Fantastic Hair and Makeup- Highly Recommended

Jamie was responsive, understanding, and accommodative which is sadly challenging to find these days. I hired her for hand and makeup during my headshots with Ron Fallica- who I also heavily recommend. Jamie was fast to respond and understood my request to not have big dark eyebrows as other makeup artists seem to lean toward on me. Jamie was incredibly pleasant and great to talk to during the shoot. My hair was exactly as envisioned and she helped me with corrections during the entire time. Jamie made sure my makeup and hair were how I wanted it for every photo. I couldn’t be more pleased with her skills and attention. Thanks a bunch Jamie!

Fantastic experience with Jamie!

Jamie was incredible and we were so lucky to have booked her for my wedding on 7/27/24! Both her and her assistant were so sweet and professional. I loved chatting with her during my trial and was so impressed with her work. On the day of my wedding, I added a diamond hair piece and stand-alone pearl pins which she effortlessly incorporated into my look. Despite the humidity in Wilmington in July, my hair held up just fine and looked so beautiful all night! We had eight bridesmaids, my mother-in-law and mom utilize Jamie’s expertise and everyone was so pleased with their individual styles. I would highly recommend Jamie and her team to anyone for their wedding or special event, she is fabulous!

Highly Recommend!!

Jamie did such a great job! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup all night! I am a very "natural" gal when it comes to makeup and she it it out of the park! We didn't have a wedding party so the moms and myself got makeup & hair. I was very impressed that all our looks lasted the whole night!

Jamie was so great to work with!! Since I was from out of state, last minute I reached out and asked if we could schedule a trial the day before the wedding and she worked with me to schedule something! She did such a beautiful job on my makeup and hair. She also did my bridesmaids hair/makeup and my mother and grandmother. They all looked so beautiful. I could not have asked for a better artist! She was patient with all of us for a long morning getting ready. Thank you for making my wedding day hair/makeup so perfect!

Working with Jamie was such a pleasure! She is the sweetest and made my hair look beautiful for my wedding day. She listens to everything you say in how you want you hair, and makes it beautiful. Best Ever!

It was such a pleasure to work with Jamie for my wedding. From the hair trial to the day of the wedding Jamie was so great to work with. My bridesmaids and the moms absolutely loved Jamie as well as her work. Many of my bridesmaids commented that their hair had never looked as good for any of the other weddings they'd been a part of. I cannot say enough absolutely amazing things about Jamie! Her work is not only flawless, but she is the sweetest and so enjoyable to talk with throughout. Jamie did both hair and makeup for my MOH and I on my wedding day. She was super flexible with my trial date/time since I was coming to Wilmington from out of town and kept great communication with me leading up to my wedding day. Jamie listened to my vision for my hair and makeup, and made sure to include any details I said I wanted. She also had no problem tweaking things until they were perfect and it was obvious she takes pride in her work, which was put me so at ease! Thank you, Jamie, for making me feel like a princess!

I had such a wonderful experience with Jamie. She did my hair for my wedding as well as all of my bridesmaids and my mother. She was so easy to work with and super flexible. I could not imagine using anyone else for the day of my wedding! I highly recommend her!

Jamie did all the girls hair including mine for my wedding in June 2017. She did a great job and everyone of my bridesmaids LOVED there hair. Jamie is so sweet, she showed up right on time, set up her little corner and worked her magic. Jamie also did my hair for my sister-in-laws wedding in June 2014 which is how I knew about her. Jamie was a dream to work with!!! Her and her team did such an amazing job on our wedding day. She was so easy to work with leading up to the day with payments, schedules and flexibility. I think I changed my mind at least three times on how I wanted to look and she was supportive and patient each time! The day of: she kept everyone on schedule and was even flexible when one of my girls decided last minute to get her makeup done (fit her in with no problem at all and didn't stress). She made me feel absolutely beautiful and listened to everything I wanted hair and makeup wise. I told her I just wanted an enhanced natural look, but that I love eye liner and mascara; she took that direction, ran with it, and it turned out PERFECT! I told her I wanted a soft and loose romantic look for my hair (I hate how I look with my hair up or tight); she did exactly what I wanted without me having an idea to show her. She is so sweet and talented; you will NOT regret using her!

I am so happy I hired Jamie for my wedding day! Jamie did my hair and make-up for my wedding day and she perfectly created my vision, even if I didn't even know what that was. I was able to communicate to her styles and looks that I liked and she created magic! Jamie also did hair and make-up for my entire bridal party and my mom. Everyone was impressed with how sweet and easy going Jamie, and her assistant, were. They were able to work with everyone's ideas and did it with a smile. I loved working with Jamie, there is no doubt she loves what she does!

