Planning a destination proposal is honestly pretty overwhelming, but working with Jenna Lee and her team made the entire experience seamless from start to finish.
I’m based in Canada and had my heart set on proposing in Hawaii at sunrise. From the very beginning, Jenna went above and beyond by helping me narrow down potential locations, walking me through the pros and cons of each, and really taking the time to understand my vision. She was incredibly thoughtful in accommodating all of my requests and made me feel completely at ease planning something so important from afar. She also connected me with an amazing decoration vendor, which made a huge difference in bringing everything together.
A few days leading up to the proposal, the weather was a bit uncertain, but Jenna stayed in constant communication, proactively planning backup options and making sure we were prepared for anything. Her attention to detail and commitment during this time really stood out.
On the day of the proposal, everything was executed perfectly. Jenna and her team put in so much effort to make sure the shoot matched exactly what I had envisioned. We also had both of our families there for the surprise, and she was incredibly accommodating in taking extra time to capture all of those special family moments without ever making us feel rushed.
Beyond her professionalism, Jenna is just an absolute pleasure to work with, super friendly, easygoing, and genuinely invested in making your moment special. She guided us through poses naturally and even suggested some incredible spots within the cove for dramatic drone shots and videos that turned out amazing.
I can’t recommend Jenna Lee and her team enough. This was such an important moment in my life, and thanks to them, it was captured perfectly. Truly nothing but positive things to say, thank you again to Jenna and the entire team! -

We are beyond thrilled that we had Jenna Lee & her tribe for our wedding day! From start to finish, she made the entire experience fun, engaging, and stress-free. Her approach was far from the standard “stand and smile” routine; instead, she and her team made sure every moment felt natural, joyful, and full of emotion. She took the time to understand what we wanted, and her attention to detail truly captured the essence of our wedding day. The photos are vibrant, full of life, and each one tells a beautiful story of our special day.
When I was first booking, what stood out to me was that Jenna herself called me at a very odd hour because of my schedule. She was so flexible and accommodating, taking the time to chat about what she offered. That conversation was a game changer—it completely altered the way I wanted to approach our wedding day. Initially, I was hesitant about doing the first look and family photos before the ceremony, as I thought it wasn't the traditional way to do things. But Jenna shared her prior experiences, and since we wanted to be present for cocktail hour and fully enjoy the day, we decided to take her advice. It was MAGIC.
When I first opened my photos, I was with my new husband, my mother-in-law, two of the groomsmen, and a bridesmaid, and we were all brought to tears with how phenomenal, powerful, and stunning the photos were. She truly captured so many important moments, and the amazing part is, it was FUN. Every photo radiated emotion and joy, and we’ll cherish them forever.
What also really stood out was how thoughtful and generous Jenna and her team were. The entire team was not only professional but also incredibly fun—honestly, I would be friends with every photographer there! They made the experience feel like we were surrounded by love and family, creating moments full of joy, laughter, and genuine connection. They were there when we needed them but never intrusive.
Jenna and her team's responsiveness was another huge bonus—they were always quick to answer calls and texts, which helped us feel at ease throughout the process. I can't tell you how many times I was adding and subtracting hours and not once did they make me feel bad or like it was a burden. Additionally, the turnaround time for the photos was incredibly fast! We felt like we had the images in no time, and every single one exceeded our expectations.
We feel INCREDIBLY lucky that Jenna was the photographer for our wedding; her team was just as phenomenal. She captured beautiful memories, kept the experience lighthearted and meaningful, and we will treasure her work FOREVER.

