I worked with Jen to find my perfect dress, and it was everything I could've asked for and more. The atmosphere was so calming and serene which definitely helped the excitement and nervousness that I had going into my appointment. Jen gave the perfect amount of input and support throughout the entire session and made me feel so comfortable. I have passed this bridal shop on many occasions since I was a little girl, and I feel so grateful to have my younger self's dreams come true.

One special experience
Being from the area, I knew about Jennifer's great reputation, so when I got engaged I did not have to think twice about where I was going to shop for my dress. To no surprise, Jennifer's lived up to their amazing reputation, had just the ultimate gown selection that accommodated a range of budgets and visions, and made for the most special and perfect experience.
My ladies and I were warmly welcomed into this absolutely beautiful and quaint boutique by Amy, my amazing consultant. Amy was so knowledgable, made the most perfect suggestions after we discussed my vision and my venue, gave honest feedback, never rushed us, and was beyond patient with me when I had to try on my final two dresses time-and-time again. Amy truly made for a special experience as I found my dream bridal gown.
I then met Jen when I went back to try my dress on after it came in. Jen is just a special and wonderful human being who will always hold a special place in my heart for elevating my experience as a Jennifer’s bride to the next level. I could thank Jen over-and-over again for making my experience as a Jennifer's bride that much more special. Jen helped me find the most perfect (custom) veil that just added even so much more to my already beautiful gown. Jen also made me feel like a princess and gave me the confidence boost I needed to look in the mirror and just feel outright beautiful. Jen always brought the best suggestions, wisdom, and so much excitement and enthusiasm. She always made for such a personable experience and always just took the time to talk with my mom and I to get to know us as people. Jen also always stopped by the alterations side of the store each time I was there to check in with us and to see me in my dress showing her dedication to her brides! It is so obvious that Jen is just so invested in her job, her brides, and just loves what she does!
Jen also did something extra special for me. The day I went to try my dress on, I fell in love with a little white dress that I wanted for my bridal shower. I ordered the dress, not knowing there was a surprise shower planned for me and the dress would not be in on time. When I found out about the shower just weeks before, I called Jen in panic because my little white dress would not arrive in time. Jen already knew about the predicament I was going to be in as my mom let her in on this surprise, spoke with my mom, devised a plan, and gave me the sample dress from the store (the fit PERFECTLY) so that I would get to wear this beautiful little white dress to my shower!
Another positive about Jennifer’s Bridal is that they have multiple in- house seamstress. I was assigned to the wonderful El. El is simply AMAZING at what she does and has the most tender and sweetest soul. She fit my dress so perfectly and spent hours designing the most beautiful and elegant bustle for my VERY long train.
I will always cherish being a Jennifer’s bride. Being a Jennifer's bride made my wedding era so much more special and I would highly recommend Jennifer’s Bridal to any bride!

Jennifer's Bridal is perfect. There are so many different dresses to choose from and they actually let you look through them! I was terrified at the thought of wedding dress shopping, but the team here made it such a great experience, I wish I could bring them to Nordstrom with me to try on jeans.

Found my absolute dream wedding dress here for my 10.27.23 wedding with the help of Jen who made me feel like family. I received so many compliments at my wedding, with some guests saying it was the most beautiful dress they’ve ever seen at a wedding. What a Fairytale Experience!
What an experience, was like a dream! I had visited several bridal boutiques and didn’t really fall in love with any of the dresses. When I finally visited Jennifer’s Bridal, there were SO MANY beautiful dresses to choose from all within budget! I was so floored! Of course the dress I ended up picking wasn't at all what I was looking for but I’ve heard they tends to happen! I put it on first and bawled la discontinued Hailey Paige dress which I had never heard of but I fell in love instantly!
I received so many compliments about how beautiful and different it was, which is exactly what I wanted! Different yet beautiful! The in-house alterations were also amazing! Susan did such a great job! The back of the dress was more open than I would have liked and Susan created a back piece that looked original to the dress! Workout needing to take any material from the train. It was so gorgeous and she was SO talented. She also helped repair my grandmothers old veil crown which I wanted to wear and it meant so much to me she was able to do that!
My overall experience with Jennifer’s was so amazing and all the ladies were so fun and just upbeat! They made me feel like a princess and were so incredibly kind. I HIGHLY recommend! Best dress buying experience ever!