I feel so lucky to have had Jamie for my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids hair and makeup on my wedding day! I got so many compliments and both my hair and makeup held through the entire night! Jamie is so sweet. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted as far as my makeup and I'm so glad I just let her do whatever she thought would look good! Jamie Warzel was more than amazing! I could not ask for anything more. My hair was perfect and stayed the entire day. My hair is curly and it is difficult to maintain sometimes. My hair was perfect even through wind and humidity. My makeup also stayed on the whole day! Jamie is fantastic!

Jamie is awesome! I used her for my hair + makeup for my wedding and wedding party. My finished look was exactly what I was hoping for. Jamie was absolutely amazing! During my trial, we tested out a number of lip colors and different braids for my hair. She was flexible and friendly. On my wedding day, she did an amazing job doing hair and make up not only for myself, but for my bridesmaids and my mom/mother in law. Everyone raved about how beautiful they looked. I was referred to Jamie from my friend whom had amazing hair on her wedding day. Jamie did not disappoint! She mastered through not only doing mine (the bride) but my sister, my mother and my mother in laws hair. She was very accommodating with anything we threw her way, such as my mom bringing hair clip ins which she did not mention she was bringing, and me changing my hairstyle day of the wedding from what we practiced at the trial. Jamie was very kind, calm, punctual and professional. She is very talented and does amazing hair, I would highly recommend Jamie!

Jamie and her staff are very professional. They showed up at 645am to set up and were ready to go at 7am. They made getting ready at 7 am for my wedding so enjoyable and fun! Jamie and 2 assistants were able to do hair for 12 girls in just 4 hours! I would recommend Jamie to everyone! Jamie thanks for making my wedding day even more special!

As soon as I emailed Jamie about doing hair and makeup for my wedding, she replied quickly and kindly. She even checked in two days before the wedding to assure me she would be there. I am giving these makeup artists 5 out of 5 because, We all expected them to have difficulty with the different skin types and skin tones of my bridal party. As an African american woman with a diverse bridal party of brown shades of beauty . They did an impeccable job ! Jamie did an amazing job on hair for me, 3 of my bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law this past weekend at my wedding! Originally I had booked Jamie just to do my hair, but after doing a trial with her, and my bridesmaids seeing how awesome my hair looked, they all wanted to have Jamie do their hair as well. She did both my makeup and hair for our engagement shoot; my hair for my bridal portraits; and my hair for the wedding, along with all 8 of my bridesmaids and the MOB and MOG. Each time I worked with her she was able to execute my ideas flawlessly. She also did a great job on getting all 11 of us hair ready on the big day. Jamie was phenomenal!

Prior to the wedding, I was impressed with her responsiveness to email (note: my goal was to NOT blow up my vendors with communiques, but to keep any communication on-target and concise). My wedding budget was $6k, so I wasn't able to afford a preview - which made me nervous. To offset that budget decision, I sent her some photos of me so she could learn a bit about my hair, and shared my Pinterest board with her to give her a sense of the hair and makeup styles I was going for.

On my wedding day, she blew me out of the water. We started working at 4:15 am, and her energy was contagious. She was super responsive to my feedback on the makeup progression, and did a phenomenal job with my hair. She was sensitive to my level of chattiness --- holding back while I was waking up, but then engaging with me later on. She's got a great life story!

Jamie is a true professional, and I would recommend her 100 times over!

Jamie is talented, professional and a joy to work with. I got Jamie's name from a friend who said she was local to NC and did great work. Ordinarily, a bride would make an appointment to get her hair and make up done exactly how she wanted for the big day, but with my budget and short timeline, it wasn't practical. That didn't phase Jamie a bit! She was in constant contact via email about what I wanted, pictures, color palettes, etc. when the big day came, she was there ready to start promptly at 8am after traveling several hours to get to my venue. Jamie was super fun and easy to be around, as she spent almost the entire day with me and my bridesmaids. I didn't want to look really "made up" for my wedding, I wanted my features naturally accentuated and my skin flaws minimized -- Jamie nailed it! I felt radiant and beautiful! One of my bridesmaids loved her make up so much that she is hiring Jamie for her wedding this fall. I would recommend Jamie for any bride!

I had the pleasure of meeting Jamie and my best friends wedding and had hopes she would do my wedding! unfortunately, Jamie already was booked for the date of my wedding but, she went out of her way to find other contacts for me. First of all I am not the most decisive person ever. Jamie was able to help me dictate exactly what I wanted on my special day. I showed up with only a few Pinterest ideas and she helped me narrow down exactly the look I was going for. I also appreciated that my trial and day of were almost exactly alike!

