When we saw the cake for the first time it blew our expectations out of the water

Best Wedding Cake Ever!

Thank you to Jenny, @jennys_wedding_cakes. I happen to find this Jenny just by chance and I am so glad I did! I wanted a classic yet beautiful and delicious cake, and Jenny delivered. We chose the raspberry champagne cake. It was a delicate vanilla French sponge cake filled with a champagne sabayon layered with raspberries and covered with a champagne buttercream icing. My only regret is that I didn't order a bigger cake. It was all gone at the end of the evening!!! This was the one thing I was really looking forward to for MONTHS in regards to my wedding reception. I strongly recommend Jenny for wedding cakes and I hope I have the opportunity to order another cake from her again!

Amazing experience!

We worked with Jenny's Wedding Cake for our big day earlier this month and could not have been happier. The cake was phenomenal with multiple guests commenting on how much they loved it! Jenny was able to meet all of our special requests and was super responsive throughout the process. The cake was also beautifully decorated. We are so happy with our decision and would recommend her to anyone getting married in the North Shore!

Delicious and Beautiful!

We were so happy with how our wedding cake turned out and how delicious it was. Jenny's work was beautiful and we are already counting down the days until our anniversary where we can have more (we froze the top of our cake)! My daughter used Jenny's Wedding Cakes for her wedding. Jenny was very accommodating and helped my daughter personalize her cake. The cake was beautiful. And it tasted amazing. At the end of the evening, there was none left. We would recommend Jenny's Wedding Cakes for your event.

Sophisticated, elegant, and delicious.

Jenny is more than a phenomenal baker: she is an artist first. My guests kept saying it was the most delicious wedding cake they'd ever tasted, and no wonder! Jenny made us a french sponge, champagne sabayon, and fresh raspberry cake with swiss-meringue buttercream frosting. It was wonderful. It was also the most beautiful creation, and everything from online communications, to the design process were a breeze. She even made our dual-tone monogram into a custom sugarwork decoration. Go ahead and hire Jenny - you won't regret it.

Professional, Beautiful and Delicious!

One of the highlights of our wedding was Jenny’s cake. We had a 3-tier cake, with the bottom tier having one flavor and the top 2 tiers having another flavor. As soon as we had the initial tasting with Jenny, we were sold. Every flavor sample Jenny gave us to try was delicious and would’ve been a hit at any wedding. In the end, we customised both of our flavors and Jenny executed them superbly. On the day of the wedding, delivery, setup and presentation of the cake was flawless. We were worried we might have ordered too much cake, but it was so popular with our guests that it had nearly all gone by the end of the night! To put it simply, no one need look any further than Jenny for an immaculate and absolutely delicious wedding cake.

Exceptional!

My husband and I hired Jenny’s Wedding Cakes for our June 2021 wedding at Hammond Castle. Prior to booking with Jenny, we had tastings with a few of the top-rated bakers in our area, but there was no comparison. Her cake is absolutely delicious- even my Polish mother-in-law, who is a wonderful baker herself, was very impressed. Of course the cake design was also beautiful. Jenny was able to draw up my dream cake using a few inspiration photos and it came out perfect. Thank you, Jenny!

Head and shoulders above the rest!

Jenny’s cake was stunning AND delicious -- we chose it after sampling several well-reviewed options in the Boston area and are very glad about our choice. (She came highly recommended by our planner.) She really understood intuitively the aesthetic of our wedding, and created a custom design featuring gold leaf and florals. All three flavors (chocolate with raspberry, sponge with lemon and vanilla, and carrot cake) were divine. We opted not to keep the cake top, and I wish we had -- not to save for a year, but rather to have fresh leftovers for the week after the wedding, as we barely got to enjoy the cake ourselves! Our guests raved about it.

The tastiest cakes in town!

A huge thank you to Jenny for making our wedding cake/cupcake dreams come true! I got married at the Mansion on Turner Hill and May and when looking for a bakery I came across Jenny's work. She does such an amazing job and her flavors are to die for! Our guests loved our display and loved our treats even more. Thank you so much!

Beautiful cutting cake

We loved our wedding cake! We did a small simple cake primarily for photos / cutting, and it came out spectacular. Jenny was able to work with us to make a gluten free cake as my wife has celiac, and was extremely adaptive to our specific requests on flavor and design. She even let us use her cake tray so we didn’t need to buy a separate one. Very easy to work with and would highly recommend!

