Great dress option

J'aime Bridal was the first shop my wife walked into for her wedding dress, and the only one she needed. She expected to go to multiple shops for a very particular style, but the three associates she worked over multiple visits nudged her into trying multiple styles and cuts, and she ended up picking one she wouldn't have otherwise tried and absolutely loved. The shop's recommended tailor (Tamara) also did a fantastic job.

Great for bridesmaids dresses too!

My bridesmaids purchased their dresses through J’aime Bridal and they were great! They had many Bill Levkoff sample dresses so each bridesmaid got to try on several different styles. The customer service was great--they have several dressing rooms in the same area so all the bridesmaids got to try on dresses simultaneously.

We ended up purchasing five dresses through this shop and all of my bridesmaids looked amazing!

Great place to shop for wedding dresses!

After visiting 3 different stores in the East Bay Area, I finally found my wedding dress at J’aime Bridal!! I was exhausted by the end of the day, but the store associates were so kind and energetic, and were extremely helpful in thinking through options and possibilities with me! In the end, I went with an a-line Maggie Sotero dress that happened to be a store sample — it fit me perfectly and was priced very reasonably. Janis, the in-house tailor, was also wonderful to work with — I needed only minor modifications, and Janis was both efficient and organized. Everything from my first fitting to my final fitting was super smooth, and they were even able to keep my dress until the wedding (and steam it just before!), which helped loads! If you’re searching for a wedding dress, J’aime Bridal is the perfect place to visit.

Great Experience

Last year when I was shopping for my wedding dress, J'aime was the 4th salon went to. This salon carries Essence of Australia and Maggie Sotero, which after trying on so many dresses were my top two designers. I loved the organization of the store, and both times I went the staff was incredibly helpful in taking my feedback and pulling new dresses. I found my dress here and it was perfect.

The best bridal shop in the Bay Area!

I bought my dress at J'aime Bridal after visiting 2 other bridal shops in the Bay Area. It was a fun and smooth process from start to finish. They've got so many beautiful dresses to choose from; I found a dress that I loved and can't wait to wear on my wedding day next year. The team at J'aime Bridal is experienced, helpful, and friendly -- not much more you could ask for there! Plus, Janis Stob, their in-house tailor, is extremely talented and efficient with alterations. I wish I had another dress to buy so that I could go back again!! For anyone seeking a wedding dress (or a bridesmaid dress), I'd highly recommend visiting J'aime Bridal! (and of course, I'll add photos of my dress after my wedding!)

Plus, during this COVID time, they're going above and beyond to help brides find their wedding dresses -- it's really clear that they love what they do!

Perfect for this plus size bride!

I cannot even begin to say how much I loved finding my dress at J'aime Bridal! After going to 3 other shops, they were our last shop of the day and the most perfect one! As a plus-size bride I was so nervous how I was going to look in a wedding dress, but 10 minutes with the Jamie told me that this was my new home. I found my dress, they knew I had found it but didn't want to influence me because they wanted it to be authentically mine. WE ordered it in the right color and size with an additional lace package so I could add sleeves. It arrived so quickly I didn't know what to do! I went and tried it on and they were there for me when I had that magical moment of "this is my dress." After that it was a whirlwind! I set up my fittings with Janis Stob immediately. She helped me customize my sleeves perfectly! As a plus-size bride I don't like my arms, she made me look royal and comfortable! My sleeves were perfect, not itchy and I could raise my arms and dance the night away including our first choreo dance! My experience with her and the whole team is priceless and I would recommend them to anyone!

Favorite Bridal Boutique!!

I got married back in October and I purchased my Wedding dress through Jaime!
I highly recommend Jaime Bridal to go dress shopping. They have a wide variety of sizes as well as styles of dresses.
My experience trying on dresses was stress free and fun! All the ladies that work there, make a point of being attentive to your concerns, questions, etc.
Jaime Bridal also has great options for bridesmaids, MOG & MOB Dresses!!

I said YES to the dress!

I came here this past Saturday to look for my dress and I found THE perfect one! My bridal consultant was Kristina and she was super sweet and helpful. She helped me find the dress of my dreams and I couldn't be more excited. They had sooo many beautiful dresses and even have a ton of bridesmaids dresses which we'll be coming back for. Wonderful bridal boutique!

I found my dream dress at J’aime Bridal and my bridesmaids’ dresses. We had an amazing experience trying on dresses. I tried on my dress several times because I wanted my sisters, mom, and mother-in-law to see the dress before I said yes to the dress. They couldn’t come on the same day and they were so accommodating. They are very responsive to phone calls, texts, and emails. My veil was delayed in being shipped and I had already scheduled my HMU trial. They were so kind and let me borrow the store’s veil for my HMU trial. I also loved the continuity of working with Jaime the entire way.
It was also awesome that if you purchase your wedding gown there, you get a discount on bridesmaid dresses. Jaime was so helpful in trying to find the perfect combination of shades of purple for my bridesmaid dresses. Two of my bridesmaids were not local and they helped them do measurements over the phone. Five out of six of my bridesmaids had a perfect fit to their dress. For some reason, my sister’s dress was way too big and was difficult to alter even though she got measured at J’aime. I think that was just a fluke though because all of the other dresses were sized appropriately.
Their seamstress, Janis at December’s Child, was wonderful! She was fun and easy-to-work with. She was sweet and made my garter from the extra fabric from my dress that we took off when we hemmed the dress. She made the alterations process stress-free. She had my dress ready to go well in advance of my wedding.
Everyone associated with J’aime Bridal is so friendly. I am so thankful to the whole team!

Pleasant to work with!

