Big Daddy was amazing!

Sean “Big Daddy” was absolutely incredible! He brought the BEST energy to our wedding—positive, fun, and so supportive the whole night. Not only did he sing a few songs himself (and completely wowed everyone with his voice!), but he also went above and beyond to make our night stress-free, joyful, and unforgettable. Guests are still talking about how amazing he was. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ—he truly felt like part of the family.

Danced the Night Away

We had so much fun dancing at our wedding, my guests are still talking about Big Daddy! Everyone was on the dance floor all night including me (the Bride). We worked with Jimmy and the planning process was very smooth. He assisted us in getting string music for our ceremony as well. Jimmy and Big Daddy knew exactly what songs to play to keep everyone dancing. It was a great mix of everything we requested with a few extra songs to keep everyone going.
I can not recommend them enough. Our experience was excellent, I wouldn't change a thing about our night.

Paul was our DJ and he was amazing. He put alllllll my songs on a hard drive and made sure music was available because where I got married had no WiFi!! Thank you for putting up with me Paul!! Will forever recommend you

Best dj ever!

We were lucky enough to be referred to James Daniel Entertainment by our florist (Springdale Florist, Darien, CT) and we met Paulie! Paulie was the BEST DJ for our wedding. He’s a pro! He was helpful along the way with guiding our musical choices without imposing his preferences. He talked us through each step of the ceremony and his timing was perfect through the wedding party procession, the bride walking in and the recession. Paulie was familiar with our fabulous venue (Pastime Athletic Club in East Norwalk, CT) so he knew exactly where to set up his equipment for both our outside ceremony and inside reception. He made our day so special and FUN! Everyone commented on how great our DJ was! Paulie and James Daniel Entertainment are HIGHLY recommended!

When planning my daughter's wedding, there was no doubt in our minds that we wanted Sean "Big Daddy" as our DJ! Sean is the most talented, "get the party going" loving person & DJ who also cares, really cares. From the very start, he kept my daughter calm with his professionalism, making sure all paperwork was available and completed, and knew just how to make everyone at the wedding relax and enjoy themselves. James Daniel provided the music for our wedding this past wedding. We were 100% satisfied with their work and would highly recommend them. So many of our guests continue to let us know how much fun they had and how great the DJ was. Jimmy was professional, easy to work with, fun, and had the best ideas! He took it upon himself to come up with some unique song playings and dances during the wedding as well. If you're looking for a DJ- James Daniel is your vendor! They will not disappoint. Hire Big Daddy for any event you have!

We hired Sean Big Daddy McKee as the DJ for our wedding in August and it was the absolute best decision!! He is not only amazing at his job and a fantastic singer, he is such and incredibly kind person that puts his heart and soul into his work. His site for listing our must play, should play and do NOT play songs was super easy to use and helped make sure whatever we REALLY wanted was played. He did an excellent job taking what we liked there and choosing the perfect mix of popular music, country and classic rock to keep the party going all night! He made the suggestion for us to go right into a party song after our entrance, getting the energy in the right place and having everyone up and on the dancefloor. Then we went into our first dance and from there kept the dancing going all night! He did a great job of MCing the night and completely blew our guests away with his incredible singing voice. People said to me after - we couldn't believe it was him singing it sounded just like the real song!! We loved him and highly recommend him for any upcoming event you need a DJ for!!!

Got the party going!

Sean Big Daddy is the best! Somehow he got guests out on the dance floor before the official dancing even began! You can have whatever songs you want ahead of time, including songs he must play and songs you don’t want him to not play, but he knows how to read the crowd so it isn’t worth getting too detailed. We had about half the guests in their late 20s and the other half in their late 50s yet he had them all in the dance floor together. And guests were blown away by his singing during dinner. Such a beautiful voice it took a minute to even realize he was singing. We also had him play tradition wedding songs during the ceremony and his timing was perfect.

Dj paul lacano is awesome!

I hired Paul Lacano with James Daniel Entertainment after he was recommended by our Caterer and Venue. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, was so knowledgeable, and the wedding was SO MUCH FUN. Sean, from James Daniels Entertainment, truly made our wedding! From the first dance to the last, he had everyone up and dancing and having the best time ever. Great and Thoughtful DJ

We hired Nico for our hybrid South Asian ceremony and he was so thoughtful, kind and took the time to understand everything. He made sure everyone had a good time and did a wonderful job! Big Daddy is the BEST!!!!