Guests are still raving our our wedding cake six weeks later!

We hired Jenny to create our wedding cake, and it was out of this world. She gave us great suggestions, but you really can't go wrong picking anything she makes (as you will see at your tasting). Amazing!!! Wish I could eat this cake all the time!

The cake Jenny made for our wedding was not only delicious (like unreal delicious!!!), but it was also a work of art! At the tasting at Jenny's studio we felt truly listened to about our vision for our cake. Unlike other bakers who may just give you a slice or two to test flavors, Jenny actually sat down with us and literally drew a picture of what I was describing. The cake looked exactly as I had envisioned it! When I told Jenny I wanted to use sugared blueberries, she said she was going to do test runs and make sure they would not bleed on the frosting day of since it was a new idea. Her doing this made me so confident that she would make the perfect cake-- and boy did she deliver! 10/10!

Beautiful Custom-made Cake

Jenny created a beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding! I am gluten-intolerant, and most of the cake was a gluten-free raspberry chiffon cake. No one could even tell! It was that good! We are also grateful for her feedback during the design process. We were interested in a trendy geode cake design, and Jenny was capable of creating it. However, after learning more about the style of our wedding, Jenny kindly recommended something more timeless. I'm so grateful she did! The cake matched so many elements of our wedding including the ruffles and silver in my dress, the venue, and the flowers. It was so beautiful! We highly recommend Jenny's Wedding Cakes!

Amazing Wedding Cake

Jenny was simply awesome to work with. All of her rave reviews are well deserved. From my first contact with her through our wedding day she made the process simple and I knew we were in good hands. She's really organized, professional and creative. Our cake was nothing short of amazing both in the way it looked and tasted. Our wedding cake was stunning!! Jenny is simply the go to person for the best wedding cakes and there isn't a reason to look elsewhere. We ordered three different types of cakes for our wedding day and all were incredible! She has lots of options and none of the cakes are frozen ahead of time, all fresh and all super delicious. We brought Jenny a picture of a cake we liked off Pinterest and she executed better than the picture! Her professionalism and response are unmatched and she's been in the business for a long time and made herself available if we needed recommendations for other vendors. Super easy and great to work with. Don't go anywhere else, just book, and you will be extremely satisfied!

I cannot say enough about Jenny’s wedding cakes. My fiancé and I drove to Jenny’s store for a tasting and to discuss our vision for our cake. I was able to show Jenny a few pictures of designs I had come across online and next thing I know she is sketching out a cake for us. She was able to take the few pictures I had and truly bring our vision to life. She masterfully took each element we were hoping to use and created the perfect cake that incorporated all elements. She truly has a gift. After we designed our cake we were able to sample a few flavors she had made for us. Everyone had told me not to get too hung up on how cakes taste because it is more in how they look. Well, we tasted these samples and they were delicious! Beautiful and tasty cakes do exist! When our wedding cake was delivered it was even more beautiful than I had envisioned. Our guests didn’t stop talking about how great it tasted as well. If you are looking for a cake you must contact Jenny! I was so pleased with the final outcome. And besides the cake, Jenny is just a wonderful person. She is definitely someone I would want to be friends with outside of the wedding. How often do you say that about one of your vendors?

Jenny was such a joy to work with when designing our wedding cake. She was very responsive, timely, easy to work with, and we enjoyed our cake tasting with her. We absolutely loved our wedding cake. It was simple but elegant and tasted amazing. She offered typical but also specialty flavors that were delicious. We were able to have three flavors for our four-tiered cake and the guests enjoyed everything. Not a single slice left over! BEST CAKE EVER! Not only did it look beautiful but it was the most amazing tasting cake I’ve ever had. We had some picky cake eaters and they were raving about her cake! The frosting was to die for. Not only was our cake beautiful, but it was also crazy DELICIOUS! I have a gluten allergy and was so concerned that I wouldn't find a bakery that could make us a great-tasting Gluten Free (GF) wedding cake. My parents, fiance and I were blown away when we went in for our tasting -- the GF cake somehow tasted like regular non-GF cake, and was one of the tastiest cakes we have ever had. The flavors were so fun and creative, and most items could be made GF-- it was so nice having a selection of flavors I could choose from -- which is very rare for GF people. The design was also stunning and we could not have been happier. Love love Jenny and her amazing cakes!!

