We cannot thank Jennifer & her team enough for making our wedding photos absolute perfection. We had our dream wedding this November 23rd & she made sure to have our picture gallery ready in plenty of time for Christmas. We absolutely adore her. Most amazing experience ever!!!

So being a first time bride I was so nervous!!!! But I can honestly say I don't know how I would have made my wedding as perfect as it was without her. She was early which was awesome because she got everything set up and followed my timeline beautifully. She captured all the moments I wanted and she is just an amazing photographer. Highly Recommend!!

Jennifer Neves is amazing! Having Jen as our photographer was hands down the best choice we made for our wedding. She kept everything running smoothly and on time, directing our family and bridal party so that we all knew how to pose and look our best. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she even took us to the beach for some extra, breathtaking shots. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful, she captured every moment flawlessly. Jen even included our Frenchie in some of the best shots, along with the kids in our wedding party. She certainly had her hands full with us and she handled it like the boss that she is! Best photographer ever!!

Jen was first on my list of photographers to reach out to and after our initial phone call I knew she was the one! Jen is so sweet, genuine, professional, organized, and extremely talented!! Her communication is excellent. Whenever I had a question she would respond in a timely manner. My husband and I did our engagement shoot a year before the wedding and the photos were absolutely stunning! She made us feel super comfortable and at ease during the entire session. A few months prior to our wedding Jen created a detailed schedule of what our day would look like. She is so organized and detail oriented! Jen showed up to our wedding day early and ready to go. My sleeve ended up breaking while I was getting ready and she offered to get her sewing kit and help fix it. She truly is a rockstar! Our entire wedding day was seamless with Jen there. She is also super funny and had our wedding party laughing. We just got our photos a few days ago and are blown away! We are so blessedj that she was there to capture our special day! You will not regret hiring Jennifer Neves Photography! She was truly the best vendor we worked with!

Best Wedding Photographer Ever

Jen and her team photographed my 9/28/23 wedding in Newport. I absolutely cannot recommend Jen Neves and her team enough. She is nothing short of incredible. She is so compassionate about her work which really shows in her wonderful photos. She is upbeat and energetic which was helpful for my husband and I as we are somewhat camera shy. Jen’s price points are more than fair and her work is second to none. Not only did Jen photograph my wedding but she planned a timeline for the entire day and recommended my band, officiant, florist, and videographer. All of which were equally phenomenal. I’m obsessed with my photos from the day and I find it hard to stop looking at them. I can’t stress this enough to future brides, you want Jen Neves on your vendor team.

Wedding Photography

Besides having good food, photography was extremely important to us while looking for vendors. We didn’t really have a style of what kind of photography we wanted or looking for but we wanted to connect/jive with that person. You spend hours with them so you better have good chemistry or it’ll be a long day. Yes it is just a day but we wanted it to be something we could look back on and remember all of the love and joy we were surrounded by. I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Jen and her team nailed it out of the park. From our first conversation til our last email she made me feel heard, and eased any fears/concerns. She carefully designed and provided a day of timeline and made adjustments as we talked and reviewed it. She always made herself available if I had any questions. The wedding day was seamless. She and her team are fun, light but direct and detail oriented. She kept us on schedule and arrived on time. Our photos are beautiful and more than I could have ever asked for. We cannot thank Jen and Ryan enough for capturing the most memorable and magical day of our lives. I just wish we could of had them for longer! I look forward to using her in the future.

Best Wedding Day Ever

Jen was the sweetest, most down to earth and amazing person to work with. I knew from the first time I spoke with her on the phone that I was going to love her, and I was right! She is amazing at what she does, my wedding and engagement photos came out beyond beautiful. I think it's really important for personalities to mesh well for such a high-stress event, and she put everyone at ease with her professionalism and knowledge. She knows exactly what to say to get you to pose for the look that you want, and will take all of your opinions into consideration, even though she has her own style. She works very hard shooting and editing, and it definitely pays off! I cannot recommend this wonderful human being enough to all newly engaged couples!!

So fun and knows Providence so well!!