The most incredible experience!
I had the absolute BEST experience at Jennifer’s! When I began this experience, I was nervous about trying on dresses and knowing what I would like for my wedding day. When I went there for the first time with my parents, we met Jen, who was the kindest, most knowledgeable, and patient person we could have ever asked for. She pulled dresses in my size for me to try on so I could envision what I would look like in them. This was the part I was nervous about, but they had a plethora of dresses close to my size for me to try on! What a relief!! Jen was extremely patient as my mom and I went back and forth between two dresses until making my final decision. Although I ordered a size down and the dress did not fit, Jen never once made me feel bad about the decision; rather, she worked with my parents and I to find a solution, calm our nerves, and had me work with Karen who is truly a magician! She added the most beautiful corset to the back of my dress to be sure I could wear my dream dress on my wedding day! She took her time throughout our fittings to ensure it was up to HER standards! Even though I thought everything looked perfect, she has such great attention to detail that she went back and altered it to be even more incredible. She also added the most beautiful bustle that was easy to tie the night of my wedding. It was so comforting that through every alteration appointment, Jen was there with me. We laughed through every appointment and truly had fun every time I was there! Again, although I mistakenly ordered a size down, Jen and Karen never made me feel guilty or negative about myself, rather than found the most beautiful solution to my problem. I drove an hour and a half to this salon and would not have traded it for the world. It is the only salon I went to and they made my experience memorable. Thank you to everyone for being absolutely incredible! You are all amazing and made me feel like the most special bride!!

Jennifer’s bridal is amazing! They have a huge selection in every price range for wedding dresses, accessories, bridesmaids and other formal dresses. Their store is so cute inside, clean and bright. Amy was a great consultant and actually picked the dress I ended up choosing. The tax free shopping is the icing on the cake!

I can not speak highly enough of Jennifer’s! I found my dream dress in my first shopping trip and enjoyed every minute of trying on gowns. My stylist made sure to pull a variety of silhouettes and fabrics so I could narrow down my options, and when I was between two choices, she allowed me time to try them on again and with different veils to complete the look. I felt like I was in such great hands throughout the entire process. I also went with their alterations department which was equally as wonderful! I’m so glad I went to Jennifer’s!

I found the dress I was dreaming of at Jennifer’s! We also picked out beautiful bridesmaid dresses too! Kayla and Jennifer were so helpful during the entire process and provided excellent customer service. The shop is so beautiful which definitely adds to the fun and excitement of finding the perfect dress. The dress I knew I wanted was out with a photographer when I arrived, and Kayla made sure that it was delivered in time for my appointment and luckily it was! Jennifer talked us through the beautiful details of the dress and helped me to make my decision. Kayla also helped me to create a custom veil, chapel length with mini pearls and rhinestones. I also loved working with Susan, she did a beautiful and careful job on the alterations. I think Jennifer’s is hands down the best lace to shop for your special day!

The BEST Store!
If you want to find your dream dress, Jennifer's is the place to go! I was able to find my dress before the pandemic hit, but I can't say enough about this place! Staff was so accommodating and made my experience unforgettable. Jen was my consultant and she made my family and I feel right at home. When she felt I was getting overwhelmed & discouraged, she took me into the dressing room and just let me have my moment...without anyone else's opinion and it was exactly what I needed! Perfect bridal shop
Jennifer's Bridal could not be more perfect. First of all, the shop itself is so beautiful with lots of natural light and a lovely, slightly rustic feel. The selection of dresses is incredible. On top of that, Jennifer (and I'm sure the other women too) is SO friendly and helpful. She knows her dresses and is fantastic at guiding you to THE dress. Once I had found my dress, Jennifer also recommended a style of bridesmaid dresses that would work beautifully next to my dress as they had similar fabric/flow. When I finally got to wear my dress next to all of my bridesmaids, I loved how romantic the dresses looked together. Jennifer's vision was perfect! I also selected my earrings from the shop (with Jennifer's help too) and received way more compliments than I ever expected on my earrings that night :) Everything was perfect!