I would HIGHLY recommend James Daniel, Big Daddy (Sean) in particular. He was so attentive and the entire evening felt so personal. Every single guest can’t stop taking about the selection of songs that were played. Big Daddy got virtually every guest out on the dance floor and kept everyone entertained. When picking a dj for our wedding reception, we relied solely on word of mouth; we kept hearing about this guy Sean Big Daddy. After one phone call, we knew he was the one. Big Daddy is kind, fun, and ENTERTAINING! He had everyone dancing from the start and and made sure everyone was having a good time by keeping the dance floor packed. The Best!!!!

We LOVE Big Daddy!!! He is such a kind soul and just amazing to work with. He had everyone up dancing and rocked our reception. So many people came up to me at the wedding, "Big Daddy is AWESOME" and even at the morning after brunch everyone was still raving about how awesome he was. Could not recommend him more. The event portal on the company website made everything so easy to request songs and organize everything ahead of time. They also did the uplighting and photobooth and both were great. So happy Big Daddy was part of our special day - highly recommend!

Best DJ Experience EVER!!!

When we got engaged, we knew the two most important elements of our wedding (besides each other) was the food and the entertainment. I had seen Big Daddy (Sean) at other weddings, and I knew we had to have him! From start to finish, Big Daddy made us feel like we were the most important couple, and he was as excited as we were to celebrate our love. I had a lot of very specific requests for music selections as well as a long "Do Not Play" list. Big Daddy was more than accommodating, going as far as extending my music preferences and themes into more elements of the reception that I didn't think about. In a heartbeat I would book him again and again for any future events I may have. He literally got everyone on the dance floor, even guests who said they would never get up to dance. He made it so fun that many people left their tables completely to surround the dance floor to watch the party unfold. I don't have enough words to thank him. Your DJ is more than music, it is the party, the excitement, and the thread that ties every element together. Big Daddy makes it seamless, smooth, and filled with so much fun and laughter. Best DJ Ever

From the moment I got engaged, I already had in mind one vendor for our wedding - our DJ. After meeting with our reception venue, I had even more confidence that I had made the right decision when his name was at the top of the recommended vendors list. Sean "Big Daddy" had been the DJ at my older sister’s wedding and had gotten every guest out of their chairs and onto the dance floor. This was exactly what I envisioned for my own wedding and I knew that he was the guy to get that job done. Throughout the entire process, he was always available to talk to me if I had any questions. He also made sure before the big day to go through all the important information with me, which took a lot of stress off my shoulders. The day of the wedding, he did exactly what I had hoped for, he kept the dance floor packed! My guests still talk about how great he was, and how this was one of the best weddings they had ever attended. Thank you so much Big Daddy for making our day so enjoyable!

Best wedding ever!

We had Sean "Big Daddy" McKee as our DJ for our long-awaited postponed wedding reception this May, and we had the absolute best time ever! He is so responsive and easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and literally the most fun DJ ever. He got EVERYONE dancing on the dance floor, kept everyone and everything moving, and people are still telling me how much fun they had. He is so friendly and enthusiastic to work with (and was super flexible and helpful when we had to reschedule due to the pandemic), and we and all our guests had so so much fun! If I ever had occasion to, I would hire him for every party I could. I would beyond recommend working with Sean if you want to have the most fun party ever!

PS: the reviews that say he has the voice of an angel aren't lying, but I will let you be surprised with exactly what that means! (hint - you will love it)

Sean "big daddy" is the best dj ever

My husband and I got married on October 24, 2020 in Connecticut and we hired Sean McKee ("Big Daddy") in the fall of 2019 after reading a ton of awesome reviews about him online. Although I had connected with several DJ groups before deciding, my first phone call with Big Daddy sealed the deal. He was the most enthusiastic, outgoing guy and it was so clear that he just wanted our wedding day to be perfect for us. The process of hiring him was very easy and he offered a ton of different package options so we could do whatever we wanted.

