de leche filling---our fav!) We chose the texture design and they placed some flowers from our florist around the base and on top. It was simple, but beautiful and completely stress free.

My cake was a hit. The staff at Jen's cakes were great to work with and personable. I showed up the day before my wedding with 3 dozen roses and the guy just smiled and said they would take care of it. The cake was gorgeous and yummy. My favorite was the strawberry and cream cheese filling. I was a Catering Manager in the San Jose area for 6 years and I always sent my clients to Jen's. Now that I have had their service myself I will continue to rave about them.

Jen and Anthony were absolutely fantastic to work with. The cake came out exactly how I wanted and it was even better than the cake tasting! We had a wedding of about 130 people and we had enough cake for 150 and at the end of the night there wasn't one single slice left. Some of our guests had 2 or 3 slices of the cake because it was so good! Anytime that I need a cake in the future I'm going back to Jen's Cakes! Completely to die for!

We ordered cupcakes from Jen's Cupcakes as an addition to our wedding cake. Let me tell you, those cupcakes went SO FAST, I didn't even get to try one! Bride and groom missed out, because they were so popular. Everyone was asking me where they were from and were dying to have more.

Aside from having delicious cupcakes, Jen was awesome to work with. Responsive, efficient, reliable, and so sweet. I would recommend this vendor to all brides-to-be :).

Jen's Cakes just did our wedding cake a few weeks ago on June 27th 09 and I was so pleased to A: Visually have the cake designed exacty how I wanted it in the exact shade of light pink that I wanted and B: Taste super good! Sometimes it is hard to find a cake that looks and tastes good but we scored with Jen. We had two flavors as well: banana cake with cream cheese buttercream and double chocolate kaluha cake with buttercream and both flavors were yummy! Most of my planning and coordinating was done with Jen's husband Anthony, who was a pleasure in working with. We would highly recommend Jen's Cakes without a doubt and hope to go back for a possible Anniversary cake someday!

Jen's Cakes did an AMAZING job on our cakes! We had a three-tiered square cake and a groom's cake in the shape of a Super Nintendo game system (for my husband). Both turned out AMAZING! Not only did they look fantastic, they tasted delicious as well. I love cake and was so very very pleased with Jen's work. Jen and Anthony were great to work with too!

We went with German Chocolate Cake with Dulce de Leche filling, White Cake with Raspberry Cream Cheese filling and Red Velvet cake with Cream Cheese filling. ALL SO DELICIOUS!

By far the most delicious cake my finace and I tasted. It was difficult to settle on just 2 flavors but we finally chose coconut and carrot cakes. The coconut cake was all the rave at the wedding. Multiple people confessed to have 2 and even 3 pieces!!! The design was simple and elegant, exactly what we asked for. On time delivery, hassle free, couldn't be happier with the service and price. Absolutely beautiful cake! Jen and Anthony were great to work with. The price was very reasonable. I can't even begin to describe how incredible the cakes tasted as well! We had 2 different flavors (because we couldn't decide) 2 layers one flavor and 1 layer a different flavor. Our guests were very happy with the cake. (I've even had friends order cakes from Jen's Cakes since.)

I've been to weddings with beautiful cakes that were inedible. I've also seen cakes that weren't so pretty, but tasted good. Jen's Cakes will not only make you the best tasting cake around, but it will no doubt be beyond your expectations in both taste and appearance!

LOVED THE CAKE!! I emailed a picture of the design we were looking for and she got it. The cake was so moist and yummy, many of our guests requested a second slice. She outdid herself and I was so happy!

Jen's Cakes truly knows how to treat their brides! We had the best wedding cake tasting and believe me, every type of cake they serve is delicious! They also are willing to create your dream cake. I found a tiered cake I liked on pinterest and they were able to recreate it to a tee. And I can not stress how delicious the actual cake is! Our cake was through a package with our wedding venue, the Ranch Golf Club. I thought since it was a packaged deal we would be limited on our options but that was hardly the case. When we met with Jen's Cakes for our tasting and to discuss design, I was surprised that we only had to pay a minimal fee for the additional design elements (sugar flowers) that I wanted. Plus, the entire staff were all very friendly and easy to talk too. We met with Gabe, and he was very helpful on giving recommendations about the design of the cake. The cake turned out exactly how we pictured, if not better! On top of that, it tasted delicious! We went with coconut and white chocolate mousse and then chocolate with mocha truffle fudge split. We keep hearing from our guests that they were trying to swipe pieces of cake from other people because they wanted more!