After over five wedding dress appointments and no luck, I went to Jennifer's. Within an hour, I had found my dream dress. They have such a broad and unique selection, and they create a great experience when shopping there. Jennifer's is also extremely professional - I never once worried about my dress arriving or the fit. It was so helpful to have the tailoring in house, as they were familiar with the intricacies of my dress and were incredibly patient when I wanted to make some more specific alterations. Jennifer’s Bridal was #1 on my list of bridal salons to visit for a while. Every bride should go to Jennifer's Bridal in Hockessin! I can't say enough good things about this place. The store is beautiful, there seems to be an endless amount of dresses to choose from but the best of all is the staff - particularly Jen. She was patient, kind, listened to what I said and gave great advice. In the end, she wound up picking out my wedding dress! I cannot say enough amazing things about Jennifer's Bridal!
It was exactly the experience I was looking for when wedding dress shopping: laid back, stylish, friendly, comfortable, gorgeous options, the latest designs, reasonable prices, expertise, etc. I hate feeling rushed and pressured - so I was thrilled to have the opposite experience when dress shopping. At Jennifer's you get the feeling that everyone who works there loves their job and has a real passion for finding you the perfect dress.
Specifically, I worked with Jen as my consultant and she was incredible!! She had the vision to pick out my dress based on meeting me that very first day and was so sweet to stay in touch with me whenever I needed anything throughout the process. My dress was everything I could possibly have dreamed of and more! I was even able to rent a fur shrug directly from Jennifer's to complete my winter wedding look. Tax free shopping is also an obvious bonus to shopping in Delaware.
Susan was my expert seamstress - I felt immediately comfortable that she had worked with my design before and it fit me like a glove. I am not a local bride so I was especially appreciative how flexible she was with my fittings.
From the beginning of my dress journey to the end, Jennifer's was helpful, lovely and made me feel special. I would recommend them to every bride!!

Jennifer’s is the absolute best. They treat you with kindness, excitement, and professionalism from start to finish. I stressed, but shouldn't have! They are miracle workers!
I purchased my dress at Jennifer's in April 2018 for my January 2019 wedding. Becca made the appointment so enjoyable for myself and my family! I was concerned because I was a size 16 at the time and was not sure if they would have many dresses that I could really try on - but they did! I only tried on three dresses before I found the one, and it was nothing like what I had intended to buy. Becca realized what I actually wanted before I did! And to make it better - the dress I purchased was 50% off! I bought the floor sample and came very close to my original budget.
This review does not end here - over the months leading up to my wedding, I lost over 40 pounds, putting me at a size 10. I was terrified because the dress was a size 20 - I didn't know if they would be able to take in the dress that much! After some panicked emails, the shop assured me that everything would be okay. I went in for my first fitting and met Susan, their seamstress... SUSAN IS A MIRACLE WORKER. It only took two fittings for her to completely transform my dress and make it fit PERFECTLY. Susan made sure that every detail of my dress was perfect (and there were A LOT of details: lace, appliques, crystals, pearls, all over the dress)! I could not be happier with my experience at Jennifer's and would highly recommend them to anyone who wishes to feel calm and beautiful on their wedding day.

I'm obsessed with Jennifers!
I highly recommend shopping for your dream dress at Jennifer's. I purchased my gown at a trunk show in January of 2019 for our anticipated wedding in October 2020 (which got postponed to Halloween 2021 due to covid).
I was looking for something unique, romantic and a bit witchy for our Halloween wedding . Not only did Jennifer's deliver on finding me a dress that was unique, but something that really felt very me. During the appointment, Jennifer was very focused on finding what was right for me based on my vision. She made me feel beautiful in each dress I tried on, while providing honest feedback on which dresses were most flattering and felt most me. I also got my veil from Jennifer's.
Go to Jennifers! Seriously, its a great place with a great selection and consultants that are passionate about helping you find your dream dress! They also have a stellar alterations department; Susan has altered three gowns for me over the last few years and they've all fit beautifully.
I couldn't recommend any salon more than this one. You won't regret it.
Update: I finally got to wear my dream dress this past October, after having to postpone a year and I can honestly say I've never felt as beautiful as I did that day, thanks to Jennifer's.

Friendly, Professional, and Stunning
I ended up purchasing my dress through a friend, however, Jennifer's Bridal accepted me with open arms to make sure that I had all the final touches to make me feel absolutely stunning. They not only found me the most perfect veil, El in alterations pretty much fit my dress to perfection at the first fitting, so I only needed to make minor hemming decisions at my second fitting. She also chose the best bustle for my dress. Convenient location, super friendly and professional staff, and absolutely STUNNING shop. Would highly recommend.

Welcoming and Fun!
Jennifer's was the last place we visited when dress shopping, and clearly I saved the best for last!
The moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with a smile. I had a group of 4 with me, and Amy handled our appointment with ease. She made me feel so comfortable and knew just the right dresses to pull. We had so much fun! I had always dreamed of a Hayley Paige dress and Jennifer's did not disappoint with their selection. Amy pulled the most perfect Jim Hjelm by Hayley Paige dress, and it ended up being THE dress! We celebrated with champagne, which made it even more special.
I went back a few months later to shop for veils and Becca made the appointment a breeze! We ended up ordering a custom-length veil that matched my dress perfectly.
We ordered all of the bridesmaids dresses from Jennifer's as well. My girls felt amazing in Jenny Yoo! We went during a trunk show, and the girls got a great discount.
Susan did my alterations and she was a saint! She made all of the changes we requested, and was both speedy and talented. My dress looked absolutely amazing on the big day.