She was very personable and easy to talk to. My bridesmaids and I had a great time getting ready with her, and I think they would all agree that she was terrific. Her rates are also very reasonable. Many of the large boutique style salons in town charge much more and I would say she closely rivals or surpasses their quality!

Jamie was not only a total delight to be around, she was incredible with the styles we wanted for the wedding, quick working, and fair priced! She was so sweet to everyone and made sure our individual needs were met. My trial run with her was fantastic and it only continued to get better as we met again on the big day! (She even did a quick last-minute curl on my mother-in law's hair who is 70 and VERY unused to being glamorous.) I would recommend her to anyone in the Wilmington area. She is also willing to travel! Jamie was the least stressful choice of my wedding! I work in a spa/salon out of town, and am extremely picky about my hair and makeup. She worked magic with my color (had to get a root touch up two days before my wedding!), style and makeup. She even used my foundation without complaint since I am so picky about what goes on my skin. In addition, she did a beautiful job on two of my friends (totally different hair, both bobs one ethnic hair) and mom (who wanted a heavy necklace placed in her updo). I recommend her to anyone that wants to look amazing, no matter the occasion. If I could have her live with me and do my hair and makeup everyday, I would!

Jamie did an amazing job on my hair for my wedding. We did a hair trial and she was so patient because I kept changing my mind. She has a wonderful personality! The day of my wedding she came to where I was getting ready and did my hair plus my bridesmaids. We all loved our hair and it stayed in place the whole day and night even in the humidity. Jamie is so great to work with. I've gone to several trials with her, and on the wedding day, we went a different direction with the style, all thanks to Tropical Storm Ana and I couldn't have been more pleased! The hair turned out absolutely beautiful and did not move one bit, even while dancing in 40 mph winds! At the same time, it looked soft and natural.

I was so ecstatic to have Jamie Warzel do hair and makeup on my wedding day. I had seen Jamie's work before, and when we were engaged, I knew that I wanted Jamie to provide these services on our big day if she was available!

Jamie did a trial run for me as well. When she handed me a mirror to see my makeup I had tears in my eyes. She had absolutely nailed my vision, and given me exactly what I had in my head, but I had felt that I was unable to explain. I was so glad to know in advance how my hair and makeup would look.

On the day of the wedding Jamie did my and my mother's hair and makeup, and hair for seven of my bridesmaids. Everyone's hair was different, and each bridesmaid absolutely loved the style she did for them. Jamie was able to create each of their different ideas, and I couldn't have been happier with how each of them looked.

Not only is Jamie amazingly talented, but she has a great level of professionalism. She was super responsive and flexible through all my emails and any changes in timing I had to make. Jamie Warzel was absolutely fabulous and will be my very first recommendation for hair & make-up for years to come!! She was flexible, creative and professional; family and friends are still talking about how beautiful my bridesmaids' hair was! Jamie was great! I did a trial run as well as the wedding day for both hair and make up with her. I didn't know exactly what I wanted so she had only rough guidelines to go by and some "inspiration" pictures I brought; she nailed it. She was professional yet not stiff. I felt extremely comfortable with her; like she was one of my girlfriends. On your wedding day you have to put your trust in others to help you pull off the dream, and one of the most important things, if not THE most important is how the bride looks. You already know the dress, the shoes, and the jewelry look fabulous but you need someone to complete the bride with hair and make up to match...trust Jamie. Jamie is, without a doubt, the BEST hair stylist and makeup artist! I had a hair trial and makeup trial with her a couple months before our wedding on December 20, 2014, and I felt more confident and beautiful each time I left than I ever have in my life- seriously. I have extremely sensitive skin and am super picky about my makeup. I had 2 makeup trials with different artists before meeting Jamie, and I was not happy with the results from the other artists. I concluded -before meeting Jamie- that I would just do my own makeup for our wedding. However, I get so frazzled when I am nervous and really wanted someone to help me with my makeup. I am so grateful that I found her! She was very patient with me and made me feel completely comfortable. I was also more satisfied with my hair style than I have ever been from any other formal occasion styling in the past. She used clip in wavy hair extensions for my hairstyle (which I had never used before), and they looked seamless and natural. I have very thin hair that does not hold curl at all normally. Somehow, she made my style last throughout the whole night. Jamie- I cannot thank you enough for helping me to feel beautiful on our wedding day! She also styled one of my bridesmaid's hair who looked gorgeous at our wedding. We had so much fun with Jamie! Jamie and her assistant were absolutely amazing. They did the hair/up-dos for 3 mothers, 1 grandmother, 6 bridesmaids, and myself with time to spare. Everyone looked gorgeous and was so happy with their looks, which stayed beautiful for the entire night during our outdoor ceremony and reception.