As things took a challenging turn with the COVID-19 pandemic and we had to cancel our original plans, discuss postponing, then ultimately move forward with a modified wedding plan, Big Daddy was a rock for us. We heard horror stories from other couples about vendors giving them a hard time, but Big Daddy was the opposite. He never bugged us or pressured us to make decisions and whenever we needed to communicate with him, he called me immediately. He held our 2020 date for us and reserved a date in 2021 without question. When we called him with only 2.5 weeks' notice that we wanted to move forward with 2020, the first thing he said was "I'm there". He hopped on calls with us in those final days to sort out our ideal music, timeline, and introductions for the night and he made the process so simple when everything else felt impossibly complicated.

On our wedding day, Big Daddy was all set up long before we got to the venue and he had the party started right away. Our wedding guests were even on the dance floor during our cocktail hour! He also crushed it with our bridal party entrance and all the introductions. As we were eating dinner, he even sang a few songs! He has the most incredible voice and it just made everything that much more beautiful.

For the rest of the night, all of our guests were on the dance floor and nobody sat down. My family and friends are still talking about what an incredible party it was and how awesome Big Daddy was. He had clearly listened to our recommendations and tastes in music while also mixing in his own experience and skills. Everything about the night was PERFECT and he was certainly a large contributor to it.

I can't say enough great things about Big Daddy, but I highly recommend booking him if you can! I know I'll certainly use him again for all future parties and celebrations.

Big Daddy, if you read this, thanks for being a positive light in a really tough year. You are truly the best!!!

Sean (big daddy) the ultimate dj

Sean (Big Daddy) from James Daniel Entertainment was the ultimate DJ. He was responsive, friendly, supportive and helped bring our wedding together. Sean went above and beyond our expectations by not only playing our favorite songs, but also singing various Billy Joel songs live. His voice is astounding, and the same can be said for his personality and professionalism. Sean offered us his help with any other areas of our wedding planning, and it made the process much smoother and less stressful knowing we had his assistance. Amazing DJ!

Knocked It Out of the Park

Jimmy was awesome! We had so much fun at our wedding and the fact that everyone was up dancing all night really knocked it out of the park for us. We had so many people say that they had never been to a wedding where the entire dance floor was full the majority of the evening. Jimmy really was amazing to work with during the event. We even had some unplanned karaoke because my new husband insisted on having the microphone. :) Duke gives his regards. Outstanding DJ - Big Daddy was the best!

Big Daddy Sean McKee was a phenomenal DJ! He got everyone up on the dance floor throughout the reception and really got the party going right from the beginning. Our guests had so much fun and they all keep telling us how great our dj was. He even sang a few of the songs and I was floored with how good he was! All of our song requests were played, I didn't hear a single song on the
do not play list", and he had a great selection of songs to play throughout the night. We had asked for the Tarantella to be played (an Italian tradition) and he made it happen! Do not look for any other DJ for your wedding, Big Daddy was the best!

Sean Big Daddy

The best choice Kelly and I made for our wedding was hiring the first person we met with about our big day: Big Daddy. From day one, he got know us personally and genuinely cared for us throughout the process as if we were part of his family. I can't recommend him enough for future bride and grooms. As good as he was in the 18 months leading up to our big event, he was even better on our big night. We heard from every person who attended how good our DJ was and how innovative it was that he started with dancing from the very top of the reception. The party kept going from the very first dance. It was a total blast! Not a lot of "slow" moments when Big Daddy is in the room. We danced the night away. Our wedding was our dream come true. It was brought to reality thanks to Big Daddy. Best in the business.

Sean Big Daddy

I had heard about Sean Big Daddy from some friends and I have to say I was astounded with his service. First off, he was incredibly polite and excited to be a part of our big day from the minute I contacted him. From there every correspondence and all the planning went super smooth. He even met with me to get a copy of the song I wrote for "the first dance".
Now flash to the day of our wedding, he showed up with true excitement and skill. From the moment he set up his equipment, the music selection was perfect. He was able to play the music requests I asked both for the ceremony and the reception. Personally I like Christian music and he made it seemlessly coincide with all the other dance music. He was even able to switch the way my bridal party did introductions completely last minute. On top of that, he even sang songs during our event. I got so many compliments on his skill, voice, and ability to get everyone dancing all night long.
Overall, I would highly recommend Sean Big Daddy from James Daniel Entertainment and if given the chance I would chose him again hands down.

Best Party Ever!!!