Jenny was fabulous to work with for our wedding. She was super accommodating during our tasting, graciously allowing a whole crew of us to come to her studio. Jenny created what was actually the best cake I have ever had! And she was so enthusiastic about our concept! We wanted to do a simple buttercream design and other bakers were trying to push us towards fondant, but Jenny was super affirming about our choice and her excitement made us feel good. And then the cake itself tasted amazing. Like, I wish I could eat that cake every day for the rest of my life. Even my new husband, the chocolate guy, loved our white wedding cake with lemon and strawberry. I highly highly recommend working with Jenny.

Before I get into our review, I have to say, Jen has extremely amazing character. The week of our wedding, Jen contacted myself about our final payment which she hadn't received yet. Come to find out, someone had stolen our final payment to Jen out of the mail and cashed it. When we explain the situation to Jen and apologized for the late payment – Jen double checked on her end that it wasn’t cashed by someone on her staff (which she explained only she handles the money), she called her bank to confirm, she then said she would provide us any information we needed to ensure it wasn’t cashed on her end so we could get our money back from our bank and followed up with us repeatedly to check in on the situation and apologized to us that we were going through this the week of our wedding! I don’t know about you, but that was above and beyond what I would've expected and really shows the type of person Jen really is and we are so honored that we had such a caring and understanding person working on our wedding day!

Below is our review of the day:

We cannot say enough good things about Jenny’s Wedding Cakes! From our first meeting to the cutting of our cake on our wedding day, Jen was such an easy and professional person to work with! Not only is she reasonable priced, but far superior in taste and all of our details were meticulously perfected! Due to food allergies, we had a few requirements, which Jen took on with a smile and with love that you could taste in the final product. Jen also went out of her way to contact our florist to ensure that the cake decorations were on theme with our winter décor! Not only did the cake look phenomenal, it tasted SO GOOD! My husband and I ended up going with 2 flavors of cake - salted caramel buttercream and homemade praline and a chocolate cake with a chocolate truffle – and both got such wonderful compliments from our wedding guests!
Please, look no further than Jenny Cakes! You WILL NOT be disappointed!

We were so happy we had Jenny bake our cake for our wedding in October. We started with a consultation where we got to taste some of her fun cake options. We settled on a 3-tier for 100 guests and got sheet cake to feed the rest of our guests. Jenny also made a separate gluten-free, dairy-free cake for our guests with food allergies. We were so pleased with the variety of flavors and options - including the allergy-friendly cake, we had four different cake options for our guests! On top of that, the 3-tier cake itself was absolutely beautiful. We also felt that Jenny was extremely reasonably priced for the quality of service. Highly recommend!!

Jenny had the most delicious cake, hands down, of any cake baker we visited before our wedding. We chose to do a gorgeous three tier cake for 100 guests with additional sheet cake to feed the rest (180 people attended). I could barely bring myself to cut the wedding cake, it was so gorgeous: ruffled buttercream on the top and bottom, with a light gold middle cake, and deep aubergine and white flowers cascading down the side. Jenny used inspiration from my Pinterest board to bring my dream cake to life (although a very short lived life, since there weren't many leftovers!). Our flavors were: chocolate hazelnut, peanut butter-chocolate, banana praline, and spiced pumpkin with cream cheese frosting. Our guests loved the cake! Jenny can also do extra desserts for people who don't eat cake, and she made us a small gluten free cake upon request. Her timing was super flexible, to give us as much time as we needed to decide on our flavors. Jenny only does a limited number of weddings to ensure that she doesn't overbook herself, and I really appreciated the professional courtesy of knowing that we would be her top priority on our wedding day.

Jenny was an absolute pleasure to work with. We live in New York and had to cram a lot of planning into short trips up to Boston. Jenny was so flexible in scheduling our tasting, and we had a great time sitting with her and looking through all the gorgeous cakes she had designed. We wanted a gluten free cake, and Jenny had delicious options - none of the guests knew it was gluten free, and many commented on how flavorful it was.

When planning an out of town wedding, you need to rely on reviews, which we did in choosing Jenny. It was a great decision as all were so accurate. She was so accommodating in planning our tasting around our schedule and didn't mind our toddler grandson crawling around her lovely tasting room. The cake was delicious, and even the bride, who doesn't eat sweets, broke down and enjoyed every bite. Highly recommended!!!