I wasn't super involved in booking the photographer, but what was important to me was that we got to enjoy our wedding and from what my wife (then fiance) told me, it sounded like this was a priority of Jenna's as well.
From the start, everything felt relaxed and easy. There was no awkward "stand and smile" routine which my wife and I both wanted to avoid —Jenna and her team brought so much energy and authenticity to every shot. They made sure that each moment felt real and full of emotion, and the final photos truly reflect the vibe of the day. They didn’t just capture moments—they told the story of our wedding in such a vibrant, powerful way. I’m honestly blown away by how they turned out.
First look & family photos before the wedding was perfect. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but I’m so glad we went for it. Having that quiet, personal moment before the ceremony was huge. It gave us time to connect and enjoy the moment without distractions and to get some awesome photos before the ceremony. This meant we got to actually enjoy cocktail hour, have a drink, and not worry about missing out on anything while taking photos. It ended up being one of the best parts of the day.
When I first saw the photos, I was with my wife and family —the photos were so powerful and beyond expectation. Every shot captured such raw emotion and beauty. It was incredible how Jenna made the experience so much fun, too. The photos didn’t feel stiff or posed, they were just real moments full of joy, laughter, and love. I hate posing for pictures and her process made it a lot easier for me.
Another thing that really stood out was how much Jenna and her team made us feel comfortable. They weren’t just working—they felt like part of the celebration. I can honestly say I’d hang out with any of them outside of the wedding. They brought so much positivity and energy to the day, while still being completely professional and never intrusive.
Looking back, I feel incredibly lucky that Jenna was the photographer for our wedding. She captured moments we’ll remember forever, and she did it all with such care and attention to detail. The whole experience was not only beautiful but also a lot of fun. We've both looked at the photos a million times

The most amazing photographer
My wife and I had an amazing elopement in large part thanks to Jenna Lee and her team. We were with her on our wedding day as well as the day prior. She helped us to arrange these two days so that we made the most of our time together, suggesting amazing locations and answering all our questions about the itinerary. Though we were planning these days on separate sides of the country she gave us confidence in the plan. In person she is extremely warm and welcoming, we were a little nervous, but she made us feel very much at ease. We would give Jenna Lee and her team our highest recommendation 😊 -

I used Jenna Lee Pictures for my engagement pictures. They were great at helping coordinate planning so I could pull off a surprise beach engagement in Halona Beach. They captured the whole engagement beautifully. Post wedding Honeymoon Pictures
During our honeymoon in Hawaii, I decided to surprise my wife with an engagement photoshoot session with Jenna Lee and her husband. We had a sunrise photoshoot at Lanikai beach and it was gorgeous! Jenna asked us about what we had in mind for the photo shoot, and we just told her what ever she believe is best. She was extreme professional and guide us through beautiful shots. All the pictures that were taken that day were absolutely gorgeous and phenomenal. If you are ever thinking of doing a photo shoot in Hawaii, we recommend her extremely. She absolutely is the best! Breath Taking
Beautiful sunrise experiences with this amazing soul Jenna Lee. My fiancé and I pictured a colorful background with the ocean and she had a big selection to chose from. The photo selection was breath taking. She was able to capture moments of pure joy and happiness. All were genuine moments and not staged. She didn’t rush the process and took her time to make sure we were happy with our session. She very easy to work with and would recommend her to friends and family. -

It was me and my husband's first time to Hawaii together and I wanted to get some professional photos done. We're both pretty self conscious but Jenna made us feel so comfortable and we were having so much fun that time flew! It felt like a couple of friends just hanging out and taking some great shots together. She gives amazing direction and knows exactly how to get the best natural moments. I never downloaded so many photos of myself in my life. We showed a lot of our friends and they even said it was the best photos we've ever had taken because you can really see our love for each other. I definitely plan on reaching out to her every time we want to do a photoshoot. You'll regret not booking her! Trust me! -

We had Jenna shoot our wedding 9.7.21 and she was just amazing. Our photos came out perfect and we could not have asked for a better photographer team. We opted for a little longer time with Jenna to get some extra photos and we were glad we did. Jenna is extremely creative and had us do some things we never thought would look so good but really glad we did! She went above any beyond even re-editing some photos for us. I would highly recommend Jenna to anyone looking for wedding photography. 100% worth it and 100% recommend. -

We wanted a couple's photoshoot that captures the beauty of Hawaii and reflects how much fun we were having on the islands—Jenna did just that! Jenna made us feel really comfortable and we had a blast during the photoshoot. She and her team (Sean and Jerry) were also the most patient, flexible, and accommodating as we navigated through a few unexpected issues (none of which was their fault, including a search & rescue mission that shut down and almost crashed their drone!). Because of that, our photos came out a little different than what we had planned, but stunning nonetheless. Highly recommend! -

