Jackson Howard and his wife, Jenny, performed at our wedding in April 2022. They were a wonderful addition to our rehearsal, wedding, and reception; brought their own equipment; learned our unique selections and prepared many of their own; and mixed with our guests beautifully. My husband and I were 30 minutes late to our wedding ceremony. Jackson and Jenny put on an impromptu concert for our guests to pass the time, a concert my husband and I only heard about through the glowing reviews of our wedding guests. Many commented that Jackson and Jenny were the highlight of the entire day. They are tremendously easy to work with, quick to accommodate their clients’ requests, and musically gifted with a gorgeous, complementary sound. We highly recommend this duo for any event. -

Jackson Howard is an amazing guitarist and singer! He was extremely professional and responsive. We were very detailed with what songs, bars of songs, and vibes we wanted and he delivered above and beyond service! He and his wife (who also has a beautiful voice) performed for our outdoor ceremony, even setting up a tent when we pushed through the rain. Their live acoustic performance gave our ceremony such a romantic and intimate feel - I was almost in tears when the processional music started and he nailed our first kiss like it was a scene from a movie! He worked seamlessly and professionally with our coordinator, venue, and officiant. Originally, I was debating the cost of live performers, but Jackson's services were not a substantial deviation from our initial budget. I'm so happy we splurged a little because the value from start to finish was beyond what we could have expected. We will always cherish the memories he helped create for our special day! Hire Jackson to be your wedding or private event musician and DJ!!! -

Jackson was fantastic for our wedding. He provided live guitar and vocals (duet with his wife) for our ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ’d through a playlist for our reception. I sent him songs I liked on Spotify and he was able to learn them by ear for the ceremony. He even allowed my sister to sing a song for the ceremony and accompanied her and did backup vocals. 10/10 recommend. Many guests mentioned that the music was a highlight for them. -

Jenny and Jackson
Jenny and Jackson are outstanding musicians and their warm and close relationship with each other adds to the intimacy of the occasion. Their song collection is broad and varied, and they perform every song with care and professionalism. They are truly a pleasure to work with and listen to as their music and talent touch my heart. I highly recommend them for your event. -

Jackson is insanely talented. Both Jackson and Jenny, his wife + musical partner, have phenomenal voices. They are both such fantastic musicians, and having their talents at our May 2025 wedding made it even more special.
Jackson was so easy to work with to make our dream ceremony and cocktail hour come to life. We told him our ceremony songs, and he’s such a professional that that was essentially the only direction we needed to give him! He scouted out the venue ahead of time, was prepared for anything, and made sure our wedding went without a hitch. His excellent taste in music also ensured our cocktail hour songs were on point.
We had temperamental weather for our wedding day, and Jackson was undeterred. When the sun came out just in time for our ceremony, Jackson and Jenny played “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles. So many of our guests have talked about that exact magical moment in our day, and how the music made it so much more special.
After our ceremony, while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour, my husband and I took a moment to sit in the bridal suite and enjoy a drink and some appetizers. We could hear Jackson and Jenny right below our window, and we just wanted to soak in the moment and listen to them play.
There are so many beautiful moments that Jackson and Jenny provided the perfect soundtrack for. We are so happy that they were a part of our wedding, and highly recommend their artistry and professionalism! -

We were very happy with our whole experience with Jackson. He was very responsive and professional throughout the whole process. He added such a nice touch to our post elopement celebration and performed wonderfully! He was also super flexible, he played for an extra half hour for us , cause the venue ( restaurant) let us stay for longer than originally planned. Thank you so much Jackson! -

Jackson and his partner were absolutely perfect. From our initial contact to the end of our wedding reception, they were a class act and easy to work with.
My fiancé and I wanted a particular song played during our first dance and we presented this to Jackson. Without hesitation, he committed to learning this song with his partner and when it came time to perform, they knocked it out of the park. We'll be forever grateful for that moment alone.
Finally, we had our wedding guests approaching us all night telling us how much they enjoyed the musical performance we chose. To know that our guests enjoyed the music as much as we did really meant a lot to us.
If you're looking to have a more mature sound to your wedding vs a traditional DJ, Jackson Howard is your man.

