September 2023 wedding

We used DJ Watson and he was great! He was able to have a prior meeting with us and went over all the songs we wanted played. He even came to rehearsal and I really appreciated that. We did start late on the wedding day so during the reception he was just about to really give us a party but the venue stopped us at 10pm. Overall I will use him again!

Non-stop Party

I was a guest at a wedding and had such an amazing time. The music was awesome! The DJ kept everyone up dancing the whole night as he provided a variety of music! I would highly recommend him for other events.

Amazing experience

They do all types of events, not just weddings!! I wanted a festive atmosphere for my 50th birthday celebration and it was that and more. DJ Dutch was awesome! First he arrived on time, a major plus, then once the party got started it was continuous good selections. The guests sang and danced along to some oldies but goodies as well the current hits. Everyone had a great time!!

Dj Dutch was fantastic. He set the vibe and he did not let down the entire night. He not only played our list of songs but was given the freedom to entertain our party as he saw fit. I would most definitely recommend his service. Our party of about 55 were very pleased. Thanks again.

Wedding of a Lifetime

I can’t say enough about how amazing of a job Kevan and his crew did. Jamaica Wedding DJ is top notch. My wife and I planned a destination wedding and I’m so grateful we selected them to be our DJ. We had a small party but the way they had us on the dance floor rocking out all night was just amazing. It was such a great experience and I can’t put into words how grateful I am for the service they provided.

DJ Kevan was Fantastic

We hired Jamaica Wedding DJ to DJ our wedding. Kevan was our DJ and MC, he was phenomenal. Throughout the process, his positive attitude and energy reassured us that our event would rock. He had a back up plan for every scenario! Our dance floor was packed all night. He played a great mix of songs that appealed to a diverse crowd and kept everyone moving. 100% recommend Kevan and Jamaica Wedding DJ for your event.

Amazingly Professional, Highly recommend!

Ok this review is over due.. We can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Jamaica Wedding DJs. From planning calls to the wedding day, we were taken care of and the process was stress-free. Most importantly, the music was beautiful during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and the reception was a non-stop party. DJ Kevan kept us and our guests dancing all night and we truly had the best night of our lives. You know you made the right decision when your guests are relentlessly chanting “ONE MORE SONG” at the end of the night.

We can’t thank JWDJ enough for the talent, energy, and ability to read the room, they brought to our wedding!!! Kevan was so easy to work with and professional in our planning meeting before the wedding, confirming all of our details and wishes and giving us so much confidence in what was to come. He was a delight on the wedding day, checking in with us just the right amount to make sure we knew what was going on, keeping us on schedule, and coordinating throughout the night to make sure everything went smoothly. Thank you Kevan and to the rest of the team in the office for your amazing work and dedication!

My Dream Wedding

They are the absolute best! Any questions I had had they responded in a timely manner. My guest till this day say to me, that was the best wedding they ever attended. The DJ had everyone on the dance floor. Without any hesitation, I am requesting Jamaica wedding DJ when I renew my vows.

Amazing experience, the best wedding DJ ever

I was the MC at my friend's wedding at Iberostar Suites in September of 2019. I was told that I would need to work with the DJ that had been hired for the reception. It was my first time MC'ing a wedding and I was a little nervous working with a DJ I had never met. From our first meeting, Kevan made me feel very comfortable and at ease by greeting me with the biggest smile. He was extremely professional, gave me tips on how to keep the guests engaged and helped me to remain focused on the task at hand. It was a wonderful night, he made the night a memorable one for the bride and groom and all the guests. I had been toying with the idea of hosting an upcoming birthday party at a resort in Jamaica and could not decide what resort or what company to work with to make it all a reality; well I need not worry about who to work with anymore. When the time comes, I will definitely be working with Jamaica Wedding DJ to make my event the memorable occasion that I know they will help me to create. I would highly recommend Jamaica Wedding DJ. If you want your wedding or event to be one that guests will talk about for years to come, then they are your only choice.

