Awesome Experience

I’ve never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day, and I owe it all to Jae Lee and her incredible team! As someone who isn’t a huge makeup wearer, I was a bit nervous about looking too overdone, but Jae gave me the perfect natural glam that was just stunning.

Working with Jae and her team was an absolute joy. They brought so much fun and positive energy to the morning of my wedding, making the experience even more memorable. My bridal party and I looked fabulous, and everyone commented on how amazing our makeup looked.

One of the highlights was the adorable touch-up bag I received, filled with everything I needed to stay fresh throughout the day. It was such a thoughtful touch that really showed Jae’s attention to detail.

Despite my extremely sensitive skin, all the products used were high-end and caused no reactions whatsoever. My makeup lasted beautifully all day, through tears, laughter, and dancing.

I cannot recommend Jae Lee enough for any bride looking for a talented and delightful makeup artist. Thank you, Jae, for making me feel like the most beautiful version of myself on my special day!

Exactly what I was looking for

I used Jae for makeup service for my September wedding, and I cannot say enough about how happy I was with her and her staff! She listened to what I wanted and made sure I felt like myself while still looking done up. My bridesmaids, mother and mother in law also looked amazing! Jae and her staff were so great at listening to what each person wanted to feel comfortable and look their best. Highly recommend!

One Happy Bride!

I recently got married on August 8, 2020 and chose Jae and her team to do the bridal party's hair and makeup (she was recommeded to me by my photographer). In total, we had 9 ladies for hair and 7 ladies for makeup. Jae Lee (makeup artist), Sammie (hair stylist), and the two other assistants were all remarkable! Being that our wedding was during COVID, Jae had a ton of extra precautions in place (a different set of makeup brushes for each girl and other additional sanitation measures). Jae was so responsive to me from the very beginning of planning...from scheduling my trial to answering my millions of questions, she kept me feeling stress-free the entire planning process. I was worried that my makeup would wear off as the day went on since it was an August wedding and most of the events would be taking place outside, but she assured me my makeup would stay looking fresh, and she was right! The only thing I touched up throughout the day was my lipstick (she packed me a little makeup bag with necessities/extra makeup so now I have my lipstick color from my wedding to keep forever)! Jae is extremely talented and knowledgeable. She knows the latest makeup trends and listens to your personal likes/dislikes. Thank you, Jae, for making me feel so beautiful and confident on my wedding day!

Jae and her team were absolutely amazing to work with! Not only did all of the girls look stunning, but she was beyond understanding / flexible throughout the entire COVID situation (and as a bonus she's just a fun person to hang out/talk with). Best ever!

From the beginning I knew I needed Jae and her team after absolutely loving my make-up for my best friends wedding I was a bridesmaid in. She made the entire process so easy, and made my mother, who wasn't so sure about getting her make-up professionally done feel so beautiful. She uses all the best products so you're set even if you have sensitive skin. Also, you need the airbrush!! Everyone looked FLAWLESS. All the bridesmaids were so happy with the way they looked and loved having Jae and her team hang out with us while we got ready! We even got little touch up kits, which is such a smart idea! My make-up was perfect from the trial to the day of and I've never felt more beautiful. Jae listened to everything I wanted and just enhanced my trial look to make me wedding day ready. She was also extremely prompt and timed the day and each girl perfectly. You can't go wrong with Jae, book her now! :)

Amazing women doing amazing work

I cannot recommend JL Makeup Studio enough! For my wedding in October we had Samantha doing our hair and Jae for our makeup. Both women are INCREDIBLE!!! They are so talented and honestly just a great time to be around. I was really nervous going into my hair and makeup trial. I never wear makeup and I'm extremely picky over my hair, plus these were strangers and I didn't know if we would talk or sit in a weird silence, overall just very nervous. I walked in and they made me feel like we had been friends all of our lives. They are the sweetest women, which is wonderful because they are SO good at what they do. My trial went perfect and they really listened to my feedback and made the very minor changes I asked for. The morning of my wedding was honestly one of my favorite memories of the day. They made a morning that could have been filled with stress and nerves turn into hanging out with friends and getting all glammed up. Overall amazing women who are very talented, you won't go wrong booking with anyone on their team.

You MUST hire Jae!

Jae is absolutely phenomenal to work with! We are so lucky that we had her for our special day in June. My friend first used Jae's company a couple years prior, and I knew that I wanted her to do mine for my wedding. Her work is amazing - I felt like my makeup was natural and not at all overdone. From the start, she was professional and accommodating. She responded promptly, helped us figure out timing for getting ready that day, and delivered flawless makeup for my bridal party the day of my wedding, including across a range of complexions. She had an assistant with her who was equally skilled. So, what makes Jae stand out from everyone else? Other than her incredible talent, she is a genuinely warm person who is fun to be with. Jae even included a small touch-up bag for me that came in super handy - especially the lipstick sample and face mask for the next day. Jae even replied to my bridesmaid's question after the wedding about where to find more of those amazing face masks. She's thoughtful, talented, and a must-hire! Thank you for making my day perfect!

I love Jae Lee!

Jae lee was so awesome!! She answered my phone calls and emails with so many questions. I don't wear a lot of make up and neither do my bridesmaids so she definitely worked with us through the make up process. She explained everything to us and led us in a direction that would work for me and our wedding theme! My make up looked beautiful!! I felt like a princess but I didn't feel like I was overdone!! My bridesmaids also felt good! Jae Lee is amazing!!

