Janelle was a gift from the heavens!! She was a great resource for everything. She was super responsive via text and email and was there for every question I had. She was our day of coordinator but so much more. I couldn’t have imagined a better person to keep my day running smoothly. I can’t recommend her enough! -

Janelle has a fine eye for the smallest of details allowing our dream wedding to come true.
I had the pleasure of having Janelle for the Day-Of coordination on my wedding day. She was very professional, focused, detail oriented, and was extremely patient with us while developing our wedding day schedule. Her attention to detail allowed all of our countless hours of wedding planning to be executed flawlessly, from our ceremony, to our formal and creative portraits, cocktail hour, and all of our reception festivities. She was there with us making sure everything was ready to go.
To us, she’s not just another vendor, but a friend, because she really spent a lot time getting to know us and understanding how we had envisioned our special day. Thanks Janelle, our day wouldn’t have been the same without you! -

Amazing, exactly what we needed!
We hired Janelle as a day of coordinator but she went above and beyond “day of”. 6 months out she visited the site with us since it had never been used for a venue, and spoke with me about every other month until the month before where we connected weekly. For the rehearsal she was very prompt and on time, and helped any way she could. And day of she was right there, doing exactly what we needed of her. She kept us all on time from start to finish and adjusted things as needed, like when I forgot something she made it all work out! Very reasonable with pricing, felt she went above and beyond her call of duty. I would recommended her to anyone, especially if you need someone easy to work with when you’re planning a wedding on your own and need someone to bounce ideas off of and have someone execute all you’ve planned! -

I hired Janelle less than 5 days before.mh wedding to be a day-of coordinator. It was the best decision because we really couldn't do it all. She did amazing! That was especially impressive because there were unexpected details and the venue didn't have the equipment I thought it was going to have. But she made it work and my decorations looked even better than I had imagined. She has a very calm and reassuring presence and is very organized. My family had good feedback about her as well. -

Through the turmoil of canceling our large wedding to replanning our intimate backyard reception, Janelle was there for it all. I didn’t realize how much of a help she’d be until the day of, but she absolutely killed it! She took it upon herself to set up the venue while I got my hair and makeup done, organized all of the chaos between vendors, and was so fun and friendly throughout the process. She went on a Target run for last minute things I missed as well, and did so with a smile on her face. She is so wonderful! I would recommend her to any bride and plan to refer her to all my friends and family. -

I honestly cannot convey just how incredible it was working with Janelle without completely gushing. From the moment we first spoke on the phone, I could tell that she was going to be more of a friend than “just” a planner, and immediately knew I could consider no other planner. That said, she is highly professional, responsive, and experienced and she clearly takes her role very seriously. She is simply delightful, enthusiastic, helpful beyond measure, and dedicated to ensuring your vision is brought to life in every way. We went through the trenches together with our first venue not working out, and she was right by our sides in securing a new venue; helping us through multiple reschedulings due to the pandemic; and overseeing a smooth ceremony and shockingly efficient set-up for our reception, which were held on two separate days. She has such a soothing way about her, and a wonderful sense of humor that made all the tribulations feel manageable somehow. In the end, we had a perfect wedding that was exactly what we were hoping to have! The value for her services cannot be beaten, and my husband and I recommend her wholly!!! -

Janelle was an absolute life saver. Not only did she have great ideas, but she was quick to respond, knew how to talk to vendors, was always available when we needed her. She brought peace of mind during a notoriously chaotic time and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We couldn’t have gotten through the day in one piece (or with any remaining sanity) without her by our side. -

Best Choice We Made!
Hiring Janelle for our vow renewal was the best choice we made outside of deciding to host the event! She organized things I didn't even know to think about, she handled vendors seamlessly, and every time I would say, "do you think we could have..." she would find a way to make it happen for me. Our aesthetic was unconventional and she fell completely in love with it in a way that made me even more excited for our event. I looked forward to speaking with her every time we had a catch-up call. Really, she's a new close friend! Definitely hire her! -

I had a stress-free day, trusting Janelle to decorate and help organize the wedding an vendors. My only regret was not getting the rest of my cake. -

It pains me to write this review, but my husband and I believe in transparency. The excellent reviews that others provided were what encouraged us to hire her, but overall we were extremely let down by her performance as a partial planner.
I will first start with the positive. Her suggestions for vendors (specifically florist, chair/table rentals, and photographer) were excellent. And her calm demeanor and positive attitude were always appreciated.
However, these positives were weighed down heavily by several weaknesses.
- Timeliness and responsiveness: until the last few weeks leading up to the wedding, we found that she was slow to respond to questions or requests for feedback. This caused us to have to take responsibility of things that she outlined in the contract (e.g., timeline, layout, designs) as a service she would provide. And this only caused us more worry and stress.
- Lack of follow through: Throughout most of our experience a pattern developed where she would promise to take care of something immediately or the next day but would not get to it for a couple weeks. On many accounts we did not ask for a rush, but the long delay caused us concern because we were on a fairly tight timeline. In some cases, to keep things moving, we decided to do many items ourselves (which as noted above were actually part of her contract) and in other instances after following up with her we neither received a response nor the necessary items were completed. We felt that in many instances, and in the overall contract, she tended to over-promise and under-produce.
- Lack of preparation and attention-to-detail: Throughout the process it was clear to us that she frequently was unprepared and did not review some of the plans that we made. We constantly had to remind her about details that were already shared with us, which indicated that she was either not taking notes or totally not reviewing the information shared. She even demonstrated this lack of preparedness at the rehearsal, by asking us what the order of the procession was when we shared a detailed list of what it would be! Her demonstrated lack of preparedness this late in the game, had us concerned that balls would be dropped on the day of the wedding. Several members of our wedding party picked up on this and expressed their own concerns about her lack of preparation on the wedding day, with some commenting that she appeared to be absent and didn't appear to be experienced...
When we addressed concerns about specific things with her prior to the wedding, she promised improvements in performance that were never shown and demonstrated. Instead of reducing any stresses we had during the wedding planning process, her poor performance only heightened them. It was clear through her actions that our wedding was not our priority. Our investment in her services were not well spent and if we were to do it over again, we would not have hired her. We do not recommend her at all.