Jen was so fun to work with, and she is so incredibly talented. We had our wedding on 12/2/22 in downtown Providence at the Graduate, and I knew the photos would be magical. She had us running around the streets of Providence for photos, which is exactly what we wanted, and they turned out just beautiful. She is really dedicated to what she does and you can tell she knows her craft so well. Our second shooter, Ryan, was also so amazing to work with! I highly recommend Jen and her team, especially if your wedding is in Providence. Thank you Jen!!!

Jen does more than she is expected to as a photographer. She basically manages and coordinates the wedding. She is absolutely wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone!! I can honestly say she made my wedding better!

Look no further for a photographer!

Jennifer Neves photography is unmatched in every sense of the word! We had no leads on photographers to start, but were so glad to have been referred to Jen and her team through our venue the Wyndham Newport. Jen knew the grounds, Middletown, and Newport like the back of her hand. She knew exactly which shots to get at exactly the right moments. I thought I was hiring a photographer, but in reality I also got a hairdresser, makeup artist, dry cleaner, therapist, and seamstress all in one! (No really, she sewed me into my dress after an alteration gone wrong!) Jen and her team are poised, timely, professional, generous, accommodating, and understanding. (I was a COVID bride and had to reschedule. Jen worked with us effortlessly to rebook.) Our day would not have gone as smoothly without her there. Our photos are absolutely stunning and we are so grateful to have these memories. Thank you JNP for being THE best!!!

Amazingly Talented!

Wedding planning can be quite stressful, but hiring Jennifer Neves was the easiest decision my husband and I made. From the moment we met her, Jen was nothing short of accommodating, patient, talented, charismatic, and professional. Jen met with us via FaceTime numerous times due to my work schedule and also answered my countless phone calls when the day was coming near. Jen is so much more than a photographer. She worked with us to chronologize the events of our day, which helped everything to run seamlessly and also put my nerves at ease. Also, since Jen has been in the business for so long, she gave great suggestions for who to hire as a videographer, DJ, florist, etc. When our wedding day finally arrived, Jen was such a huge help. She fixed my veil, ironed my mom’s dress, rearranged our house to best capture its beauty in the photos, fixed my flower girls’ hair, attended to my makeup, and even bustled my dress. She truly is the whole package! On top of it all, my husband and I now have hundreds of beautiful photos to remember our day. The quality is incomparable to others. Jennifer Neves’ positive and fun presence made her an unforgettable part of our wedding. We are so happy to have had her as part of our special day!

Truly captures the love and happiness of your big day.

To start, Jenn was so welcoming and beyond friendly/nice. She makes you feel right at home and is very helpful with all the planning. I met with her a couple times before the wedding to set up how the day will go and to see what pictures I would like. I'm very particular so I showed up with veryyy specific shots and ideas. Jenn printed this all out and brought with her on the day of. She did not disappoint and captured everything I asked for as well as so many unique shots of her own. She truly captured the day perfectly.
Day of, Jenn showed up early and got right to work on detail shots. They were so beautiful; I absolutely love them! It was awesome seeing these when our photos came in because I was getting ready during that and did not see them. She also does an awesome bride reveal with the bridesmaids. These were seriously the coolest pictures.; everyone's faces were priceless.
Then we did a first look, family formals, and bridal party formals. Our wedding party was very large (20 of us) and rather rowdy group, Jenn had her work cut out! She handled us great and really got everyone to focus for the shots in a funny but assertive way. It was just what we needed! Along with the formals she took amazing candids during the ceremony and reception of guests. She captured the laughter, love, and genuine happiness that Cody and I felt throughout the day.
We received our pictures about 7 weeks after the wedding on a usb drive. She sends you all of them so we got about 800 edited pictures to look through which was awesome. We relived the day as we sorted out our favorites to make an album. Jenn is a must hire photographer for your big day!!

You want Jennifer Neves for your Wedding!

I fell in love with Jennifer the first time I spoke to her on the phone. Even though, I did my due diligence and spoke to several other photographers, but no one compared to Jen! She is the sweetest, most wonderful person to work with which makes all the difference and I can't recommend her highly enough. She coordinated the schedule making sure that from the picture of the dress to the couple last dance we were all where we needed to be and ready for pics! She's worked with many of the videographers and so has a great rapport and worked so well with Mike Picard who was our videographer. I can't imagine how anyone else could have made everyone so comfortable!
I wasn't looking forward to the formal picture taking, but I am so glad that I had Jen to guide me and ensure that I would have all the memories of my magical wedding day at Rosecliff. Thanks so much Jen!