Best Bridal Salon
I can’t thank You guys enough for everything! My wedding was absolutely perfect. Becca was amazing when it came to finding my dream dress. Planning a wedding in six months can be stressful and she was so great at picking out dresses based on the style. She was patient and kind during the whole process! The Pronovias gown was stunning and I am still hearing compliments on it and the brown fur shrug. I am so happy you have that option to rent a fur. It made my winter Christmas wedding picture perfect! Thank you to El too for all the fittings and altering the dress perfectly. She is so talented! I will continue to share my experience with future brides!

I had the best experience t at Jennifer's. I went to a couple other salons first and Jennifer's was the best. Everyone was friendly, it's relaxing and not overwhelming, and they have a beautiful selection of dresses. I met with Lauren each time that I went, originally and for all the fittings, and she was friendly and sweet and always made me feel comfortable. Everyone that came along with me the different times was also impressed with how nice everyone was and my mom now recommends Jennifer's to everyone she meets that is dress shopping.

I went to the Hayley Paige trunk show for the Fall 2018 collection on 7/14/2018, and was completely blown away. I had specifically requested two gowns to try on, one from the new collection, and one from an older collection. Both gowns were ready and waiting in a fitting room for me upon my arrival. The consultant I worked with, Amy, was incredibly helpful, patient, and easy-going. I felt no pressure to buy a dress, nor did they try and sell me any other pieces (i.e., a veil) when I did say yes to a dress. Additionally, they helped my mother, future mother-in-law, and aunt find dresses, without an appointment. The shop is clean, easy to move around in, and beautifully decorated. Would recommend this bridal salon to any bride, bridesmaid, or mother of the bride looking!

At Jennifer's, you are more than just a bride - You are family ! These girls love what they do and their energy and love for all things bridal is contagious !! I was even able to hire one of their girls, Lauren to deliver my gown to me on my wedding day, help dress me, and follow me around to help stage my gown during pictures and bustle it before the reception started. I seriously cannot say enough great things about my experience with Jennifer's. The store is amazingly beautiful, their girls are always friendly and helpful and you will be sure to find the gown of your dreams !!

Although my dress just came in and I haven't had any alterations done yet, I absolutely LOVED my experience so far at Jennifer's! I went to the Hayley Paige trunk show as well as the Haute Bridal trunk show and each time, Jen was so helpful and so friendly over email as well as in person. She really made me feel comfortable and at home and handled my large party very well. I would absolutely recommend this salon for anyone looking for a beautiful designer gown with excellent service! Also, for the brides on a budget or who like a deal, take advantage of the trunk shows they offer!

I bought a ''Blush' by Hayley Paige' dress at Jennifer's! Everyone there was a pleasure to work with, from Rebecca who was my initial sales consultant, to Jen who helped me at my initial 'try-on', to Karen, my wonderful seamstress. Their remodeled store is absolutely gorgeous and the layout makes it easy to shop through the many beautiful dresses that they have available. I'd recommend this bridal salon to anyone!

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Jennifer's Bridal was a highlight of the wedding planning process, I loved shopping there so much that I was thrilled to join one of my bridesmaids to find her dream dress there too! Jennifer's has the best selection of dresses in the area, in the most GORGEOUS boutique setting. Walking in, I had no idea what I was looking for in a dress but their staff immediately understood the look I was going for and helped me to nail down my dream look. I ended up walking down the aisle in a dress that completely surpassed my expectations. Jennifer's seamstress was also impeccable. Shop at Jennifer's!

Had a wonderful experience with Jennifer's Bridal! All the girls there are so nice and helpful, and I really appreciated the fact that I walked in with a price point in mind, and they did not try to convince me to spend $1,000 more like other bridal shops did. Karen was my seamstress and she was a pleasure to work with! They do book up though so just make sure you make an appointment a few weeks before you plan on going in.