These girls are amazing

Jae and her team were absolutely amazing to work with! From my initial inquiry, she was able to answer all questions so quickly and thoroughly. My trial went amazing, I had many different pictures, different ideas and she was able to turn create my dream look instantly. On the day of, she took her time, but was extremely efficient and everyone was done in plenty of time. She brought along Madyson to assist with make-up, and every single bridesmaid and mother looked gorgeous. Everyone got so many compliments and our make-up lasted ALL day and night!

Sammie did my hair, and I fell in love with my hair at my trial. On the day of, she had an even better idea of how to make it look / stay better, I completely trusted her and my hair looked amazing and stayed all day! Amy also came along to assist with hair. Everyone's hair lasted all day, they even offered touch ups to the girls that went earlier in the morning. And when my mother in law showed up after getting her hair done somewhere else (and was unhappy) Sammie did not hesitate to totally fix everything, and did not leave until we all felt beautiful :)

I've always been so nervous getting professional hair/make-up done because I can be picky and indecisive, but these girls were SO easy to work with and I trusted them completely, and they completely killed it. Plus we had SO much fun getting ready!!! I'd honestly recommend these guys over and over again.

I found Jae through a referral from my photographer. I scoped out her work on Instagram and was very impressed. Jae was incredibly responsive to all emails and requests and flexible when I needed to make last minute changes to the number of ladies getting their makeup done. The best way I can describe her makeup application is that she enhances your beauty in the most natural way possible. All of my ladies looking absolutely stunning without looking like they had layers of makeup on. I will always look back on my wedding pictures amazed at how beautiful I looked thanks to Jae and her team!!

Excellent Service

Jae and Madison were AWESOME! Jae did my makeup and two of my bridesmaids and Madison did three of bridesmaids makeup. They both were so professional and really listened to what each of us wanted. I went to Jae previously for my trial and I loved the environment of her studio. She was so welcoming and friendly! I really enjoyed getting to know her and that made me so excited to have her do my makeup on my wedding day. I felt that I connected with her and she really knew what my vision was for my wedding day makeup. On my wedding day, Jae and Madison were at my venue a little earlier to set up and had all 6 of us done on time. They were so punctual and really made the whole makeup experience one to remember! I would HIGHLY recommend getting your makeup done by these talented ladies!
ADVICE: If you are debating on getting a trial done, I would highly recommend getting one. You get to know Jae and you get to see what your makeup will look like the day of your wedding. You also get used to the fake eyelashes! My bridesmaids and I LOVED ours!

Red Lip Confidence

Jae is truly wonderful. She’s as funny and charming as she is talented. I was lucky enough to have three opportunities before the wedding to get my make up done with her. By the day of my wedding, she had absolutely perfected my look. She gave me the confidence to wear the bold, red lip. The photos look amazing- all because of Jae! She convinced my 70 year old, make-up hating mother to wear lashes! She was so overwhelmed by how beautiful she looked, she kept the lashes as a keepsake. My dad could not get over how different/young (and beautiful) my mom looked. Jae was such a calm, positive force to have in the room the morning of the wedding. Excellent Experience, Great Work

I booked Jae via JL Makeup Studio and Boutique for my wedding and my mother, bridesmaids and I were all so happy with her work! She was super chill but so consultative and just straight up great at what she does. She really listened to what each of us wanted, adjusted perfectly to a change I requested the day of, and even checked with me to make sure it was okay when my maid of honor asked for bright red lipstick (because it can often stand out and draw the eye away in photos). She’s also very kind and funny! I felt the prices were reasonable for what we got—full face airbrush makeup, lashes, and a sample of the lipstick we chose so we could reapply throughout the day. She was also super responsive to emails, which I really appreciated as a bride! Highly recommend!

Couldn't be happier!

Jae and her beauty team made me and my girls look beautiful on my wedding day. I couldn't have been happier with my make up on my special day! I still felt like I looked like myself but just bridal me! The atmosphere in the room with all the girls was so fun and relaxed, it really put me at ease prior to our ceremony. I am so happy my cousin recommended Jae for my wedding day makeup! She brought an assistant with her and they were able to do 9 faces of makeup in about 3 hours. It was perfect! My makeup was flawless and on a humid, 95 degree day, my makeup stayed on all night!!! Thank you Jae for the amazing experience! Jae Lee was A DREAM to work with!! I never wear makeup and was so nervous that I wouldn't look/feel like myself on my wedding day. When I went in for a trial she asked me what kind of vibe I wanted and I said an enhanced version of myself and that's exactly what I got! My make-up was GORGEOUS and made me feel so beautiful! It didn't feel heavy or cakey at all and lasted literally until the next morning even though I was dancing and sweating all night!
Her team also did makeup/hair for our wedding party of 15 girls! They did an incredible job of working with all of us and making sure each person got exactly what they wanted! They finished on-time and didn't seem stressed at all about working with such a large/rowdy group. We had so much fun with them and all felt like they were an incredible team, so glad I found her!
Jae Lee is also just a really cool person and makes you feel at ease when in her chair!
We're a queer couple and would highly recommend for other LGBT couples in the area, only good vibes here!

