Beautiful, Simple, Lab-Diamond

My husband got me a lab-diamond per my request. They are WAY less expensive and have the same exact make-up as mined diamonds. My husband got to customize my engagement ring on their website and literally pick between tons of different diamonds (he got to zoom in and compare all sorts of specs, could see all the flaws, etc.).

This was a much better experience than going to jewelry stores and either getting insulted for requesting a lab-diamond or pressured into buying something overly priced and not as good looking.

I was a bit skeptical about buying from an online vendor. However, the service I received was timely and exceptional. When I ordered the ring size was in correct. After getting his right size I contacted the vendor through the chat feature on their website and within minutes I was notified the order had been updated with the right size. Classic ring

We ordered my husband the Cobalt chrome™ 6mm Comfort-Fit Satin-Finished Round Edge Design Ring during one of James Allen's sales and couldn't be more impressed with the design and durability of the ring. The ring we ordered ended up being a half size too large but they have a great re-size program that's 12 months long and we were able to send the ring back within that time period. The turnaround was so quick, 1.5 weeks, for the resized ring. We couldn't believe it!

As my fiance has never worn a ring before, we wanted to get him something that he didn't have to worry about scratches or damaging during everyday life. I am also happy to report they allow 1 year for resizing of rings which is really nice if you want to test a ring out in the summer to make sure your swollen finger will still fit the ring.

Overall, it was a super easy process and would recommend to anyone looking for a wedding band.

The most gorgeous ring

I absolutely love my engagement ring. It is so gorgeous and sparkly, I get compliments constantly. They were easy to work with and when my husband decided he wanted a different shape 3 weeks before he was set to propose, they got it to him just in time. I would definitely recommend James Allen. You get better quality for less money because they don't have the overhead a brick and mortar store does.

Love my engagement ring

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from James Allen, and I couldn't be happier. Apparently the first diamond he chose (because you can view pics of your diamond online) came in with a lot of yellow, so he called them in a panic because he needed to get another before the trip he proposed on. They were very nice and helpful and were able to accommodate the exchange and send the new ring in plenty of time. The craftsmanship of the band is beautiful, and the diamond cut is lovely. Highly recommended.

Quality that Sparkles

When my husband and I weren't even engaged yet, he had gotten flustered with the amount of preferences I gave him about my dream engagement ring and wedding band. We had gone ring shopping at malls (e.g., Jared and Kay Jewelers), and nothing was exciting, nor did the price warrant the quality of diamonds. Out of frustration, he searched online for a reputable vendor and found JamesAllen.com. He created/designed options and unsurprisingly showed them to me. Ha! He gave me a stunner that had me staring at the screen for a good minute, and figured out THE SET for me. His points of appreciation: the price of diamonds were reasonable to the quality of them, quick production and delivery, and the package came with a ring appraisal for insurance purposes. It should be obvious that I love the way my rings came out. I mean... it all just sparkles and grasps attention for being simple, yet elegant. Why? 'Cause of the quality.

I purchased my now fiancés wedding band off James Allen and couldn’t be more pleased. I went with the Platinum metal and got a nice diamond. When I received the ring, I got an individual assessment of the ring and was valued at quite a bit more than I paid.

Customer service is fantastic and is actually 24/7! I’ve emailed them at 2am and have had responses.

We’ve just ordered he matching wedding band - they were having a 25% off sale so we saved a decent amount of money.

Bottom line - feel safe and comfortable purchasing your ring here, great quality, beautiful ring, my wife to be absolutely loves it.

At first the thought of buying an engagement ring online was a bit unnerving, however, after going through the process, step-by-step, I found it to be very easy and all of my reservations were eased. I am very impressed by this being an online service. Their website is subperb! The process of selecting your ring is a Devine experience for being online. All so very impressive. It took a while to finally narrow it down to the final product. However, when I did receive the ring (earlier than expected), it was more beautiful than pictures. My finance absolutely LOVED. I have rec'd my engagement ring and my wedding ring from here. they are beautiful. My diamond in my engagement ring sparkles -- very pretty. I love my wedding band. Together, they look amazing. The only thing that I recommend is how it is delivered. The red box that my wedding ring came in broke almost immediately.

My fiancé saved a few thousand dollars by purchasing my rings from James Allen. As we were shopping for my engagement ring, we found similar ones but even a bit smaller for twice as much as he paid. My ring is very classy, simple and timeless. I had to get it resized and got my ring back in about a week, i was initially told it would take two weeks so I was pleasantly surprised it took less and everyone was very professional and polite.

After I ordered the ring I decided to change from direct deposit to using a card so I told someone in the chat box and gave them the order number and they changed it right on the spot in the chat box and had me type in my card info. Boom,done! Less than 5 minutes. Filling out this review and making sure all the goofy boxes are checked off was more difficult than ordering the ring from James Allen.

I was absolutely thrilled with the quality and the service provided by James Allen. To be honest, their website does not do enough justice to testify to the beauty of the rings and the quality of the diamonds that they offer. The ring looks so much more beautiful and perfect in person and my fiancee was absolutely thrilled with the ring. Next step is wedding rings and I will definitely go to James Allen to get them.

I was first attracted to online engagement ring buying because of the convienance and customization options. However, I was understandably concerned about making such a huge purchase online. After doing my research, and finding James Allen to be the most reputable, I made my purchase here.