I have to give my praises to Jenna Lee and her team for making my Hawaiian wedding dream come true. I have obsessively followed her Instagram for years, even before I got engaged I vowed Jenna Lee would be my wedding photographer no matter what, she was actually the first person we booked before we planned anything, so she had no idea where our venue was yet, or what we had planned. All I knew is that we would have a secret elopement, somewhere on Oahu. We purchased the photo and video package with her, which also included a military discount. When I arrived at our venue at Kualoa Ranch and was shocked to see Jenna Lee and she had a whole team with her, even for our small elopement. If you wanted a wedding photographer that will go above and beyond and take control, this is her! She took so many photos of us, even though our elopement was about three hours.
I actually got worried towards the end, because It was also important for me to get photos of me in my traditional hanbok/ Korean wedding dress and we were running out of time. Jenna Lee worked her magic and somehow convinced the venue to let us shoot a couple more photos on the other side of the dock, so they could park the canoe and not have to wait for us. She got us an extra 30 minutes past closing time and took photos of my husband and I in our second outfits. I am forever grateful that she honored my culture and made sure I got the photos I needed to cherish my memories. With the amount of photos I received, you would think I had an all day and night wedding! I also want to give a special thank you to Sean who shot and out together our video, and constantly communicated on when we would get our wedding video. It was a lovely surprise to drop on everyone and the video brought everyone to tears! Thank you again Jenna Lee for making our dreams come true. -

Jenna and her team were so great! My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary and wanted some wedding photos since we did not have them 10 years ago and Jenna did not disappoint. She made our trip to Hawaii so memorable and special and I was almost in tears of happiness seeing our photos. Jenna had a last minute scheduling conflict, but still surprised us at our shoot even though she had a flight to catch, now that was so unexpected and sweet of her! Jenna Lee and her tribe really know how to knock it out of the park! I was so nervous about getting my pictures taken all day, I always feel really awkward in front of the camera or with a lot of attention on me, but as soon as I met Jenna and her team that feeling melted away. She is so down to earth and personable you feel like you've known her forever! She brings a very calming energy to the whole experience, which on a wedding day is so important! She knows how to help you relax in pictures and smile. She has tons of fun little ways to get you to laugh in the photos and she is so creative in getting a great shot. I was so blown away by the sneak peek shots she got of us and our family and friends! If you have the chance to book her, don't hesitate, just do it! I smile so wide every time I look at these pictures. She captures the energy, emotion, and fun of the day SO well! She and her team are also very prompt, professional, and reliable. During the planning phase, I asked to make a change to my package and they accommodated me without any hesitation, I truly appreciated that given the stress and expense of planning a wedding. Best photographer of all time
When we first started planning our wedding in Hawaii, I was doing a ton of research and came across Jenna Lee. I fell in love IMMEDIATELY with her work and knew I wanted her for our wedding. The more planning I did, the more I got away from the small ceremony idea we wanted originally. We made the choice to keep it simple and went with a wedding package that came with photography. I told my parents the only gift we needed was an adventure session with Jenna, and I am so glad they came through! The weather didn’t comply with our original location, so she found areas that would be less rainy/windy just a few hours before the shoot. The second we got out of the car at the first stop- HEAVY RAIN, wind- all of it. We shot anyway and Jenna turned my rats nest hair and our soaking wet clothes into straight up ART. She and Sean were so fun and give off the best energy, it was immediately comfortable and she provided excellent guidance on how to look or stand or move, so that even someone as awkward as I am could be at ease. My husband has said I’m not allowed to print them all and turn the house into a shrine of our wedding, but... we’ll see. If you want to make a new friend, have fun and have gorgeous pictures you’ll cherish forever, Jenna Lee is your girl. She does not disappoint! -