Working with Jen's Cakes was great! Anthony was our primary contact and he was very helpful. During our tasting, we had an idea of what we wanted as far as decorations on our cake/cupcakes, but Anthony offered some ideas and they were perfect! They executed our vision perfectly! The three flavors we had were delicious, especially the red velvet. People raved about it!

I primarily was in contact with them via email and there were some times when a response was a bit slow, but the response did come.

We can't wait to eat our top tier on our first anniversary! We still have some cupcakes frozen that we can enjoy, too!

My brother and his wife recommended Jen's Cakes as they used them for their wedding a couple of years ago. Although cake tasting seems like the most fun part of wedding planning, we only went to Jen's Cakes and we immediately ordered our cake! The flavors were so delicious. We only needed a 3-tier cake unfortunately, so it was hard to narrow down the flavors. All our guests loved the cake and they STILL talk about it a year later! We ordered a cake right out of their sample pictures - we wanted something simple, 3 squared off-centered tiers, buttercream frosting and black ribbon....easy! The only problem was the cake started melting before dinner was served, so our cake toppers fell off :( That was probably more to do with the temperature in the dining room.

Jen's Cakes made my gorgeous 3-tier wedding cake for just $4/slice. I honestly expected to pay so much more considering I wanted three flavors with three different fillings. And I had done tons of research and saw other bakers charing between $6-$8...But nope. I told them my budget, and they didn't try to upsell me or make me pay more. Rhey respected my budget, and offered up tons of suggestions. At the tasting, we were presented with 10 different cakes and fillings to try....oh my goodness, I have to tell you..I am NOT a cake/sweets person, but Jens Cakes are to DIE for. They don't just make pretty cakes, the cakes are fresh, moist and oh-so delicious.

We ended up choosing german chocolate with dulce de leche filling for the top tier, red velvet with cream cheese filling for the middle tier, and white cake with white chocolate raspberry for the bottom tier. And Jen even called me personally as they were making my cake to give me updates so that I knew everything was being taken care of. I highly recommend Jen's. The entire staff is really friendly and they do amazing work. Thanks Jen!

I love Jen's Cakes! I was looking for a bakery for our wedding and came across Jen's Cakes. Going to any place to see if you're going to use them can be nerve wracking, but they were great. My fiance and I at the time, went to 2 other places. One place was ready to book right then and there, the other place....We never heard back and were considering them. But I knew all along I wanted Jen's Cakes. The cake tasting was amazing, they weren't too pushy about using them and lest us know whenever we were ready, they'd be willing to accommodate.

The flavors of cake combos were so good. We went with, chocolate cake and peanut butter, coconut with mango mousse ( my fav), and vanilla with Almond custard. It was so good. I wanted to make sure the cake was not only something I would like, but my guests would like as well. I wanted a simple design and they executed it. I'm so happy I went with them, we even get cakes for bdays just because we're extremely happy with Jen's Cakes

I highly recommend the chocolate with mocha filling and red velvet. Jen, Anthony and Gabe were very easy to work with. Jen also did some amazing touches (gold stars) on the cupcakes to compliment our movie theme!

Almost three weeks after my wedding and I'm still thinking about how wonderful the cake was. Everyone told me the bride never gets to eat the cake, but after our tasting with Jen's, I knew I had to eat it. I had three slices and wish I could have eaten more! The cake was beautiful and so tasty! They also did a groom's cake for us which was amazing! I supplied them with a sample picture of a St. Louis Cardinals baseball hat and viola! They made a cake that most people thought was a real hat. I can't say enough about Jen's Cakes!

Jen's cakes made my cake look just like the picture I gave them. It was so beautiful and worth more then every penny I spent. The only thing I would say is that one of the flavors that we choose had less filling then it did when we had our tasting. Nevertheless no one but us new that, they all love the taste and look of the cake. Everyone comment on it for days!