I found my dress on my first visit! My bridesmaids found their dress with ease too! The staff members are so helpful and kind! Every time I walked it, it felt like a sisterhood! February 24, 2019 Wedding

Turns out, my sister-in-law and her cousins all purchased their wedding gowns here. Although I didn't find my wedding dress here, I did find my bridesmaids' dresses! I appreciate that I was allowed to order swatches before deciding on a color scheme for my wedding. Thanks to the staff for being patient with my bridemaids! They allowed my bridesmaids to come in to try on different styles and put their dresses on hold before purchasing.

Loved Everything About It

J'aime Bridal is the best bridal experience you can have. I found a dress at a bridal fair that I fell in love with, but I needed to have my mom with me when I chose my dress. So I called around the bay area trying to find a store that carried it. J'aime Bridal was listed as one, but didn't have it in stock. So they above and beyond and ordered a brand new sample dress in my size. We rescheduled for when they would have it, so I could try it on again. When I came for my appointment they hadn't let anyone try it on, and of course I loved it so they let me buy the brand new sample dress.

Their customer service is phenomenal, and I would recommend them to everyone. My dress was a Maggie Sottero - Veda. And my wedding was on Feb 16th, 2019 at the venue: OVY Camp in San Gregorio, CA.

Jaime and the whole team at J’aime Bridal are fantastic! They have gorgeous dresses at the right prices, and helped me pick just what I wanted. Janis at December’s Child, who does their alterations, worked absolute magic on creating lace cap sleeves and other complex changes to my dress. I absolutely love the final dress and loved working with this whole team to make it just perfect!

wonderful experience with beautiful dresses

Let's just say I am one of those Brides that was very picky about her wedding dress. Thanks to Pinterest I had an image in my head of what I wanted my dress to look like, but after trying on too many to count I realized that my 'dream' dress wasn't in my budget. I went to Jaimes because it is a local store for me and after my first visit I was sure this was where I was going to buy my dress from. All the consultants were so accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. The owner was able to bring in a few dresses that I really wanted to try by one of the designers they carried. To me that stood out as outstanding customer service. I purchased a Essense of Australia dress and I love it. It has a jersey lining inside so beyond comfortable and fit like a glove after a few alterations. The ladies who work here seem to care about what you want and they don't push you to purchase a dress. It really is about enjoying yourself and finding the right dress for you..and the best part is all the dresses are reasonably priced with the most expensive being $2500. I would recommend this store to anyone!

The second I got engaged, I started to research bridal shops for my wedding gown. I went to a few and I wasn't feeling the warmth, or excitement from the people who ran the shop. Then I found a cute little shop in Pleasanton called J'Aime Bridal. The staff was so wonderful and welcoming and had a wide variety of dresses.
That day I found my dress that I wanted. It was not what I thought I wanted, but it was a dream come true. I did end up getting my dress from them and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. Siri easy and friendly and happy for my patronage. If you are in the bay area and planning on getting married soon, J'Aime bridal is the place to go. You will not be disappointed!

This was the first and only shop I went to. I specifically chose this shop (even though it was about an hour drive from me) because they were the only ones who carried a specific Maggie Sottero dress that I wanted. Upon arrival, even though traffic made me a little late, they greeted me right away and already had a reserved dressing room and area for me and my bridesmaids. The attendant Courtney had already set aside the dress I wanted. She took me throughout the store to choose more dresses to try on. Throughout the entire time, she was so patient, and never pushy. I never felt rushed or pressured into buying anything. I ended up getting a different dress, one from Essence of Australia. She helped me place a super rush order and took my measurements. She was patient enough to explain to me the entire waiting process for my dress. She even helped me pick out some accessories (veil, headband, and belt).

My dress arrived at the store earlier than expected, which made me so happy! They are also open on Sundays so that made it super convenient for me to stop by on my days off. They gave me recommendations on seamstresses who can do my alterations. I ended up going with Janis. What made it even more convenient was she had another work area located in Benicia which was only 5 minutes from me. Janis was super sweet and nice! I felt comfortable with her, and she was always friendly. On top of that, she made my dress fit me perfectly like a glove! She knew exactly what she was doing.

Overall, J'aime Bridal shop and their recommended seamstress Janis were amazing! Thank you!!

What a fantastic boutique!! I definitely had a "Say Yes to the Dress" moment when I found my wedding dress at J'aime. They have a beautiful collection, and a surprisingly wide variety of styles given the size of the store. When I've gone to other boutiques to help friends find their dresses in the past, the samples can be a bit limited but J'aime has a great number of dresses to choose from. Being located in Pleasanton also made shopping for a dress so much more affordable than other spots I was considering, and all of the associates were very friendly, helpful and responsive. They were very on top of making sure that the dress arrived in time for the wedding, and that I had time for fittings. The dress itself was stunning - I got so many compliments on the wedding day and several people wanted to know where I'd find the dress (some seemed to think it was custom-made). In sum, I highly recommend J'aime to any future brides!

After continuous trips to local bridal shops in search of the perfect wedding accessories, we finally stumbled upon J'aime Bridal and were instantly impressed by their friendly staff and selection of products. Although we had no appointment, the staff welcomed us and attentively listened to what I was looking for. They have a great selection of veils, from cathedral length to birdcage veils, you are bound to find something that fits your personality.

With the help of the J’aime Bridal team, I found the perfect veil for my destination wedding and even bought additional accessories. Great location, friendly and professional staff, and awesome variety of products. Only bummer; I wish I had visited J’aime Bridal first before purchasing my gown elsewhere.