Perfect DJ for our wedding - DJ Kevan

Our wedding was on Sept.14,2019, and DJ Kevan with Jamaica Wedding DJs was our DJ and MC for our wedding reception. He was absolutely fantastic! He was prepared well in advance, and spoke with us to get a feel of what type of music and what kind of dances and special features we wanted for our reception. We gave him a song list, and communicated to him what we wanted our reception to be like. We couldn't have been more pleased! He had everyone dancing and having a great time. He was personable, fun, tasteful; and all of our guests had nothing but praise and compliments for him! That was saying something; because my husband has two well known DJs in his family. Kevan was prompt; he was all set up two hours early....and everything went smoothly. He handled the music for our ceremony as well; and everything went seamlessly......and it was beautiful! We would highly recommend Kevan and Jamaica Wedding DJs.

Total Professionals! - book them

I was referred to Jamaica Wedding DJs via a friend who used them for her wedding a few years ago and was super impressed by the responsiveness of the office staff. Their prices are very reasonable and my fiance and I narrowed down our choices by the mixes that are posted on their website. We read the reviews about DJ Kevan and booked him.

Through the process, Kevan was very thorough and quick to respond to any questions. The staff at Jamaica Wedding DJ (Tiffany) was also very quick to respond and very detail-oriented. Prior to the wedding, we met Kevan at the hotel in person and he walked us through his music strategy. We were thoroughly impressed and I had no reservations going into the wedding.

Kevan played during the dinner hour and the reception and he KILLED it. I got compliments all night about the music and everyone wanted to know who we booked. The guests were really impressed that Kevan was mixing the music and that it truly flowed vs. some weddings where it sounds like it's just a playlist. He kept the energy up and if something wasn't sticking, he seamlessly moved to the next song.

We were so happy with the experience and would definitely book Jamaica Wedding DJs again!

If you need wedding rentals, decorations or a DJ, then this vendor is the one to use! They are amazing and this is coming from someone who is very picky. I was nervous about planning my wedding in Jamaica from Florida without having a wedding planner and from the moment that I contacted them, I knew I was in good hands. Chloe and Tiffany were so professional, friendly and they did not leave any of my questions unanswered (and I had a lot). They responded to all of my emails in less than 12 hours and they always called me when they said they would. To be honest, when I first started my planning, I did not know what I was doing but I was able to ask them for recommendations and guidance which they were more than happy to provide. On my wedding day, I was blown away at how perfectly they executed everything. The decorations were exactly what I asked for but wayyyyy better and the DJ played all of the songs that I had requested and was able to make the whole wedding flow smoothly. My family, friends and I danced the wholeeee time during the reception (and we are a family that don’t usually like to dance). If you need a wedding DJ, decorator, rentals, tent, lighting etc then this company is the one to use! They are just too good to miss out on.

I gave a list of music at our meeting dj Dutch knew every song and added his own style in there too! He played our NFL teams entrance song for use to walk into.( we got married Super Bowl weekend) He kept the crowd moving and everyone enjoyed all the music he played. He is very good at what he does! Everything went just as planned

We had a great party thanks to our DJ Vaun! He always played the right songs and everyone had a great time. We could not have been more satisfied with his ability to grasp the mood of our guest, which was not easy considering that we are from Nigeria and we wanted some particular African songs. Right music at the right time

Nardo was the DJ in our wedding, and we are so happy with him! We planned our wedding at Pattoo Castle all the way from New York, and from the first email we sent to Jamaica Wedding DJ, they have been professional and so helpful. Great dj/ mc

I booked the Jamaica Wedding DJ services last minute as the previous DJ cancelled. From my interaction with Tiffany to the actual Day everything was awesome . Our DJ came professionally dressed he fit into the event nicely . He was pleasant with all the guest who had any requests and was very courteous towards Us I had told Tiffany prior that we didn't want to do alot of traditional stuff and he found other creative was to keep the guests engaged . All our guest enjoyed themselves as the music selection was wonderful. We had several song changes for the ceremony and he had all the song choices we had requested and played several others based on the crowd . Thank you so much guys you all helped to make it a special day .

I invited DJ Nardo to perform on the day of my wedding . When I first logged on to their website, I saw this Warning sign that their Photo Booth contains high level of fun. At first, I thought it was a hoax or marketing strategy, but alas! It was much more than fun.