I knew from the second I met Jen at the twin river bridal expo she was the photographer I wanted for my wedding day. Her personality was just perfect, and so fun! The whole day went so smoothly thanks to Jen. She was so prepared for everything and even with such a large wedding party it was very organized. We got our pictures back and love every single one and everyone is complimenting how perfect they came. Beyond amazing.

Jen made my day so comfortable and carefree. It was so easy working with her and she made me feel so beautiful. She is professionally, caring, loving, and shows she loves what she does. We had a few meetings, a engagement shoot, and multiple phone calls, so that she and I understood what happened on the wedding day. She got so many different shots on our wedding day, from the industrial hotel to the waterfront, and there is not a picture I don’t like. She found my “good side” and she was right! Amazing Photographer!

My husband and I booked Jen as our wedding photographer and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the moment we met with Jen, we connected instantly. She made us feel so comfortable the first day we met that I knew I needed someone like this on our wedding day. Leading up to the wedding, Jen was excellent with responding to any questions we had and always offered to meet with us to go over any details. She even took the time to call me a couple times before the big day to check in to see how I was doing and if I had any questions or concerns.
Jen was so amazing the day of our wedding and did such a great job with sticking to our timeline and made sure things kept moving along, not to mention she worked so well with all of our vendors!
My husband and I were so excited to see the pictures from our wedding day and they did not disappoint. Her work truly lives up to her reputation. Our pictures were absolutely beautiful and could not ask for anything more! My husband and I will cherish these pictures for a lifetime. Best photographer ever!

Where do I even begin with Jen! From the moment me and my now husband Greg met Jen at our initial meeting we knew! We knew she had to be our photographer! The passion she showed from that first meeting got us excited for our own wedding. Then we did our engagement photo shoot with Jen and we felt at such ease and it felt like we were hanging with an old friend for a couple of hours. And when we got back those pictures we fell in love and got SO excited for our wedding day! Fast forward to October 2018 our wedding day! OH it happened to be calling for a monsoon day of. Jen called me a few days beforehand to go over day of details and also to calm my nerves. To let me know we would have fun and she would bring the umbrellas we had our plan B for first look photos. Before Jen got to me, day of she sent a text a heartfelt text,which I will forever cherish.Day of downpouring but didn't even matter! Jen had us and the WHOLE bridal party laughing and enjoying ourselves. She kept everyone on task for the day with a smile and a sense of humor. She felt like she was just part of our party which she was! We just got our pictures back and Jen captured the heart of the whole day. Through her pictures we get to relive the best day of our lives for the rest of our lives. The pictures she captures are so flawless and no filter and just beautiful. Jen isn't just our wedding photographer but she has such a place in our hearts and lives way past the wedding day. We know we will stay in touch with Jen and we do know if we have a little one next,who we want to capture those first moments. Until forever whenever someone will ask us for a recommendation for a photographer it will 1000% Jen Neves forever! She was our favorite vendor and person. Absolutely amazing

Jennifer was so amazing from beginning to end for our wedding. From the moment we booked her, she was timely in responding, on top of alternative options should it rain on our wedding, and met with us in person before the wedding to go over any special requests. She also has an AMAZING personality and made sure all of our special moments were captured. I even had certain photos I had seen online that I asked if we could recreate and she not only ensured we recreated them, they were even better! I HIGHLY recommend Jennifer. Jennifer was so great from the beginning. She answered all my questions in such a timely manner and having done a ton of weddings in Newport before, was willing and ready to offer a bunch of suggestions for engagement photos, first looks, etc. On the day of, she arrived right on time. She did such a great job corralling our wedding party to ensure that we got all the photos we wanted and did her best to keep us all on time. The photos we received (only a few weeks after the wedding!) were perfect, and there were so many candid emotional snapshots that my husband and I will treasure forever. I highly recommend Jennifer! She will be a constant support and friend during the whole process!