Jae was phenomenal! I had a few pictures that I showed to Jae, and from there she was able to perform her magic! I still looked like myself, but enhanced. It was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. My makeup looked flawless the entire day and night. Jae and her team of beauty miracle workers are an absolute must for your wedding!! This team of amazing women are not only fun to work with they were able to meet the different styles of each of my bridesmaids. These ladies covered Old Hollywood, Glam, Romantic, Bold, etc. perfectly and in such a timely manner. My mother and mother in law were beyond thrilled with their make up as well! Here comes the best part, Jae's team produces fabulous hairstyles to boot. I had 5 hair trials prior to Jae suggesting I try one of her girls. Sam is a must for hair! These ladies created each of my bridesmaids "hairstyle preference" without hesitation and flawlessly! We weren't dealing with hair falling out or bobby pin issues and everyone's make up was still picture perfect at 2:00 am! I can't say enough wonderful things about these women aside from if you are contemplating where to go for your hair and make up? Pick Jae/Lee Studio!!

Jae is a miracle worker! She did my wedding and wedding party on July 29th and I could not have been happier with the results. She made me and my bridal party look stunning! Jae was super laid back and worked around the schedule for the day. They worked so fast that I never felt pressed for time. I'm SO glad I went with Jae for my July 1 wedding! She did an amazing job, and made me feel stunning. I loved my make-up, and she went out of her way to make everything go smoothly. She showed up early at our hotel to set up, and she stayed when we had some down time to make sure everyone was taken care of. Plus, her rustic/chic-style studio is adorable! Jae is the absolute best. I am beyond pleased with how wonderful my experience with Jae was. She went above and beyond to make sure my wedding day was everything I ever dreamed of. She was so quick to respond, reliable, flexible, and easy to work with. A month before my wedding my original hair dresser backed out. As a panicked bride, I contacted Jae for help. She went above and beyond to help me find a hair stylist. She did not have to, but she went out of her way to help me in this situation which I am so thankful for. I was referred to Jae Lee after searching high and low for a makeup artist for my wedding in Pittsburgh. After living out of town for nearly 5 years, I relied heavily on others to point me in the right direction towards a wedding glam squad. Jae and her team are truly amazing! She takes all of the ideas you have (as well as the many pictures and Pinterest pins you've saved) and creates the perfect look. As someone who wears heavy makeup regularly, I needed my wedding day look to be elevated to the next level and Jae accomplished just that. The perfect glittery, glammy, smokey eye with flawless skin makeup, fluttery lashes, highlighting and contouring...the works! Jae stayed with me until that walk down the aisle, touching me up until the last moment. Her makeup techniques are beautiful, as is she on the inside and out. Jae was a dream to work with. She helped me find the exact look I was going for and accommodated any little tweak that we decided on from the trial to the wedding day. I could not have been happier with the final product. Throughout the wedding planning process she was so quick to respond, extremely kind and always helpful. She arrived on the wedding day early, and with the help of her second makeup artist (drawing a blank on the name!) were able to do makeup for 12 ladies plus myself. Her work was efficient and everyone loved the result. She even accommodated two last minute additions, and could not have been more gracious. I would recommend her to any bride in the area.

I'vee had horrible experiences in the past with wedding make up, from it's just not looking good to eye lashes falling off. I wasn't sure if I was going to do my make up for my wedding then I found Jae Lee Parades and I'm glad I decided to do it. Everyone's make up was exactly what each person wanted and looked amazing. AND everyone's eyelashes stayed on! I highly recommend.

Honestly, I had no idea where to begin my search for my wedding make-up and hair, so I just began on the Knot. I read reviews and went on a leap of faith and I am so glad that I did. Jae was nothing short of AMAZING, from my bridal trial (which I recommend) to my wedding day. She took everything I said into consideration at the trial, kept a log, and was well-prepared on my big day. She also recommended Claire for hair, and again nothing short of amazing. Their group is reliable, reasonably priced and so easy and actually fun to work with. Any event in the future I would go right back to them- and they travel!

Jae did my makeup for my engagement photos and also makeup for myself and several of my bridal party members on my wedding day. She is fantastic to work with! She really listened to each one of us and tailored our makeup to our personalities so we all ended up looking like better versions of ourselves for the big day! Plus she is very friendly and easy going which made everyone feel comfortable and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a makeup artist and you know a ton about makeup or if you're a mascara-only kind of girl, Jae is who you need for your wedding day. Not only is she knowledgable in her art and how to make you look your very best, she's reliable, responsive and organized. She will be one of the vendors reminding YOU about things; you'll never have to chase down a response from her. Jae is prompt with communication and always professional. She would never do anything half-way. She's definitely a perfectionist! For my wedding day, she arrived early and did my makeup first...at 9:00 AM. She also had 4 bridesmaids and my mother. By 11:00 PM, even after tears and dance floor sweat, my makeup and everyone else's was still flawless. She helped to keep the environment in the hotel that morning fun, energetic and timely. We ended up ahead of schedule, which was a welcomed surprise. Again, I couldn't recommend Jae enough; we're so thankful for her!

