We are so happy we chose JGCC for our venue. Diandra was very responsive and helped with our numerous questions. They set up and took down all decorations (they even had a selection of tea lights, vases,etc) to choose from. We just had to pick up the next day which made it very stress free. The food was amazing and we got many compliments! The venue is gorgeous for pictures and the outside ceremony area was made specifically for weddings. We highly recommend Jacksonville Golf and Country club based on our experience on May 18, 2019.

OMG! Diandra Huffman and her team were absolutely AMAZING! From the day we toured to the day of the ceremony and the send off they went out of their way to ensure my wife and I had a stress free experience. She coordinated with all the vendors and made sure everything was to our liking. She even hooked us with a to go plate which was also delicious. Thank you so much Diandra and the JGCC crew for exceptional service!

I read great reviews about the JGCC and went with them over all the competition. We compared different venues in various cities before choosing them. Words cannot explain how awesome this experience was. Guests from around the country gave only positive feedback about their experience. Carrie, and Ashley were available throughout the evening. Adam helped blow away water from the seating area after a brief shower and wiped down the chairs. This is a working staff that share one common goal; to make the event a flawless representation of the club's majestic beauty. There could not be a better venue available anywhere. Relatives, and friends all said it was the best reception they ever attended. We chose the band that Carrie said was highly recommended (Cloud 9) who performed flawlessly. JGCC is a beautiful southern plantation, with a first rate chef, serving the pallet. My family highly recommends this venue if you demand the best for your daughter as we did ours. I salute the staff for going above and beyond the call.

The Jacksonville Golf & Country Club was a beautiful venue for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding and reception! The wedding was supposed to be outside in the garden however, it was rainy on the day of their wedding. Carrie and her team implemented "Plan B" which was inside the Country Club and it was beautiful! Many of our guests didn't even know that the wedding was to be outside because it was such a flawless transition inside, thanks to the JGCC staff! The cocktail hour and reception were perfect also with delicious food and cocktails! I highly recommend the Jacksonville Golf & Country Club for your wedding and reception!

Amazing venue. The location is absolutely beautiful, inside and out; our photographer and videographer absolutely loved the backdrop :) Our guests gushed on and on about the food - we were still hearing about the beef carving station for weeks!
And this review would not be complete without mentioning Carrie, their event coordinator. *Spectacular* She made everything even better than perfect - and she had only been given maybe a month of prep for our wedding. She's a miracle worker: was everywhere, knew everything, to questions I don't even think people had asked yet. Always ten steps ahead and yet still smiling and looking completely in control. Was asked for weeks as to where we "found" her, no one could believe that JGCC had simply let us "borrow" her for the day! Beautiful venue and exceptional staff!!!

Carrie was our wedding angel, helping us pull off the miracle of planning a wedding in two months!!! I really don't think words can describe how much it meant to our families that the entire team at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club went truly above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true.

From the stunning club itself to the exceptional food (really, believe the hype!!!) to the incredible customer service, I would recommend this venue to any bride to be. Carrie, thank you again for breathing life into our big day! You really were the glue!!!

Words cannot even explain what a perfect venue choice Jax Golf and Country Club is. Everything was more perfect than we had even imagined! The food, set up, the actual wedding, and weeks after they continued to work and make sure things were flawless. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone, for any event! They truly deserve 10 stars across the board!

Our Coordinator was Carrie and she did an awesome job of putting our image into action.
Carrie made herself available to us and we did not abuse the privilege, but we did get the answers to our questions when needed. The event was on time and the food was very good. Carrie worked feverishly with her staff to make our event a great success. I would definitely use this venue again and I would gladly recommend it to anyone who wants good food, great prices and a lovely setting.

Best outdoor ceremony site in jax if u don't want to deal with the beach sand and wind. Wonderful staff.

Jacksonville Golf and Country club was the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. While it was a little scary signing a contract right before a total renovation of the club house, it was well worth it. The newly transformed club house has dark wood and neutral coloring. The staff was wonderful and very responsive. Carrie dealt with all my questions, sometimes in a more timely manner than others (understandable with all she was dealing with during the remodel). During the day Carrie and her assistant were very responsive and attentive.

JGCC for the ceremony was wonderful-they have an area that makes you feel like you are in a garden rather than a golf course. The grand entrance of the bride from the top of the club house stairs was unique and dramatic. We were even allowed to have our dog as a part of the ceremony and keep him on the grounds until the end of the reception.

All my guests have commented on how wonderful the food was. The appetizers were a huge hit- yummy and plentiful. It was wonderful not having to worry about a thing on the wedding day- they really went above and beyond. Two days after the event I found out that the cake shop we used had forgotten to bring the kitchen cake (meaning not enough cake for everyone)- instead of worrying me or the groom, Carrie went the extra mile and had someone run down to Publx and pick up an extra cake (crisis averted-everyone got cake).

Every wedding has hiccups, but not knowing about them made our day all that more enjoyable. If you want to enjoy your day with quality food and a nice location for the ceremony/reception, I would highly recommend Jacksonville Golf and Country Club for your wedding and reception.

Carrie and her staff are great to work with. They creatively designed the candy buffet for us, which looked fantastic. The club was lovely as were the grounds, especially the outdoor gazebo/garden area. It was magical. The only downside was the carved beef station. Otherwise, a great venue.

Awesome experience for our wedding day on 10/3/15. We can't thank Carrie and her team enough for all that they did to make our day memorable and enjoyable for everyone! The guests can't stop talking about how elegant it was and professional the staff was. From cocktail hour until dessert, the food was phenomenal! It was truly the best day of our lives.