When my mom and I left from our meeting with Jennifer Neves we knew we had found our photographer. She has a passion for what she does which truly shines through all of her pictures. On the day of our wedding, Jen took charge as soon as she arrived. She really helped us stay on schedule while getting truly amazing pictures. It was really nice having someone there to tell me exactly what pictures we needed to take and when they needed to be completed by. As a schedule-oriented person, I really needed this on a day where so many things were out of my control. Jen is a perfectionist, she doesn’t want “good” pictures she wants “amazing” pictures and will make sure she does everything in her power to get them. After our ceremony, we wanted to take a group picture outside of the church. With 200 guests, this was not an easy task however, Jen was able to get the perfect shot while standing on top of a car. This is the kind of dedication you get from Jen. Another one of our requests was to make sure we wouldn’t miss any of our cocktail hour. We had about 2 hours between the ceremony and reception to take pictures and Jen took advantage of each second. In the short amount of time, we were able to take pictures outside the church, at a park near the water as well as at the venue. She really managed the time well and made sure that we had each formal picture we requested as well as ones she knew we’d want even if we hadn’t asked (she does have much more experience with weddings than I do!) Every moment of our wedding was captured – we can relive the entire day. Our pictures are amazing and perfectly captured our best day ever. Throughout the wedding processes, Jen was more than willing to answer questions and give advice as to what she thought would work best. If I could give Jen more than five stars, I would. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding, call Jen first, because you won’t need to book any other appointments after meeting her. Upon walking into her studio on our first meeting, she put me and my parents at ease. She has a wonderful, bubbly personality, a great eye, and is a stickler for detail. She made sure she kept to our timeline throughout the day while also getting all of our important shots. I can’t imagine having another photographer at my wedding. Having a photographer you feel comfortable with is super important, because he/she will be with you all day, more so than any other vendor. Having Jen as your photographer will make your day that much more enjoyable. I can’t wait to see the beautiful pictures that she took!

HIRE JENNIFER NEVES! Jen was amazing from the first minute I spoke to her on the phone. I'm from CT and had to interview all of my vendors remotely, which was not an easy task. She is intuitive, kind, amazing at her job and has great instincts. Jen is also very personable, which helps a lot with family and friends, she knows how to work with everyone so they are happy and comfortable while keeping us (bride & groom) her main priority. I'm kind of a crazy person when it comes to being on time and Jen made sure we were on schedule throughout the day, she is great with communication so I didn't have any stress while working with her and trusted her completely. Additionally, Jen recommended the team I used for my hair and makeup, and gave me some other suggestions along the way. This helped a ton since I'm out of state. Jen truly went above and beyond what we hired her to do and I am so grateful to have been able to work with such a wonderful person and amazing professional. If there were more stars I could give I would. Furthermore, the pictures Jen produced are phenomenal! I can't stop looking at them and sharing them with everyone! My husband also loves the photos and for someone that hates having his picture taken that says A LOT! If you hire Jen you will not only end up with amazing wedding photos but you will also have a wonderful experience while taking those photos. Do yourself a favor and hire Jen, you will not be disappointed!

I don't even know where to begin! Jenn is honestly the most amazing wedding photographer ever! She is absolutely amazing! Jenn is the sweetest, most passionate, photographer I've ever met! She photographed my wedding so beautifully. Not only did she take incredible pictures she helped make my day flow so smoothly! It was almost like having a wedding planner! I had a large wedding party of 18 and Jenn managed to get everyone looking and smiling all at once! Every photo is flawless, I don't know how I'll chose! Jenn also took into account every detail from our consultations and meetings! She worked so well with my wedding party, especially my sister with a disability! Jennifer did a fantastic job and was super accommodating. I was super picky and wanted pictures of everyone, including many of my friends which wasn't a problem with Jenn. I can't believe how wonderful the pictures came out; the editing was awesome. After this wonderful experience I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pictures; in fact, I am planning on setting up another appointment to have pictures done of my future grandchild. If you want beautiful pictures of your wedding, I would recommend that you call Jenn.