I am truly not sure where to start. We hired " Big Daddy" Sean Mckee for our wedding DJ and have been to several other weddings (including relatives) that Sean was a DJ. From the ceremony music to the introductions and amazing songs he personally sang made everything so much fun and personal. We had a big party and never lacked anyone on the dance floor or having a good time. "Big daddy" even accommodated some personal touches and songs we wanted and had asked for. Jimmy Romaniello was our DJ for our wedding on July 7, 2018. We had a great experience with James Daniel Entertainment. Jimmy and Sean McKee were very professional and responsive throughout the whole process. Sean worked with me and made it easy for me to use their website to submit our requests and our playlists. I honestly just let him work his magic on what songs to play for the night and everyone was dancing having a great time. He made the whole process stress free as he just asked a couple of questions and ran with it. They also provided us the uplighting at the venue and it was beautiful. Thank you Big Daddy for making our day so wonderful and memorable. You truly are brilliant at what you do and enjoy doing it every minute.

We had our wedding June 23,2018 and we had Big Daddy as our DJ! We could not have asked for anyone better! He got everyone in the floor and moving and singing and dancing! Even in between courses he was able to get people up! He even sings a few songs and he is FABULOUS! o thought it was the recording at first! Anyone ever asks for a recommendation, without hesitation James Daniel Entertainment and ask for Big Daddy! He was joking on the microphone and pointing people out all night! Really got people involved!
We even had a photo booth through them and John who was handling it was awesome! My nieces were loving it! In and out all night and he was so helpful with them and just kept telling them to come back!
We even had to postpone our wedding and Big Daddy was so thoughtful he even checked on us to make sure everything was ok! He’s not just a DJ he’s a family man!

I could rave about Sean McKee all day. He is the kindest man and was the perfect fit to DJ our wedding. He gets everyone involved. We had a smaller guest list than other weddings and Sean did a great job of making sure the reception felt intimate. Sean has a fantastic voice as he sang a tune or 2 for us, which our guests loved (as did my now husband and I). Sean is the type of person who will do anything he can to make sure the night goes well and everyone is having fun.

We could not have been more pleased with the quality of service that we received from James Daniel Entertainment. They were extremely helpful leading up to the wedding, we had to ask for last minute changes a few times and they were handled flawlessly. Jimmy did such a fantastic job I can't boast enough about how much fun all of our guests had. We still have people saying is was the best dance party music they'd ever heard, and that was masterfully executed by Jimmy. If you want to have fun and lots of love at your wedding you need Sean "Big Daddy" Mckee!

He knows two things better than anyone I've ever met: LOVE and MUSIC!

Our first time meeting Big Daddy was at a friends wedding, he turned it up! He had the crowd so into it the whole night, he had a keen sense of the couples style and nailed it (was probably more club music than he normally would play, but he "got" what they wanted and delivered 110%).

When my husband and I met him for the first time to discuss our wedding we left with sides that hurt from laughing and a sense that we were in great hands. He was confident in the details of the ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception, speeches, etc.

On the day of, he nailed it all! Best playlist ever - old school, new songs, classics, etc.

Guys, Big Daddy is the best Billy Joel and Elton John singer and will sing a couple of songs if you want him to (he's amazing!!!)...

The system to input ceremony music, intro songs, must plays, don't plays, etc. is so easy to work with.

James Daniel is also expanding their capabilities and doing more and more videography.

On September 3, 2017, we hired Big Daddy to DJ our wedding at the Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, Rhode Island. To say he surpassed our greatest expectations would be a vast understatement! The entire process of working with him to finalize songs, logistics, etc. in the days, weeks, and months leading up to the wedding was an absolute pleasure. Big Daddy is friendly, enthusiastic, and committed to making sure you and your guests have the most unforgettable day imaginable.

Over the course of the many emails, phone calls, and meetings we had with him, he always told us that he would have people up and dancing from BEFORE the salads even came out until the very end of the wedding -- and the fact is that Big Daddy delivered on every promise he made to us. He played what we wanted, when we wanted; used his own discretion when we deferred to his professional opinion and always made the right choices; accommodated every request we had every step of the way; and had the entire crowd chanting "One more song!" at the end of the night! He even did his own singing for a couple songs we asked him to sing, and he knocked them out of the park.

In the few days since our wedding, several different friends and relatives of ours have approached us and told us that they definitely want Big Daddy to be their DJ when the time comes to get married. We just can't say enough about his talent, professionalism, passion, and knack for making people feel comfortable and special on their big day!