I have no words. Jenna is a damn magician. Seriously. Writing this review I know won't do her any justice. Photography was the one thing I really wanted to splurge on when planning our wedding because I knew that this milestone was one I wanted to be able to look back on through photos and feel like I was there again. Jenna is a true master at her craft. She has this unnatural ability to capture the feelings and emotions during the moment just as they are. When we sought her out to do our photos, I knew they were going to be amazing, duh, it's Jenna. But oh my gosh, they left me SPEECHLESS. They are jaw-dropping. It feels like we are reliving that special moment every time we look at them. Which is what I wanted most out of our wedding photos. The photos that you get during this time are the ones that you will be looking at for the rest of your life. You are trusting someone to capture a moment you won't ever get back. That's why Jenna is perfect. The thing about Jenna is she focuses on the real and the raw moments. Not so much on the posed, overly-stiff photos that I knew for certain I didn't want, and was trying to avoid. Her eye for candidacy mixed with her true understanding of light and space creates these unbelievably unique photos that blow your expectations out of the water. So get this, not only is she talented, I can't say enough about her heart. It's pure, solid gold. She has this way about her where you feel so taken care of, and so special. She's so dedicated to her craft, that she stops at next to nothing to make sure she gets the angle and the shot that she wants. She's also very directive when she needs to be- so the awkwardness of forced photos is gone (which is such a relief because that was something my hubby and I were both worried about). If you were even for a second doubting if you should book her, do it, and then thank me later (once you get your photos back and cry out of sheer happiness). I recommend her over and over and over again. I can't thank her enough for delivering us these photos. They're truly the greatest gift and will be on our walls for years to come. WE LOVE YOU JENNA!!!! -

I was thrilled when I saw the photos Jenna took for our wedding. She went above and beyond what we were expecting in terms of photo volume, and the photo quality was great. She has the option for creating a photo album of the event as well, which we certainly took advantage of. Jenna is very fun and easy to work with and knows just what to say to the couple to get the right shot. She was able to come up with some very creative shots I never would have thought to take which turned out terrific, which speaks to her creativity to adapt to what the environment around her and the couple offers (e.g. she got a shot of the moon between the two of our faces backlit by a sunset and palm trees). We took our photos on the day of the wedding, so we were on a tight schedule, but Jenna made sure that we got all the shots we wanted and needed while keeping us on track so that we wouldn't miss any of our events. I would highly recommend her for anyone's wedding. -

Jenna lee is amazing!
Jenna Lee did SUCH a phenomenal job capturing all the special moments and little details at our wedding, we got married on 12/29/19 at Waimea Valley and I can’t gush enough –all of the photos are UNREAL GORGEOUS!
From start to finish, everything about working with Jenna Lee and her team was so fantastic! They were prompt in their communication and flexible with us on our wants/needs. Plus, we had a blast filling out the detailed questionnaire that Jenna Lee sent us – it’s obvious how much she cares about her clients, and wants to get a good idea of what is important to you, which is really meaningful especially in the hubbub and craziness of a wedding!
On our wedding day, Jenna had such good energy and made taking pictures so fun and easy for us! She worked seamlessly with our other vendors to stay on timeline and make the most of each moment! She came prepared with our shot list, and made sure we got all the photos we wanted (even when we requested like a zillion different combinations for our massive wedding party)!
And goodness gracious – the MAGIC Jenna Lee created is just jaw-dropping! She delivered the gallery as promised on time and I was blown away by the sheer number of photos she took, and the quality of all the stunning content she provided! From using crystals to create lens flares, to braving being in sword-range to get the shot, to capitalizing on a rising moon – Jenna Lee made every minute count! Her creative soul and talent are so apparent in her work and it is obvious photography is her passion!
Thank you for all that you do Jenna Lee! I feel so lucky to have met you and gotten to work with you and we will cherish the memories you captured so beautifully for the rest of our lives!