This was the first and only place I went to try on dresses. I showed up and was greeted immediately. My consultant took the list I brought in of dresses andvwentbto work pulling them from the shelves while my friends picked out some too. I tried on mostly Maggie Sottero dresses. I fell in love with them online. By the end of my list I hadn't fallen in love with a dress. There were certain aspects of each dress I loved, but nothing that combined it all. My consultant then went and searched the racks and brought me the last dress I tried on. And I fell in LOVE! It is a Maggie Sottero and combines everything I loved about the other dresses. She let me try on some belts and accessories to find the perfect look and even let me take extra time because her next appointment had cancelled. We wound up buying my dress and accessories as well as my bridesmaid dress that day. I can't wait to get my dress in!

I ordered my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from J'aime. When I booked my appointment to try on dresses the first time, they were very helpful with scheduling and answering all my questions. Once it was time for the appointment my consultant was wonderful about staying in my price range (all the dresses are reasonably priced), picking dresses in styles I wanted and recommending other styles she thought would look great on me. Never once did she tell me I could only try on a few dresses as I was told at other places. I'm glad she recommended other styles as I ended up picking one of her recommendations, after coming back a few times to try it on. Never once during the appointment did I feel rushed as I did at other bridal stores nor did they ever try and push me to buy. My dress finally arrived and when I tried it on it seemed too snug and was concerned after I went home. I called the next day and they welcomed me back and had me try on the dress again and eased my fears as the corset was just tied to tight the day before. I am very confident that my dress will be prefect at my wedding. I am so happy that I got my wedding dress here, their professionalism, welcoming attitude really made me feel like I was getting the true bridal experience! When it was time to look at bridesmaid dresses there was no doubt I wanted to get the dress at J'aime, plus all my bridesmaids got 20% off their dress! I would highly recommend any bride check out this store!

I went to a bridal shop that was quite a bit fancier on the first go round and was disappointed by the lack of inventory. There were sooooo many options at J'aime it was amazing! I bought my dress and veil here and it all arrived much quicker than expected. I highly recommend going here!

J'aime Bridal was by far the BEST bridal shop I worked with! I knew the dress I wanted to buy as soon as I tried it on, so I shopped around for the right bridal shop to give my business to. I'm so glad I chose J'aime Bridal. Their selection for both bridal and bridesmaid dresses is amazing (so many choices!) and they are all so friendly and happy to see you. Jaime (the owner) knows me by name/voice/face and always wants to help out. When my veil order got messed up due to numbers being transposed, she rush ordered me a new veil and it arrived that week. My wedding wasn't for another good 6-7 weeks away at the time, so she didn't have to do that. Definitely go here if you're in the market for a dress!

I'm so glad I decided to make the trip down here! The shop is adorable, the lighting is perfect, and the dresses are gorgeous! I picked this place because they sold Maggie Sottero, she is my favorite designer, and I walked out with just that. I got the dress of my dreams for a great price. They even offer 20% off every bridesmaid dress purchased as well if you buy your wedding dress here, so my bridesmaids got beautiful dresses at a great price too. I would recommend J'aime to anyone looking for a beautiful dress without breaking the bank, they don't sell anything over $2,000. Jaime, the owner, is so sweet also. She's very attentive and had a lot of great tips. Love this place!

I bought my dress at J'aime Bridal. The staff there are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to finding the right dress. The employees aren't on commission and you can tell by their genuine nature. I went to 3 other local bridal shops and I was most impressed by this store. They were attentive and very efficient with helping me me try on different dresses, belts, and veils.

They are also incredibly responsive over email. Everyone should have this type of experience when dress shopping for their big day. Check them out!

There is truly no where better to find the dress of your dreams than at J'aime Bridal! All the girls who work there are helpful and friendly and Jaime herself is just as wonderful!

I brought in a pretty big group of girls to help me find my dress, and my consultant, Renee, didn't blink an eye! She let the girls all pick out different dresses for me to try on, even though they were nothing like what I had described as my "dream dress"- something that I was not expecting! I would assume that in a busy bridal shop like J'aime Bridal, the consultants would be pressed for time, but not here! Not Renee! She let us take our time and enjoy the experience.

Another thing I wasn't expecting was the price point. Having a conservative price range gave me the amazing experience of shopping based on the dresses I loved, not the dresses I could afford. This was another thing I wasn't expecting, but was so THRILLED to be able to experience!

I found my dream dress and couldn't have been more thrilled. All my guests loved it just as much as I do- I'm so thrilled that I found J'aime Bridal!

I was working with a really tight budget and I found the dress I wanted here. Although it was a sample dress it was in better condition than others I tried on. The price was outrageously cheap for such a beautiful dress.

The staff at J'aime Bridal were unbelievable! They were so amazing to work with when selecting my wedding dress. I had visited one other store prior to J'amie's and didn't find what I wanted. So, I made an appointment at J'amie's and spent 2 hours trying on dresses. Although, I spent that much time trying to make a decision, no one ever pressured me or made me feel like I was wasting their time. When you make an appointment you are only working with one staff member who dedicates their time to you. After my appointment I had a few dresses that I liked, but I did want to go elsewhere just to see what else was out there to try on. Well that was a WRONG idea! I ended up going back to J'aime's that same night and telling them the horror stories of the other places. Jamie worked with my budget and helped me find the perfect dress! I am not a bride that knew what I wanted, nor did I cry when I tried on my dress, all I wanted was a good deal. But, Jaime exceeded my expectations by helping me find a dress that I loved and that fit my price range. I also used Janis for my alterations and she was one of the nicest people that I have ever met! Jamie , the owner, and her staff assisted me with everything that I needed. I even put on my wedding dress at her store the day of my wedding and she could not have been more helpful! I highly recommend this bridal store to all of you looking for great service and beautiful dresses.