Jenny is simply the best! She is so flexible, accommodating and friendly, we felt like we were working with an old friend. She hosted us at a private and complementary tasting, and though she has dozens of flavors to choose from, we ended up choosing two of the flavors we sampled that day because they were just that good. She worked with us to design a totally unique and personal cake that matched the feel and the decor of our reception flawlessly. During our time working together, one of the kindest things Jenny did was allow us to use her gorgeous cake stand free of charge, provided we were able to return it to her office within a few weeks. Her pricing was extremely fair too, especially due to her popularity in my area. I expected to pay much more than I did for 200+ guests. Jenny was a preferred vendor of our venue, and its very clear why. Do not hesitate to give Jenny your business, she will not disappoint!

Our cake from Jenny’s was fabulous. Jenny is so friendly and easy to work with, when I described my vision for our cake she knew exactly what I was looking for. The hardest part was picking flavors, as she has so many wonderful flavors to choose from. We actually asked for one layer in funfetti and she delivered with no problems! Our guests absolutely loved the cake, and we could not have been happier!

The wedding cake serves as a centerpiece for your wedding, and if you go with Jenny's Wedding Cakes, you will have one of the most beautiful and delicious focal points! We went with a traditional white buttercream cake, with some piped lace detail and fresh peonies. It was absolutely stunning! Our flavors were bittersweet chocolate and limoncello, both of which were decadent. It was hard to stop eating the leftovers and save the top for the 1st year anniversary :)

Jenny was recommended to us by our Venue, Wedding Cake is hard to choose because wedding cake is wedding cake. When we met with Jenny she was very inviting and attentive, we were looking for something a bit different then a traditional two or three tiered cake. We decided on three different cakes, displayed separately with all different flavors. The second cake would be two tiers and would be a cohesive look. She showed us different ideas and past cakes as examples. We were able to try several different flavors at our tasting , all delicious ! She also had beautiful stands that she rented to us for free that fit our theme and venue. She dropped off the cakes and set them up the day of without a peep, even the staff at our venue expressed how gorgeous they were ! All of our guests raved about the different cakes all night and weeks later are still taking about how tasty they all were ! I would recommend Jenny's Cakes for any cake needed , not just wedding cakes !

Jenny's Cakes was fabulous! The customer service and the cake was amazing. When you do the tasting, you go to Jenny's beautiful brick house in Amesbury and enjoy a variety of different flavors/types of cakes while she explains everything to you. She also lends you a beautiful silver tray for the cake on your wedding day. The cakes were all delicious, and we loved the strawberry lemon one we ordered.

Jenny was wonderful to work with, and right around the corner from us in Amesbury. We loved her work after reviewing it online, and after tasting her cakes we were sold. The cake came out wonderfully - all of our guests raved about it. Jenny worked with Donna at Pepperberry's Flowers to add real flowers to the cake, which made it really special. We would definitely recommend Jenny to anyone looking for special occasion cakes or desserts on the North Shore!

Jenny is so sweet and was easy and fun to work with. She listened to what I wanted and came up with several sketches for me to choose from. All of the cakes we sampled were amazing. Not only was the cake delicious, but it was even more beautiful than I could have imagined (even after looking at hundreds of Pinterest pics!). She even brought her own beautiful cake stand. It was definitely the wedding cake of my dreams!

Jenny is a true artist. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she set about creating a completely unique, one of a kind, sophisticated, wedding cake. Besides her elegant cake decorations, her cakes are delicious! One of my friends commented "I thought wedding cake was suppose to be sweet and gross- this is some of the best cake I've ever had!" Her gluten free cake is also to die for- she created a small cake just for my husband who is gluten free and you could barely tell the difference between it and the regular cake.

Jenny's cakes are incredible. I actually decided against a dessert and went with cake instead as Jenny's cakes were so good. There was not one piece of cake left as guests were going for 2nd's and 3rd's it was so good and we had over catered! Her butter cream frosting is just mouth watering. I would highly recommend Jenny and plan on using her for any future cake needs that I have.

What do you want in a wedding cake? It should be beautiful and taste fabulous. There you have it. That is Jenny's Wedding Cakes in a nutshell. I am mother of the groom. The bride and I went to a tasting at Jenny's. The bride felt an immediate kinship with Jenny (I felt an immediate kinship with the cakes) and was comfortable describing what she wanted. Jenny whipped out some paper, started doodling a design, discussed possibilities and the two of them came up with a wonderfully whimsical design of a three tiered, round cake with different flavors on each layer. When I saw the finished product I actually gasped. It was gorgeous. And yes, it tasted fabulous...although I only got to try one layer (chocolate with hazelnut - moist, chocolatey and yummy). I wanted to try the white cake with raspberry filling but that disappeared. Also a good sign. We didn't check out other cake vendors so I can't speak to the price, only to the result. We were more than satisfied in every respect.