When I came into the shop I was overwhelmed by how beautiful the collection of dresses were at Jennifers! Jennifer herself was my consultant. She was as sweet as pie and made me feel so special throughout the entire appointment! I never felt rushed or as if I was being persuaded that one dress looked better than another. Honestly, I felt as if I was on an episode of "say yes to the dress" at Kleinfelds in New York… when I finally found the one, Jennifer came out with champagne for my entire entourage and proceeded to give me the cork with the date to save for sentimental purposes. I can't wait for my dress to come in and go back to the shop again! I will be forever grateful to Jennifer for my perfect dress shopping experience ;)

I absolutely LOVE this shop! Jennifer was amazing, and Karen the seamstress did a fantastic job at making my sample dress fit like a customized glove- I purchased Matthew Christopher's Brielle as my wedding gown, a trumpet dress, in late 2015. I have recommended this boutique to all my newly engaged friends in the tri-state area. Jennifer was also very helpful after the wedding to assist me in sending off my wedding dress to get cleaned and preserved, so I am able to keep her forever. I was married on October 8th, and can honestly say I miss regularly being at the shop for fittings, browsing for jewelry or shoes, etc!

I absolutely love everyone at Jennifer's. They were all so wonderful and helpful and I can't thank them enough for introducing me to my beautiful Hayley Paige dress and for also working closely with Haute Bride to make my custom matching jewelry. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and Jennifer's helped make that happen. Their inventory of dresses are gorgeous and they are constantly bringing in the best of the best. You can tell they really care about making your day the best day and I highly recommend them! I'm lucky enough to live around the corner from Jennifer's but even it if did not, I would definitely make the trip, being tax free in DE made the experience that much sweeter! Love you Jennifer's!

I would have saved myself a LOT of time if I went to Jennifer's first when starting to shop for a dress! I had an amazing experience and found the perfect dress in literally no time at all because the staff and selection are both top notch. The staff at Jennifer's is wonderful and they make you feel so special when you're looking and trying on dresses. They have a gorgeous selection and beautiful space that makes you feel excited about any dress you choose. The services they provide from storage before the wedding to the in-house alterations are so convenient. My dress was picked up by my mom in a garment bag and had a cardboard bust so it really shows off the dress when it came out of the bag and made for some gorgeous photos.
I found my dress during a trunk show and the dress I tried on was a runway dress, so it was traveling around the country and wasn't even in production yet. My mom wasn't there to see me in it, but Jennifer worked with the company to get the dress back in time for when my mom came to visit! They went above and beyond to get me my dream dress and were never pushy about making a sale. They were wonderful to work with and made the wedding dress shopping experience a breeze!

Jennifer's Bridal has been one of the most fun experiences of my wedding planning process! I felt like a princess the entire appointment as Amy put more and more dresses on me. I ended up picking the first one I tried on and cancelled all my other appointments that day because I could not see anything topping Jennifer's! Amy also suggested that I wait to get a veil until they had a trunk show to save some money. This was great advice and I found the perfect veil at the trunk show! I did not know how truly special they were until I went to another bridal salon to get bridesmaid dresses and it was a completely different experience. I am so happy that I did not waiver from my initial reaction to stop looking at Jennifer's.

Loved loved loved this place. Didn't think I would be "that bride" that had to go to 4 different stores and try on like 50 dresses, but I was. So I think I have pretty good authority to say that Jennifer's is the best. I got personalized attention at my appointments, from Amy, my consultant, to Susan my amazing seamstress, I never felt rushed or pushed.
Also, the girls at Jennifer's are more than just sales people, they're fashion people too. I never heard the words "no" or "can't" come out of their mouths. They did everything to help and thought of ideas to help me make my dress the dress of my dreams.

The ladies are so warm, welcoming and professional- always taking plenty of time to work with me. The dresses are of the best quality-they pick the dresses themselves right off the "runway"! I loved my dress shopping experience with Jennifer's! It was a relaxing experience and I felt pampered having one on one attention unlike other dress shops that are crowded with bridal parties and you're sharing a staff member. I had my eyes on a dress I found online that no one had in store. Jennifer's was able to ship a sample for free while other salons were asking for a fee. I said yest to the dress that day but Sara let me know there was a trunk show coming up that could save me money if I called in in a few weekends. Even though I loved the one dress I came for, their selection was well curated and I swooned over them every time I came in for a fitting. I also was traveling from out of town and they were always available able to fit me in on Saturdays and Sundays. Everyone at Jennifer's was super friendly and made us feel at home when we went there. The seamstress was reasonable and timely and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect dress!