My husband and I got married at Loulu Palm Farm on Oahu in October and we were thrilled to have Jenna Lee as our photographer! She is the most fun, creative, and talented photographer! When we had our first conversation with her, we knew we had to book her immediately- she had such a great energy and really knew her "stuff".
On the day of our wedding, she was so prepared and even had a stash of bobby pins for me to use later in the evening when my hair began to fall from dancing! She's prepared for anything and everything. Her assistant, Sean, was wonderful as well and they made a great team.
Jenna Lee takes beautiful and creative photos that capture the natural light and elements. I haven't stopped looking at our photos since we received them and can't wait to do an adventure shoot with her when we go back to Hawaii! -

Look no further, you have found your girl!!!! Where oh where to begin?! My goodness, we just got our pictures back and we are through the roof THRILLED with the memories Jenna Lee and her team captured!!! Hands downs, she is the best photographer on the island. We stumbled across Jenna Lee while at a friend’s wedding in Hawaii, and were sooo impressed by her ability to completely blend in yet so perfectly direct the crowd for group shots. Fast forward a year later, and she was capturing the most special day of our lives. We went with her wedding and video package along with the special adventure session. Let me tell you, it was worth every single penny!!!! Jenna Lee and her team are standout professionals, and so sweet and fun to be around. From the moment they showed up, you could tell they have some serious experience under their belts. They knew exactly which shots to get, and had extreme amounts of creativity. She took some sort of double exposure shot(not sure I’m saying that right), but it blew our minds. So, so artistic! They also were able to capture so much of the day we would’ve never been able to see. Truly priceless! We are definitely not the most coordinated pair in front of a camera, yet Jenna somehow worked her magic and got the most beautiful images of our day!! She made us both feel so extremely comfortable and just made the entire experience really fun for us. Jenna and her team are very professional which made setting up our appointment and communicating what we wanted from the shoot very easy.
Neither my fiancé or I had ever done a professional photoshoot before and Jenna made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was able to get some beautiful candid shots that really show us as a couple.
After the actual photoshoot took place we were able to access all of our photos on an online platform which Jenna shared with us in a matter of weeks! This made it incredibly convenient to download photos instantly, share with friends and family, and also had the option to have Jenna print photos directly!
I could not recommend Jenna Lee Picture more highly. The professional and convenient set up of her business is very impressive (not to mention her insane and creative photography skills!!!) gave my fiancé and I memories that will last a lifetime. -

I don’t even know where to start. DESTINATION bride is what some would call me. When I decide to have my dream wedding in Hawaii finding the perfect photographer was top on my list. There were many many MANY to choose from. One day I came across Jenna’s work and was taken away. I literally stalked her Instagram for weeks. When I received notification back that she was available for my date It literally meant the world to me. I knew with out a doubt that I was in good hands. Through out the entire process of planning she kept an open line of communication to ensure every piece of detail I wanted captured would be given.
I wanted to take a day before the wedding to have photos taken at the beach with my family. With everything planned out and ready to go I had to change those plans due to my flight being delayed and other unforeseen issues. With NO hesitation Jenna suggested I wait to make sure I was in good spirit and would enjoy the photo shoot as I had envision. I’m so happy I did. During the photo shoot I finally felt like a bride. My family was taken good care of. She guided us through the entire process. When my sweet 7 year old seem to be UN interested, she quickly gave him a job that empowered him to be a little director 😍.
Nope doesn’t stop here.. the day of the wedding I was running behind with make up and hair. From previous conversation Jenna knew how important the first look was to me. She quickly dashed to the site grab all of the kids and hubby to be and made her magic happen. I felt like I had known her for YEARS!! The entire night at the wedding my family and guest continued to be amazed by her and the staff.

Booking Jenna Lee Pictures as our photographer was the best decision we made during wedding planning! She was flexible with our requests and knew exactly what to say to motivate us for stellar photos. Jenna and her assistant worked nonstop for 8 hours and perfectly captured our fairy tale wedding. Not only is she extremely personable and goes above and beyond to make all of her clients feel special, beautiful, and valued, but she is the epitome of a professional. She does anything necessary to capture the most memorable moments. She did an engagement shoot for us and photographed and videoed our wedding. I can't even tell you how many of our family and guests complimented on how great Jenna and her staff were. The pictures turned out even more amazing than I ever could have imagined (although I shouldn't be so surprised!) and I have Jenna to thank for that. The beautiful photos are a constant reminder of our special day. HANDS DOWN the best photographer. You would be silly not to hire her!