I wanted a wedding cake that is simple and elegant, yet has its presence at the wedding. I wanted to spend as little money as possible on my cake because it just wasn't my priority. And Jenny made it happen.

Just from one meeting, she created this beautiful cake that allowed me to spend SO little amount of money. She was extremely creative in designing this cake that I had envisioned. And guess what? It was the BEST WEDDING CAKE I'VE EVER TASTED!!

I am sooo glad I found Jenny and would recommend her to ANYONE!

Wonderful wedding and grooms cake. Jenny captured both cakes exactly as my daughter described. My new son in law is an avid hunter and my daughter wanted a grooms cake to match. It was a work of art, from the design of the cake to look like a tree stump, with hot hands, a gun and deer and the little acorns on the sides, was such a conversation piece. And the cakes themselves were delicious. Highly recommend Jenny!!!

Our cake was fantastic!! Jenny was so helpful on the phone and through emails, and came up with a very simple and classy design for our cake which fitted exactly in with what I had explained to her as my vision. The flavors were spectacular and the cake itself was so fresh... I am not a cake or dessert person at all, and I wanted seconds of this stuff! Jenny makes all her cakes from fresh and natural ingredients, so the raspberries in the cake were the real stuff and were out of this world. The thing that stuck out for us with Jenny was the fact that she bent over backwards to create a Groom's Cake for us which was an English fruit cake (my husband is English). We sent her the recipe and although she'd never before made this kind of cake, she took care of the whole thing for a very small extra fee which was nothing compared to the amount of work that went into this mini cake. English fruit cakes have to be "fed" alcohol over the course of a month prior to eating it, so Jenny literally worked on this cake for us for a whole month, feeding it little bits of alcohol every so often. She really went above and beyond in that respect, and her design for the cake was so creative and exactly in line with some photo ideas I had given her. She was great! I would totally recommend her, especially over some of the bigger cake shops because her style is so personalized and her ingredients are top notch.

After meeting with another cake vendor and being disappointed not only in the taste but the mass-production, we found Jenny. Not only was the tasting warm, inviting and delicious, but sitting with her in her cozy house while she sketched our cake was such an exciting experience. She had so may flavors to choose from. We ended up with 3 types of cake (one tasting like banana bread, one chocolate with toffee crunch and and one yellow with a passion fruit and raspberry puree). We were trying to accommodate different palates. She did this in a manner that seemed effortless and was really able to work with us on having an elegant and earthy design while keeping it simple and beautiful. Seeing it took our breath away. Definitely talked about days after by wedding guests.

There is no cake like a Jenny cake! Jenny is a lovely woman, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her cakes are made from scratch and she uses noting but the best ingredients. She is more than a pastry chef, she is an artist! Her portfolio is amazing and she deserves more than the awards and credit she's already received. Our cake was very simple with fresh flowers, but she created exactly what I wanted and the unique flavors or Pumpkin Spice and Toffee Mocha had our guest talking! I'm beyond happy with our choice to work with Jenny!

Jenny's cake is still being talked about. It was exquisite. We wanted a beach theme and she delivered a gorgeous cake with beach grass and gates and Adirondack chairs on top. It not only looked fantastic, it tasted delicious -- light and fluffy with tangy raspberry and key lime fillings. So good.

Jenny is absolutely fabulous! I met with five cake vendors, and we loved Jenny's cakes. Her flavors are inspiring and so, so tasty. We ordered quite a few sample cakes during the 15 months we were engaged. For our wedding cake, we had three fabulous flavors (Banana Praline, Lemon Raspberry, and Bittersweet Chocolate). My husband doesn't even like sweets, much less cake. But he found himself eating quite a bit of these cakes as they are made with such high quality ingredients that they are a feast for the senses as opposed to simply being "cake."

Jenny worked with me to design a beautiful cake inspired by the antique ring box my husband used to propose to me. It was such a beautiful design! So many complemented me at the wedding on the gorgeous cake and wonderful flavors! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Jenny is fabulous and reasonably priced. I would only recommend Jenny's Wedding Cakes!!

