Janine is very professional. She made sure that we were happy with everything and even when we wanted to change things she went out of her way to make sure it was perfect. Everyone from our wedding said how great the music was and no one ever left the dance floor. We had a great time with her, I highly recommend using her affordable service. -

Janine was hands down the most amazing DJ to work with. She really cares about making sure tour event is what you want it to be. She gives helpful suggestions when asked/needed, but always supports your vision. She is a total sweetheart and would highly recommend anyone working with her! A million stars! -

When we arrived to the venue, I told my coordinator that the DJ should be setting up shortly and she said "Oh, she's been here. She's already set up." That sums up everything anyone needs to know. Janine came up to introduce herself right after, reviewed the plan we had discussed in our phone calls, and let us know what to expect. The music for our ceremony and reception went exactly as expected and requested and Janine checked in frequently throughout the evening; She felt like a member of our invited guests, not a just vendor. My wife and I have talked several times since our wedding about how happy we were with our decision to hire J9 to do the music for our wedding. From the first emails to the phone consultations, Janine was professional and committed to making our day exactly what we wanted even down to committing to bilingual announcements for our Cuban-American celebration. Every detail we wanted was achieved without outrageous pricing. We love her and would recommend her to anyone getting married in the Miami/Florida Keys area. 10/10 -

Janine is amazing!! Not only is she a bomb.com DJ but she’s the sweetest person and so easy to talk to. I was so excited to have found a woman DJ and thought it was the coolest thing EVER!! Janine let me create my own playlist and helped me with my timeline for the evening. I would go up to the DJ booth several times and ask her to play a specific song (hoping I wasn’t bothering her lol) but I wasn’t and she didn’t mind at all. She played every song I requested. We danced the night away and I wish I could relive it all over again. I didn’t want the night to end. The music and dancing was by far my favorite part of the night. My family and I had a blast and my husband and I are so honored that we got to have Janine as our DJ for such a special day. Janine you are truly a delight. ❤️ We couldn’t have picked a more perfect person to be our DJ! -

Janine was the best DJ ever she had all of our guests dancing and I was told by multiple people that “it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to.” She made the best playlist for the kind of music my friend and family liked. My ceremony music was beautiful and I felt like a princess. Also she is such a kind, sweet person and made me feel so special. Thank you Janine for making my day AMAZING! -

If you are looking for a DJ for your event, DJ9 Sound and Lighting should be your choice! They were the DJ at our wedding on 12/10/22 and they were perfect! From the very first contact, Janine was so easy to work with, and she had great communication and ideas throughout the entire process. Not only was our ceremony and reception music perfectly timed, but we even created our playlists and got to choose the versions of our songs to make it tailored to exactly what we were looking for. They kept the party going throughout the night and ensured we all had a great time! Definitely choose DJ9 Sounds for your event, you won’t be disappointed!

We loved having Janine at our wedding with music. They were extremely personable as well as the right personality type for our personal taste of what we had in mind. I know J9 does awesome nighttime weddings but they killed it for the daytime wedding vibe. Once the party started, she did a great job of keeping us on the dance floor. Learned lesson: Do yourself the favor and be specific, give the music choices instead of “vibes” — I definitely missed that opportunity, not due to the DJ either, this sweet company touched base a few times to help me get my ish together. Setting my negligence aside, I seriously can’t thank J9 enough. They were one of the few stand out vendors we had for the day. Thank you again Janine!!! -

Janine is so kind and she made our day outstanding. We got a little bit of rain that day so our wedding got delayed a little bit and she worked with me to get all our events in. She played amazing music and everyone had a great time! -

Janine was wonderful to work with every step of the way. She was an excellent communicator ahead of the wedding, she was transparent about pricing and had a very formal written out contract for us. Her service was excellent, she provided great recommendations for the different ceremonial songs, she allowed us incorporate our own play lists with her own recommendations, she was flexible with our schedule even was we ran behind on our wedding day, she accommodated guests song requests, had great communication every step of the way before during and after the ceremony and reception. Couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience. -

Absolutely the best DJ team for our wedding!! They were on top of everything and I had some specific songs and events that had to be played and emceed at certain times. Perfect!! And we were outside for part of the event, had to come inside early due a storm; no problems with the transition. They planned ahead. Communicated with me for very detail, so easy and fun to work with! Fabulous night and I wouldn’t have changed a thing!! In my opinion, if you use their service, you will be very pleased! -

Gets the party going!
I am a fellow wedding vendor and I've had the pleasure of working with J9 sound and lighting twice now. Each time she really knew how to throw a party! She doesn't interfere by talking too much, and instead mixes tracks and reads the room really well. You know when it's a good DJ when the vendors want to dance all night as well! Would highly recommend J9 sound and lighting for any weddings or events! -