Words cannot express how wonderful Jen and her team were. She captured so many special moments that my husband and I will be able to cherish forever. There is no amount of words I can say that would help me articulate how amazing Jen is, including her charisma and her professionalism. When my husband and I were searching for a wedding photographer, Jen was the third person we spoke with and we knew off the bat that she was the one. Jen was always available to answer any questions I had, giv m her opinions on things I was debating, and most importantly, ensured the day went smoothly - she surpassed all expectations and did an AMAZING job of ensuring the bridal party was attentive and where they need to be. I could sit here and write all day about Jen and how amazing she is, but looking at her work alone just tells you how amazing she is. If I could give Jennifer Neves more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat! Picking out a wedding photographer was actually the easiest decision we made while wedding planning, you are seriously doing yourself an injustice if you do not book her! From our initial email inquiry to her parting goodbye late in the night, she is nothing short than amazing! Where do I even start with Jen? First of all the amount of energy and passion she has for what she does is evident right when you meet her and shows in the quality of her work. Her personality and charisma is exactly what sets her apart from other photographers. We went in for a consultation and left hours later, fast friends and I loved her spirit, professionalism, her engaging personality, and humorous nature and I knew she had to part of my day! My husband and I left the meeting, and said “SHES THE ONE” and booked immediately after. She was amazing and spent so much time shooting our engagement photos, that we still receive compliments on them a year later. She also shot an amazing boudoir shoot for me, and made me feel comfortable and sexy and was so encouraging during the process, she helped calm my nerves and reassure me my husband will love the photos, which he did! Now on our wedding day, there are not enough words to describe how seriously amazing she was. When no one was doing what they were supposed to do, or where they were supposed to be, she directs in a way people listen, she is efficient, and has mastered time management and kept us right on our timeline almost effortlessly. I don’t know how she got in all of the pictures we wanted and had discussed prior but she got the job done. Jennifer Neves Photography is freaking AMAZING!!!
Since our first meeting at Jennifer's studio we felt we were going to have an amazing, crazy and fun wedding journey. We both were super excited to have Jen as our photographer that as soon we got home from meeting her we texted "we will be delighted to have you as our photographer!!" We are honored and humbled that she agreed. Jen is a true knowledgeable photography professional. She made us feel very super comfortable during the engagement photo shoot and she quickly got a sense of who we are as a couple. All the pictures came out great and we have them around the house now. We remember that during our year of wedding planning, Jennifer went for additional photography training. That tells you that even if she is the BEST!!! she will go beyond expectations. During our wedding day, the wedding party fell quickly in love with her. Jen and her assistant made our wedding party and families feel like movie stars while we got glamorous in Newport, RI. Jennifer Neves is AMAZING! I fell in love with her as soon as we met. Not only is she the best photographer you can have for your wedding but she is sweet, fun, energetic, and the most positive person you could ever work with while planning your wedding. Jennifer was on schedule from the second the day started until the moment the night was ending. I felt like she was a savior on our wedding day because she kept our wedding party moving along to make sure she got all the shots we requested and made sure my husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding. When we were given our wedding photos we couldn't pick or choose which to pick to feature in our home because they were all beautiful! She is so creative and talented with her work that it made my husband and I feel like our wedding photos were out of a magazine! We were given our pictures so prompt and quickly we were actually just getting back from our honeymoon when she called us to let us know photos were ready (about 3 weeks!) Book her! She is worth every penny spent. She organized my wedding party, made my girls all feel included, coordinated with the venue, DJ, and florets. Answered questions and returned emails quickly. Thought of things I didn't even consider until talking with her. Cleaned my dress when I poured red wine on it, arrived early, stayed late, stayed on schedule. She was more then I could of asked for. I don't even know where to begin. I knew I wanted Jenn to be my photographer, right from the second I knew I was getting married. I spoke to her to make sure she available before I saved the date of the wedding! I saw her pictured all over Facebook and the great reviews on wedding websites, that it just made it so easy to choose. Her work is phenomenal and speaks for itself; BUT she is way more than that. It's from the first meeting; she just greets you with this warmth and excitement. You see the true PASSION that she has for what she does. Jenny is absolutely amazing. I cannot even put into words just how amazing she is. She is very attentive to detail and even though you know she has a million other brides, she makes you feel like there is no one else that she is working with. She plans for every little detail, things you would forget. She notices everything down to a crease in a shirt that needs to be straightened before getting the perfect shot. When my husband and I sat with Jennifer we knew within a couple minutes we found our photographer. Her welcoming personality makes you feel as though you have been friends for years!! Jennifer and her team are professionals on all levels. They make you laugh and feel relaxed while you and the wedding party are trying to capture every second of the day! Let's be honest brides that day can be a little overwhelming (in the best way possible) and Jennifer will make sure to keep you on track which is exactly what you need!! You give her a list of pictures you want on the big day and she won't go home until there all checked off!!! For years I had been looking at Jen's photographs on facebook and could not wait until I got married so that she could capture my day. When the time finally came, I was ecstatic. Jen was the first and only photographer I met with. Meeting with her solidified my decision. She has the best personality- she is fun, bubbly, warm, and very professional!