I loved the 20x zoom on the diamonds. I also loved the customizable options for the diamonds, adjusting all of the GIA standards I was looking for. I picked a diamond that fit my price range, it looked beautiful, and I bought it.

While it was coming in the mail, I became fairly anxious. I really had no idea what the ring would actually look like, having never seen it in person. And, after seeing a couple of bad reviews, I was worried for a disaster.

The ring came and It was absolutely stunning. I would have never gotten a diamond of this quality from an actual store for this price.

My one bit of advice is to ask for photos to be sent of the diamond not zoomed in at all, in regular lighting. The sample photos are meant to be shinier and the shine does hide imperfection more than normal light.

I purchased an engagement ring from James Allen online. I chatted with customer service because I was buying a loose stone and a setting. It took a little bit of time because I had a stone picked out, but left it in my cart for a week before pulling the trigger. The agent helped me find a similar loose stone, and they also helped me place an order for the setting because it was not a typical standard size. James Allen was easy to work with and very accommodating. Would buy from James Allen again.

This was probably the easiest process of our whole wedding. We live in Australia and so we thought correspondence would be difficult and we would have to wait for days for a reply but we were so surprised and we got a response within a couple of hours. I was looking all over town for a nice diamond! Finally, I decided to go online. I started with Blue Nile but didn't like e reviews. A few of those people even mentioned James Allen so I Che key it out. I really liked how I could put all the different filters in and see the exact diamonds. I ordered one for my new engagement ring. The process was simple and timely. I was extremely pleased when I took it to my jeweler to set and they even said how beautiful it was. I would certainly recommend James Allen!

Look no further, if you are looking for quality, good value, affordable but nice jewelry, James Allen is the place. I got my wife's engagement ring and our weeding bands with them after shopping around the mall and other online places. Other places show you something already made, not custom. Charge you extra for the engraving and then you get a lower grade diamond for your money. James Allen shows you what you will get (love to see the diamonds at 40X), pick the diamond, the setting, the materials, and when you receive the rings, they come in a really nice packaging, and in the case of the diamond ring, they included a certificate from the gemological institute to backup their product and show you exactly what you got. The wedding bands were a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than the mall and they were thicker. I have no doubt I will continue to buy with James Allen my wife's jewelry and I recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

I love the fact that you can see the diamonds so clearly at the website and the value was competitive. The problem with other websites is they do not give you the wonderful views of the diamonds like James Allen, making a difficult decision much easier. Its actually much easier seeing flaws than through a jewelers loop. The customer service was terrific. I emailed a request that they rush my delivery by a few days so proposal plan could come together. I got an immediate reply saying they would try very hard to accommodate my request. Shortly after they changed the tracking delivery date and the ring arrived exactly when I requested and my fiancé loves it!

I can't remember another company that I communicated with as much as this one and still consistently felt like every little detail was just as important to them as it was for me. They helped me get one of the most important pieces of jewelry someone ever buys and I bought it online. They made me feel safe and confident that I had the support behind me to make a confident choice and they followed up to ensure everything happened as it should have. I can't thank them enough. Not only was their customer service amazing beyond belief, but their selection of rings, stones and HD images and video made it feel as secure a transaction as it could be. And just when I felt I needed more, I spoke to their experts about their opinions on my choices. I had customized some areas of the ring design and they communicated with me and the jeweler to make sure it was all possible. I also knew if any modifications or alterations would cost extra every step of the way.

To be short about it; they are a wonderful choice for ring shopping, stones shopping and a retailer online. Period.

The entire process with James Allen is convenient, flexible, and completed in a timely manner. The jewelry is extraordinary and the Customer Service team is just wonderful. They explain the processes, answer questions, provide service updates, etc. Shipping is within two business days and well packaged.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and part of that celebration was to upgrade my engagement ring, wedding band and eternity band. Originally I started visiting jewellery stores, but after researching on the internet I read many recommendations for purchasing online through James Allen. I was very nervous about the idea. I read review after review and promised that I would write a review myself if all went well. It did!!! I had a lot of fun searching through all the rings. It was so much better than being in a physical store where I didn't feel as relaxed to examine each piece of jewellery. How I wish I had done this the first time around. I loved being able to research for as long as I wanted in the comfort of my home. Although I couldn't see the ring on my own finger, I was able to see many photos on other peoples fingers, which really helped. Also the photos of the diamonds and ring settings themselves are wonderful as you can zoom in and see it in 3D. I also loved being able to chat with staff. I asked so many questions. They were extremely patient with me. They were quick with their responses and available at any time of day or night. Being able to take my time, meant I was able to get the best my money could buy. I won't buy rings any other way now. The ability to research and take my time is what a physical store cannot offer me. I also felt safe that if I ordered wrong then I could get a refund or exchange. Finally I ordered my rings and then loved that I was able to track the progress of my order. I was very impressed with how quickly I received my order to Australia. I ordered it late on the 01/31/2018, and received it the afternoon of 02/16/2018. It came beautifully presented, and the rings were exactly what I wanted and imagined. I cannot stop looking at them. So sparkly. In summary it was a great experience, and I'm thrilled with my new rings. Thank you to everyone at James Allen who made this possible for me.

The customer service I received from jamesallen.com was fantastic. They helped order the ring for me, and even when I ordered the wrong size, it was easy to send it back for a re-sizing. My fiancé loves the ring, and is very happy with my choice, which I was super happy about.
