Jessi captured our wedding day even more beautifully than we could have ever imagined! She was a surprise for our guests, most who had never heard of or seen a live wedding painter. They were simply entranced with her the enter time and she provided amazing entertainment for them as they watched her create art! She is the number one thing from our wedding that guests will not stop talking about - we are SO glad that we had her there! -

Talented Live Painter!
Jessi is an absolutely amazing artist. She captured our day beautifully and the painting is so realistic! Our guests enjoyed watching her process from start to finish and we loved her time lapse video of the project after the wedding. She was also very easy to work with leading up to the day. We will treasure the painting forever! -

If you are considering getting a live painter for your wedding, seriously look no further. I did a lot of research and not only is Jessi insanely talented, her pricing is extremely fair. My guests had an amazing time watching her paint and she was engaging with us and our guests. Truly we were blown away and so were our guests. She dressed appropriately for a wedding and was accommodating with what we wanted captured. Jessi was truly a gem and having her at the wedding was one of the best decisions I made. -

I surprised my husband by hiring Jessi to paint our first dance, live at our wedding! This turned out to be the greatest gift we could have ever asked for. We were married at The Baltimore Museum of Art, so having a live painter really tied into our theme. Our guests had never seen a live painter before, and they were absolutely blown away! I continue to receive compliments on how cool it was that we had a painter, and how talented Jessi is! My husband and I are so in love with our painting and we can't believe how realistic it looks. Jessi did a phenomenal job. She was amazing to work with -- responsive, kind, and enthusiastic. I would recommend Jessi to anyone wanting to make their day that much more special! We look forward to passing this painting down in our family as an heirloom and treasuring it forever. -

Jennifer was beyond amazing! Our live painting came out so pretty. It was tough chosing a live wedding painter as a lot of them the people painted were often odd looking not quite true to real life. One of my favorite parts about Jennifer is she's able to capture a more true look of whoever she's painting. There wasn't a single guest that didn't love watching her paint. People are still talking about how cool and nice the painting came out. I honestly couldn't recommend her enough she was great to work with -

There truly aren’t enough words to describe how talented Jessi is. If you’re looking for a live wedding painter, we highly highly recommend Jessi. I think she left every single one of our wedding guests speechless as she was painting our first dance all night. So many of our guests came up to us to say how incredible the painting was coming out and how it looked exactly like my husband and I. Some of my guests are still raving about it 3 months later to us! Pictures and videos are great to have, but having a painting is so so special and a great addition to our living room, I literally stare at it in awe all the time. Jessi was extremely responsive the whole process and easy to work with. Our wedding was in Rhode Island and she traveled to us. The finished canvas was done in under 2 months and shipped to us very securely. You seriously cannot go wrong with having Jessi as your live wedding painter! -

Jessi is Amazing!
Jessi live painted at our wedding on September 17, 2022. This was a gift to my husband and I from my sister! We requested that she paint a scene from our ceremony. She arrived prior to our start to get the background scenery and continued to paint during the reception. Our guests loved the painting and getting to see the progression throughout the evening. She was very patient with a million people asking her questions and taking photos as she painted and was such a pleasure to talk to! Jessi posted progress pictures and videos on Instagram which allowed us to share with those who could not attend the wedding. Our painting was shipped to us cross country and came in beautiful condition. The painting is so life like! People can tell that it is them in the crowd when they look at it. This was such a unique gift and I would recommend Jessi to anyone! -

The Talk of our Wedding!
Jessi was absolutely amazing! From the communication prior to the wedding, flexibility of our requests, creativity (adding our dogs to the painting who weren't at the wedding), and personality (interacting with our guests on the wedding day), we could not have asked for a better experience. The painting turned out absolutely amazing! It hangs in our house as a focal point and everyone provides compliments. -

WOW! When I saw a live painter on TikTok I knew I wanted one at my wedding. I started looking for local artists and Jessi and her work absolutely blew me away. I reached out to her and almost booked her when my husband stepped in and said we needed to cut back somewhere and this was the place. HOWEVER, little did we know, my sister had seen a live painter on TikTok and looked into local live painters and found Jessi. My sister and parents were also blown away by Jessi’s work and hired her as a surprise. If multiple parties trying to hire Jessi for the same event doesn’t speak to her talent, I don’t know what does! Per my sister and parents and coordinator, Jessi was super accommodating and easy to work with. She was the most complimented part of our wedding day and for months after, our guests kept saying what an awesome addition Jessi was to our reception. The painting is a perfect portrayal of our first dance and actually looks like us! The turn around time on the canvas was so fast and we couldn’t believe how quickly we received the finished product. We get compliments every time people come into our home on the painting. We can’t thank Jessi enough! Additionally, two friends of ours have hired her for their weddings too after seeing her work! Don’t hesitate and book Jessi immediately! -

Jessi was absolutely incredible. Very easy to work with in advance and coordinate with the day of the wedding. She showed up on time, did all of her pre work with the venue and then did an amazing job capturing our first dance. Our guests loved watching her work and interacting with her. She captured our moment perfectly and now we have the greatest keepsake of the day. -

My husband and I made the last minute decision to have a live wedding painter and it was one of the best decisions we made. I have contracted Ms. Laurence three times in the past 18 months (and have plans to utilize her, for numerous upcoming jobs).
In all three occasions, the painting's were given as wedding gifts, and in all three occasions, the recipients cried after receiving them. The emotion and love captured in Jessica's work, is unprecedented. This is to be expected however; for Jessica approached each commissioned piece, in a methodical manner, consisting of numerous discussions in an effort to further ensure that as a collaborative team, we had the necessary plan in place to capture the desired results.
I myself am a complete novice, & initially was overwhelmed, before reaching out to Jessica, as I had not the slightest clue about various paints, methods, and techniques that go into a commissioned piece. Through her genuine, patient, and caring personality and approach, we were able to target what it was, I was looking for. From there, Jessica used various milestones, so to speak, to update me on the progress, and to more importantly, gather my input, along the way. In short, I knew what her vision was (through rough-drafting), and was able to offer input beforehand, and throughout the entire process.
Jessica’s once in a lifetime talent, along with her patient and sincere personality, truly make her a can’t miss painter, for any and all visions & projects, including those of the utmost importance. I could not possibly recommend her with an ounce more of confidence, trust, or genuineness!

We love our wedding painting!
We LOVE our live event wedding painting by Jessi. She asked us about our style and preferences beforehand, so that on the big day she worked quietly & efficiently. Her easel & supplies didn't take up much space & she was welcoming to our guests who wanted to watch her work. At the end of our wedding she gave us our painting & it was perfect! We get compliments on it all the time. She was professional, personable, no drama, and gave us our favorite memento from our wedding. 100% recommend! -