The day of our wedding, Jen added so much fun and excitement, meanwhile keeping everyone organized and on time. We were able to shoot at several locations and still get all the shots we needed.

When my future husband and I were first asked by Jennifer Neves what we wanted our guests to leave our wedding saying our answer was one word...WOW! Wow that was beautiful, Wow that was interesting, Wow that was different...It didn't matter, as long as the first word out of their mouths was WOW. If it was, then we knew we accomplished what it was we were looking for from our ceremony and reception, which was something different. Jennifer's expertise and professionalism was an integral part in obtaining the WOW! We were looking for. Jennifer's reputation precedes her which is why we went to her for our photos to begin with. We heard that she did incredible work and that she is a take charge type of person and punctual, all very true. We can't thank her enough for her quick reflexes both with her camera in catching our special day, and also in her incredible crisis management abilities in saving our reception by finding a DJ within an hour when our band was a no show! Jen Neves is worth every single penny! From the moment me and my (now) husband met her , we fell in love with her warm personality , and knew we had to have her be part of our big day. And boy were we right !! Not only did we love our engagement pictures (which were amazing, tons of different locations and great shots) but the day of our wedding was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! jennifer got every single shot i wanted and more she also improvised which i loved and allowed me to get one of the best shots of my wedding and she did it all in a timely fashion and with nothing but a big smile on her face! WOW is all that comes to mind when speaking of Jennifer Neves. When my now husband and I met with Jen almost two years ago, I knew immediately we had to have her! Her bubbly personality and amazing energy was exactly what we needed for our crazy Portuguese wedding! Jen was absolutely one of our favorite vendors. The moment we met...i felt like we were talking to a long lost friend about our wedding details and not just any photographer. We met with a few and she was definitely the most personable one. She was just as excited about our wedding as we were! We had a lot of interaction beforehand and i was always running ideas by her. We had our engagement session with her first and it was such a blast! She made us fee like movie stars in front of the camera. We got so many compliments on our photos.
On our wedding day, she was really the one who ran the schedule and made sure we were where we were suppose to be at the right time. She caught all the most important moments of the day and made me feel so beautiful! Our wedding party had a blast with her and she really captured all their personalities in the photos. I could not of asked for a better photographer or better photos of our day. We will forever cherish the images. And even now that the wedding is over, I know i can still send her a quick text and she will always reply. I love that I not only have a photographer for life, but also a friend!! From the first time we met with Jen she was great! She's very understanding and does everything she can to make sure she captures every moment of your special day.
We had a long list of pics we wanted and she was able to not only take all this pics, but she made sure we took pics that were not on the list but probably more important.
She is a true professional and her energy, excitement and passion are what makes her truly amazing to work with.