I loved working with Jaime bridal! Every time I went in they were very professional and accommodating. After my final fitting they held on to the dress for me and let me come back and try it on as many times as I needed without any problems. I have a more extensive review on YELP, but, in a nutshell ... J'aime Bridal was able to fulfill every single request I had and then some, including SKYPING my baby sister during my appointment!

I purchased my wedding dress here (it was my very first appointment, the third dress I tried on, and I didn't need to look any further) along with my bridesmaids dresses. Everything about my experience was amazing, from my initial appointment to picking up the dress after the complimentary steam.

Also, go to Janis Stobe for alterations ... she's one of their "in-house" seamstresses and she is EXCEPTIONAL in quality and value!

All-in-all, there's no secret to why I'm giving J'aime Bridal a 5-star rating because their service and value speak for itself!

I bought my dress three weeks before our wedding, due to a minor disaster with my original dress. I had one day to find the dress, otherwise I was getting married in jeans and t-shirt. J'aime Bridal was the second store we went to, without an appointment, on a busy Saturday. Jamie squeezed us in, and even worked with me personally to find the perfect gown. I left that day with a dress I LOVED at an incredible price. They even took care of the alterations for me. The dress was perfect on our wedding day, and I looked way better than I would have in my jeans.

I was able to get a VERY expensive wedding gown off the rack for just hundred. I thought that this was the type of salon where you needed to walk in with a minimum of $1,000 but that turned out not to be the case. (Although they had very expensive dresses as well.) They were accomidating with my very soon wedding as well as the fact I had no idea what I wanted.

I had a great experience working with J'aime Bridal! All of the staff that I had worked with were excellent making sure that I was getting their full attention. After a horrible experience at a Danville Bridal Store, Jamie's really impressed me with their patience while I tried on dress after dress. When It finally had it narrowed down to 2 dresses and was going to settle with the cheaper one they were able to sell me the dress that I loved for the price of the cheaper one just so that I could have my dream dress! As for my bridesmaid dresses, they had a huge selection and ordered all my girls their perfect size! If you are looking for the best bridal store in the bay, go to J'amies!! They are amazing!

J'aime Bridal provided such a great experience for buying my wedding dress. I hadn't planned to go out of town (live in Stockton, CA) but they carried a designer I'd wanted to try. J'aime Bridal was the first boutique I went to in search of my wedding dress.

I was not one of those brides who scoured through catalogs, magazines, websites, television shows in search of 'the one'.

Truthfully, I had no idea what kind of dress I wanted to wear.

After doing a few online searches, I am so pleased I made my first appointment here.

The customer service was superb and the dress selection was great! The staff was quite helpful, patient and most importantly - personable.

I felt like a fairytale princess each time I went to try on dresses!

Before I made my dress decision, I wanted to quell my curiosity and ventured to another boutique who shall remain unnamed. I was extremely disappointed with their customer service and selection.
Without question I returned to J'aime Bridal and got my dress.

I also chose to order my bridesmaid dresses through J'aime and was very satisfied!

how it is…leave no stone unturned. But, I came back to J’aime Bridal. They have a large selection, and something to suit every body type and every budget.
The staff is very patient and devotes all of their attention to you during your appointment. Even if you don’t have an appointment, they do not leave you ignored. I must have tried on twenty dresses, but I was never rushed or pressured to make a purchase. The staff also allowed me to make my dress selection special by permitting me to bring my “entourage”.
I was so happy with my dress and my experience I also had my girls come in to select bridesmaid dresses. We received exactly what we ordered, and in a timely fashion.

J’aime Bridal also has a selection of the little things you’ll need for your wedding day – veils, shoes, and jewelry.

My mom purchased my vintage inspired Maggie Satterro wedding gown and J'aime Bridal and we couldn't have been more happy. After shopping at 3 different bridal stores J'aime Bridal stood out with their customer service and beautiful selection of dresses.

It was great that she had so many styles from Maggie Satterro which ranged in price, Jaime actually picked out my dress! I also purchased my veil from her as well as 4 bridesmaids dresses.

All of our dresses arrived when expected and she uses Monika from Monika's Alterations and Apparel for alterations whom I have been going to for several years.

Jaime is very sweet and good at what she does without pressuring you like some other bridal salons. Job well done!!

I have had a wonderful experience with J'aime Bridal since my first encounter. My mom and I were on Main Street and passed by the store just by chance. We decided to just go in and look (I did not have an appointment to try on dresses). Renee helped us and she was more than willing to let me try on a few dresses right then and there!

I decided to make an appointment to come back with my aunt and sister. When we came on that day, Renee helped us again. She was so helpful in how to choose styles and she was beyond patient when I was having difficulty choosing between 2 dresses. When I made my decision, the manager was willing to sell me the sample dress so I could stay within my budget.

Since I bought my dress there, my bridesmaids were able to get a 20% discount on their dresses. Their dresses turned out beautifully and came in plenty of time before the wedding. I ordered them late, but J'aime was very helpful in assuring me they would arrive in time.

I was also impressed that when I was checking out their hair clips and jewels, they let me take the samples in the store to my hair consultation. That was so helpful- I was able to see what my hair stylist could do with all the clips, without having to buy a bunch of different ones and waste money.

I am so glad I happened upon this store. I had planned to go to David's Bridal since I had a tight budget, but J'aime certainly was within my budget range. Not to mention that they were completely professional, helpful, and sincere. I will definitely be recommending my friends to this store!