Sean "Big Daddy" was our fun and fabulous DJ at our May wedding in Tarrywile Mansion. Not only is he good at what he does, he goes above and beyond. He worked with our additional requests to have Portuguese and Spanish songs that made our wedding feel more meaningful and special.

Sean is such a patient and nice guy. One day I had a little break down and could not get a hold of anyone but him. He stayed on the phone with me for almost a half an hour reassuring me that things will go smoothly. He said him and his team would make it happen and they sure did just that!!

James Daniel and DJ Paul were amazing at our wedding!! My husband and I wanted the theme of our wedding to be fun and Paul knocked it out of the park! We started with a list of songs we liked, including our important ones, (first dance, father-daughter) and trusted him to take the reigns from there. I hired Sean "Big Daddy" McKee to DJ at my August 2016 wedding and I could not have found a better DJ anywhere. Big Daddy could not have done a better job at our wedding. I can't say enough good things about James Daniel. Big Daddy blew us away from the start. Very responsive to inquiries and answered all our questions in a timely manner. He was able to make the day entirely about us but still include our guests. Our guests had a great time and raved about how good the DJ was. The photo booth was also fantastic. Big Daddy did our September wedding and the dance floor was never empty! The music was amazing and he kept the crowd going. Not one complaint from any of our guests. DJ Sean McKee AKA "Big Daddy" is an amazing wedding DJ, we couldn't have asked for someone better to be such a big a part of our special day.

My father has been a professional wedding DJ for 20+ years, so our standards are quite high. My family owns Events By Cool Cat in Upstate NY, which means our family revolves around weddings, especially DJing. The right person to DJ our wedding was a HUGE decision for us. Especially for my new hubby, who is also a wedding DJ. We are so HAPPY that we chose Big Daddy to be our wedding DJ.

From day one of deciding to have Big Daddy be a part of our wedding day, he made us feel so comfortable and showed he cared about us. Wedding planning can be so overwhelming, but he was able to make the process much easier. Early in the process, he took time out of his Atlantic City DJ Expo trip to sit down and meet with us. He also drove from CT to Upstate NY to plan with us as we got closer to the wedding. If you need him for anything DJ related (or just someone to talk with) he is always just a phone call away.

On the wedding day, Big Daddy was absolutely amazing. Not only was his DJ/MC skills so awesome, (to the point where he impressed a room full of DJs). He was also amazing in other ways that meant the world to my hubby and I. We were about to do our cake cutting, and we realized we had no plate and no forks. Big Daddy instantly went to our caterer and got that for us ASAP. Meanwhile, he was able to keep the attention of all our guests. He got everyone to sing & dance with us until we were able to properly cut our cake. What could of been a bad aspect of our day, turned into one of our favorite moments. My Dad and Big Daddy planned a surprised for me by him singing our Father-Daughter dance to us...he did a great job!! I could keep writing about how amazing he made our wedding day, everything was just perfect. Big Daddy is AMAZING. If you are looking for the best DJ ever, HIRE him now before he is booked!!! :)

My wife and I hired James Daniel Entertainment to provide DJ and Lighting Services for our wedding reception on June 27 at the Darien Community Association. They were extremely helpful and easy to work with for the entire process. The light crew set everything up a day in advance and returned at the end of the night to collect everything with no damage to the venue. We had 107 guests at our reception and Jimmy did a great job getting them all up and dancing after dinner. The online program for uploading our requests prior to the event was very easy and Jimmy even was even able to play an obscure track off of someone's phone through his system the night of the party.

We used Big Daddy (Sean) to DJ our wedding! He was absolutely amazing! My husband and I were very concerned about picking the right DJ for our wedding as everyone going had very different tastes in music, however, Sean knew exactly what to play and seemed to make everyone happen. He is very experienced and knew exactly what to do at what time. We also had a day wedding and we were very concerned about people wanting to dance during the day. He was great at getting everyone involved and on the dance floor and very funny! He was the perfect DJ for our perfect day! I highly recommend him!

Right from the start Sean Big Daddy was our saving grace! Our original wedding performer fell through and we were scrambling just weeks before the wedding to find a new performer. Although we loved the idea of a band, it was proving more and more complicated - but I am so glad we went with a DJ!

