From start to end, Jeanne was so accommodating. From scheduling to my arrival the day of, she was flexible and worked with my schedule. She did just an amazing job working with my natural curls, and making my ideas come to light. She even gave me some floral accents! The make up came out perfectly.
Overall, you can tell that she cares so much about each client, and has a ton of experience. She has really perfected her craft. I highly recommend her hair and make up services!

Fall Wedding
Communication and coordinating with Jeanne and her stylist Halle was very easy. I was out of state planning the wedding so being able to communicate was key. I definitely recommend doing a trial run at the Hummingbird Cottage. It’s so cozy and gives a great opportunity with no day of stress to choose your look! I looked and felt beautiful on my wedding day and my photographer kept commenting throughout the night at how fresh my makeup looked without touching up.

I came across Jeanne's Hair & Makeup Studio when researching wedding hair and make-up vendors in the Asheville area—and I'm so glad that I worked with Jeanne! She is an experienced professional and has done hair and make-up for decades; she has a lot of wisdom and good intuition when it comes to finding a style that really works for her clients. Personally, I don't wear a lot of make-up or do my hair, so I went to Jeanne with a request to do a more natural approach to my hair and make-up. In addition to make-up for myself, I also requested additional services from Jeanne to do hair and make-up for seven bridesmaids, my sister, my mom, and my mother-in-law. Jeanne was always quick and prompt in her responses and easy to work with. I did a trial run of my wedding hair and make-up with Jeanne (which I highly recommend) and we figured out a great look for my wedding day. Jeanne is really efficient in her work! I was ready in no time at all! On the wedding day, Jeanne and her team of stylists came to the venue and worked through my bridal party very efficiently. On top of that, they also worked with each member in my bridal party to create a style that made them feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. I really appreciated their attention to detail. Jeanne and her team began at 8am and we were all finished with hair and make-up before noon, with plenty of time to relax before the wedding ceremony. Working with Jeanne was a smooth and easy process; plus, her services are very affordable given her experience, wisdom, and knowledge. Thank you, Jeanne!

Wonderful Wedding Experience
I hired Jeanne and her team for my wedding recently and they did a wonderful job. They were prompt to the venue and we were able to get all 6 adults and 3 flower girls ready for a 4pm ceremony with plenty of time to spare. I also loved Jeanne's trademark "something blue" little hairpiece that was put in my updo. She made me and my bridal party feel beautiful on such a special day and I cannot thank her and her staff enough.

Jeanne is an absolute angel. She did my hair & makeup for both my engagement shoot & my wedding. I called her in a panic 2 days before my engagement shoot when the friend I had originally hired canceled on me. She happily penciled me in & did incredible work.
I had originally picked out a combo veil look for my wedding day & the morning of, I switched one of the chosen veils to a different one. She didn't bat an eye or show any signs of stress or frustration at the change! She happily turned me into a princess fit for my castle wedding with a smile on her face! My day with Jeanne
Jeanne was very professional, however we had a few too many visitors as the space is tight. They are working to expand though. I looked on her website for hairstyles that she had done before and it worked out great. I love that airbrushing and false eyelashes are included in the price. My hair looked great too!

We did a hair and makeup trail months before the wedding that was super helpful, and I Ben though I made some changes to my makeup decisions after the fact, Jeanne and as very flexible in still making my makeup look exactly as I pictured on the wedding day! She was also very quick and efficient being able to do my makeup and hair as well as hair for my wedding three bridesmaids and my mom. The level of communication provided was perfect and always so sweet. You can really tell Jeanne is so excited and happy for her brides and wants to give them the best service possible. Everything was wonderful! I loved being able to have a hair and makeup trial and enjoyed meeting Jeanne. Liz (hair) and Cynthia (makeup) were spot on, they were early, timed everything perfectly, and honestly fit right in with the bridal party. Jeanne really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and listen to my vision for my hair and makeup. I really wanted to look like myself with a slightly elevated look and she did exactly that. The products she uses are also all very lightweight and didn't make me break out which was very nice. I was super stressed the whole day before the wedding and the morning of but as soon as I started getting ready and feeling beautiful the stress really melted away. My hair stayed the whole day and my makeup felt great and was easy to remove at the end of the day.

I had tried to book hair and makeup appointments for my wedding with other vendors but had trouble getting them to respond. Jeanne was very proactive about reaching out to see if I still was looking for a vendor. Although she was an hour and a half away from my venue, I decided to go with her. I'm glad I did. Christine, the stylist and makeup artist came to my location and did an excellent job. From wanting to see pictures of our ideas for hair and makeup to communicating with me throughout the process, the whole thing was very easy and organized. I got lots of compliments at the wedding, which means she did a great job making me look like a beautiful bride. Would definitely recommend this vendor.

Jeanne is so personable and knowledgeable about bridal looks. She provides a lot of communication over the phone and written. I enjoyed having my hair and makeup trial with her and she has exceeded my expectations on my wedding day. Pleased with this clean and professional environment she creates. She traveled to my mountain wedding and with the help of her selected assistants had myself, the mothers, and 10 other girls from the bridal party looking gorgeous. I was impressed with how gentle and calm they were with the 3 and 6 year old children too. They had us finished an hour before the morning ceremony for some bridal party photos that I will treasure forever. She is dedicated and experienced which were a top priority for me when picking a hair stylist and makeup artist.