We purchased everything from J'aime Bridal. Our four kids were in the wedding, two grown children and two younger children. Three girls and a boy in all. Then of course our flower girl who couldn't have been cuter! We also rented the tuxes from J'aime Bridal. It was difficult to dress such a large age range in our children...10 years old to 22 years old. We were able to work with Jaime and find age appropriate dresses that worked for us. The tuxes we rented were not traditional black, but a beautiful chocolate brown. We loved everything and Jaime was very very helpful! The store provides great customer service and we loved the experience.

I could not recommend this store more! I learned of the shop through my three friends who purchased their wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses through Jamie. From the moment I walked in, I never felt pressured. Jamie, the shop owner helped me, and I felt like she had the perfect balance of being available without hovering. Although Jamie as always nearby and ready to help when I needed, my friend and I felt we had the space to talk freely about each dress without Jamie always having to be right there involved. At the same time, although she had allowed us to make our own judgements, by the end of the visit, it was clear that she had carefully listened and considered what is was that I liked about each dress and made great recommendations for how I could get the best of both world in the one dress I kept coming back to.

I visited her shop 3 TIMES to try on my favorite dress before purchasing it, and I got excellent, pressure-free service every time. She was very knowledgeable about the designers and was able to answer questions that other shops had to go look up, and still often couldn't answer. We were able to take pictures of the dresses to help reconsider when we got home. They fully disclosed all information about the dresses. I never felt uncomfortable telling them my price range and felt like a valued customer even though it was a lower-mid-range budget.

Although it is a smaller shop, they carried every dress I had liked from the larger ones I had visited AND the dresses were often $100-$200 LESS! They also had my shoes for $15 LESS than what I saw online and in other bridal shops!

In my search for that perfect wedding dress, I visited 5 different shops and J'aime Bridal was the only one in which I felt completely comfortable and satisfied with my experience. I highly recommend checking out J'aime Bridal!

The girls at J'aime Bridal are awesome. I nearly purchased my bridesmaid dresses here (and only purchased elsewhere because I went with a line not carried by the store) and I did purchase my hair accessories and day-of shoes here. The shoes were very reasonably priced (and comfortable - if you can believe that) - which with all the other wedding costs was a wonderful feeling. The girls helped me select the perfect hair piece from the catalogue. I was contacted both times the items came into the shop (about three weeks before my wedding, which was perfect considering that I left these two items towards the end of my long to-do list. I would highly recommend any woman consider this shop when making wedding attire purchases.

As I was looking for my dream dress I realized I could get it from a few different places, so I chose to buy it from the store who had the best customer service in my eyes!
Jaime and her staff went above and beyond in my dress buying experience!
It's true they don't have someone in their boutique that does alterations, she's actually down the street, and she preforms miracles!

I loved J'aime bridal. It is a small shop, so you aren't overwhelmed by a million dresses. What I liked best about it, though, was the fact that I could try on any dress and not have a $10,000 tag on the one I liked. The focus on reasonable prices (mostly under $2000) was a big plus for me. The staff was amazing and I wasn't worried about anything. Highly Recommended.

Hands down, the best vendor I worked with. You will NOT find a better place to get your dress in the area. Best customer service I have ever received in my life. J'aime Bridal was fantastic! They were very attentive as I tried on a myriad of dresses, and incredibly patient with my indecisiveness. I thought I knew what I was looking for, and liked all of the dresses they pulled for me, but none of them were just right. Then my bridal consultant (who was also J'aime's owner) asked me to try on a dress that was a little different than what I had been requesting- and it was perfect! I ended up with a Maggie Soretto in champagne with an ivory lace overlay. Not at all what I was expecting! I highly recommend J'aime Bridal to help you find your perfect dress.

My wife got her beautiful wedding dress here. She shopped around to a few shops across the East Bay at several price points and we realized they were all about the same. But once she found the dress she wanted, we were able to find it at the best value here.

I was very happy with my experience at J'aime Bridal. I was able to find my wedding dress on my first try! They had so many different designs and options to choose from and they were all reasonably priced. I can't tell you how many compliments I got on my dress at our wedding. J'aime bridal also offered many deals for my dress and gave me 20% off my bridemaids' dresses for getting them there. They do get extremely busy on weekends so make sure to make an appointment. I know some of my bridesmaids went in to get measured without an appointment and had to wait a while. I highly recommend J'aime Bridal!!

Great service! This was the first place I went and I was preparing myself for sticker shock but I was shocked when I got there at how great the prices were. I was able to try on dresses and pick what I liked without looking at price tags and making a decision before I even put the dress on. They let me take pictures of myself in the dress (I hear a lot of places won't let you.) The only down side for me was that I could get my dress altered on site. Otherwise, I was thrilled! Everyone went out of the way to help me and my girls. Jaime even ordered my bridesmaid dress so I could see if to be sure and only charged me cost. I have since recommended many friends to J'aime and they have all purchased their bridal attire there because of the service and the more affordable prices. One girlfriend of mine found her dress at another store and bought it from J'aime because it was $500 less!

Jaime is so great! Her boutique is small and comfortable and she has a good selection of the hottest wedding dresses available! We had our rehearsal lunch in the backyard behind her shop and it was PERFECT!!! Absolutely adorable! Also, Jaime does day-of wedding coordination and it was some of the best money I spent. J'aime Bridal was the first place that I went to when I started looking for wedding dresses. It is local and it had really high ratings. I was really happy with everything about my visit. When we first walked in, there was a chalk sign that welcomed all the brides by name, which was a nice touch, and we were greeted right away. My consultant was great, especially since it was my first time trying on dresses. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she brought me exactly those dresses. Unfortunately, I didn't like any of those dresses. My cousins actually picked out a random dress that I tried on and loved. It is really true what people say, you always like the dress you think you will not like! I loved this dress. I haven't bought my dresses but I am debating between this one and another one. My consultant let me try on different belts and even brought over bridesmaid dresses in my color so I could see what it looked like next to my dress. Overall, this place was great. I felt really welcomed by everyone, the store is beautiful and in downtown Pleasanton which is a plus and they have great dresses and accessories for a great price. If you live in or around the Tri-Valley, I highly recommend this place!

