Jackie was a delight in every way! She was easy to schedule with and very accommodating working with our busy schedule.
She was punctual, professional, proficient and so very pleasant!
I was a bundle of nerves and when she showed up it was such a calming fun experience. In the comfort of my suite, together we figured out what hairstyle I wanted and she went to work and created it perfectly. Full of ideas and suggestions, but in no way pushy or overbearing. She really cares about giving you exactly what YOU want for your special day!
Because we elope to Maui, with no friends or family with us and because we didn't want to see each other until our ceremony, I had no one to help me and to my dress. I had planned on asking a housekeeper at the hotel or someone at the front desk, but as soon as I had my hair done Jackie asked me if I needed help getting dressed!!! See very kindly helped me button buttons and zip up zippers and when all was done she was on her way and I was left with calm nerves and a beautiful hairstyle.
It was very windy on the beach when the time for the ceremony arrived and the hairstyle held up beautifully. She had also fixed my veil so well, it never faltered once. The beautiful curls and flowers survived my removing the veil after the ceremony and then held the style all night through dinner and later.
I could not ask for a better experience than the one I had with Jackie and I would use her again in an instant. I'm hoping to hire her again when we go back to renew our vows 🩷

Jacki was awesome. I am not a hair or makeup person. I told her what I wanted and she nailed it. Made my wedding day perfect. She came to our hotel, got me ready, fit in like she was family. Wedding hair and makeup at the resort!
Jackie was awesome! We had a great time laughing and visiting while she did my hair and makeup. I initially thought of doing my own hair and makeup, but I’m so glad I went with Jackie. She made sure my beach waves would hold (I have thin hair that won’t hold curls) and makeup didn’t smear or wash off! It was like magic! The makeup lasted well into the night until I washed my face. Jackie was amazing and helped make our beach wedding perfect. She came to do my hair and makeup at our rented condo, where all the girls gathered to hang out while she worked. She was fun, easy-going but efficient. I do not wear much makeup normally, so she knew just how to do my makeup to make the most of the photos while still keeping my look natural. I brought some hair accessories, not knowing if they would work, and she incorporated them flawlessly. THE BEST. Finally a Maui Bride!
I was supposed to get married in Maui in June of 2020…the universe had other plans! We ended up getting married at the courthouse that summer, but I was so sad to not have my dream beach wedding. For our 3 year wedding anniversary we finally made it to Maui and “recreated” our wedding with family. Jacqueline did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and made the whole process fun and stress free. I really wanted a hair style that would show off the back of my dress and she nailed it! I liked that she incorporated my sample photos and put her own unique twist on it. I really liked that she checked in with me a bunch during the hair and makeup process to make sure she was going in the direction I wanted and asking my opinions throughout. She was really quick to respond to messages and very personable and professional. My sister, mom, and I had lots of fun hanging out with her during. I would highly recommend hiring Jacqueline!

Best wedding hair EVER!
This was my first time to Maui and being unfamiliar with the area I was very nervous about finding someone reputable to style my hair. I also have extensions and needed someone with experience styling hair that could withstand Maui's wind and not show my wefts. Fortunately my lucky stars aligned and I found Jackie! I sent her some wish pics so she had an idea of what I was looking for (which were all different by the way--- I couldn't make up my mind and wanted something in between), set my appt which was quick and easy, and she travelled to me!! I loved the convenience of her coming me! I was worried I was going to have to go into a salon and run the risk of being late or waiting for my appt but nope! We talked more about the wish pics and accessories she would use. I wanted a more simple but elegant and classy bohemian style look. I'm so happy I went with her accessory recommendation and the plan for styling! My hair came out perfect. So gorgeous! She finished earlier than planned and I couldn't be more happy with my experience with Jackie. Her professionalism, travelling to me, putting my hair vision to life, and her efficiency in time wad amazing. Don't regret it- book with Jackie if you want the best for your big day or any other occasion! Jackie did my hair and makeup for my wedding and was super easy to talk with while she was in my condo. I showed her a picture of how i wanted my hair and she was able to make it happen. As well, her makeup application was very nice. Jackie is truly amazing and i was lucky to have her help me on my big day!

Jackie was very prompt with all of our conversations and focused on what I wanted. The results were amazing and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! She was very fun and easy to work with and even willing to drive an hour to my location and meet at 5:30am! Her prices for hair and makeup, compared to others, was very reasonable. So Easy to Work With
Jackie was amazing! She’s extremely friendly, and personable. She listened to what my “normal style” was and took it up just enough of a notch to make it wedding worthy, but not outside of my casual style. She came to my hotel room, arrived right on time, finished hair and makeup on time, and even helped me get into my dress, as I was there alone. I received several compliments on my hair throughout the day as well.

Wedding Morning hair/makeup was awesome
So my wedding was at 9:30 in the morning and I was staying in Lahaina, and Jackie came and drove I think about 90 minutes just to do my hair. She was so easy to work with and she was always asking how I liked how my makeup or if there was any ideas that I wanted to do with my hair. She definitely kept my mind at ease while I was getting ready for my big day!