Jen's cakes does AMAZING work. Not only did our cake look amazing, it tasted even better. You will not find an easier wedding bakery to work with. The cost of their cakes is on par with other bakers of this caliber and it is well worth the price. My husband and I were going to forgo a wedding cake since we had a dessert bar provided by our venue and we are so glad we didn't. The cake stayed tasting great for well over a week after the wedding!

We really loved the flavor variety and options provided by Jen's cake. We picked out 3 flavors to have over 3 different layers and a sheet cake. The cake was moist and flavorful. The staff was flexible by adding the final touches to the cake at the venue as the florist was busy setting up ceremony site. The only thing I noticed was the 2nd and 3rd layer flavors were switched on the final product, however it was fine because we enjoyed all of the flavors we picked.

They were so easy to work with! The wedding cake tasting was delicious and they were so helpful with helping us choose a design since we had no idea what we wanted! Our wedding cake turned out EXACTLY what we had pictured in our minds and it tasted AMAZING!

I will definitely keep them in mind next time I need a cake!

We had our cake tasting here and several other places and this is the place we are choosing for our wedding cake! They are so organized and their cakes tasted amazing. They are willing to work with you on your cake design and flavors. The cake is moist and the fillings were so yummy. My fiance doesn't really like cakes, but he really liked theirs. We are most likely going to use them for our dessert bar too!

The yummiest cake I've ever had, especially the banana cake - yum!! The nicest people too, I would definitely use them again. In fact we already have for two birthday events.

A good option

When deciding on my cake vendor, I decided on Jen’s due to the extensive flavor list they offered and optional sweets buffet options (which I ultimately didn’t end up getting). I liked the tasting experience they offered, the other cake place I was speaking to didn’t offer this option. Prices are very reasonable. I had used them previously for my daughters first birthday and they had done a phenomenal job on her cake with all the details it required. For my wedding cake, I was slightly disappointed in the replication of the design I was looking for. It looked like they did an easier version of what I wanted. Small details only I would have noticed. Guests enjoyed the cake, I never got a chance to try it unfortunately. My biggest disappointment was when booking them, they offered cake stands at the time. Some where along the way they stopped and I was never notified. I discovered this fairly near to wedding day and had to scramble to find my own. I did find one but they delivered cake before we arrived and no one was willing to put my cake on top of the stand (too afraid to pick it up). I waisted my money, not getting the complete vision of what I wanted fulfilled. In spite of this, I do still recommend the company.

Jen's cake had the best tasting cake by far, however, as one reviewer stated they did lag a bit at times with their responses. Also, the cake was a bit smaller and looked a bit different than we had thought it would on our wedding day. It was still very nice, but we were slightly disappointed.

The cost of their cakes are definately on the higher end (they were the most expensive that we tasted), but they were (as stated before) the best tasting cakes by far.

They are pretty laid back (Jen and Anthony) and nice to work with overall.

The only reason why we didn't change bakers was that we signed the contract. We had a horrible experience just from the start that I became bridezilla with them. First of all, they were so quick to take my deposit and took about a month and a half to return all the signed documents. I had to make them change my wedding consultant as she was not very receptive. All the responses I got was "we are busy but we will get back to you in one week". One week became a month. Granted, I know May is wedding season/month and they are busy, but stick to what you tell your clients! After this disappointment, I was not expecting much of an execution. Although they proved me wrong and the cake and desserts were amazing! I'm glad they compensated for the quality of their cake as compared to their customer service.

We got our wedding cake made at Jen's cakes. Overall, they did a great job (the cake came out like we designed), however, they were very hard to get in touch with over the phone. It was also difficult to contact them via email (very slow response time) and arrange a meeting.
They are very busy, but the cake looked and tasted great.

Our cake was beautiful and all the desserts we ordered were delicious. We did have many issues with the communication of Jen's Cakes and their only 1 phone line where there was many back and forth phone tag conversations. The consultation was ok, the cake samples were good but the interruptions from only 1 person working on a saturday morning and others coming in to pick up their cake or drop off something was very frustrating.

Jen's portfolio was outstanding but disappointed on our wedding day. Our cake did NOT look like we had envisioned even after provided pictures of a cake to copy...and it was a simple design. The cake itself however was flavorful but the response time of the group is about a week average.