I think I spoke with about ten other DJs via email, but Sean was the first one to give me a call! Although the price was a little higher than other DJs his knowledge, experience and charisma sold me right away! He knows exactly what he's doing and he LOVES what he does. We met with Sean about three weeks before the wedding to go over the kind of music we were looking for, what our wedding would be like etc etc. Sean was so friendly and my husband and him instantly hit it off talking about sports!

James Daniel has an online portfolio where you can fill out your information, the schedule for the day, list of introductions, speeches etc. It also has a separate component for songs. You're allowed to choose 75 songs (although im sure you can request more if need be!) and they list recommended or top rated songs for first dance, father/bride dance, bouquet toss etc etc. It's a really useful tool! It certainly helped as our minds went blank thinking of songs.

On the day, Sean was there early, he made sure to come up to us throughout the night to check we were ok, if we needed anything etc. One of our family members requested a song that was on our do not play list, Sean found both of us to see if it was ok to play it. He truly knows what he's doing and EVERYONE commented on how great the playlist was! Our aunt recently sent us a message to say what wonderful memories she had of dancing to Bare Naked Ladies.

We can't thank you enough Sean! And we would highly recommend you for any future weddings!!!

What else can we possibly say about Sean "BIG DADDY" McKee, other than....GREAT on all LEVELS! Big Daddy is not only an AMAZING DJ, he's an equally AMAZING guy. From the day we met Sean McKee, I knew my bride and I were in good hands! Big Daddy was not just our DJ, he became our friend along the way as well! Sean took the time to get to know us, get to know our story, and get to know what we wanted for our big day! Aside from giving him some songs we wanted to use for our reception intros, and ruling out any chicken dances or electric slides, we gave him free reign to play whatever he felt necessary to get everyone on the dance floor, and he did not disappoint!! We wanted to have the biggest party of our lives, and we certainly did, thanks in great deal to Big Daddy and his amazing work. We were promised that every person would be on the dance floor, and those words were as true as they get. There was literally not one person at our wedding who did not hit the floor! We were absolutely lucky to have a vendor crew that all became friends, and were a HUGE part in making our wedding absolutely amazing and unforgettable.... Big Daddy was at the forefront of that group, and brought an energy and CARE that cannot be matched! My bride's father had a secret song and dance planned, and my mother also had a song she wanted kept secret as well, neither of which were spoiled, thanks in part to Sean meeting with them to keep them secrets! Big Daddy also incorporated songs into the playlist that were special to us and captured our personalities which made the night even more special. When I asked him to play Hulk Hogan's "Real American" and it's ready to go within seconds....that's when you know you've got a guy who's prepared!!! There isn't enough words in the world I can use to thank James Daniels and our friend Big Daddy enough for helping make May 1st 2015 the most amazing day of our lives. BOTTOM LINE: Big Daddy DJ's your wedding = Your Lucky!!!! Thank You!

Big Daddy Sean McKee is THE man. He DJ'd my friend's wedding a few years ago and ever since I knew he had to do mine. Paul Lacano of James Daniel is awesome. We knew we were in good hands when we first met with him. He has an awesome personality and a great knowledge of music that gets people excited and up dancing. Paul was incredible! Still hearing rave reviews about him! He hired the trio who played our ceremony and cocktail hour (flute, violin and cello). They were able to pretty much play anything we asked for the ceremony. We were a little nervous with a DJ but a band wasn't in our budget. He was low key, able to read the crowd and didn't treat it like a night club, which was the best part! He is frequently at our venue so he knew all the people and was a major help beyond just our music needs! Then there was the photo booth! The best part of the night! Can't wait for the USB of those pictures! Haha!

Paul - you know how to bring the funk. You know how to GET the party rolling and you know how to KEEP the party rolling.

Working with you was flawless - I loved your web site to manage our songs and loved the attention you paid to us, especially making sure you had the correct version of all the songs we chose.

You guided the entire evening perfectly and there was a perfect balance of old and new music.

We also used James Daniel for lighting. I wasn't going to do the up-lighting and I am so happy we did. It made the entire venue "pop" and gave a calm, romantic feeling to the entire ballroom.