J'aime Bridal was the third bridal store I tried, and I'm so glad I did! I was able to make an appointment for about a week after I called (I wanted to come in on a busy weekend), so by that point I had had the opportunity to check out two other stores in the area and really narrow down what I was looking for (an A-line, all lace gown with a sweetheart neckline - I ended up going with a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown for my October 2013 wedding). Every associate I worked with throughout the process of selecting and ordering my wedding dress as well as my bridesmaids' dresses (for which my girls got a discount since I had ordered my own dress through them) was extremely kind and polite - even to the owner, Jaime, herself - whom I worked with on several occasions. There was no pressure to buy and they were extremely patient with me wanting to come back in 2-3 times after selecting my dress so that I could get the input of various friends and family members, as well as during the several additional trips in after that to get all of my bridesmaids fitted and confident of their choices. The entire ordering process went very smoothly, with all of the gowns even coming in a few weeks in advance of the estimated date!

I have to admit that I am one of those brides who took an insane amount of time to decide on a dress. I think that I visited a grand total was 13 stores, all around the Bay Area. Jaime's was the last one I went to before my mom and wedding party cut me off. I'm not really a girl-girl, and wearing dresses is rare for me, so it took me a bit to truly understand what I wanted from the most important dress I would ever wear.

My first appointment at Jaime was with Maureen, and she was once of the nicest and most helpful attends I had anywhere. She listened to what I wanted and made recommendations. My budget, BTW, was around $1000 and there were plenty of dresses at Jaime in my price range. I tried on the dress I ended up with early in the day, but I had seen so many dresses by that point I didn't really appreciate how well it fit and how good it looked until later. After another appointment a Jaime as well as a few more appointments at dress stores I had been at previously, it was getting down the wire and I needed to make a decision. After consulting my most trusted crew and doing some soul-searching, I decided that the Casablanca 1909 dress in Ivory from Jaime was going to be "the one". And no, I never had that "OMG, I have to have this dress" moment, really. I want to stress to other brides that are feeling bad about this that it's possible to fall in love with a dress you like AFTER you've tried it on a few times.

My only hesitation with the dress that I chose was that it didn't have a sweetheart neckline, which I thought was the most flattering on me. I was willing to see if it could be done after the fact, and told myself that I liked the dress well enough, anyway. Luckily, after trying it on AGAIN and asking if a new neckline could be done, I was told that it absolutely could! For a mere $75 extra, I could get the company to make it custom, and have the neckline I really wanted! I also got my veil that day as well, because they had one that matched the dress so perfectly.

I was pleased with the service and the 20% discount on bridesmaid dresses that I ended up getting my bridesmaid dresses there as well. They have a large selection and were as friendly and helpful to my girls as they had been to me, which I appreciated.

Since I had waited so long to choose my dress and got custom work done, it was literally down to the last three weeks before my wedding until my dress arrived. I was admittedly freaking out a bit, and called Jaime consistently to see if everything was okay I emailed as well, but found them less responsive via that method. When it did finally come in, I got it altered in two weeks and it was ready to be picked up three days before my wedding. It needed a bustle, to be taken in a bit, and sadly a hem, which cost the most. I'm not sure if it's just standard on ball gown styles to be long in case you want a huge petticoat, but my petticoat was medium-full and I still needed it hemmed an inch even though Jaime took my height. The timing was close, for sure, but Jaime calmly worked with me throughout the whole process and really came through.

Aside from me making the wedding dress process stressful my own accord, I had a really good experience with Jaime. They are friendly, helpful and truly care about finding you a dress that will look great on your wedding day. If you're just starting or still floundering like I was, give them a try!

Dress was beautiful. Bought it at a Watters trunk show and received a discount. Staff easygoing and non-pressuring. Bought veil here as well and regretted it...found a similar one online for less. Would definitely recommend this store to friends.

J’aime Bridal was the first and only place I went to buy my wedding dress. I had my appointment one year before the wedding, and honestly, I was extremely impressed! I worked with Jaime, and at first, I felt a little overwhelmed. I had never before been wedding dress shopping, and I only had a slight idea of what I was looking for. My guests and I pulled a few dresses I might like, and I tried them on. After each one, I explained to Jaime what I did and did not like. In total, I tried on six dresses. After the final pick that my guests and I had pulled, Jaime disappeared and came back with my dress, Maggie Sottero’s Emma. Jaime had listened to everything I said and managed to pull the dress that incorporated everything that I liked! I bought the dress that day! Jaime also helped me pick out a veil, which I purchased later in the process. Jaime was so helpful, and she clearly knows her products.
I went to Janis Stob at December’s Child for my alterations. She has a shop right next to J’aime Bridal. Janis was fantastic! We had three appointments total, and by the end, my dress fit perfectly and was finished with plenty of time before the wedding. Janis also helped me pick a necklace! I’m so glad I got my dress here, and I would highly recommend both businesses for wedding dress shopping and alterations.

I loved dress shopping here. They carry sizes that worked with my curvy shape and we found my dress in less than an hour! They have amazing customer service and stove to make everyone happy!