My wedding was on October 7, 2016. Jae Lee did my makeup for me on my wedding day as well as my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law. From the moment I met Jae Lee at my makeup trial I knew she was a special person and extremely passionate about her profession. She is personable, reliable, and honest. Jae Lee’s passion for makeup and her clients truly shows. She wants her clients to look flawless and in turn she makes sure that is the outcome of her work. Jae Lee follows through on her commitments, when she says she will be somewhere at a certain time, she is there at that exact time. This took away much stress, anxiety, and worrisome off of my plate being a bride and knowing I had Jae Lee to take care of my makeup on my wedding day.
My makeup schedule for myself and others on my wedding day was tight on time. Jae Lee took it upon herself to call a second makeup artist to provide services to ensure we were not rushed. She did not charge us extra and instead did this out of the kindness of her heart. My bridesmaids, mother, and photographer shared many laughs with Jae Lee. She is fun, beautiful inside and out, and extremely approachable. She does not push you to do your makeup a certain way, but will offer suggestions based on your skin tone and complexion. I will be booking Jae Lee for future events and have considered her someone that is top notch in the makeup industry.
Ladies- if you are looking for someone you can count on, is easy to talk to, and does amazing work, Jae Lee is your girl! You will not regret working with her

Jae is an awesome makeup artist and so very kind. I wasn't really sure what to expect and didn't really know exactly how I wanted my makeup done for my wedding because I never really wear makeup, but she helped me out and did my makeup way better than I ever had expected to look. My wedding was on September 17th, 2016. I booked Jae to do my makeup as well as my mother's and five other bridesmaids. It was the best decision I could have made! Jae was so flexible and was able to do my trial makeup the morning of my bridal shower. The day of the wedding she and her assistant Ali were set up and ready to go before we even got to the salon. They are both so easy going and down to earth, but still professional. They finished everyone ahead of schedule and the morning went so smooth! Our makeup was flawless-- every single girl absolutely loved their makeup and it lasted all night long. We are still getting compliments on it and I could not recommend Jae Lee Paredes enough!

I booked Jae for our October 1, 2016 wedding and it was easily one of the best decisions I made in a vendor! She was EXTREMELY easy to work with, very professional and answered any and all questions I had through the entire process. I procrastinated and waited until 2 weeks before my wedding to even have my trial, but I had nothing to worry about! I had a very vague idea of what I wanted but Jae managed to capture what was in my head perfectly. My makeup always seems to disappear and I sent her pictures that night showing her my concerns. She quickly went to work brainstorming ideas with her partner for different techniques to use the day of my wedding. On the big day she showed up early, took her time with all of my girls, including giving our 5 year old flower girl her favorite princess lip gloss to keep! Well let me tell you...my makeup was FLAWLESS. Absolutely stunning! AND it lasted until the next day! I had endless compliments on how fresh my face looked nearly 12 hours after my makeup was done! I highly recommend Jae and her company for a stress free, wonderful, bridal makeup experience!

My wedding was on August 13, 2016. I knew Jae was going to be wonderful before we even met in person. She was so unbelievably responsive over email that it actually felt more like texting. She was also incredibly accommodating to the fact that I live out of town and got me in very quickly for my trial, basically the next day, due to slight procrastination on my part. She executed seamlessly based on what I was looking for and my skin type and I booked her for my wedding day on the spot. Jae was right on time, bright and early, to take care of me, my four bridesmaids, my mom, and my now mother-in-law. She planned for plenty of time to get us all done and every single person loved the way they looked. Our makeup lasted all day. I personally have very oily skin, but I felt great all day and night. THANK YOU, Jae, for helping to make our special day that much simpler and for making me and my girls feel absolutely beautiful.

My wedding was on July 30th, 2016. Jae did my bridal makeup along with my bridesmaids and mom. I can't begin to express how special Jae is to me in such a short amount of time. Jae truly went above and beyond to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day. What makes Jae stand out from the rest is her ability to instantly make a client feel at ease. A couple months before my wedding she took it upon herself to help me find a hairstylist when the one I did have booked backed out last minute. When a vendor does something like that, you know its a match made in heaven and that they always have your back! Not only is Jae beyond talented when it comes to makeup she is also just a dream to be around. Every time I am in her presence we just have so much fun. She has a way of fitting in with anyone!

Jae did the makeup for my wedding. She did me, my maid of honor, and 3 bridesmaids, plus the anti-shine service for the groom. She came to the hotel the morning of the wedding and was on time and had all her supplies set up quickly. We were a wide range of ages and hair and complexion colorings and she easily chose the best makeup color choices for each of us. And we all looked fabulous! My makeup was done first, at 11:15 in the morning and it lasted until the wee hours of the next morning. I think I did one lipstick touch-up all night and that was at about 11 at night. We all had false lashes applied (most of us had never worn them) and they were so lightweight and were applied so perfectly that we didn't feel them at all. We also had airbrushed foundation, which didn't feel at all heavy on the skin.
Jae has such a pleasant personality that it seemed like we had all known her for a long time, when I was really the only one who had ever met her before.
As an older bride, I felt so pretty and glamorous for my wedding, thanks to Jae. I would definitely advise anyone who wants to look her best for an important occasion to give Jae a call.

Before my wedding I knew I wanted my makeup to be a reflection of myself and to look and feel perfect for my big day. I was from out of town( moving to the Pittsburgh area a little bit closer to my wedding date) so I Really had to do my research to find the right fit for me. I came across Jae, and read all her fabulous reviews and basically stalked her on social media possible before making my decision. I could not be happier with her service.. I started going before the wedding for lash extensions and got to know what a great person she is on top of doing a bomb job on my lashes and make up. The day of wedding went smoothly and my girls loved her. With all the hustle and bustle of a huge bridal party she was able to stay calm and really go with the flow and even did some last min false lashes for a couple of my girls who were not getting make up done. I would reccomend her to anyone, the prices do seem expensive but her work is literally art and it's worth every penny to get the service and treatment Jae gives to her clients!