I had initially gone to Jennifer's when I first started my shopping. I came back after months of shopping elsewhere and couldn't have imagined why I ever left in the first place! Sarah just so happened to be there every single time I went, whether it be for my initial appointment, follow up, fittings, talking over the phone. She was so amazing. This past weekend I was there for my future sister-in-law to try on dresses and Sarah was there again! She gave me a hug, remembered my name, what dress I had, etc. So nice to have people remember you!
My dress was a Tara Keeley and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect dress. Susan did a phenomenal job on my alterations and it was nice to be able to have that "in-house" alteration service.
I also ordered my bridesmaids dresses through them. I had a few out of town bridesmaids and they were very accommodating to ship them out to my girls!
I would recommend Jennifer's Bridal to anyone. They make you feel so welcome and it's such a classy, clean, stylish place that will have many brides coming for years to come!

My daughter is in Boston and our family is n NJ, PA and MD. Yet, the women at Jennifer's, including Susan the seamstress, were always able to help us come together to help Sarah choose her dress. Amy was gracious and fun; she offered Sarah suggestions that were creative and unusual, but she understood Sarah was drawn more to classic design. It was such a fun process. The ladies also helped Sarah and her Aunt choose the shoes which were Debbie's gift to Sarah. Additionally, the Haute Bride belt and earrings set off the design of the dress and were the perfect special touch. Also, Susan's alterations made Sarah's dress fir perfectly. Her method for bustling the dress insured the dress was a beautiful bustled as it was unbustled. I can never praise this group of women enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I ended up at Jennifers late in the day on a Saturday afternoon (after a long day of dress shopping at other bridal salons that were less than exciting). Jennifer was able to squeeze me in for an appointment (on a Saturday!) and even stayed an hour late with my mom and I. That was the first of many visits to Jennifers. During the beginning stages of my wedding dress shopping I knew the style of dress I wanted..but just couldn't find THE dress. After searching online, I found THE dress. Jennifer offered the designer in store, but not this specific dress. She was nice enough to order the dress in for me, as well as another dress that was a very similar style. During my time at Jennifers I was fortunate enough to work with Jennifer, Amy, and Sarah...I could not pick a favorite if I had to, they are all SO sweet and amazing at what they do! I ended up purchasing THE dress, a dress for my rehearsal dinner, and a dress for brunch (the morning after our wedding) all from Jennifers. I loved each dress so very much, in fact I could of cried changing out of my wedding dress knowing I will never get to wear it again. Not only do they offer dresses from the best designers, they also offer accessories from Haute Bride (and they are nothing short of amazing..SO pretty!) I can not thank the girls enough for their kindness, patience, and exceptional service. If you are reading this review in the beginning stages of bridal dress shopping, start at Jennifers, you will not have to worry about looking anywhere else for your dream gown. Highly recommended!

I had such a wonderful experience at Jennifer's Bridal. My mom and I went down for our appointment on Friday morning and met my lovely consultant, Sarah. Sarah was so friendly, enthusiastic, extremely helpful and made me feel very comfortable. She allowed me to try on as many dresses as I wanted and let my mom and I to look through the store on our own. I ended up selecting the first dress I tried on! Sarah's follow-up throughout the process has been wonderful. She always answers email in a very timely manner and I can't wait until my dress comes in! I'd recommend Jennifer's to anyone who is looking for a premiere bridal experience; you won't regret it.

My experience at Jennifer's Bridal was truly exceptional. The amount of time that Jennifer spent with me made me feel like I was the only bride that mattered and the shop is absolutely gorgeous. There are no plastic bags in sight so you really feel like you are playing dress up in a beautiful bridal closet! I also love that you can customize a lot of the dresses to make them exactly what you want. I've been to a few other bridal salons and without a doubt had the best experience at Jennifer's!

Jennifer's Bridal is a shop growing up that I had always dreamed that i would be buying a dress from. The staff and Amy were extremely attentive when helping me pick the perfect dress! Since I currently live in NC the communication and stress relief was key :)
I wold recommend anyone to Jennifer's , if not for your wedding dress than for an any occasion , they have it all. I had a strict budget and they helped me stay on tract including my absolutely beautiful jewelry.... I chose to be the non-traditional bride so the variety was wonderful.
Hands down best experience, Trust me i tried a lot of places and they take the cake!