Jackie was amazing and fun! I was anxious and nervous about the wedding, but she made me feel relaxed. She came to my room where I could be comfortable in my own setting. She was professional, asking me questions I didn’t even think about regarding my hair and makeup, describing everything she was doing, stopping throughout the process to check in with me on how everything was looking, and with just a picture, she was able to make my hair exactly how I wanted. I was very lucky to have her, especially having planned the wedding across an ocean through email and text.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jackie. She did my hair and makeup for a beach wedding and it was amazing! From the minute she walked in my room smiling and happy to be there, even earlier than scheduled, she made me feel special, and totally at ease. She loves what she does, and cares so much about how the bride wants to look that day. She sizes up your personality as well as your hair and face, and know exactly what to do and how to make you happy with the results. I did not think anyone could make me look beautiful- but she did! We discussed how I wanted to look, what she suggested, and then she performed magic. It was very windy on the beach, but my hair blew perfectly- just like you see in the movies, and my makeup was gorgeous. She is a total pro, and an absolute lovely person to have work with you. I was just amazed at how she made me look like me ( natural, with curly hair) but way way better than I usually do. Honestly, I never expected such an amazing experience. If you need makeup and or hair done in Maui, look no further--she is the absolute best you could ever imagine. I am so grateful to her for making me look so lovely.

Jackie was so great helping to make my wedding day perfect. I felt extremely comfortable right away and I was able to sit back and relax while she went to work in making my vision a reality. She was able to create such a beautiful and intricate mermaid braid that was better than any of the photos I brought and adding little touches that made it unique. I had Jackie do my hair and makeup when my husband and I got married in Maui in May of 2016. She is such a delight to work with! Not only does she care about how you wish to look for your day, but also takes the trade winds into account for your hair, and will help you decide on a style for an unplanned updo, should the winds make it necessary. I loved her so much, I had her do my hair and makeup for our 1 year Anniversary trip to Lahaina for portrait photos we had taken when we stayed at Honua Kai! Jackie was awesome! She was friendly, professional and helped me to feel at ease on my big day (3/14/17). Jackie was really easy to talk to – which was a big relief since I had only a few email/text exchanges with her. She did an awesome job on my makeup and hair (exactly what I was looking for)!
Also - I am a stickler for facts, so please know that Jackie has been doing hair/makeup for a long time (both in salon setting and now pretty much exclusively in-room services). I mention this because when I was looking for in-room services, experience was pretty much all I could go off of (I live in Chicago). So I was super happy to hear not only does she have a ton of experience, but she does these services all the time.
Lastly, since my husband and I eloped in Maui (no family or friends present), Jackie helped me take a "first peek" video on my cell phone before we headed to the beach. I was very appreciative of it since that was something we shared with friends/family after we told them.

Jackie is so amazing. She showed up right on time, which is a must for an early morning wedding. She was very receptive to my vague descriptions of what I wanted ("natural makeup... but also red lipstick and make it pop?"). She was very flexible with integrating my headgear in with my hair. I'm in love with the way I look in the wedding photos -- I looked like me, but like an enhanced and flawless version of me. My husband and I are planning to renew our vows in ten years. Needless to say, Jackie is the first person I'm looking up for hair/makeup. She is simply spectacular.

Jackie was punctual, friendly and did exactly what I wanted to my hair. She even stopped and bought me a flower last minute. The make up was outstanding and stayed on so well!. I was nervous not being able to meet her first and do a dry run with hair and make up but she far exceeded my expectations. I think we even got done a bit early. With a peaceful wedding morning. I got to sit and look out at the ocean( have a cocktail and just chilled.

Jackie made me look SOOOO beautiful on my special day!!! She's fantastic!!! I just couldn't have been any happier. My husband and I got married on a Maui beach, and she came to our condo and did my hair and makeup. She has an awesome personality that put me at ease right away, and years of experience making brides look AMAZING. She did a fabulous updo for me that looked absolutely stunning. I wasn't sure what I wanted for makeup, but she suggested colors that really made my eyes pop. We now have many beautiful photos to share with family and friends, and thanks to Jackie, my look was absolutely perfect!! I feel so lucky that she was recommended to me.

Maui Weddings from the Heart connected me with Jackie to do my hair and makeup for my beach wedding. She arrived right on time (if not a tad early which was fine by me) to my hotel. I had a vague idea of how I wanted my hair done and Jackie took it from there and made my hair look great. She also did my makeup and made me stand out and feel especially beautiful for my big day. Her bubbly personality and great tips made the time go by quickly. Jackie is exceptional, professional, and well-prepared. Definitely a fantastic make-up and hairstylist who will make you look gorgeous for your special day.

Jackie contacted me the day after we arrived. I was not choosey on my flower colors so she found some that were perfect. Jackie was super nice and made the experience a wonderful one. My makeup was flawless and my hair looked natural, but stayed in place on the windy beach. I received many compliments. Definitely would recommend Jackie for your special day! Mahalo again Jackie!

Jackie did a fantastic job on my makeup for my wedding. She exceeded my expectations. My original makeup artist canceled on me days before the wedding and Jackie fit me in to her schedule. I was nervous about having someone do my makeup for my big day without a trial run. Jackie calmed my fears and really understood the look I wanted for my wedding. I would highly recommend her for your wedding.

Jackie was absolutely amazing!!! My fiancé and I went to Hawaii solo to get married and Jackie not only did an amazing job on my hair and makeup but she got me in my wedding dress!!! Did I mention it was a corset! I would HIGHLY recommend Jackie again and again!!

Jackie was awesome! She came to the hotel that we were staying at to do both my sister and her wife's hair and makeup for their wedding. Even in the heat and humidity (we were all pouring sweat!) the hair and makeup held up and the girls looked great! Thank you so much to Jackie for making them look amazing!