I was in a crunch when I was a month out and didn't have a makeup artist yet!!! I reached out to several in the Pittsburgh area to see if anyone would take my request, meet my expectations and budget. I was willing to spend more to get a look and experience that I loved but with Jay Lee I didn't have to sacrifice either!!!! She was the first to respond back when I inquired of several different artist. She genuinely wanted to make sure that my needs and expectations were met and answered ALL my questions honestly and quickly! As an African American who rarely wears any makeup, I was concerned that on my wedding day the makeup would be too heavy, wouldn't match and I just wouldn't look like myself. She did not take offence when I asked if she has worked with my skin type and gladly assured me that she could accomplish the look I was going for. I arranged a trial and LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT!! Her personality matched the beauty that she enhances with her clients (nobody wants an awkward vibe lol). There was a major event going on in the city on the day of my wedding and so I was having to make some changes with her as far as time and location. She was flexible beyond measure! On my wedding day she arrived EARLY and was ready to begin applying my makeup ON TIME!!! If I could personally prefer her to any bride I would totally do it without a doubt!!! Jae Lee made my day even more special...I was beyond pleased :-)

Jae was amazing to work with - from our initial email correspondence up until the wedding day, she was super responsive and accommodating. Myself, along with my sister and mother got make-up trials about 3 months before the wedding - everyone looked fantastic! She wrote down our preferences and took pictures so she could complete everything the same on the wedding day which was refreshing - I didn't have to worry about the wedding day at all. Jae completed make up for myself, my mother, and 5 bridesmaids. She arrived early and everyone's make up looked wonderful! Air-brush lasted all day and all night. Would highly recommend!

Jae did a fantastic job with my makeup! She was extremely patient with me during the two trials before my wedding in December 2015 to ensure I got the look I was envisioning. Before my wedding I had no clue what makeup services cost as I do not wear makeup very often, so initially I thought the services were a bit expensive, but I was definitely glad I invested the money because the products she uses are of high quality and lasted all day! I highly recommend Jae Lee Paredes Makeup Artistry!!! Jennifer did my make-up for my wedding, and did a fantastic job. I have extremely sensitive skin and am very cautious about what I put on my face, she was very helpful with this. I actually use the soaps she makes (#northeastoilandsoap) every day, which has helped clear up my skin. Jennifer was very helpful and accommodating; my mother in-law had never had her makeup done before and Jennifer helped calm her nerves.

AMAZING! I am not someone who wears makeup on a regular basis and if I do it is usually mascara and blush. Even though I am a simple girl I knew for my big day I wanted to have my makeup professionally done. After meeting Jen I knew she would be the perfect person to work with. After my trial I had changed my mind on what I wanted my eye makeup to look like. I was a little nervous to bring this up in fear of being an annoying bride but once I told Jen you could tell she is very understanding and her priority is making sure your makeup is exactly how you want it to be. As most brides know there is somewhat of a timeline on the day of your wedding and it is important to stay on track. Since there were so many girls getting their makeup done I was nervous we would get set back. Jen assured me everything would work out and she was true to her word. Jen and her assistant worked so well we were done in time and the best part no one felt rushed and everyone loved there makeup! When you look back on your wedding you might think oh I wish I had done this or that but I guarantee you will be happy you went with Jae Lee Paredes Makeup!

Jae did an amazing job on my make-up for my wedding day! She also did my mother and bridesmaids make-up which looked amazing too! Jae listened to everything I wanted and came up with a perfect, natural look that was perfect for me! My make-up stayed on for the entire day/night, I couldn't believe it! HIGHLY recommend! Jennifer is incredibly talented, and I am so happy with how my makeup turned out for my wedding day! I do regularly wear makeup, but I have a pretty low-maintenance daily routine, so I didn't want to be so overly made up and unrecognizable. Jennifer gave me the perfect blend of enhanced while still looking natural. I am so happy with the end result! Also, it would be a disservice to Jennifer not to mention how unbelievably sweet, funny, and accommodating she is! Jennifer is a true professional. I knew I wanted on location hair and makeup services for my wedding (much more predictable than going to a salon!), and I really did my research on vendors. As soon as I heard from Jennifer, I knew I would be in good hands. Her portfolio is awesome - her work speaks for itself, when you see the beauty she highlights in her clients. She really made the process effortless for everyone, with various options which are thoughtfully organized (airbrush and traditional makeup, different types of lashes, customizable packages, various add-ons) to make your day as easy and stress-free as possible. Everyone’s makeup (all 13 of us!) looked flawless (I didn’t need to touch up my skin once!), and Jennifer really made the process fun. She made me feel more beautiful than I ever have! I cannot recomment Jae Lee Parades Makeup Artistry more! She was so great, showed up on time, and was one vendor I didn't have to worry about. She reached out to me to set everything up and confirm what time she should arrive and where she should be. My makeup was perfect and lasted all day. My bridesmaids originally chose not to have makeup done, but last minute had all asked her to do certain things for them and she was able to accommodate everyone without a problem.

This review is long overdue! Jae Lee is personable, professional, and extremely talented! At my initial consultation we chatted like we had known each other for years. She was even able to do a pre-wedding consultation for my mom and sister who had some concerns about their sensitive skin. She was able to accommodate an additional bridesmaid with only a few weeks notice. I should also say my wedding was on the hottest day of July. It was well over 90 degrees with what felt like 100% humidity, and my makeup still looked fabulous 14 hours after it was applied. I would recommend Jae Lee to anyone! She books fast, so don’t hesitate!

