We had the best experience working with Jeff for our elopement. He is such a cool guy and and amazing artist. His style really comes out in his photos.
From the start, he made everything feel easy and natural. We’re not people who are super comfortable in front of a camera, but Jeff has a way of making you feel completely at ease, which really shows in the photos.
Jeffs attention to detail and his ability to capture the essence of who you are as a couple is what make his photos incredibly special. His style is unique and really stands out from a typical wedding photographer. The photos feel both timeless and fun, which is exactly what we wanted.
We’re so grateful we trusted him with the most important day for us, and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

From the very first meeting with Jeff he made me feel at ease. I had seen his work and absolutely loved it, but his personality is what sealed the deal! Looking through so many photographers it felt very business focused, whereas with Jeff its his true passion and its so amazing to be apart of his craft. He was one of the first vendors I was booking and was so nervous about everything, but after one meeting with him I knew I could put my full trust in him. After receiving my photos, I knew I was right. Jeff captured my wedding so beautifully I was in tears reflecting back at the photos. He truly captured the feel of the moment and his artistic vision for shots, colors, and textures makes the photos next level. You cannot go wrong with hiring Jeff! -

Jeff is truly a master of his craft. We were first drawn to his portfolio for its dramatic lighting and distinctive, artistic perspective. It felt different from the typical wedding photography we were seeing. From our very first conversation, it was clear that Jeff understood our vision, and that confidence carried through our engagement shoot and the wedding day itself. His laid-back personality put us at ease, and we completely trusted him to capture our day.
We’re not used to being in front of the camera, but the engagement session was the perfect trial run. By the time the wedding arrived, we felt comfortable and relaxed, especially after getting to know Jeff over the course of the year. We knew we didn’t want overly posed, traditional photos, and even with the family portraits, Jeff had an incredible ability to capture genuine, animated moments that felt full of life and true to everyone’s personalities.
When we received our gallery, the photos were everything we had hoped for and more. Jeff captured not only the big moments, but also the moments we missed while the day flew by. Looking through the images felt like stepping back into our wedding day, and so many of them felt like genuine works of art rather than just wedding photos. -

I found Jeff a few years ago and have hired him for several projects because he just absolutely crushes it, every time. When it came to my wedding, I told Jeff I didn’t want any stale wedding photos. I asked for authentic moments and artsy captures that were solid pics independent of my obvious emotional bias to the day and subject matter- and he delivered. If you need a photography vendor who isn’t uptight, boring, or predictable, Jeff is your guy. Beautiful work, casual, fun vibes, and possibly a new best friend? After our wedding reception, I think Jeff is officially a part of our family now too. -

Working with Jeff for our wedding photos was amazing! He made sure that we were taken care of from the very beginning. He is very communicative, he made sure that we were all on the same page during our initial meeting. He even checked up on us when we were unsure and followed up with an email to ask questions. During the wedding he was punctual. When we took our photos we felt very comfortable and were impressed of his creativity! He was good at offering direction and capturing the moment during our wedding. I would Highly recommend his services to anyone and I hope to work with him again soon. -

Look no further!
Wedding planning in Los Angeles can be a daunting task. One Google review yields thousands of hits. When my now Husband and I started our search for a wedding photographer we were looking for somebody unconventional. We didn't want our photos to look like the copy paste formula that so many people have been posing for for decades. That's when we found Jeff on a random Instagram search. His photos were beautiful, they felt personal, and that's exactly what we were searching for. I reached out right away and from the get go Jeff's communication has always been prompt and informative. After our first zoom meeting, we knew he was the guy that we wanted to work with. He understood what we were trying to capture on our wedding day, the hidden moments. We worked with Jeff for our Engagement Photos, and it honestly felt like the perfect trial run for the wedding. We met in Downtown LA and he instantly put us as ease. It can be nerve wracking to take professional photos on the streets with everyone staring, but Jeff managed to make it feel like it was just us. Our shoot was playful and intimate, and collaborative. I knew we were in good hands. On the day of our wedding Jeff was there right on time capturing all those amazing moments before the ceremony that I know we'll both cherish. From my mom and girlfriends helping me get ready, to our first looks and private vows, right down the aisle. Jeff was extremely patient and professional with our families who were not as comfortable in front of the camera, and once the party started he covered a lot of ground from dancing to party games, and all the love in between. Shooting with Jeff felt like shooting with a friend and that's what every Bride needs on her wedding day. That feeling like they have your best interest at heart. We would shoot with Jeff again and again, and could not recommend him enough. You won't be disappointed. -