The first time I met with Jen I knew immediately that she had something special. From Jen's personality to her beautiful photography - I couldn't walk out the door without booking her for our wedding. She was the first photographer I was recommended to by our wedding venue the Regatta Place in Newport, RI and the only photographer I actually met with. Jen was such a pleasure to work with and was always there to answer any questions before the wedding day. I've been in 10 weddings as a bridesmaid or maid of honor - so I had some experience in this whole wedding thing. I have seen some awful work and some awful photographers who had no direction or control over the wedding party. Well let me tell you that Jen has it all from direction to control to outstanding work. She led the whole day and everything went so smooth and just the way I imagined it to be. On the day of the wedding she showed up early to take a look around to get ideas on where to take photos. Jen really spends a lot of time making things just perfect for you! You can tell that she takes a lot of pride in her work and absolutely LOVES what she does! I can't say enough about her and the work she does - she truly made our wedding complete and extra special! I couldn't be any happier - I not only have amazing photos of our special day but I also feel like I walked away having met someone truly amazing :) I would recommend Jennifer Neves to anyone looking for a photographer in a heart beat and will definitely be using her in the future! Jennifer is absolutely amazing to work with. From the second you meet her, you can see this is her passion, she gets as excited as you are about all the details! We had two formal meetings with her and did a lot of quick questions through email. If she can't immediately respond, her assistant will, so you are never left hanging. The day of she was a big part of why everything flowed so smoothly. Everyone loved her! She's beautiful inside and out and we all had fun with the photos. In looking at the photos she took, I feel like the most beautiful bride with the most handsome groom, so thank you Jen!

Jen did our engagement and wedding pictures and she was honestly so great to work with and we absolutely love our pictures. We did a first look before our wedding and Jen made sure that we really stuck to the time schedule that we agreed upon prior to the weeding. Not only was Jen professional, and helped keep everyone on time but she was fun and so easy to work with. I would recommend Jen to any bride who is looking for a fun photographer to work with that delivers beautiful pictures.

I live in New York, and got married in Newport, so many of my decisions were based on reviews and a lot of web research.. if you are looking for an amazing photographer, Jennifer is the BEST, you do not need to look any further! I called Jen after reading reviews and after our phone conversation, I went with my gut and hired her. On my wedding, Jen made me feel so comfortable and confident; she has everything under control because she is so ORGANIZED! Jen is SO fun to work with, professional, and knowledgable and does everything you ask -she impressed me so much with so many little details, like having a small satchel attached to her belt loaded with Brides emergency kit (tide to go stick, make up, sewing kit, etc.), reminding my bridesmaids to apply more lipgloss to me when it wore off, making sure my dress looked perfect in every shot, just so many little details. I was in another New England wedding in Maine, and I couldn't believe the vast difference in photographers -- I can't stress enough how important it is to be professional and organized and to have a game plan. Jen will meet with you before the wedding and go over important /'must have' pictures, pictures you don't want, WHERE you want to be photographed, all with a time line. Picking a great photographer is so important to relive these moments, because trust me, you will be sad when it's all over! She is extremely reasonable in pricing for the quality of service she provides. She is a beautiful person inside and out, and I couldn't imagine having someone else photograph our wedding. I'm going to miss not working with her as much, but you can bet she will be doing our newborn photos ;)

I have known Jennifer for a very long time so its no secret I wanted her to take my wedding photos.
She made me feel so comfortable from our first meeting up until our wedding day. I truly had no worries about the quality of work I was about to receive. She was there 24/7 literally (phone,text,email) anything I needed help with she had answers. Jen and her team are extremely reliable. They were on time for every meeting, our engagement photos, and wedding day.
She has this calming aura about her that just settles your nerves on your wedding day. I had a slight mental breakdown before my ceremony and started to cry and Jen came in like super hero, she calmed me down, gave me a pep talk and hug and even fixed my makeup and my hair. Now that was impressive. She whipped out lipstick, blush, bobby pins and made me look beautiful. No one could tell had I cried my eyes because my cake didn't come out as perfect as I wanted.