Jennifer did my makeup for my wedding this past june (june 6, 2015). I am so happy I went with her!!! I couldn't have been happier with how my make up turned out. I was very nervous about having my make up done because I can be particular about how it looks and am used to doing my own makeup. Jennifer made me feel so comfortable from the beginning. She allowed me to have an early makeup trial to try some looks out that I had been thinking about. She also answered any questions I emailed her extremely fast and was alway easy to get a hold of. Jennifer is very skilled and listens to her clients. My whole bridal party was extremely happy with her services. What I liked most was on my wedding day while she was doing my make up, Jennifer would show me each step and get my opinion. She changed what I wanted changed and had suggestions for me for what she thought would look best. Overall I couldn't have been happier that I went with Jennifer for my wedding!!

Jae Lee is phenomenal! She was suggested by my planner and I was immediately blown away by all of her beautiful brides. I loved how simple and gorgeous her style was, and I was totally in love after my trial. I appreciated how she really took the time to hear about my usual look and thoughts on what I wanted. When I came home after my trial my fiancee was amazed!

It was incredible! It was so amazing to see her work, everyone looked gorgeous. Jae Lee was so lovely and wonderful. Her combination of amazing talent and warm, calm personality was so perfect. She was sofun, it was so nice to step away from all the crazy energy of the day and just chat with her. I could not have asked for a more perfect person! Would highly recommend to any bride!

Jae was so fantastic to work with! She really knows how to make you feel like a more glamorous version of yourself which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. Jae does make up so natural and so well you don't feel like you are wearing anything. I went with the airbrush makeup with the promise it lasted and it stayed on all day and night. She did my makeup as well as my four bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law and she made each one us feel flawless. I would confidently recommend Jae to anyone!

I was so excited when another bride chose a destination wedding so that Jen would be available for mine :)

I wanted to look like me, only better and she nailed it! I didn't feel overly made up and everything stayed in place the entire day/night. I had a large bridal party and Jen was able to keep everything on track and cater to each person so that everyone loved how they looked.

I really can't recommend Jen enough! She is professional, timely, creative, and talented- pretty much the ideal package for your big day!

Jae & her assistant did an amazing job on my wedding day! They were prompt and on schedule! There were 13 of us who got our makeup done and everyone loved their application. Through the whole process from the trial leading up to the wedding day Jae was easy to work with and always responded to my emails quickly! Almost all of us got the air brush makeup, it was beautiful! Jae was able to work with everyone's personal makeup taste. I highly recommend her!

The girls and I were all thrilled with our make-up! Jae Lee was able to customize a look for everyone- from girls that do not wear make-up on a daily basis to more dramatic looks. I scheduled a trial in advance and she was happy to make a few changes to that look for the actual wedding day. I wish I needed my make-up done more often - it was fun to work with Jae Lee!

I got married in Morgantown, WV on New Years Eve. I was looking for someone willing to travel and more importantly someone with a lot of experience... because lets face it, wedding day makeup MUST be fabulous! Jae did my bridal makeup along with 8 other family members/close friends/bridesmaids. She did a such great job! I was impressed with the work I had seen on her website before I even had my trial. She didn't disappoint! She was so friendly and really knew how to make me look my best. She was also very accommodating to people I added on just weeks before my wedding day. Her makeup spread is what EVERY bride wants to see. I used the velour lashes. They looked flawless and I got SO many compliments on them and my makeup in general. I can also use the lashes a couple more times which is really neat. I absolutely LOVE how my makeup photographed, too. Not only did it look great in person, but seeing how great it looked in pictures was icing on the cake. Jae was absolutely fabulous. I contacted her over a year before my wedding and I'm so glad I did! I first met her when she did my makeup before my engagement pictures, which I loved!! Then again for my bridal preview about a year after that, and then finally my wedding day. All three occasions, Jae was professional, fun, and very knowledgeable. She makes you feel super relaxed, and she is so flexible. My bridesmaids all wanted something completely different and she accommodated without question. I knew Jae Lee was one of the best wedding vendor choices I made from the moment I received her first e-mail response. She responded to all of my (many) e-mails within 24 hours, often she responded within MINUTES. My makeup and the makeup she did for every member of my bridal party was AMAZING. I received so many compliments and was very impressed that it last through the whole night. Jae Lee was extremely flexible as well -- the number of people wanting their makeup done continued to increase as the day got closer and she was happy to accommodate those changes. I also felt she really listened to what each of my attendants wanted and their unique styles and made everyone look gorgeous. She also did makeup for my mom, my grandma and my 13-year old cousin and all three looked stunning. Jae Lee can make anyone, any age look magazine ready.

I was so impressed with her services, her responsiveness and she has a great and fun personality! I would recommend her to anyone.

Jae was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is flexible, professional, responsive, and talented. I typically don’t spend a lot of time on my makeup, and don’t normally wear a lot. On the other hand, my mom is really into makeup, and usually wears much more than I do. Jae was able to adapt to each of our needs perfectly. She spent a lot of time with my mom at our trial discussing different brands, formulas, applications, etc. With me, I gave her a few minor directions, and let her work her magic. She did such a great job with both of us. On our wedding day, she was early (when you’re on time, you’re already late, right?), kept everyone moving on time, worked wonderfully with our hair stylist, and everyone was finished early! I would absolutely recommend Jae to others, and I hope to work with her again soon!