Easy to work with and brought out the best in us
Jeff was so easy to work with, helped alot when we didn’t know what to do with our hands, got genuine laughs out of us. My husband and I were not used to being in front of a camera and working with a professional but Jeff made us feel like we were all hanging together as friends. He wasn’t disruptive with the day of our wedding just blended in well and took what I wanted for the day of and ran with it. Loved working with him! Will have to find an excuse to hire him again! -

The Best!!
Jeff is simply the BEST!! We booked him for our wedding and engagement photos and he was a dream to work with. Jeff helped us create an engagement photoshoot theme that fit our relationship perfectly and felt natural to us. My husband was very nervous to be in front of the camera but Jeff made us both feel so at ease so quickly. Before we knew it we were laughing, playing music, chatting, and just enjoying ourselves in front of Jeff’s camera. That ease transferred so well into our wedding day - he was so professional and easy to work with and the photos he created both for our wedding and our engagement can only be described as MAGIC! We’re completely in love with his work.

Jeff is a true profession at what he does. He was easy to get along and work with. He had an eye for taking photos at the best angles and at the best moments. Working with Jeff felt so easy from the first minute that we met with him. He seemed very laid back and shared our same priorities when it came to our wedding. His emphasis on capturing the emotions of the day while still having fun with the shots is what drew us to his work in the first place and we can say with confidence that he delivered.
Starting with our engagement pictures, we met him at sunrise in the Alabama Hills. He clearly had a vision and was so great at giving directions to people who are not used to being photographed at all. The couple of hours that we spent there were full of laughter and admiring amazing views. When we got the pictures back our breaths were taken away by how Jeff was able to capture the natural beauty of the Eastern Sierra while showcasing very real emotions. We knew that for our wedding, it was going to be amazing.
Leading up to our wedding, I spoke with Jeff a few times but he was the last vendor that I was worried about as he is incredibly professional and dependable.
When our wedding rolled around, Jeff was flexible and rolled with the punches. Where we had chosen to take family pictures ahead of the ceremony was experiencing quite the wind event. As the bride, I became very quickly frustrated and left much earlier than intended. Jeff rolled with our schedule and ended up capturing some beautiful moments at our pre ceremony cocktail hour with our family and wedding party that was completely unplanned. Then, during our ceremony, we barely even knew that Jeff was there. In fact for the entire rest of our day, he remained invisible. While we love hanging out with Jeff, we cannot even believe that he was there to capture certain moments because he was non-intrusive and allowed us to fully be present in our day while capturing so many candid happy moments. This was such a gift as one of our biggest takeaways from our wedding was how truly in the moment we were with all of our loved ones without a photographer in your face. We did not necessarily have this high on our list when thinking about wedding photographer's but looking back, Jeff captured the day perfectly while allowing us to make very real memories without a camera in our faces.
The pictures of this day will be something we will treasure forever and if you want the same amazing wedding day experience, Jeff is your guy, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! -

Jeff is a solid human being and an amazing photographer. From our very first Zoom call with him, we knew he was the person we wanted to work with! He made us both feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and made sure to bring the calm, supportive energy for our wedding day. He's playful yet professional and gives good direction (so appreciated for the camera shy people like us!). Our locations were already beautiful (Joshua Tree and the Santa Cruz Mountains)...but Jeff went above and beyond to make sure the lighting and mood of each photo amplified the beautiful locations we were in. My husband and I hired Jeff for our engagement shoot and very quickly re-booked him for our wedding. Aside from the absolutely stunning photos, one of the things that stood out about working with Jeff over other wedding photographers I've worked with was how relaxed he made everything feel. Despite an obviously strict timeline, nothing ever felt stressful or rushed. There was no pressure to over pep any of our photos or make it feel like something that wasn't us. Jeff was the first vendor we picked because we knew we wanted an amazing photographer and looking at his Instagram and website, we knew he was the one we wanted. All I can say is, we will be booking Jeff again in the future from something or other. He is an incredible photographer and a really cool dude. He accommodated us with every ask and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Some of our favorite photos are where Jeff added a little flare by adding a little movement into the photos or other artsy types of photography techniques. We will definitely be asking for more of those on our next shoot. Also, those black-and-white shots were just money. So good. -

