We had a a unique playlist spanning several decades of music and unorthodox requests as well. Not only was Kevin able to deliver, but he suggested fading in and out at certain moments so the selected music had the best impact. I have also been to weddings with DJ’s who did not MC - Kevin was spectacular communicating with our guest over the mic throughout the evening ensuring things ran on time and did not let the pace falter. HUGE difference! -

We chose JC Entertainment Productions as our wedding DJ and Jason did an amazing job. We had some custom song versions with specific timing that we wanted for our ceremony, and he worked with us to make sure it was perfect. Even though we had a small wedding, he was able to get people dancing during our reception. We would definitely recommend choosing JC Entertainment Productions! -

Jason and family are AMAZING. They are incredibly professional and accommodating. I felt like I was in the best hands with them. I could not have asked for a better team to be there on my wedding day! They made everything smooth, and on top of that, they are wonderful people who are really fun to work with. I recommend them whole-heartedly!! -

Jason and Candice were lovely and supportive through the whole wedding planning process, they communicated often and clearly, and they did exactly what we asked them to do. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning an event in the Wenatchee area.
General tips for giving instructions to a DJ:
1. Be sure to be very clear and specific about what you want - for example, do you want abrupt transitions or slow fading between most songs? Do you want the opposite kind of transition between specific songs?
2. Specify which version of a song you want - you've got a specific voice and melody in your head, so make sure you aren't surprised on the day!
3. Have a way to communicate with your DJ if things get behind and you need to wait on a specific song moment. They'll notice sometimes, but other times, you have to tell them.
4. Make sure that they are capable of changing with the times and that they have a general playlist for guest requests. And don't forget to fill in that Do Not Play list (nor should you ignore it assuming your guests will all have great taste!)
If your DJ seems dismissive of any of these details, beware! (Jason and Candice were great about all of these things; I have no complaints.)