Jae Lee is simply fantastic. She took copious notes at my trial and made sure to implement my (minor because she actually listened to me and paid attention to my various pictures of what I wanted to look like on my wedding day) suggestions on my wedding day. The make-up was very natural looking and feeling. I looked like a better version of myself, which is what I think every bride is looking for - nothing fake or over the top. On the wedding day, Jae Lee and her extremely competent assistant worked quickly while still in an extremely professional manner. She was on time (which is so helpful) and managed to make 7 bridesmaids, 4 flower girls, a mother of the bride and a very nervous bride look absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend her more.

Definitely book Jae for your wedding day!! She was so fantastic to work with and made the entire bridal party look absolutely gorgeous! She brought her assistant Ali with her and together they did my makeup, my mother's makeup and 7 of my bridesmaids. Some of my girls actually added on late because they saw how beautiful everyone looked! We got done so quick and we actually had time to spare which is rare for a wedding. They were also so fun to be around and were an awesome addition to the atmosphere getting ready. I feel lucky that she had an opening for me that day because she books up quick! My sister actually wanted to use her for her wedding in July of 2015 and she already has a wedding so don't hesitate! I hope I have a chance to have her do my makeup again :)

Jae did an AMAZING job for my wedding. I had 6 bridesmaids, and 4 flower girls and they all just loved their makeup. She also finished early, which is always nice! I got the airbrush makeup, and it literally stayed on ALL night. Not once did I have to retouch my makeup. Jae and her assistant made the morning so fun and relaxing. I emailed Jennifer while I was furiously looking for a makeup artist - I didn't realize that so many makeup professionals are booked up so quickly! She emailed me back very quickly and despite having a later booking already on the day I needed her, she offered to squeeze me in on the morning of my wedding since I was the only person receiving services. She was consistent in her communication with me, and extremely speedy in replying and making sure that we were both on the same page. She was kind and calm, and made sure that I was happy with my makeup. She also covered a tattoo for me, so if you need any airbrush services for hiding tattoos, send her an email! I loved my makeup on my wedding day, and felt glamorous while still feeling like myself. A wonderful job all around!

I met Jae several years ago when I was in the modeling industry here in Pittsburgh. She was always my favorite make up artist and when I got engaged I knew who I had to ask. I was so excited that she was available for my wedding day, and I couldn't imagine having anyone else do my makeup. Throughout the planning stages of my wedding, Jae remained in close contact with me and had a very detailed, easy to understand contract for me. I set up a trial with Jae a month or so before my wedding where she taught and showed me what the airbrush would look like on me. I knew I had to have it! On my wedding day, Jae showed up in a very timely manner and was patient with my bridal party and I throughout the entire morning. She did all of our makeup absolutely perfectly and gave us each a little packet with our lipstick color for the rest of the day. I was so excited to see that my makeup looked flawless for the entire day. Jae did an amazing job and I am, as always, so happy that I was able to work with her. Jae is amazing! She did makeup for 9 ladies on my wedding day ages ranging from 28-88 and every single one looked absolutely beautiful! Most everyone got airbrush with lashes but everyone had their own requests for Jae and her assistant which they listened to and did exactly what was requested. I encourage every bride to do the trial and take pictures later that day to see how the makeup would look in different lights. It made me realize a few minor tweaks to make for the wedding. Jae was always so quick to respond and is so professional to work with. If you are looking for a makeup artist that you can count on, Jae is your girl.

Jae was recommended to me by a friend. She did my makeup as a bridesmaid for that friend's wedding and I was blown away by what a great job she did. I emailed and booked her long before other wedding essentials because I knew she was definitely who I wanted on my wedding day. She is extremely easy to work with. She emails you back within the day that you email her with questions (even questions that were unrelated to makeup i.e. she recommended to me a spray tan place and a hairstylist for the wedding). She allows multiple forms of payment to make it really easy for everyone. On the wedding day, she showed up 10 minutes early to set up and be ready on time and finished everyone (11 ladies) with a helper in plenty of time. We never felt rushed or short on time. She does an awesome job of catering the makeup to that specific person. She can do a subtle look for those that don't wear a lot of makeup or she can do a smoky eye/more dramatic look for others. There were definitely varying people in my group (i.e. people who never wear makeup or people who wear makeup and are very specific on how it looks) and Jae was able to please all of them that day with their makeup. Everyone looked really amazing, unique, and still like themselves which is truly a challenging thing to do. All of the ladies who had their makeup done (mothers and bridesmaids and myself) were thrilled with how they looked and kept talking about what a positive experience it was. I would highly highly recommend Jae Lee for your events of any kind! If you want to look and feel your best, you will.