Very cute remodeled boutique... They have a great selection of dresses for affordable prices. I ordered a dress from them by Marisa. They didn't actually carry a sample of the dress I wanted, but they were able to order any design by Marisa. I was able to buy the dress from J'aime Bridal for $800 less than the boutique where I tried it on. Although they don't have their own seamstress, they referred me to a great seamstress a few blocks away. My only complaint is that they aren't responsive to emails. You need to leave them voice messages.

It had been a long day of disappointing dress shopping. My mom and I went to a few bridal shops including David's Bridal which was the WORST customer service I have ever received anywhere. On our way home I was so discouraged and my mom remembered this small bridal boutique in downtown Pleasanton which is located across the street from where my husband and I got engaged. I really didn't want to do any more shopping, but I let my mom talk me into just stopping by to look. We didn't have an appointment and there was a couple other brides there, but the staff was so sweet and even let me try on a few dresses. I was shocked!!! It was so cute and the dress shop was just the perfect atmosphere of what a boutique should be! They had so many amazing dresses that I was overwhelmed and all had such reasonable prices compared to others I have tried. My spirits were lifted!!! We made an appointment and I returned probably 4 times to try on different dresses, each time finding one that I like more. They were super flexible and accommodating. When I finally found the dress of my dreams it was part of a trunk show so it had $100 off the tag price. I went home and researched prices and theirs was the cheapest ANYWHERE the dress was $1300+ anywhere else and it was listed for $1100 at J'aime. It was slightly over my price limit, but Jamie worked with me and gave me a deal as long as I bought my bridesmaids dresses there which wasn't difficult since there were a lot to choose from. I also ordered my shoes there which were surprisingly comfortable and dyed to match my "antique" ivory dress. The only set back we had was with the flower girl dress. It came in and was much too small. So we reordered. The next one was longer, but still too tight so they reordered again only someone forgot to send the order. 3 weeks before the wedding and I didn't know what to do. The owner Jamie offered to take the dress and alter it herself (it just needed to be let out a little) at no extra cost. Come the day of everything was perfect and all worked out!!! Thanks J'aime =)

I got my wedding dress from this store back in September. They were very nice and even gave me $100 off my dress because I was considering a different dress from another store that was cheaper. When my dress arrived they helped me set up an appointment with a great alterations lady. Overall I had a much better experience here than several other bridal stores I went to, and would recommend it to anyone in the area!

I am still in love with my wedding dress from J'aime. It was priced the same at J'aime as other stores, so I know I was not overcharged. The salespeople are helpful and not too pushy. My bridesmaids also purchased their dresses from J'aime. Unfortunately, all 6 of our dresses were too tight and none of us were able to breathe comfortably in our dresses at the wedding. I don't think we were measured 100% correctly. Nonetheless, I still feel happy with my purchase and J'aime.

I had the best time picking out my dress here! The staff was so friendly and extremely helpful on what I was looking for. Each time they brought in a dress it was more and more my style! I loved how your friends and family could look around also, and bring you dresses to try on. Additionally, they let us bring in a bottle of wine to drink as we were trying on the dresses. I had a great experience here as their prices were within my budget, and they had great customer service.

I'm torn, because I did buy my wedding dress, veil, and bridesmaids' dresses here; however, every step of the way was so difficult it seemed. All of the girls working here were so helpful and sweet but as soon as I had to deal with Jaime everything went downhill. She was always short with her answers and seemed in a hurry. She messed up orders and then never admitted that it was her fault. In the end she made it better by letting me choose a new veil from a selection of new stock after she ordered the wrong veil. I just felt like I wasn't being listened to whenever I worked with Jaime but overall their stock and prices are decent, and they are willing to go out of their way to order what you need.

Large selection but not a personalized experience

If you're looking for a standard bridal shop with lots of choices and a selection of colorful, basic bridesmaid dresses, and you already know what kind of dress you're looking for, this is the place for you. Unfortunately, I was looking for a more personal experience and this was quite a disappointment for me.

I was a few minutes late to my appointment due to traffic and when I arrived there was nobody at the front to greet me. A few minutes passed as I waited and I finally walked in and asked about my appointment. The woman I asked was a little gruff with me and said my attendant would be with me shortly. Eventually she came out but she seemed distracted and didn't really explain anything to me or my friends/mother about the process (this was the second store I went to that day, as well as the second store ever for trying on dresses and I was already a little anxious). As I was looking through dresses to try on, she said things like "oh that won't fit you" or "that shape won't look right on you" which I thought was really unprofessional. Like, isn't that what clips are for? When she was helping me in the dressing room she would sort of just hand me a dress and say "just find the floor" with a laugh. At one point during the appointment when I asked her who the designer of a dress was, she had stepped away to help another customer or employee and said "I'll have to check." It seemed odd to me that she wouldn't already know. She was a very nice woman but overall she just didn't seem very knowledgeable or attentive and it made me feel unimportant. I ended up liking one of the dresses I tried on, but I was so disappointed in the customer service that I didn't want to move forward with getting any info or taking measurements.

Maybe I expected more after going to a place that was the complete opposite, but it just wasn't the experience I was hoping for.

My experience was great for my wedding dress but not so much for my bridesmaid dresses. The dresses arrived 4 weeks later than expected ( day before the wedding) and alterations were done the night before the wedding. Not something that a bride and new mom wants to worry about on the eve before her wedding day.

My experience with the shop was mixed. I thought that Jaime (the owner of the store) was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating with the whole dress process. The other women and girls who helped me out were less knowledgeable and weren't very professional. The downside to this store is that they don't offer alterations in the store, but do have nearby recommendations.

