  Jon and his assistant Sarah were absolutely amazing! We hired Jon to shoot our wedding and couldn't be happier with our decision. Throughout the process Jon was responsive, kind, and a pleasure to work with. He showed up early the day of the wedding and got the formal shots done in a very quick, efficient manor. He was so friendly and easy going, and was unobtrusive throughout the event. The photo booth he set up was amazing and everyone had a great time in it. We would absolutely recommend Jon for any occasion. We received a few sample images a few days after the wedding and the shots were absolutely amazing; it was great to have those to start our honeymoon together. We can't wait to receive the full yield!

  We met with several photographers and instantly clicked with JC Lemon. He had our list of questions answered before we even asked them! He definitely knows what he's doing and you can tell that he loves what he does. And he has so much talent! I love how unique his wedding photos are in comparison to many of the others we looked at. He's also very quick in responding in the days leading up to the wedding, calm and professional on the day of, and he and his assistant impressed everyone young and old! Whether he did our wedding photos or not I'd be a true fan. Definitely check him out! And consider adding a photo "booth". It was a great addition to our special day!

  Jon was everything we had hoped for and more. Have just received all our pictures and they are fabulous!

  We've just had our photos back 4 weeks after our New York City elopement and we couldn't be happier. From the first contact we had with Jon to getting our photos yesterday he has been absolutely amazing. Eloping is quite nerve-wracking but Jon was happy to answer all of our questions in the build-up to our trip. From the minute we met with Jon outside City Hall it felt like we could just relax as he took us through the process. We've never had a photoshoot before and we're pretty uncomfortable with the attention, but Jon just made us laugh and let us be ourselves. The 4-week wait has felt like a lifetime but it's completely worth it. Every picture is amazing, and they've completely captured how we felt on the day. We can't thank Jon enough, and we would recommend him to absolutely anyone who's thinking of eloping.

  Best Vendor Decision We Made!

  This review is woefully overdue, considering that JC Lemon Photography was truly the best choice we made of all vendors for our wedding. We've never taken professional photos before and didn't take engagement photos, so we were a bit nervous how we'd feel taking formal photos on our big day. Jon felt more like a wedding guest than a photographer and he made us, and our entire bridal party and family, feel completely comfortable. Jon and his team were never invasive or pushy--and being that we've personally been bridesmaids/groomsmen many times over, we know how incredibly rare this is in a wedding photog. Our photos came our gorgeous--both our posed portraits and the awesome candid shots that were captured.
  
  We were also grateful to Jon's communication and organization leading up to the wedding day--as those getting married will understand, planning a wedding is a huge feat and there are so many moving pieces and details to consider. I consider myself an extremely organized person, but Jon kept us on track for major decisions we needed to make and helped us set a schedule the day of, which was invaluable. We spoke to him many times throughout the process so that by the time our wedding day came, he felt like a friend and we knew we could rely on him.
  
  Thank you again Jon and Jared for making the memories of our big day exactly what we could have hoped for and so special!! Everyone should seriously hire JC Lemon.

  What can we say about Jon other than he is great! It was nice to hang out with another Texan! Not only is he a fantastic photographer, he puts you at ease for every shot.   Having Jon as our wedding photographer was a dream! He made us feel so at ease and cracked some great jokes leading to some amazing candid shots that encapsulated what a fun day we had.

Not only is he professional and extremely talented at what he does, he is a complete GEM of a human being and a joy to be around. We chose Jon because we wanted a more editorial vibe, nothing too cheesy or cliche and he did NOT disappoint. We recently got our photos back during a special reveal party he planned for us filled with champagne and donuts and it was just perfect. He is so incredibly thoughtful and thinks of EVERYTHING!! Whether you have a specific idea of what you have in mind or are completely lost, through a series of questionnaires and emails, he will get down to the bottom of every detail and put you at ease. There are just not enough words to describe how lucky we were to find Jon. He really has a wonderful eye and takes beautiful photographs. If you are looking for someone that truly loves what they do and takes pride in in their work, stop searching! This will be the best decision you make for your wedding, I promise.   Beautiful photos (and a fun shoot!)

  We hired Jon to photograph our wedding in May which we ended up having to cancel due to the pandemic. We still wanted beautiful photos to celebrate our marriage and Jon was amazingly flexible about changing the plan. We did a photo shoot with him in October around Brooklyn Heights and Brooklyn Bridge Park and could not be happier with the results! All of our friends and family keep saying how "us" the pictures are. The details of each photo are beautiful - from great angles to perfect lighting, Jon knew exactly where to pose us and was super fun and friendly to be with. Highly recommend!

  Central Park Micro wedding

  JC photography is 10/10! Jon is a true professional and creates the most magical photos. He perfectly captured our Central Park elopement and was invaluable on our special day.   We got married at City Hall in New York in November of 2014. Jon's photos speak for themselves so it seems unnecessary to spend much time talking about how beautiful they are but really almost every single one was amazing. Almost more importantly, Jon was such a pleasure to have around. His presence was so easy, he got along with everyone, he was sweet and had a sense of humour, was able to accommodate everybody's requests and did so without causing any stress at all. Very simply: I would absolutely recommend Jon as a photographer for your wedding or any celebration big or small.

  Fantastic wedding photographer!

  It was an absolute pleasure to have Jon as our photographer at our wedding in May. He was incredibly supportive and thoughtful throughout the process. He did an engagement photoshoot with us in our favorite neighborhoods of Brooklyn. He helped us think through logistics for the big day to make sure we got all our favorite moments (and people!) captured. He asked for our guidance and perspective so that the photos and memories he captured were exactly what we wanted from the day of. He was also communicative and thoughtful throughout the process - sending us tips & tricks and prep emails to get us pumped up.
  
  Most importantly, the photos he took were beautiful. They captured the day in exquisite detail with shots that we will cherish for many years to come. We have already filled our apartment with his photos and are looking forward to his stunning photobook that will be coming soon.

  I could not have imagined having a better photographer for my wedding day! Not only was the final product AMAZING, Jon was such a pleasure to work with from the moment we booked our date with him to the delivery of our wedding photos and photo book. Jon truly has an eye for capturing each special moment throughout such an exciting day. Not only is Jon's work product fantastic, he is such fun to be around and he made the entire process exciting.   Planning a wedding is stressful enough with so many different moving parts. Our photos was one thing we rested easy about because of Jon’s utmost professionalism and excellent communication. From start to finish, Jon was crystal clear about what to expect and when all the flurry of activities were happening all at once the day of, Jon was always at the right place at the right time, capturing all the moments. My wedding day felt like a happy ending to a fairytale and Jon was definitely one of the angels that made it happen! I would recommend Jon to anyone that wants a down to earth and awesome photographer!!