Jae Lee did an absolutely amazing job on my make-up, bridesmaids, and the mothers. Some people opted for airbrush, some opted for traditional and everyone looked fabulous. She came to our location and brought an assistant, who also did an amazing job. It took about 30-40 minutes per person so everyone was done with plenty of time to spare! The trial was so worth it because you got to see how you were going to look on the big day. Jae Lee is so talented and willing to work with you! I would highly recommend her for any special event in your life. I know I'll be going back to her when I need my make-up done again. I found Jae Lee online and noticed all the wonderful reviews. I contacted her and she responded to me immediately. She was so amazing. After the trial I decided I wanted my eyemakeup a little heavier. She changed it for me with no complaints and it was amazing. On the day of my wedding, she did the makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. My junior bridesmaid decided she wanted some more makeup after everyone was done and Jae Lee responded to her with no questions asked. I had 2 bridesmaids switch to the airbrush makeup and fake eyelashes. Jae was ready for whatever we wanted or needed. Our makeup was flawless! I would highly recommend anyone to Jae for their makeup. Jennifer did my makeup for my wedding on December 28, 2013. I chose Jennifer because I liked that she did the airbrush makeup, a trial session, and was not ridiculously expensive like some of the other makeup artists. Jennifer was very flexible with planning my makeup trial session and very open to hearing what kind of look I wanted for my wedding. I have to admit that I was a little picky with how I wanted my makeup, but Jennifer made my skin look flawless and beautiful! I also was nervous about the fake eyelashes, as I have never worn them before, but I was OBSESSED(!!!) with the way they looked! Jae Lee provided bridal makeup application services to me, my bridal party and mothers on my wedding day. This was my first experience using a makeup artist, and I could not have been more pleased. She and her assistant came to us at our hotel, and the whole experience was so easy and we all looked fantastic. Jae has a wealth of knowledge about how to make you look fabulous in photos, and she also does a great job of taking feedback to make sure you feel great about how you look in person as well. Wonderful! I even was tanner on my wedding day than what I was during my trial run and Jae Lee Paredes had back up shades that she was able to work out on the spot. The little "touch-up" kit was helpful and she gifted that free of charge! We worked together and I voiced something that I would do a little differently with my eyes and she did exactly what I wanted...and even better! Jae Lee came to my hotel on the morning of my wedding to do my makeup, along with my mom's and maid of honor's and we were thrilled with the results! Initially, I was resistant to having my makeup done since i am only a coat of mascara and lipstick person on a good day, but several people said that it was a must. I opted for the traditional makeup application rather than airbrushing and my makeup looked extremely natural and I could not have been happier. At the last minute, my mom switched from her original decision to go with traditional makeup and went with airbrushing and she looked beautiful. We all appreciated Jae Lee's flexibility and tolerance dealing with 3 individuals with very different makeup styles!

When I started planning my wedding, I decided I really wanted to have airbrush makeup for the wedding day. I searched for makeup artists, and found Jae Lee Parades. She was highly recommended, and had great reviews. I met her for a trial of my wedding makeup. I liked the look, but later decided maybe I should do something more dramatic. I contacted Jennifer, and she scheduled me for another trial. After the second trial, I absolutely loved the way I looked.

On the day of the wedding, Jennifer and her assistant showed up early and did my makeup along with my three bridesmaids and my mom. My babysitter didn't show up, and my baby was screaming pretty much the whole time. Jennifer was so friendly and patient. By the time she was finished, we all looked amazing!! The day after the wedding, Jennifer came to my house to do my makeup again for our day after pictures.

I love how I looked in my wedding pictures, and I am so happy I used Jae Lee Parades! The entire experience was amazing! I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of professional makeup!

I can not say enough kind words about Jen. She was recommended to me by another Makeup Artist. Jen was extremely friendly and upbeat on our initial phone call. She recommended me setting up a preview session, which I did, to ensure that I liked my wedding day look. My mom and I went to her house and she was willing to make any changes that I wanted to the makeup application, however, I didn't need any because I loved everything. On my wedding day, Jen was early to setup and was able to start on time. Myself and 4 others got their makeup and eyelashes done. At the last minute we added my Grandmother to get makeup and a bridesmaid added eyelashes. Jen willingly added the additional makeup and it was not a problem. Due to inclement weather there were a lot of things that did not go as planned for our wedding and it was so reassuring to have such a professional, talented artist to ensure that the make up for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother was one thing we would have no concerns over. During the trial Jen was attentive to my requests and very understanding of what I wanted. She is knowledgeable, well-equipped , uses fantastic products, and clearly has a natural talent for make-up artistry. I would highly recommend Jae Lee Paredes Makeup to anyone that is seeking a look that you just will not get from going to your local make up counter or salon.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing to work with!! I found her here on wedding wire, and I can certainly say that I am so happy I chose her to do my make up for me! She did an OUTSTANDING job! I have never felt so beautiful! at first I was a little hesitant with the price because I also wanted a trial done, but it was well worth it. The make up she provides you just makes your bridal look, look complete!! I was so pleased with my make up and I couldn't even thank her enough. I didn't get in touch with her until late August, beginning of September and my wedding was the 21st of September. She responded right away to me and she was already booked that day but being that my ceremony start was later, she told me she would squeeze me in and come to my hotel and do my make up for me with no problems at all! She was, and is such a nice person and she makes you feel very comfortable! She is up for anything you want, she's great and I would definitely recommend her work to everybody!!!!! :) and the make up lasted all night long!!!..and the next day!

I saw her beautiful work on her website and knew instantly that I needed to use her on my big day! The trial a month before the wedding went smooth which made me feel even more comfortable about the big day. On the wedding day she showed up on time, was so much fun to talk to and of course, did a fantastic job on everyone's makeup! I highly recommend Jae Lee!

Jae was absolutely great!! She was so easy to work with and did such a great job!! My bridesmaids and I were so happy with the final outcome and had such a fun time getting ready! I would definitely recommend Jae to anyone and work with her again in the future!

Jennifer was extremely helpful at all times with my questions and answered me right away. She did my trial for my engagement pictures since I was an out of town bride. It was a great idea because we saw things we wanted to change/add for the wedding. On the big day, she exceeded my expectations and I loved my makeup! My mother and mother in-law along with the BM's were also very happy with her work. Very professional and reliable,...one of my favorite vendors!!