We got married in September last year and we really could not have managed to infuse so much fun without the help of Sam & his DJ team.

Their professionalism was like none I had even seen. They seem to know what everyone wants to listen to at every point in time and that's simply amazing.

We worked with Kevan with the Reggae Tech Group and everything was perfect! I was nervous with a destination wedding and only meeting Kevan a couple days before but immediately felt better talking to him! They did our wedding and "rehearsal" bonfire! Amazing!!!! We partied from the time the Dj got there until he left. My aunt which at the time was 79 danced most of the time. If that doesn't say a lot then you don't like to party lol because that's what you will be doing with Jamaica Wedding DJ. We were married on 8/19/17 at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites by the lazy river and had our private reception in the Sole Mio Restaurant. Thanks to DJ Vaun we had an awesome time with our guests. From the start Jamaica Wedding DJ was very responsive to our emails (which goes a long way when planning a destination wedding). DJ Vaun set up to meet with us before the wedding and we went over all final details. He was very welcoming and professional. Jamaica Wedding Dj services were amazing! We had our destination wedding at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay, on 2.24.17. All of my contact before arriving to Jamaica was through Instagram & Email. They were so fast to respond and very professional. Their prices were very reasonable as well. We met with DJ Vaun a couple of days before our wedding and I knew right away he was going to be great! He was so detailed with his questions and really understood what we (and our guests) expected at our wedding. They were even nice enough to accommodate us last minute for our night before bonfire welcome party. They set us up with DJ Dutch and he definitely kept the party going!! I did not even give him a playlist. He was able to read the crowd so well. We had a fire dancer that night, and DJ Dutch knew exactly what to play for his performance! He was so nice, and so cool!
The night of our wedding DJ Vaun was incredible. He played all of the songs we had requested and even took the time to party with us on the dance floor! In between songs, we asked him to just work his magic, and he sure did! My fiancé and I could not have been happier. He was so much fun :). Our guests are still raving about his enthusiasm and ability to keep the crowd going. I would highly recommend their services!

The wedding took place in Long Island, New York. Both Dj Josa & Dj Vaun made the wedding much more enjoyable than we ever imaged. Not only did they play ALL THE RIGHT SONGS - including the "spur of the moment" requests- they were both personable and attentive AND made efforts to dance and interact with the crowd. They kept the diverse crowd moving all night, ensuring that both young and old were interested and entertained from the start of the Reception until the end. Their musical selections (soca, dancehall, pop, hip hop, r&b, reggae.... and more) had EVERYONE raving about how spectacular the event was, even until now (weeks later)! Without DJ Josa & Dj Vaun the wedding would not have been such a great success! Definitely recommend them for any crowd or upcoming event!

We had a very small wedding and I did not think we would have much dancing but we had DJ Dutch and he was awesome!!! I left the dance floor dripping with sweat! We hired DJ Dutch for our reception in Montego Bay and he was awesome. He took our suggestions and created a really nice mix of music. Our guests were on the dance floor the whole night and we had a mix of ages and backgrounds. We asked for a lot of soca, reggae and hip hop and he delivered. DJ Dutch didn't miss a beat and he remembered to play my favorite song and my husband's favorite song while we were dancing. Jamaica Wedding DJ staff was also prompt with getting back to me early in the process and everything went smooth without any issues. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking to have a memorable wedding reception. Very professional!!! I wish I had booked them for the ceremony music too.