Exactly the Vibe
If you are looking for a creative, quirky, out-of-the-box photographer for your wedding Jeff is your dude! My husband and I were looking for a photographer who had a photojournalist approach and would understand our vision and Jeff executed perfectly! We wanted to bring the 60’s and 70’s and lots of color into our engagement shoot & wedding and Jeff had a very “f*ck yeah” attitude and helped us bring that vision to life. The perfect choice for your wedding! Chill vibes with bold personality
The two people you will spend the most time with during your wedding is your photographer and your videographer, so it was important that we vibed with both of them. We LOVE Jeff. He was the first vendor we booked for our wedding. We met over zoom and he had a super chill personality that we knew we wanted for our wedding. We felt like we had known him for years and it was so comfortable. I found Jeff on IG and loved how he was able to capture the love of all his couples. His photographs are so beautiful…they were genuine and not super staged or awkward looking. My husband and I are probably the most awkward/uncomfortable when posing but Jeff put us at ease. It was fun and hilarious and he was the perfect choice for our special day. His photographs are bold, beautiful, and everything we wanted and didn’t know we wanted. Unfortunately, I was one of those brides that had a shot list because our family is the most important to us so we HAD TO get those family photos and everything else was bonus. Jeff didn’t complain about anything we asked for and did an AMAZING job. My only regret is not having more of artsy-completely signature Jeff photos he has in his portfolio. Jeff is truly an artist and took gorgeous photos of our wedding and we are so lucky to relive our wedding day. -

Working with Jeff was an absolutely amazing experience, and he captured our special day in a way that we only could have dreamed of. We hired Jeff to shoot both our engagement photos, as well as our wedding, and in both cases, he far exceeded our expectations. Jeff is an amazing person, photographer, and artist. My husband and I were looking for a wedding photographer that would capture our silly nature and love for one another in unique and un-staged moments. Also, we hoped to find a photography style that was captivating in color, contrast, and lighting that all told a consistent story. And man, did we find all of that and more with Jeff!! His photos are truly art and speak for themselves.
Also, he was so fun and easy to work with from the first meeting, to engagement photos, and the wedding day. We appreciated all the little tricks he used to keep my husband and I stay focused on each other and not the camera. Jeff turned around sneak peak photos in a couple days and timely delivered a huge album of digital photos that we will cherish forever.
Out of all the decisions planning our wedding, booking Jeff as our photographer was the best decision by far! -

Talented Photographer, Great Person
We initially reached out to Jeff because we loved his style and he was offering high-quality photos at a price that fit our modest budget. What we got was not only high-quality photos, but also a high-quality experience. After planning a 60-person wedding for May, COVID-19 hit and our plans changed drastically. Jeff was extremely flexible and worked with us to create new arrangements that fit our adjusted plans for a very intimate, socially-distanced wedding. I can't overstate how valuable that was to use during a time when so much was uncertain - Jeff made things easy and comfortable. We can't recommend Jeff enough! -

Easy and one of our most favorite photoshoots!
First, let me start off by saying that Jeff is so talented at what he does. We met Jeff for the first time at a photo shoot on the high line in NYC. Often, it can be awkward taking photos with someone you’ve never met before. I should also note that we are a polyamorous family and that it can be challenging for photographers to capture three people instead of two people who make a couple. Jeff was so easy going that he made us feel SO comfortable during the shoot. He isn’t the posey kind of photographer, but instead gives you the space to just BE while he captures you in your essence. Our photo shoot with him is by far one of our most favorite ones. He captured our sweet and silly moments- he captured our exact essence. Jeff is friendly, professional, and easy to work with. It was an honor working with him, and we’d do it again in a heart beat! We often look at our photos from his shoot, and every time we look at the photos, we feel the same level of excitement and amazement as when we first received the gallery. His art will always be one that we hold dear in our hearts. -

Jeff was absolutely the right photographer for us. Picking a wedding photographer in the DC area was overwhelming, but we’re so grateful we stumbled upon Jeff’s work. We loved his artistic style, and working with him was very natural. My partner and I both don’t like getting our pictures taken and are generally pretty awkward in front of the camera, but Jeff just told us to never look at him and he captured us interacting, joking, and being ourselves. It provided us with way more authentic pictures that truly captures the spirit of our relationship. We enjoyed the included engagement session because it let us get to know each other before the big day and gave us one less thing to need to worry about. Our friends and family all loved working with him as well, and we were so impressed with his talent and vision. -

Jeff is our new favorite person!
It was so nice to work with Jeff. He really helped guide us to caption moments we didn't know we wanted. He was so friendly and very easy to talk to. He really understood what we were looking for and it helped he was so fun to be around. I enjoyed talking to him prior to the wedding almost on a weekly basis as our plans kept changing. He went with it and kept reminding me it would be a beautiful day regardless of the weather or where our location ended up at. The day of our wedding he really helped get everyone together and keep things moving. Never once was I going "where's Jeff?" I want to have more events just so I can ask him to photograph again. -