Jackson and Jenny (his vocalist partner and fiancée! So many happy wishes for them!) were an absolute delight. Leading up to the wedding Jackson was so responsive and helpful. On the day of, while we had many mishaps (not through any fault of the vendors- wind, extra events happening, etc.) I never heard from Jackson once. Now that may sound like a bad thing but the last thing you want the day of is to have to coordinate! They set up for the ceremony perfectly, moved over to cocktail hour and preformed like the stars they are the entire time! Highly highly recommend them again! So many compliments from our guests on how lovely they were start to finish!Jackson Howard's reply:

Jackson was incredible on our wedding day, he played our ceremony and cocktail hour and everyone remarked how wonderful he was! He was very talented, friendly and upbeat. He made our day so memorable and even went along with a surprise rendition of a song for me and my husband requested by my father in law. He went with the flow, was so kind to us, the vendors and our guests and I couldn’t recommend him more. Our day would have never been so perfect without him, we just can’t stop talking about how great he was. Hire Jackson and he will take good care of you! If I ever need a musician again for any event, I’ll be phoning Jackson for sure. Thank you Jackson!! -

Exceeds Expectations
Jackson’s music was the thing that “pulled it all together” for my daughter’s intimate wedding ceremony and reception. The quality and music selections were top-notch. Almost as important when juggling multiple tasks, he is low maintenance and dealing with him was a pleasure. -

Jackson provided music for our wedding this September. We had a fairly small wedding in a tight space and so opted for a solo musician. We could not have done better than Jackson. He plays beautifully; all of our guests (including some serious music aficionados) praised Jackson's skill and song selection. He is also easygoing and professional. He offered to learn new songs for our processional/first dances and performed them expertly. He was great to work with leading up to the event and helped us stick to our schedule. Couldn't recommend Jackson highly enough. -

We had a wonderful experience with Jackson; we had a little extra budget at the last moment and decided to go with live music something like a month or two out. Despite the short lead time he learned our pieces perfectly, and the ceremony was magic. -

Could not recommend enough
We used Jackson for our 10/24/2020 wedding for live ceremony and cocktail acoustics and could not recommend him enough! People came up to us throughout and said how great he was. It was such a perfect way to incorporate live music without having a full band. Thanks Jackson! -

Mr. Jackson Howard sang at my daughter’s wedding and reception and did a phenomenal job.
He was professional and a pleasure to work with.
He has a magnificent voice and is skilled with his guitar playing.
Many of our guests complemented us on the music.
I could not have asked for a better performance.

So talented, and amazing to work with!
Jackson was such a pleasure to work with! He provided great entertainment during the ceremony and cocktail hour of my September wedding. From the beginning, he was easy to communicate with and always very accommodating. I requested a specific song to be played as I walked down the aisle, and without any hesitation Jackson agreed to learn how to play it, and performed it beautifully the day of my wedding. Despite all the emotions that were running through my head, I remember hearing him sing the song as I walked down the aisle and thinking that is perfectly capped off the moment. His set was also a wonderful addition to my cocktail hour, and I received a lot of compliments about him from my guests. Without a doubt, I would recommend hiring Jackson for your wedding, or any other event! He is a talented artist and a great person to work with! -

Lyndsie Sent on 07/06/2018If we had to go back and start wedding planning all over again, my husband and I would - without ANY hesitation - choose Jackson Howard all over again!
From the very beginning, Jackson was a pleasure to work with. I had no idea what I was doing when planning a wedding, especially when it came to ceremony music. Jackson was patient and understanding, using his previous experience to answer all of my questions. When I wasn't sure of how to do the processional, Jackson offered helpful suggestions and encouraged me to choose what I liked best. Jackson was also willing to learn new songs (e.g., Dave Barnes' "Good Day to Marry You") that my husband and I really wanted to incorporate into our special day.
Jackson also played for about 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, as the guests were arriving. He selected all of those songs on his own (I trusted him!), and SO many of our guests came up to us after the ceremony (even a week later), telling us how impressed they were with Jackson. My dad even posted on Facebook a few days after the wedding about how much he loved Jackson's rendition of Jim Croce's Time in a Bottle. :)
Jackson Howard is a fantastic musician and, if possible, an even better human being, and the newly-minted Erdy family gives him our highest recommendation! -
