In the fall of 2025, I reached out to James the week before I proposed to my girlfriend. I had an ambitious plan, and James agreed to hike over 3 miles to a tree in a remote alpine tundra, where he waited hidden in some small bushes. He was able to capture some stunning photos of our engagement, as well as contributing some very thoughtful suggestions for the photoshoot after the proposal. For example, he offered to hike up with a bottle of champagne and a thermos of tea, both of which were great ideas and really helped elevate the day. -

Stunning Sunrise Photos
James met with my wife and I at a beautiful location he had picked in the desert just outside of Las. Vegas. We wanted to take some photos for our anniversary. The photos turned out incredible, and James made us feel comfortable and smiling throughout the shoot. -

Amazing photographer!
On New Year’s Day, my boyfriend took me to my favorite tree in Joshua Tree National Park. As the sun began to set, he got down on one knee and proposed. It was truly magical.
He had secretly worked with James to plan every detail, and James was literally hiding behind a cactus to capture the moment without me noticing. Somehow, he stayed completely invisible while still getting the most intimate, beautiful shots.
The photos are emotional, gorgeous and full of genuine love. Looking at them instantly takes us back to that moment. We are beyond grateful to James for documenting such a special day so perfectly and couldn’t recommend him more highly. -

My favorite photos ever!!
My husband and I wanted to take photos in Las Vegas to celebrate our marriage, and James met us at sunrise just outside of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. He has such a calm, grounding presence that immediately put us at ease but he also made us laugh, which led to the most natural, candid moments. He captured truly breathtaking photos and beautiful moments between us that we’ll treasure forever. -

Amazing engagement photos!
My fiance and I took engagement photos with James. He had a plan for a great location with a few different spots for different vibes. He made us feel comfortable and his lighthearted humor made the experience fun. The photos turned out amazing and we will cherish them as we grow old together :) We definitely recommend James. James did such an amazing good. He was professional on time and the photos were absolutely stunning. His ability to capture each moment and create a realistic memory. He flew to Maine and stayed for the week to take all the before, during and after photos of the wedding party! He was funny and had everybody laughing!! Highly recommended! -