From the moment we meet him at his wife's bakery in Virginia, we knew it was a done deal. He was so welcoming and knowledgable about his company and work. Any question we had, he had an answer.
Knowing that our engagement pictures were a part of his wedding package left us with an ease of mind. Now about ur engagement session, PHENOMENAL. Jeff made sure to get all the best shots, worked our golden retriever into the shots, and even went out on a boat with us to get the shots that we desired. We were so grateful that he was open to the locations and shots that we were hoping to achieve. Jeff was flexible and kept the entire shoot very upbeat so that every picture looked natural and matched the personality of us as a couple.
Our wedding day was the best day ever, and my husband and I have zero regrets about asking Jeff to capture it. The small sneak peaks that we received within 24 hours from Jeff were everything and more. He and his second photographer, Erika, were by far one amazing at getting all of the shots and more that we had hoped for on our wedding day. Our entire families had nothing but great things to say about the two of them on our wedding day. We were especially grateful with how flexible and understanding they were about making sure to get my elderly grandparents in shots and my cousin with special needs. Not many photographers would be that understanding when having to work with so many elements. Jeff and Erika were a party of the party that night on the dance floor. Throughout the entire day they were never obtrusive in the moments at the church or reception, and they simply a seamless party of our wedding day. They stayed till the bitter end and achieved shots that our friends and family cannot get enough of.
We cannot wait to see the rest of their amazing photos from the day, and to work with Jeff again.

Annie Sent on 03/24/2018I hired Jeff to photograph my wedding after seeing the amazing photos he took of my cousin's wedding. He did not disappoint. Leading up to the wedding, he was communicative and thoughtful to ask if there was any sort of style I wanted in particular. My wedding included a Vietnamese ceremony, and I was interested in simulating some of my parents' wedding photos of the same ceremony. He has a great eye and delivered. I consider myself to have a good eye for photography and I think he's incredibly creative and will give you some really unique shots that you will love. He made everyone look great, too. He's reliable, relaxed, and flexible and I highly recommend him for your big day.

He caught intimate candids, made us feel at ease and comfortable in group photos and caught absolutely amazing shots of the ceremony. We felt like very special customers of his and I HIGHLY recommend using him for your wedding or whatever function you need him for. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

Noemi Sent on 11/30/2017I saw Jeff's add on Craigslist while I was looking for an affordable photographer. As soon as I messaged him, I received a prompt response. He gave us an extremely affordable quote and we could tell from our first meeting with him that he was the right man for the job. Neither of us is comfortable in front of the camera. Jeff did our engagement shoot and already had us laughing and feeling natural while taking pictures of us. The day of the wedding, Jeff felt like family. He really made everyone feel comfortable while shooting and captured great images from the ceremony through the whole reception. We loved the outcome and are so pleased with the pictures! It took a while to get them but Jeff kept us updated while he had computer issues. Once that was fixed it was really easy to access all our photos. And Jeff continues to be responsive even when I email him now! I'd definitely hire him again myself and certainly recommend him to others. -

He responded so quickly and was willing and able to accommodate our requests, especially on a some-what short notice. He made it a point to ask what our ideas were, and what images were most important to us to capture. When it came time to the wedding day, it was a blast! He was a lot of fun to work with. That night we had sneak peak photos, a full album of 100+ photos was delivered so quickly! Almost two years later, we continue to follow his work on instagram.

We reached out via email and the response was almost immediate. His pricing was so affordable that my husband and I thought we were getting rinky dink photos but with such short notice and great pricing we took a chance. I have never been so happy that we did. He was very prompt and kept an open line of communication. He was also very professional but made us feel so comfortable and it shows in our photos! Once we received our online gallery and album I had people asking for his information left and right. Do yourself a huge favor and book the coolest photographer I know :)

Amazing person and photographer
There are so many choices when it comes to planning the perfect wedding but Jeff made it easy to pick a photographer. During our first encounter, I could tell he wasn't just another vendor because we talked for an HOUR! About ourselves, our families, and our vision. He made all my wildest photo dreams come true and didn't judge me when I had a silly idea. Durring our engagement photos with Jeff my now husband and I went to the wrong location. Despite having to cut our time short due to sunlight, Jeff made every second and every shot count and even offered us a 2nd day of photos at no extra charge. He knows the stress that comes with weddings and helped me loosen up and smile big. He also helped me find the perfect videographer for our wedding day.