Jen is prepared for anything you or mother nature throw her way on your wedding day. The whole day ran smoothly because Jen was there.
I wanted amazing wedding pictures and I was given flawless ones. We took so many pictures and it didnt even feel like we took as much as we did. Everything felt natural and Jen had everyone in an excellent mood all day. Jen and her assistant captured every moment possible some that I had even forgotten about until I viewed our proofs. From candid pictures of our entire wedding party and guests.
Jennifer has an eye for detail that is unlike any other professional out there and I truly believe that it is present in all of her work.
I highly recommend Jen to any bride who wants beautiful pictures from a professional who knows what they are doing, who is not only passionate about the work they do but takes pride in every photograph that they produce.
If I had to do it all over again I would still choose Jennifer. Her pictures captured every intimate detail from our day and those are the memories I will have for ever

JEN NEVES SAVED ME LIFE! MY PHOTOGRAPHER BAILED ON ME A WEEK BEFORE MY WEDDING AND I HAD LOVED HER WORK BUT ALREADY HAD A VENDOR BOOKED, SO THE FIRST THING I DID WAS CALL HER. SHE HERSELF WAS NOT AVAILABLE BUT SOMEONE WHO WORKS WITH HER WAS SO HE WAS ABLE TO COME TO MY WEDDING. I HAVE NOT GOTTEN THE PHOTOS BACK YET, BUT HE TOOK SOME AMAZING PHOTOS. AWESOME ATTENTION TO DETAIL BEFORE THE WEDDING AND DURING, FUN CREATIVE COUPLE AND BRIDAL PARTY POSES, AND BEST OF ALL HE STAYED 3 HOURS EXTRA BECAUSE HE FELT HE NEEDED MORE SHOTS. Amazing photographer!

My husband and I got married on 4/6/24 and we are incredibly grateful that we chose Jen to capture our special day! There's a reason why she was listed as a "preferred vendor" on 3 out of the 3 venues we looked at! When we had our first phone call with Jen we knew we had to have her as our photographer. She was very knowledgeable about the place for our ceremony as well as our venue and was able to provide us with a lot of helpful information. She was available to answer all of our questions and followed up with questions for us to ensure that she got all the photos we wanted. Jen was great with providing a wedding day photo timeline as well as offering us suggestions to make each of our photos happen. She did a great job working with our other vendors to make sure our "photo dash" ran smoothly. On the day of the wedding not only was she a photographer, but she was helpful in so many ways including getting flowers situated & on, helping with my dress, bustling my dress, helping bridesmaids, etc. At one point she even offered to help sew a bridesmaids dress if needed, all while taking amazing photos! Jen and her team member (Ryan) made our day run so smoothly. Since I had a longer wedding day, I had asked Jen to stay for extra hours, she made sure to check in with me multiple times to make sure we got all the photos we wanted and checked in with me to see if I wanted to stay longer before she left. We were so excited when we finally received our wedding album. The photos came out absolutely amazing & we are so happy that we chose Jen to be our wedding photographer. I highly recommend choosing Jen as your photographer!! You will not be disappointed!!

So thankful!

We picked Jennifer for our wedding photographer because she was passionate about our venue and made my fiancé and I feel comfortable when we were overwhelmed with wedding planning. On the day of the wedding when things didn't go to plan (our party bus was 30+ minutes late and our formal location was blocked off for a fundraiser) Jen took charge and helped us find a different photo location, and made sure we got all the photos we wanted and still made it back to the venue before the cocktail hour ended! And of course, the photos are absolutely beautiful too!!

Everything about this experience with Jennifer Neves Photography was fantastic. A friend of ours recommended her for our wedding, and after meeting with her, understanding her personality and seeing her work, there was no doubt we were going with her and her company. She really helped us envision our day and plan out the timing, as we had no idea what to expect, and how to plan time so we could enjoy our special day. She also re-did our engagement photos and helped recommend quality vendors, such as our DJ. Then, her and her crew delivered on 'Game Day' with quality photos, and service to deliver our images quickly after our wedding day!

We haven't seen final proofs yet, but we can certainly recommend Jenn on the basis of her professionalism, her knowledge of Newport and use of location and lighting for her wedding shots. She was clear and decisive in working with the wedding party and easy to have around the whole day! We eagerly await the formal photographs.

Negative Photographer

I had an extremely horrible and negative experience with Jennifer. From start to finish would comment on how my expectations were unrealistic and cause an unnecessary amount of stress leading up to the wedding. Every single one of "unrealistic" expectations were surpassed at the wedding and were acknowledged by her. That did not make up for the tears unnecessary levels of stress leading up to the wedding she caused. If you are looking for a positive photographer, I would look elsewhere.