Jenny's cake for my wedding was incredible! So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and tasty the cake was. She spent so much time listening to us that somehow she made a cake I had no pictures of, that had existed only in my imagination. I then went back to the people at Tupper Manor and asked if they had any other suggestions. They told me about Jenny's and I couldn't have asked for a better vendor! Jenny's Wedding Cakes provided the cake for my daughter's Castle Hill wedding (Ipswich) on July 24, 2010. It was incredibly delicious and exquisitely beautiful. She recreated a design from the embroidery of the Vera Wang bridal dress...simply amazing. It was the entrance piece in the foyer which amazed all who walked through the doors. Jenny probably can do anything and her prices are also quite reasonablle.

I nearly drool upon just thinking about our wedding cake! Jenny produced the perfect combination of beautiful cake architecture and scrumptious flavor. It was super important to us that our cake taste as good as it looked and Jenny seriously delivered! Her prices are great and the service is amazing but nothing compares to having a cake that guests actually *want* to eat! Jenny made the cake that I envisioned for my wedding day, AND it tasted delicious! Jenny's cakes are the best I have EVER tasted. When my husband and I went to meet her for the first time, we were pleasantly surprised to see that she bakes out of her home. (This cuts costs that you'd otherwise pay at a bakery). For the tasting, she brought out 3 different flavors (that were chosen for us). All of them were delicious, however, we wanted carrot cake which we were unable to taste. In order to taste it, we'd need to buy a small cake from her for $30. BUT, we were excited by the fact that we'd be tasting it for the first time at the wedding. We KNEW it'd be delicious, and it was! It was decorated so beautifully too. I was blown away by how fair her prices were. The total cost of the cake was maybe $300 less than we had budgeted. On the day of our wedding, there was a mix up with who would have the check at our reception site for her. Jenny didn't bother us for the payment until over a week later! She was so polite about it. Just an overall nice, professional person to work with.

Jenny was great to work with. She welcomed us at our meeting with her very gracefully and we knew, right there and then, that she was the one for us. Jenny had a great eye for detail and made us wonderful cupcakes. And of course, not only were they elegant and beautiful, they were also delicious! I highly recommend her! :)

If you want an exceptional wedding cake, Jenny's Cakes is the place to go. Her cakes not only look beautiful, they are absolutely delicious. She offers so many unique flavors that it was hard to choose. She worked with us to create a design that was perfect for our wedding theme. She handmade peonies for the cake that were so real looking our guests thought we had real flowers on the cake. We were so pleased that we've gone back to purchase a sample cake so we could enjoy her wonderful creations all over again.

My fiance and I met with Jenny at her house before the wedding to plan what we wanted and do a cake tasting. As we were talking with Jenny, my fiance had the idea to design our own cake. Jenny was more than willing to go along with this and was excited about doing something different for us. We drew up a quick design and later sent more details via email. She created a wonderful cake that was just what we wanted. We also had cupcakes and they had the cutest flower toppings on them. The cake and cupcakes were delicious and a big hit. I would highly recommend Jenny. She was incredible nice and friendly and did an amazing job displaying the cake and cupcakes for us as well.

Jenny was one of my favorite vendors. She was great to work with and designed the cake that I wanted to fit my venue. She did three cakes for us including the wedding cake, a groom's cake and a small birthday cake for a family member. Not only did the cakes look beautiful but they were delicious! Guests were raving about flavors!

After going to a better known local bakery and being hugely dissappointed in the options, tasting, service, and price, we found Jenny through a friend. She was great! Super friendly, easy to arrange a visit, flexible, had a lot of ideas, and her cakes were fantastic! We were intent on having buttercream frosting instead of the sugary one and she didn't charge extra unlike the other place. Who wants to pay more than $1000 for a cake for 130 people??? Everyone at the wedding LOVED the cake and wanted to know who the baker was. The decoration and presentation were also top notch. We highly recommend Jenny's Wedding Cakes! We will be going back to her on our one year anniversary to make us a mini cake for us to celebrate (frozen cake tops might not do it).

Jenny was wonderful to work with. She had a taste testing meeting with us which was alot of fun. Her final product was outstanding, appealing both to the eye and the pallette! Outstanding. Highly recommended. She is extrememly talented! I can't wait until our one year anniversary to have the cake again! We wrapped it well and placed it in the freezer and I am betting it will be as good as the day it was baked!