I first reached out to Jennifer's Bridal when I learned about their sister boutique in Oxford, PA that sold once worn dresses. I had a strict budget for my dress and alterations and thought that Bride by J would be a better fit. After emailing back and forth with Jennifer, she urged me to also come to Jennifer's as they were having a sample sale and had a large selection of dresses in my price range. I am so happy that I took her advice! Not only did I go to Jennifer's in Hockessin and find my dream dress (a perfect Alvina Valenta gown that Jennifer suggested I try on) but she also brought my top dresses to my appointment at Bride by J in Oxford that evening so that my Mom and Grandma could see them. Both boutiques were beautiful and the experience was very personal. Jennifer is fantastic at what she does and put me in my dress when I had no idea what I wanted! My family and I had a great and FUN experience, plus I felt like I was able to try on a wide selection of dresses while staying in my budget. I am looking forward to April 2015 when it's time for alterations! I would highly recommend both Jennifer's and Bride by J to anyone looking for a fun and personal experience when searching for your gown! Thanks again Jennifer :)

Jennifer's was amazing! She was really good at responding to my e-mails and answering all my questions when I wanted an update on my dress. I got to work with Jennifer directly and she helped me build my dream dress. I walked in not knowing exactly what I wanted and Jennifer helped me try on lots of dresses. My mom, 3 sisters and I all got to pull dresses for me to try on. I tried one on and loved the top but wasn't crazy about the bottom. It was a Modern Trousseau, so we were able to 'build' our own dress. I got one with polka-dots and I absolutely LOVED it! I never thought I'd have a dress with polka-dots but it was perfect thanks to Jennifer's! I got so many compliments on my dress and I was so excited to be able to finally wear it!

Jennifer's bridal is the best place to get your wedding dress! Jennifer is so great to work with and loves what she does! I had the whole store to myself during my appointment and had so much fun trying on all the beautiful dresses. There is such a unique variety of dresses, there is something for everyone. Jennifer helped create the perfect dress for me- I took one part of 3 different dresses from the same designer and made my very own custom dress! The dress turned out perfectly and I received so many compliments on it on my wedding day. I would recommend Jennifer's to every bride out there! It is the best!

Jennifer's is amazing! I was struggling to find a dress in Washington, DC (where I live) or New York (where my family and wedding venue are located). A friend suggested Jennifer's -- halfway between both locations. I went thinking there was no way I would find a dress so my mom didn't even come! Of course, I found exactly what I was looking for. Jennifer's was reasonably priced yet still had high quality brand names. My Modern Trousseau dress was perfect :)
Hesitant to make a decision without my mom there, the staff at Jennifer's did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. We called my mom and made her feel like part of the appointment. The team also allowed me to make a last minute appointment to come back a month later to show my mom the dress in person. For my fittings, the team accommodated us even when traffic made us very late! They were flexible on time and willing to do whatever it took to make this experience work for me.
I would recommend working with Jennifer, Amy, Susan and the rest of the crew at Jennifer's 10 times out of 10! They are a dream boutique without breaking the bank! Thank you, ladies!!

I love Jennifer's Bridal salon. I had visited two other salons before I went to Jennifer's,. The experience at the other salons was not fun. I didn't feel like other salons took an interest that I was planning my wedding...it was completely different at Jennifer's. The owner, Jen, was fun, so happy and interested in helping me find the perfect dress. We found the perfect dress, but she did not have it in my size. She was able to order the dress from Spain, stay within my budget, and deliver in time. Her seamstress, Karen, was also amazing. She did a fantastic job of making my dress fit perfectly. I was so happy with my entire experience that I invited them to my wedding! I would recommend them to every bride. You will not be disappointed with this salon!!

I cannot praise Jennifer's Bridal, specifically Amy, enough. They were beyond accommodating, cost effective, sweet and professional. Not to mention their seamstress Susan is a miracle worker. I had a 1pm fitting and she was completed at 3pm with a press that same day! Fits like a glove. Cute shop as well. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine we brought in.

This salon is just gorgeous. The dresses are classic yet unique and I could have stayed all day! I found a beautiful Lazaro gown here and never once felt pressured to buy it. I'd recommend this boutique to anyone! Also, the seamstress can do just about anything! Very grateful!

My Jennifer's Bridal experience was awesome from start to finish. I found my perfect dress at their sample sale last winter (This is a good time to get a great deal on a designer dress for budget brides). Jennifer was great helping me try on dresses - the process was a lot of fun. They were flexible and supportive even when I had a slight mini-crisis second guessing my dress at one point. I ended up sticking with the original dress and I'm so glad I did. Also, Susan (seamstress) was very professional, courteous and nice. She took the dress in significantly since the sample size was pretty big on me. By the end of the process it looked like it was made for me. It's a great choice for those looking for more personalized wedding dress shopping experience!

I had a wonderful experience at Jennifer's from the first trip to look at gowns to the final fitting.
Everyone there is incredibly welcoming and professional without being stuffy at all. Jennifer's is big enough that they have a great selection and small enough that you get undivided attention (and they all remember your name every time you come in!).
I purchased my gown and veil from them, but got my belt elsewhere and they pressed in and had it ready to wear when I picked my gown and veil up. It's little touches like that that made my experience here great.