Relaxing Wedding Hair & Makeup Experience
Jeanne is a sweetheart! I felt so comfortable and relaxed while getting ready. I wanted a half up curled hairstyle & a sparkly smokey eye for my wedding day and that's exactly what I got! This was my first ever experience getting my hair and makeup done professionally, and it totally shows. I felt so pampered and taken care of. The makeup was applied with airbrushing and my lashes and lipstick were included to take home. Jeanne was also kind enough to gift me a champagne bag, a garter, and a small "something blue" hair clip. The salon is adorable surrounded by flowers and plants and if you're lucky -- some hummingbirds. A lovely stress-free experience all around, highly recommend!

We got married on 8/6/22 and Jeanne did a wonderful job on my hair and makeup! She was able to create the exact look that I asked for and incorporate the elements that I wanted as far as decorative clips and pins. I was very nervous that my style wasn't going to hold up because it was rainy and humid the day of my wedding, and my hair is stubborn and frizzy and doesn't hold styles very well to begin with, but it held up all day and night even after getting spritzed with rain while we were taking pictures before the ceremony. I loved that she was so flexible and is able to accommodate any number of additional guests who wanted hair and makeup services. Would recommend!

Jeanne made me look beautiful for my wedding day. She showed up on time and she was so pleasant. She made my hair and make up look absolutely beautiful. We had great conversation with her and really enjoyed her. I would 100% recommend her for doing your hair and make up.

Fabulous! Competent and creative!
Jeanne is supremely competent and understands the needs and complexities of providing top notch hair and makeup prep for the big day! The artists she sent, Tabatha and Rebecca were so professional and good at their work, sensing how to being out the loveliness in everyone. They asked questions, explained everything they were doing and were responsive to feedback. I would highly recommend Jeanne and her talented group of hair and makeup artists.

Destination Wedding
Jeanne, Barbara, Cori were fantastic! They are so talented with hair and makeup. Jeanne was so accommodating to work with seven of us. She explained things very thoroughly and checked in several times as the date got closer. Jeanne and Cori created masterpieces with our hair, and Barbara added the finishing touches with make up. I cannot thank these wonderful ladies enough for helping to make my wedding day everything I wanted it to be and more!

Absolutely beautiful
Jeanne's Hair Studio was an absolutely perfect place to get our hair and makeup done.
Jeanne's associates, Alisha and Collani (my apologies if I'm misspelling!) were absolute gems. They had an absolute blast with my sister- and mother-in-law. They kept my bridesmaids giggling and were so incredibly attentive to my mom and my desires. They were patient with us and redid my "messy" braids to make them a smoother version of messy. Alisha, you're so patient. Both absolutely beautiful women inside and out, I left feeling as if I had friends.
I'm planning another excuse to get my hair and make-up professionally done again. Thank you, Alisha. All the most important women in my life felt absolutely beautiful because of the way you made them shine.

Amazing Service!
She was super nice and professional. I told her to be there at 1 and she got there 15 minutes early to set up! She brought a helper and got me, 2 bridesmaids, and 2 moms done within 2.5 hours roughly.

Amazing Experience with Alisha! I came into town for the wedding have to-do a trial the week of and she make me look amazing. She was so kind, caring and professional on top of that and I cannot thank her enough. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for help on their big day.

Jeanne saved the day!
The morning of my wedding day I woke up with rash! I had an afternoon appointment with Jeanne to put my hair up. Despite remaining as cool and calm as possible, my neck and décolleté still had blotches. Jeanne worked her magic not only on my my hair, which was stunning, but also airbrushed my skin flawlessly. She is the absolute best!!! The overall result had my fiancé break into tears when I walked down the aisle.

I was happy
I was happy with my hair and makeup. My hair was done early in the morning and it stayed all day. She also provided a few extra things to put in my hair which made a huge difference. She did my makeup quickly, and I thought it looked great. I loved the colors she used. Overall, I was happy.

Jeanne was amazing! She was the perfect person for hair and make up for our small wedding in highlands NC. She showed up on time and was a pleasure to work with. Her assistants were also fabulous. Everyone was very pleased with their hair and make up and she knew exactly what to do to be sure that we were photo ready for the entire day/evening. I would recommend her to all of my friends and family.

Nightmare fixed with grace!
Terrible experience on the day of my wedding with stylist Amanda. I had to redo my hair and makeup myself. I gave feedback to Ms. Jeanne months after my wedding who was not aware and she reimbursed me some of the money and offered to redo my makeup and hair. I never heard from the stylist. Unfortunately, we live in Texas and the wedding was a destination wedding. I appreciated her responsiveness, apologetic behavior and immediately wanting to make the experience feel better.

Last minute reservation went smoothly
I had extra ordinary circumstances that made my now husband and I did last minute reservation just a week away from our wedding date. Jeanne was quick to respond, willing to travel to our wedding location, and I have beautiful wedding makeup done by her. Thank you so much!