I would highly recommend Jamie's hair and make up services to anyone I know....she is absolutely amazing. She came to our beach house prior to my wedding to do my hair and make up and I was thrilled with the results but more importantly I adored her she is sweet as pie and you feel like you have known her for years, in my opinion this is just as important especially on your weeding day!!
Wedding day;
Jamie arrived on time even a little early!
She did all my families hair and make up not an easy task with our large family!!:)
Mom, mother in law, 3 sisters, 1 sister in law, 3 teenage daughters, 1 niece, two friends and of course me(the bride)
She was willing to stay as long as needed in case I wanted any touch ups before my big entry:) my advice consider yourself one of the lucky ones if you can book Jamie for your big event whatever it may be!!

Jaime was wonderful! My spouse and I looked amazing for our wedding! I just offered one or two photographs and she nailed the look I wanted. The price was more than reasonable as well. Jaime was a great addition to our wedding experience. Highly recommend!

Jamie did my hair for my rehearsal dinner and wedding as well as makeup for my bridesmaids and me on my big day. She was so great and took the time to listen to what I wanted and make sure she got it the way we liked! Jamie Warzel was amazing to have at my wedding. She showed up at our hotel room right on time and got straight to work and did my hair and makeup and my sister's hair and makeup. Both of us looked flawless all day and night! I never had to touch up or worry about getting makeup on my dress or people and our hair never went out of place. Jamie Warzel is up to date on a lot of the new trends and I highly recommend her to do your hair and makeup for any event!

I was an out of state bride so I was very nervous because I did not know anyone in Wilmington and had no recommendations to go off of....until I met a makeup artist who highly recommended Jaime to do my hair. I met Jaime just a few days before my wedding to do a trial run and she was great! Very accommodating and made me feel very welcomed! She listened to exactly what I wanted (I like BIG hair lol). On the big day it was going to storm so to try and avoid the storm we rushed to move the start time up an hour and when I called Jaime she was able to meet at my hotel earlier to work around the last minute change - I loved Jamie's personality and she was an amazing hair stylist - I felt like I knew her for years and she knew exactly what I wanted and I felt absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day!

Jamie did my hair for my August wedding and was FANTASTIC! A couple of my bridesmaids were planning to do their own hair, until they saw her work and then they asked her to do theirs as well. It was so hot outside, and all of our hair stayed put for the entire evening. She was so friendly and made our off the wall descriptions of what we wanted come to life in perfect form! She is very sweet, and easy to talk to....we were all very happy with her and her beautiful work!

Jamie did my hair and makeup for my sisters wedding this past June, I was her maid-of-honor so it was a pretty important day for me. I told Jamie a basic idea of what I wanted, some contouring and basic makeup and "old hollywood" glamour for hair.

I was really impressed with Jamie's makeup kit products, her knowledge of all of the products and had fun talking with her about some of my own favorite items. Jamie was also open to using some products that I brought with me that I really like which was super nice too. With little direction from me, Jamie gave me the perfect wedding day makeup that lasted all night long. I am now a firm believer in the use of false eyelashes for special occasions!

My hair turned out beautifully, it had the exact old hollywood charm that I was hoping for. My hair had big curls, and was pushed back on one side with a nice clip that I had brought with me. Not only did it look great on the big day, but the look held until the next day! I woke up with almost perfect looking hair the next morning. I got so many compliments and people even commented on my "old hollywood" look without me telling them that was what I was going for.

Jamie is very talented, patient, and very easy/fun to talk to. I would highly recommend Jamie for any of your hair and makeup needs!

Jamie did an absolutely amazing job with me and my family's hair and make-up for my wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the results. Jamie listened to what we wanted and delivered. Jamie and her crew were professional yet friendly! My bridal party loved their hair and I was very happy with mine as well. She responded to my emails and phone calls promptly and was very accommodating when scheduling my hair trial since I was coming from out of town. Jamie did all of the girls' hair for my wedding day. I had seven bridesmaids and two flower girls. Jamie and her assistant did an AMAZING job! Jamie was fabulous! First, her demeanor and personality was so pleasant. More importantly, she did the best job. My hair was EXACTLY what I wanted. As time has passed, I've gotten my pictures/video and it looks amazing in both. Furthermore, all my bridesmaids hair looked perfect. Over the summer I was in three weddings in various places and each time it could not even compare with how great mine/my gfs hair turned out. I wish she could have done my hair for all the weddings!