I love my dress that I ended up purchasing from J'aime Bridal. The only reason I didn't give a better review was because I had absolutely NO customer service. I didn't even have a person greet me, I had to pick all my own dresses, try them all on, and pin them all myself with a friend of mine. I love my dress and got an excellent deal on it (as it was a sample dress) so I like the shop but the service is terrible.

I didn't order my gown here but I did order accessories for my bridesmaids. I ordered in Nov and they said my items would come w/in a month. By the end of Dec I hadn't received a call. I waited after the New Year to call in and they told me it would in the end of Jan. The end of Jan rolls by and again no call. I call in to find that my order was back-ordered and it would come in a few weeks. Mind you my wedding is the first weekend of March. Well my order actually doesn't show up until the week before my wedding. Now I guess its not their fault it was back-ordered by the designer. But they could at have at least kept me updated and told me earlier so I wasn't panicking.

The first time I went in, everything was fine. They were nice and got the dress I was looking for, for a great price. I did not buy shoes or a veil from here, because I found both for extremely cheaper prices elsewhere. Then things all went down from here. My dress came in and it looked very ivory to me. Well since they did not have swatches to prove otherwise, it had to be sent back. In the mean time I ordered my own swatches, which you think they would have on hand, to match with the dress when it returned. When it came back it was the right color, but if they had the right materials on hand in the first place it would have never been sent back. Then I took it to the alterations lady, Monika, who they recommend. She did a great job, but was pricey. On the day of pick up from alterations I was to bring it back to the store to be steamed. Jamie, the owner told me to let them know when I would be bringing it back and they could have it steamed in 30 minutes. So I had called ahead about when I was coming. I get there and one girl is working and tells me she can't do it in 30 minutes, that it takes about an hour and a half because she had to help other customers as well. First of all the store was empty and second of all, call another employee. So since my mom and I drove from an hour away we went to have lunch in the mean time.
Plenty of time went by and we went back to the store. Thinking we would just be picking up the dress and were good to go, they tell us it is not finished and the steamer keeps going out. Well that is not my problem, get a new steamer, and don't tell me one thing and do another. They could have called in that hour and a half to tell us what was going on. So seeing the dress it was not even close to being done, like she just started steaming it 5 minutes before. At this point my mother was getting upset and voiced her opinions, in a nice way, which they were lucky for that. Another employee who we had never seen before told my mom that she did not appreciate her tone and to take her concerns elsewhere. REALLY?!? Who else were these concerns supposed to go to??? So anyway we left the dress to be completely steamed and were to pick it up the week of the wedding. I went in that day and the steam job was still not perfect, there were 3 major creases right in front. Instead of embarrassing the owner in front of her clients, which I could have easily done, I just took the dress and ran. I was so tired of dealing with these people at this point I did not want them to touch my dress again. If you pay a large amount for a dress, the service should be excellent, in this case it was not. So I do not recommend them nor will I ever use them for anything else.

I was so incredibly disappointed with the service, selection and attitude of this shop. Walked in excited to shop for dresses and walked out completely deflated. Knew what I was looking for and was told they didn't have many in that style because they just weren't popular styles and was shown options of dresses I didn't want. Tried the dresses on that we knew would be wrong, because we were there and were told they would look good on me. Assistant was rude and didn't help get the dress on - imagine having to step into a dress with a huge skirt and tripping, falling and just feeling awkward. Other places assist in getting the gown on - not here. Would not recommend this place if you are looking for service.

I do not believe in posting bad reviews, but this time I have no choice.
I don't care how frustrated you are with a customer, you never attack them in front of their child! We left J'aime's bridal today with my daughter scared and almost in tears after the owner went off on me because I asked the associate if I could talk to the owner about the alteration charge. Before I could say one word to her, she barked at me that I WAS going to pay the charge and that it wasn't their fault and I have been rude to her employees, this being said from the owner as she is yelling at me in front of my daughter in the dressing room. I've had many frustrations about these dresses and felt the associates have been quite indignant when I expressed my concerns. I have not once been rude, but frustrated. Nothing justifies the rant in front of my child by Jaime.
I finally had to tell Jaime to walk away from me as I could tell this was frightening to my daughter and upsetting me. My daughter was afraid to walk past her on the way out of door. I have never experienced such an unprofessional act like this before.

WORST SERVICE EVER!! If I could give NEGATIVE 5 stars I would!! Whatever you do, DO NOT go to J'aime Bridal for your wedding dress or bridesmaids dresses!!! The service here is AWFUL!! I never Yelp, and I signed up just to write this review because my experience was so HORRIBLE!

First of all my dress was ordered way too big and the person J'aime suggested to do the alternations did not do a good job... 3 days before my wedding I went for my final fitting and the dress was way too long, to the point where I was tripping all over myself. So they had to call the alternations lady in for an emergency alternation and I just had to hope she would actually get it right this last time- causing me way too much unnecessary last minute stress! As a bride you have enough to worry about 3 days before the wedding!

But the worst experience was the bridesmaid dresses I ordered from the store... the day of the wedding 3 of the 4 dresses would not zip and one even broke, to the point where my wedding coordinator had to seriously SEW the girls into their dresses. Needless to say the dresses had to be trashed after the wedding. And because of this we were delayed an hour and were not able to take pre-wedding pictures, I was pretty devastated to say the least. When Jamie was made aware of these issues, she did NOTHING to fix it or rectify the situation. These issues seriously almost ruined my wedding day and she could not have cared less. She promised to give a partial refund and then NEVER sent the refund!! I am appalled that someone like this even owns a business. This place deserves to be put out of business, so whatever you do DO NOT GO TO J'AMIE BRIDAL!!! You will regret it!!