I highly recommend Kevan for any occasion! For my 25th anniversary vow renewal, I was extremely nervous about entertaining my guests who are from a different cultural background with an indiscriminate taste for music, but Kevan contrived ways to turn my reception party into a real "hit". Jamaica Wedding DJ was wonderful to work with from beginning to end of our wedding experience. I corresponded primarily with DJ Kevan prior to the wedding. He was very responsive to my many questions and suggestions regarding our special day. DJ Kevan set up an in-person meeting in Jamaica a few days prior to the wedding to go over last minute details and of course to meet us, my husband and I travelled from the USA for our Jamaican wedding. DJ Kevan had wonderful ideas and suggestions for some of the items we hadn't quite figured out. He was very knowledgeable, professional, timely and had an awesome lively fun spirit about him. Wedding day arrives, DJ Kevan was there early as promised, met with my photography staff and my emcee for the night to review the itinerary for the evening. Unbeknownst to me, my sister also had a surprise up her sleeve for us for her MOH speech. DJ Kevan's flexibility shone bright like a diamond at this point because he was not aware of this surprise until roughly 2 hours before the reception. My sister requested that he play an instrumental for a specific song for her to rap her MOH speech. DJ Kevan was able to honor her request on the fly, which is a testament to his flexibility. professionalism and knowledge base. Moving forward to the dancing portion of the reception....we danced ALLLL night long. DJ Kevan played the perfect mix of music to keep people on the dance floor for two hours straight. His musical repertoire is massive, he played reggae, dancehall, hip hop, R&B and even Nigerian music. He had it all and we didn't want the night to end!!! With DJ Kevan and Jamaica Wedding DJ one cannot go wrong for a wonderful wedding and a dancing good time! We also sprung for the photo booth and purple lighting, both of which the guests and us thoroughly enjoyed. RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND! I would give him 6 stars if I possible, he is well worth the money and you will not be disappointed.

Kevan was the DJ for my renewal of vows and he was amazing. I was a little scared since you take chances when planning a destination wedding, however, all my fears were relieved when we met Kevan. He came to the hotel prior to the ceremony and went through a few items, on the day of the wedding, everything came out perfect and all my requests and special order of music for my bridal party were delivered with no hiccups. Kevan and his team were professional at all times and were always available to answer questions at all times, Romae was also the best on assisting me on making enhancement decision such as LED and always providing direction to areas where I needed input. If you want to take your wedding to another level, Jamaica Wedding DJ is your one stop shop for awesomeness! Planning a destination wedding is hard because you have to be at the mercy of people you won't meet until closer to the wedding. This DJ service was recommended to me from my resort. After the first email, I knew we were in good hands. I sent a request and got a response the same day. Every email was prompt!! Loved that! We agreed on cost, which was very reasonable, and I sent them a wedding music list of songs that we love. That was it! Our awesome DJ was Kevan (DJ-Vaun). We met a couple days before the wedding. Super cool guy! Easy to communicate with and he had everything set. Again...trust! Faith in someone I just met was hard, but something about him told he had it handled!! At this meeting we also added lighting for the reception. Another great deal and I’m soooooo happy we added it because Kevan transformed the boring reception hall into a magical masterpiece! I didn't even know it was the same place. All of our guests raved about how beautiful it was and really we had no table centerpieces or anything. The lighting alone set the whole place off! During dinner the music was perfect. He took my suggested list and made it his own. From the wedding party intros to the first dance to the cutting of the cake, everything went smoothly and the music flowed. Then the party started…my family is from West Africa and we love to get down. Kevan started it off and we stayed on the dance floor until everything was over. Even the wait staff joined in the fun! My husband, who NEVER dances, was even out there with us. The best time of my life!!! All of my guests said it was the party of the year. i booked DJ Kevan for our wedding in January 2016. We also rented a tent, dance floor and lights from him for our wedding. He met with us a few days before our big day. He was very friendly and well organized. I was very impressed. The day of our wedding was amazing. The tent was gorgeous and he was awesome. Jamaica Wedding DJs were great from the start. From the responsiveness and courteousness of Romae to being paired with the perfect DJ for our special day DJ Dutch aka Sheldon. Romae answered all queries I had via email and even by Whatsapp. When I emailed them initially they called me immediately. We were paired with DJ Dutch and once we sent them the listing of music we liked or preferred we didn't get a chance to physically meet but he had a detailed conversation over the phone with my husband and I and we went through everything. On the day they were prompt and there to setup from early. They also provided us with PA System for our Ceremony and they played our wedding ceremony music. When it got to the reception our DJ worked with us to transition through each section as he was also our MC for the night. We made a few changes to the Programme as the night went on and he easily provided the night with fillers and games to make things flow smoothly. Our wedding was very non-traditional and very us and that was in part to Sheldon ( DJ Dutch). Thank you guys again. And we highly recommend them for your wedding in Jamaica.

