We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Jean. She went above and beyond—stepping in to help me get dressed when everyone else was busy and keeping us on track with timing. She captured so many special moments we didn’t even realize were happening because we were so busy living in the moment, and we’re so grateful to have those memories preserved.
Jean’s professionalism and communication were top notch, and she was incredibly accommodating with every photo we wanted taken on our special day. Jean is a true professional that does outstanding work.
Jean likes to do an engagement session so that your first time working together isn't in the pressurized environment of the wedding day. I'm not sure how normal this is, but this is an excellent practice. I knew from this point that our eventual wedding photos would be great, because our personalities (generally laid-back, only a general concept of what we wanted) clicked really well with hers. Jean had a great base plan that gave us space to have fun inside of. My wife really wanted some engagement pictures in the desert near Red Rock, so it worked out in multiple ways.
She is very prepared and professional in putting together and walking through the plan of the wedding day itself. In the course of 2-3 calls, we had a solid plan for what needed to happen and when it would happen, from the lay-flat items, to the getting-ready pictures, to the first look, to the ceremony, to the intermission pictures, to the reception.
We did not get a second photographer for our morning wedding. Jean was there and covered it all. In every phase of the six hours she was with us, she was always where she needed to be, and the photos are outstanding. Loosely speaking, my wife's favorites were the pictures taken between the ceremony and reception, while my favorites were the candids she captured during the reception. She makes an effort to get at least one picture of every guest/attendee (unless they don't want it), and they are all excellent.
During our initial shopping for photographers, Jean's prices seemed incredibly reasonable in comparison to the other wedding photographers I saw. After the wedding, I feel like we got a steal. Even with the engagement session (which itself is worth every penny), Jean still charges below-average rates for excellent work.
Jean got our wedding photos back to us in 32 days. The digital photo album includes 493 pictures, which means there were likely 5000+ captured during the day. They are uniformly outstanding - it's actually a shame that it only a few ever get used because so many deserve it. It speaks to her professionalism and work ethic to turn around this many pictures, especially as we were part of the busy spring wedding season in Las Vegas.
Jean was truly outstanding, very kind, very professional, and very talented. We can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Jean.

Jean was absolutely amazing and my guest loved her. She worked extremely well with everyone especially me because I was tired of pictures after a while but she captured every single moment without even asking. My guest said it was like she was there but not there. She is extremely sneaky with the shots. Lol! We laughed at our photos because of the moments she got. She didn’t miss a beat. -

Memorable and Fun
Due to COVID-19, our wedding was postponed 2years and Jean kept in contact/updated us during that entire time! She is absolutely amazing to work with and would respond within a few hours to any of my emails/texts, due to our wedding being destination. All of my family and wedding party all told me how much fun they had working with her during our wedding day and our photos turned out AMAZING that is is hard to pick which ones to frame!!!! No need to look any further for a photographer...Jean Phillips is the BEST!!!! -

Professional, caring, & wonderful
I worked with Jean Phillips when I got married on 03/26/22. To be honest I was nervous but after I spoke with her I got more and more comfortable with having her as our wedding photographer. When she showed up at the hotel to start taking pictures she was very professional. She introduced herself and she got right to work so that we weren't late for the ceremony. She got the most beautiful photos I could have ever imagined for my and my husband's day. She was extremely patient with our crazy family. LOL. She captured EVERY important memory I could have ever asked for. I would definitely recommend her to everyone and if we are ever in Las Vegas again I would look her up to take family pictures. Or if she travels I would pay for her to fly out to the Bay Area to do a family photo shoot. -

Amazing Photographer!!!
Jean Phillips Photography is second to none. She is not only easy to work with, but if you are looking for a photographer that is inobtrusive and shoots candid, classic photographs, capturing all the best moments of your wedding, look no further. She has an innate feel for what is important in the shoot and works to achieve a nature feel between bride and groom, no matter how nervous everyone may be, she is the calm in the storm and the photographs reflect the beauty. Jean captures all the classic moments and she also somehow captures the essence of the subjects. Prices are reasonable and just overall an easy, stress-free, joyful experience. -