Jenny's Wedding Cakes was recommended to me by a close friend whose niece had used this vendor; my friend told me it was the most delicious cake she had ever had at any wedding. Working with Jen was very easy; she has an extensive portfolio and the cake tasting was my husband's favorite part of all of our wedding planning activities. The cake she made for our wedding was simple, beautiful and delicious - exactly what we wanted. Our friends and family were lining up for the leftover cake after the wedding!

We went to a few cake tastings before choosing Jenny's Cakes.
Above and beyond, hers were the best tasting and we loved her flexibility with budget, design, and flavors, and her good nature.

It's nice to support a person doing what she loves from a small shop instead of a huge bakery. On our big day, our cake was gorgeous, on time, tasted great, and she brought the perfect cake stand for us to borrow for free. It's clear that she's a pro at this.

My best friend used Jenny's Cakes 12 years ago for her wedding cake, and I'm so glad we went with her too. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Jenny invited us to her personal home to try her delicious cake flavors. She was very accommodating to our weird schedule for our tasting, and nice enough to lend us her silver platter for the actual cake on the day of the wedding. Her cake looks like pieces of art... and the flavors are delicious, too!

The cake. You want it to be beautiful and taste better than it looks. I only had the bite at the cake cutting but it was tasty. Not quite what I had expected it to look like but I think we were way too flexible.

Jenny was so wonderful during the entire wedding cake planning process! My husband and I both have dietary restrictions that needed to be accommodated (husband- nuts; wife- lactose intolerance). Jenny was amazing in giving us options to try that accommodated both of our restrictions that were so yummy! At our wedding, we had a cake (that we could BOTH eat!!) that was beautiful and absolutely delicious. Thank you Jenny!!!!

We chose Jenny's Wedding Cakes over other bakeries because she is consistently praised for how delicious her cakes are. The taste of our cake was most important to us and Jenny did not disappoint. Guests raved about how delicious our cake was, and loved that there were three flavors to choose from. Jenny was very helpful in designing a beautiful cake that was in line with our budget. Overall I was very happy with our cake and my only complaint is that the cake stand she used was not elegant and did not fit with our wedding. It was a chipped wood white stand that, quite frankly, ruined the look of the cake and the photos of the cake. I wish I had been more explicit with Jenny about what I expected for the stand and I wish she had been more specific in describing the "white cake stand" she told me she was planning on using for our wedding cake. I even expressed concern about her choice in stand before seeing it and did not hear back before the wedding. My review would be 5/5 if it were not for the stand situation.

Jenny was terrific to work with. She accommodated a challenging list of food allergies and managed to make a cake that all of our guests enjoyed! Many guests commented on how delicious it was and had no idea it was "allergy-friendly" (one particularly excited guest said he went around and finished off other people's plates it was so good!).

After trying out wedding cakes at about 6 bakeries, we chose Jenny's Wedding Cakes because her design and cakes were by far the best. She took my idea and designed a cake that was better than what I had imagined! And the cake options were SO GOOD! She had options that I would've never thought of, and they were all delicious. Jenny delivers and styles the cake - she lets you use her very nice cake stands for free (as long as you return them back to the shop), which was very nice. Her pricing is on the higher end of what we were looking at. She was a little hard to get a hold of, but always got back to us eventually - and was definitely worth waiting for!

My only suggestion would be to make sure you request the cakes you want to try at the tasting. She put together a plate for my tasting without any indication from me as to what flavors I was interested in. The cakes we got to try were all delicious, but they weren't the flavors I was looking for. After the tasting, you have to buy sample cakes for $40 if you want to try anything else. I ended up settling on a flavor, but I would've liked to have been able to explore more options without paying $40 per test.

With the exception of the tasting, I am very happy that we chose Jenny and would highly recommend her.

Jenny has wonderful reviews on this site and came recommended from my wedding venue and from my florist. We had a consultation that went well, she seemed to completely understand my vision and offered ways to improve upon it, I thought we were totally on the same page and didn't have any concerns at all, especially since I wasn't contacted with any questions about the design closer to the wedding. The cake that arrived at my wedding was not what we had talked about, I was disappointed, because I really thought we were on the same page about the design, not only was the cake not the design I was expecting, I did not find it to be a pretty cake in general. I just wish if there had been confusion about the design, that I had been asked questions, rather than being surprised at my wedding. The cake was delicious, we had three flavors and each one was excellent. As an FYI, we originally were hoping to do bottom layer in foam to make the cake larger, without adding more cake, which we knew would be too much for guest size, Jenny does not do false cake layers, which I respect.