Jamaica Wedding DJs were recommended by Iberostar Rose Hall Suites Wedding Coordinator Simone. Such a great recommendation. I initially had contact with Kevan then Romae adeptly took over our interaction. We initially only booked the DJ services for two hours. Later we decided to have a reception on the beach and booked a tent and lighting set up with them as well. The booking process and payment process was incredibly easy. Romae walked me through it all. They offer online payment options which makes it much easier. Romae informed us our DJ would be DJ DUTCH. Please request him. He was amazing. In our meeting he took the time to listen to us and find out what kind of people we are and the exact mood we wanted. I can't say enough about how awesome he was. Everyone danced the entire two hours without stopping. He nailed it!!!

The tent was large with a clear top to see the sky and the dance floor was excellent and stable even though it was on the beach.

Kevan Stewart (DJ Vaun) made our wedding reception in Ocho Rios such a success. Believe it or not, he was in a car accident on his way to meet us for our pre-wedding meeting and still decided to come to our wedding 2 days later, instead of providing a replacement. With a leg hurting, he stood almost all night making sure everyone was entertained. He went above and beyond and even facilitated wedding games as well as the lantern send-off, and was even the MC for the night. Both my husband and I were amazed about his performance since we never got the chance to go over our song list with him but rather just sent him a quick email. Nevertheless, he was very good at improvising and making sure everyone had fun. Keep in mind that we are Africans from Guinea with specific song choices and DJ Vaun took us back to our roots with his music. Both guests and wedding coordinators were amazed by his professionalism, knowledge and performance. Thank you Kevan for everything. Ibrahim and I are grateful....

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ at our Destination Wedding! Sheldon made the day so amazing and perfect for us! He checked in on us multiple times throughout the party to make sure we were having a good time - and we absolutely were. One of my favorite moments of the evening was when we sent off sky lanterns - the music Sheldon had playing in the background made it that much better! We loved having Kevan as our DJ for our wedding in Jamaica! He was so easy to work with, quick to get back to us when we had questions, and so flexible. We booked Kevan early on after hearing so many great things about him and I'm glad we did. We met with Kevan a few days before our wedding to go over songs, introductions, etc. The day of the wedding everything went off without a hitch. He even got our whole reception to sing to my husbands aunt for her 50th birthday, at our request. He read the crowd and played great music, keeping everyone on the dance floor. I'm so glad we hired Kevan as our wedding DJ. He did not disappoint!

My wedding was in Ocho Rios Jamaica on July 12 and we had a wonderful time. The dj was able to adjust to the crowd and request that my family and I had. He is very flexible with adding additional songs in at the last minute for example my son and I dance which is a 6 year old. The memories from our wedding are amazing and the crowd was well pleased with the selection that was made all throughout the night. Thank you again Kevan for the wonderful experience.

Kevan was AMAZING and turned our wedding reception into the all out dance party we were hoping for! We gave him an idea of the crowd and a playlist with some musical direction and he worked it!. Everyone was on the dance floor and only stopped moving to catch their breath. He even took on the very last minute job of emcee without hesitation and did a great job. DJ Kevan is awesome, he is very professional, helpful, amazing and sure knows how to keep the party jumping. His ideas were great, he played the right songs at the right times and I don't think my guest got off the dance floor. When he said it was time to go they still wanted more. When I decided to do a destination wedding I had no idea what vendors to use and I noticed that Kevan's name had in a lot of positive reviews and I knew I had to have him for my special day. Also the photographer I picked recommended him as well. Looking back I made the best decision ever, I don't think anyone else would have keep that party pumping the way he did. My entire family can not stop talking about how great him and his assistant Richard were. They are still asking when is the next event so he can keep the party going all night. He also provided the dance floor and the LED lights. He was an amazing MC for the night and Richard was on the dance floor teaching me dance moves. I would recommend him again and if I have another event he will always be my first choice. Also he worked well with my Photographer and Wedding Coordinator. If you are planning a wedding in Jamaica Kevan Stewart should be your first choice. Even if its not in Jamaica see if he travels. It worth it. Don't forget to have him bring his assistant Richard. They make a great team.