Jean and I created a bond very quickly, I knew right away during our conversation that I wanted her to take my pictures. My wedding was planned last September but due to COVID we had to postpone the wedding. I was heartbroken but Jean stayed positive and kept me going. Jean stayed in contact with me for a year and a half until my wedding this September. I feel like we had a wedding adventure together. Jean captures special memories that last a lifetime. Amazing experience!
Jean made our day so special! She made us feel so comfortable throughout the process. Getting photographed can sometimes feel awkward, but she advised us on how to achieve the best photo, while still being natural. The process of working with Jean was amazing. She was in constant communication updating us on what to expect - this was very helpful as we were planning our wedding from across the country. From the first moment I spoke to Jean, I knew that she was who I wanted as our photographer. We live in Athens, GA and planned to get married in Las Vegas. We took a trip in February 2019 and we found and booked Jean! We met with her that weekend for our Engagement Shoot on the strip and were so impressed by her talent and professionalism. Jean continued to keep in contact in the months between February and September when it was time for our wedding. Jean was nothing short of intuitive, professional, kind and talented. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable on your wedding day and getting the right shots! I would say one of the most important things on your wedding day is your photographer and you couldn’t go wrong by hiring Jean! These photos will last us a lifetime and we can’t wait to go back to Vegas for anniversaries and hire Jean for future photo needs. -

Jean is beyond wonderful! She is truly passionate with what she does, when I was planing my wedding my photographer canceled on me 6 weeks before the wedding, I was in a panic I researched so many photographers, but with the amount I had saved for my photographer I didn’t have enough to hirer another, I found Jean on WeddingWire, going through her checklist she was very reasonably priced however even with her reasonable prices I was still short but I reached out to speak with her. Jean called me with in 48 hours of messaging her which let’s be honest that’s super quick . She and got to know me she let me know about herself as well she had asked me what had happened with my last photographer I had let her know she had said she was more than happy to help me out! She worked with me! Not to mention at the wedding she was early! For the price she charged me I received so much more than just photos! It was stress free and reassuring, she was so patient when we were transitioning from our ceremony to reception. You couldn’t find a more down to earth person to shoot your wedding her attention to detail, attentiveness, she is very comforting throughout the whole wedding , I felt like she was family, she went over her list of requests I had asked for in my photos she would always get in touch to coordinate with me if we ran into a problem where we wouldn’t have time to do something. Specific she would offer suggestions so I was still able to get what I wanted. Looking at her after product I relive the most happiest day of my life! Her contract is easy to read and understand , if you have questions she respond very quick considering her hectic schedule. I would recommend Jean to anyone who wants perfection
I receive so many complements from friends family and strangers on my media pages, my photos were so good that a good friend of mine wants to now go to verges and get married , and hirer Jean for her photos. -

I wanted my daughter to remember her wedding day and I felt having photographs were the best way. She was having her wedding in Las Vegas and neither of us were from Vegas. I did a mega search for a photographer and after spending much time I found Jean Phillips. This was the best decision we made for my daughter's wedding. She was very organized, professional and a very kind and easy going personality. My daughters pictures were excellent and many guests at the wedding commented about how she was everywhere taking photos. She really captured the whole day!! I wished she lived in our neighborhood
because I have one more child to get married. 10+ stars for Jean's service, you will be so happy with her service.

The best Photographer in Vegas
Hiring Jean for our Vegas wedding was the best decision we made while planning. She made us feel comfortable all day and her photos really blew us away! We couldn't have asked for a better way to capture our special day. We shopped around and get rates were very affordable and the photos came out wayyyyy better than I could have ever expected. With her experience, she knew the exact locations to get the best pictures! If you are getting married in Vegas, you NEED to hire Jean for photography. -

Wonderful Experience
A colleague and I had business photos taken together and Jean was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She was professional and very easy to work with. She went above and beyond even, walking to the nearest location she could to get me a bottle of water when I was feeling very ill during the shoot. Jean did not count her pictures but instead was an active participant capturing "true" sentimental moments. I was impressed by her willingness to scramble rocks for our perfect bride and groom photo while holding her professional photography equipment!. She was professional, organized, definitely experienced, and she captured the hearts of my family and friends. My family were raving about her after the wedding! If you are looking for an individualized/professional/creative/skilled photographer then Jean is the woman for you!

I actually had a really hard time finding a photographer that fit both our budget and our wants until I found Jean. She met with us right away to start discussing everything we dreamed of in what we wanted for photos. She met with us again at the venue when it got closer to our date and went over our timeline with us. She sent plenty of emails to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted and at the wedding she guided us exactly where we needed to be which was great as there was so much going on so our minds were all over the place. She was very professional and so kind! I had so many complements on how awesome from my guests at the wedding. The photos came out stunning! I couldn't have found a better photographer to capture our wedding memories!