I used James Daniel Entertainment for my DJ and had Sean "Big Daddy". He was WONDERFUL. He is so charismatic and fun loving. He got just about everybody out on the dance floor (the only people who didn't get up were either elderly or party poopers who don't dance!) throughout the night. He played every song I wanted, kept certain things a secret (my dad wanted the father/daughter dance song to be a surprise), and checked in regularly throughout the night to make sure everything was going smoothly. We supplied our own party fun (lei's, glow necklaces, bracelets) and he passed them out at an appropriate time. The music was awesome and he kept the party in full swing all night! He even sings and is awesome!

Sean Big Daddy McKee was the DJ for our wedding. He was a recommended vendor from our venue. Every person that asked us who our DJ was and when we told them it was Sean, said he was awesome. We went into our wedding day (day wedding) with high hopes and concerns about people getting up and partying during the day. Sean was amazing. The music he played and the way he kept everyone going. The dance floor was packed all day reception long. We had 250 people and they all were pretty much dancing. I highly recommend Sean and he's the best . We had Paul Lacano DJ our wedding, and he was amazing. He consistently had our guests up and dancing, and was a great MC. He was very respectful of our do not play list, and hit every song on our must-haves. If you want a 100% guarantee that you will have the time of your life, go with James Daniel and specifically ask for Big Daddy. He made our wedding PERFECT!

Soon after he agreed to DJ our wedding, we went to a bridal show to find a photographer and a few DJs called us over. We politely told them that we already had hired Big Daddy and they responded, “Oh, never mind, you guys are going to have a blast.” That told us everything we needed to know. We had the right guy. If your competitors have no choice but to acknowledge your talent, you’re doing a lot of things right.

We requested several songs that weren’t in the James Daniel library – he found them, and even bought an iTunes album for us. One song was only available on YouTube - he played it on his iPad so we could have all the songs we wanted.

Now here’s where it gets really good. We only asked him for about 6 songs (the essentials: mother-son dance, cake-cutting, etc.) the rest was up to him. What he chose is what makes him the best in the business. My husband and I got engaged in Disney World. We love all things Disney and our friends know that. But we never told Big Daddy that. So imagine our surprise when we sat down to dinner, and he played the romantic ballad versions of some of our favorite Disney songs. We asked how he knew that Disney would be the perfect choice and he said, “I listen.” Whether he heard our friends talking about our engagement or he saw the photos of us around the venue, it was above and beyond the call of duty for him to learn something about us and then make the music so incredibly personal. He was so much more than a DJ; he was a friend.

Everyone is still talking about our wedding, and he’s a big reason why. I saw members of my family dancing that I’ve never seen dance before in my life!

There is no way we can thank him enough for the professionalism and personal touch he brought to our wedding. I hope all of my friends are lucky enough to have him at their wedding.

DJ Gennaro did an amazing job at our wedding. The dance floor was full for the duration of our reception. He played all of the songs we wanted and then worked the crowd for the rest of the night. My husband and I used Big Daddy (Sean McKee) and Tim Stella who are part of James Daniel, as our DJ and MC and I can't emphasize enough how amazing they were. They had our whole wedding on the dance floor and it was packed the whole night. We were able to make a play list of the songs we wanted played and the songs we didn't want played. My husband and I had a vision of two particular songs we wanted for our wedding party and us to come out to at the reception and they made it happen. They ripped up that dance floor! Aside from being absolutely AMAZING, Sean and Tim are so nice and sincere. Sean was more than happy to answer any questions we had and always gave us great advice. He is so genuine and literally, the nicest person I've ever met. We were so happy with them. Sean "Big Daddy" McKee was our DJ and he was AMAZING! For the brides out there, you can't go wrong with choosing him. He did my sister's wedding and several of my friends before ours and choosing him for our ceremony and reception music was the best decision we made for our whole wedding. He was responsive, knowledgeable and any time my venue dropped the ball on anything throughout the whole thing- he didn't think twice to pick it back up. His heart is truly in what he does and it shows. Sean's warmth and heart brought so much joy to us on our day that was already filled with so much happiness and I couldn't say enough to strongly recommend him. He's a really fun DJ but still classy- which if you've been to enough weddings, this is really hard to come by. One of the bartender's at a bridal show told me that he's worked for ten years at a wedding venue and has seen all kinds of DJ's. James Daniel was the BEST! Paul (my DJ) was extremely helpful throughout my entire planning. I put together a video for my mom and I wanted it to be projected onto a big screen at the beginning of my reception. Paul knew exactly what to do!