The team from Jamaica Wedding DJ's are reliable, professional and provide excellent service! I have been using them over the past 2years for Weddings, parties, dinners, lighting and meetings.

They arrive on time, with the necessary state of the art equipment (extra too) and are quick to offer their assistance in other areas unrelated to their services.

The DJ's are professional, talented, courteous, knowledgeable, well dressed and keep the guests dancing all night! It is always a pleasure working with them. They insist on meeting my brides to go through the evening's program and make great recommendations to improve and enhance the flow of events which brides find very helpful.

Their knowledge base of music is beyond compare as they are able to suggest songs from any genre of music suitable for the occasion and also give feedback re the couples playlist. Because they are all trained Emcees they are able to either host the evenings events or jump in and make announcements and or introductions when needed.

Flexible is their middle name, as they are ready to make location changes, program changes and music changes at my request, as a planner this makes life easier for me and one less thing to worry about on my bride's special day!

I would definitely recommend using Jamaica Wedding DJ's, they're amazing guys to have on your team! They do awesome lighting too!

DJ Kevan was extremely helpful and easy to work with from the very beginning of my wedding planning journey. Coming highly recommended from a Facebook group (we did a Destination Wedding at Iberostar Rose Hall Beach resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica), DJ Kevan was friendly, very professional, reasonably priced and highly sought after by many brides!

DJ Kevan asked for a list of songs/genres/do not play to get a general sense of what we would like to hear at our wedding reception, and he comes well equipped with more than we even asked for.
We met in person a few days before the wedding and DJ Kevan was very inviting, relaxed and sure of his skill and reassured us that he would bring "the fun"- we liked that attitude and walked away from the meeting feeling happy with our wedding DJ decision.

At the reception, DJ Vaun added beautiful lighting to the atmosphere and had the whole wedding group jamming to his songs while we ate, listened to speeches and finally got on the dancefloor.

DJ Kevan was AMAZING! He truly added to the magic of our wedding!! We hired him as our MC and DJ...one of the BEST decisions that we made!!!! He met with us 2 days before the wedding, and I was SO impressed that he really keyed into some of the things we said just in casual conversation during that meeting and he incorporated them into our reception...making the event that much more FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!

Kevan also added some last minute up lighting, which added so much to the ambiance of our reception.

My only little complaint (and it is little) was that Kevan was a little hard to get a hold of, but then again EVERY vendor in Jamaica was slow to respond:) I am sure it also has to do with the fact that he is highly sought after for weddings. He was ALWAYS where he said he would be, when he said he would be there.

I cannot recommend him enough!! He is GREAT at what he does!! I would hire him again in a New York minute!!

DJ Kevan was one of the best choices I made early on within my wedding planning! He not only DJ’s in Jamaica, but he’s literally worldwide. As a result, he gets booked quick. Act fast if you’re considering him…you will not be disappointed. He also was my MC. Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond Kevans control, the reception started late. However, his experience and professionalism kicked in and he moved things along as required. In addition, my guests had a ball…which is the one thing brides worry about. Well, there was no need to worry. I highly recommend for DJ and MC service!

Great Vibez

Kevan Stewart, you killed it. The music was flawless. I don’t have a bad thing to say. It was beautiful to see that no one sat down the whole time he played. Especially given that fact that my crowd isn’t an easy one to please. There are so many different types of music lovers in both our families I was a little nervous. He had to please our soca/reggae lovers and old school/R&B lover all while not offending the Ministers, Evangelists and Pastors in attendance. Honestly, he did an amazing job. Not only would I recommend him, but I would also tell you to ensure he’s the first choice on your list. For our wedding, he worked with Iberostar Resorts but I believe he works with all of them. Trust me, you won’t regret hiring him but you might regret not hiring him.

My wife and I got married at Sandals and we hired DJ Nardo tobe our DJ and we could not have been more satisfied with his professionalism and ability to exactly match our taste for songs, considering that we are from Spain and we had a much diversified selection from music.