Sample Sizes Too Small
Jennifer's is a beautiful boutique with a mix of classic and fairy-tale inspired dressed. My review will be focusing solely on the sizing of the dresses available at Jennifer's. Their service is quality, the team at Jennifer's is incredible and I truly can't say enough good things about the team and the boutique.
I am 5'9" (though my husband swears I'm 5'8") and at 230 pounds (now 215) I am around a size 16. During my first appointment at Jennifer's, I pulled roughly 8 dresses. I was only able to try on 4. There were a few that I honestly could see myself having fallen in love with, but my only option was to stick my head through the hole between the dress and the hanger to allow the gown to drape over my frame. This was sincerely discouraging. This was also the case with a lot of the boutiques I visited.
I chose my gown, which was the Pronovias Anabel and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Seeing everything come together was magical and the first time I saw myself in the mirror, I nearly lost it.
I recommend Jennifer's but I do wish they had larger sample sizes.

Jennifer's has the most beautiful dresses of all the places I looked in Delaware. They are expensive but you certainly get what you pay for!! My dress was absolutely gorgeous and I received so many compliments on it!! Jennifer was the one who helped me most of the times I was there and she really knows what she is doing. Every dress i tried I was able to get in to which was nice, a lot of other places had smaller size dresses that I couldn't get on and it is hard to get a feel for the dress. They also have a lot of nice accessories for the dresses, I also purchased a sash which went great with my dress.

Turned Out Okay but Poor Experience with Seamstress
Overall, I had a good experience at Jennifer’s Bridal with everything but the alterations. They offer a huge selection of beautiful dresses and the space is beyond gorgeous. My stylist listened, picked out dresses that I loved, didn’t try to persuade me one way or another and gave me ample time to make a decision. El was the seamstress who did my alterations and unfortunately this is where things went downhill. We were not on the same page at all with what I was looking for and during one of my fittings she even rolled her eyes at me. I would not recommend her as a seamstress to future brides. I asked for a different seamstress, but it was too late in the process and this could not be accommodated. I will say that after I expressed my concerns, and Jennifer contacted me directly, explained things more thoroughly, and made it a point to be at my last fitting. She definitely had my best interest in mind and did not let me leave until I was happy with the end result. I was very much appreciative of this.

When my dress finally arrived in the store (after 4 months or so that it took to have made) it sat there a MONTH and no one told me it arrived. I finally called them and they acted as if it was no big deal that it was sitting there for a month and they forgot to tell me. It made such a special part of my wedding a big hassle. Plus, it's so hard to get someone on the phone! The dress itself was lovely but isn't not worth the hassle.

Jennifer's bridal promised to contact me when my dress arrived. I waited and waited and finally broke down and called because I was so concerned. Nonchalantly the lady told me "oh, it arrived a month ago and we emailed you!" I have checked every email in my inbox and spam, and I never received anything. I was very disappointed with the lack of response I received throughout my time working with this location. I was surprised that they did not take more time to consider how anxious brides are to hear the dress is in and that a phone call should have been in order (or at least an actual email that arrives!). The tailor they recommended was wonderful and the staff that helped to choose the dress was helpful, but the lack of communication left a bad taste in my mouth.

By far the worst experience I've had this entire wedding planning process.
If you want to feel like the most unimportant bride in the world, check out Jennifer's. Also make sure to arrive 20-30 minutes late for your appointment because you will be treated disrespectfully if you arrive early. Also ask for Jennifer shes a queen of being rude and belittling brides. If you are "larger" sized ..keep looking else where. Unless you want to leave crying then check out here!

If I could rate Jennifer's a zero, I would. I've never felt more disrespected. I had the "pleasure" of working with the OWNER of the establishment, Jennifer herself. During my appointment, there were two women hovering around my dressing room who were not with me and did not have an appointment. They were pointing at the dresses I was trying on and asking if they could try them on too. Instead of asking the women to look somewhere else until she was finished with my appointment, Jennifer helped them and assisted them during MY appointment that I had scheduled. She sent me out of my dressing room to see my mom and maid of honor alone while she went into the adjacent dressing room to assist two women during my appointment. It was a total disregard of my time. I am the first of my 10 best friends to get married, and I can guarantee I will NEVER recommend this place to any of them or anyone else. Please don't waste your time. It's a joke. No need for an appointment, you can just jump in on someone else's. Thanks for showing me what I don't want in a dress shopping experience. Pathetic.
