Our Guests Called It the Best Wedding They’ve Ever Been To!
We had the absolute best experience with our wedding DJ. From start to finish, he brought incredible energy and kept the vibe high all night long. One of the most common compliments we have received from our wedding is that it was the most fun wedding our guests have ever been to and a huge part of that is thanks to him.
The dance floor was packed the entire evening, which is something we honestly did not expect with some of our guests who do not usually dance. Even my father in law and several family members who typically sit out were out on the dance floor having the time of their lives.
He did such a great job reading the crowd, mixing songs perfectly, and keeping everything flowing seamlessly. Every transition felt intentional and kept the energy going without ever dropping off.
We are so grateful we chose him. He truly helped make our wedding unforgettable. If you are looking for a DJ who knows how to create an amazing high energy celebration where everyone actually dances and has fun, J. Kelly Productions is the one!

More than a DJ
We hired Jacob in June of 2020 and he was phenomenal. Jacob took lead on the entire flow of our wedding and kept the energy high all night. He went far beyond “just a DJ” and helped us plan out each step of our evening. He even had my 80y/o old grandfather dancing. Jacob has tons of experience and I have yet to attend any wedding since that was as awesome as ours. Definitely book him if you want to have a solid DJ and one less thing to worry about while planning your big day. Oh and the wife was a huge fan of dancing on the clouds, 10/10 recommend.

Amazing wedding DJ
We hired Jacob for our August 2025 wedding at Hotel Zaza Museum District in Houston, Texas. We had an amazing experience. Our guests LOVED him. He was communicative, organized, and very flexible. He also went above and beyond for us. He probably spent two days in total searching for a very specific version of the first dance song we wanted. Jacob did a wonderful job as MC at the reception, making sure everything stayed on the timeline. During open dancing, he did a great job at reading the crowd and changing up the music style when necessary to make sure everyone was having a great time! We have gotten several comments from our guests about how much they loved the DJ and his music selections. We had family from Puerto Rico, England the different parts of the U.S. in attendance, and he made sure to have music for all cultures and age groups. The process was seamless, their questionnaire made it easy for them to get to know us and understand what we were looking for and that was 100% delivered. They were so much fun!! We had DJ Alex who was amazing! He brought club vibes with keeping it clean for all including grandparents while not making it feel childish. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! And this was something me and my husband prioritized and were very diligent about getting a good DJ because I love to dance but I won’t dance if the DJ is not good. And with them I never left the dance floor!! They were great as MC as well super clear and easy to understand! But I can’t recommend them enough.

So much fun! The DJ and dancing were the highlight of our night. If I had one regret it would be that our wedding went by too fast. The Perfect Mix!
We had a multi-cultural wedding, and were honestly a little nervous as to how the DJ would be able to incorporate music from both sides of our group. We had a conversation with the DJ before the wedding, and he was able to put our mind at ease about how he would play a good mix of everything so all our guests could enjoy the night. It was so seamless from one type of music to the next that the family members we thought weren't going to dance to certain types of music stayed on the floor throughout the night. What makes a good party…the food , the drinks and THE MUSIC! and THE DJ! The entire experience was PERFECT! Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night. Alex was our DJ and he was amazing. Best DJ I've Ever Seen
I loved working with J.Kelly Productions for my wedding! My husband and I both agreed that our DJ was one of the best, if not THE best, DJ we've ever seen at an event. He took our Top20 seriously, created the best playlist and blended songs perfectly. I was on the dance floor the entire night, and so were the majority of our guests! He even had my 90-year-old grandfather on the dance floor!

Jacob was AMAZING! I truly cannot recommend him enough. From start to finish, he executed his job to perfection. He was super easy to communicate with through email and phone. We set up several calls to run through details and ensure he knew the style music we wanted to be played. He used a form to gather our important and must play songs and went above and beyond preparing for our day. Our reception was literally the greatest party ever and it was all due to him! The dance floor was packed the entire night and there was never a lull in the energy. He truly is a master at what he does and we could not have pictured our day without him! Jacob was amazing!! We had a few phone calls with him before the big day and I felt so confident that he was going to do a great job on the wedding day. He is so good at feeling out the vibe of the whole day. We gave him some freedom with the dance floor music and he used his talents and catered to the crowd so well. Jacob was awesome to work with! We had originally booked with another company that turned out to be not so great, and we knew from our first conversation with Jacob that he was going to be the best! He was so personable when we spoke to him, and really got to know what we liked/disliked, and did a fantastic job at recommending other songs right up our alley. If I had to give my DJ a score of 1-10 it would be 1000!!! The music, the fun remixes, the energy in the room was beyond words. We didn't want your basic wedding music, so we discussed this with our DJ and he was more than excited saying he had a bunch of fun remixes and different versions of popular songs to accommodate. It was awesome to hear the fresh takes on the songs that we all grew up to, and our guests enjoyed them as well. Thank you J. Kelly Productions for bringing our vision to life.

We had super high expectations for our DJ, and let's just say they far surpassed them. They had the dance floor going all night. People that i thought for sure wouldn't dance were even out there partying with me and my husband. We had been to a lot of weddings in the past year and saw how a bad DJ could ruin the entire wedding, so we were incredibly picky. We spoke with Jacob and he was just so friendly and easy going and more than willing to accommodate our request. After our conversation we knew they were the ones. So many great memories it would take too long to list them all here, but they were absolutely perfect.

Thanks for the memories!
Our wedding was perfect and the DJ was such an integral part of that. From our ceremony to providing music for our cocktail hour to helping with a microphone for our family member to play a song to the dancing they were on point the whole night. We cant say enough great things. The dance floor was the highlight for sure. The way he transitioned from one song to the next. Hire them! We can only hope everyone had the same experience we did. The planning process was so great with them. Jacob was our DJ, and he took the time to help us with all the questions and concerns we had the months preceding our wedding. The day of our wedding was exactly as expected. From start to finish can't say enough great things. Our wedding was simply magical and the DJ was such a big part of it. We used them for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony was flawless. Our family hearing our vows was a big deal to us and our DJ provide and extra mic so we could be heard. Where do I even begin. Jacob blew us away with his DJing. He listened to everything we wanted and we had so many guest on the dance floor! We had multiple guest saying how amazing he was during the night! From the microphones he provided, to the up lighting for the dance floor, and even having our monogram made for the day of! Everything was perfect and exactly what we envisioned for our wedding day! He even gave us the disk that our monogram was made on, and we plan on turning it into a Christmas ornament for our tree to remember that special day!

We found J. Kelly through our wedding planner, Kari Reyes from Notably Yours. He was fabulous to work with. My husband and I live out of state and Jacob was so accommodating with out schedules. He had several zoom meetings with us. He helped us pick out our songs and he delivered an amazing experience at the wedding. We did a dj/band hybrid at our wedding. Jacob had to work with the band from Signature Eventx and they were phenomenal. It was the best entertainment I have ever experienced at a wedding. J. Customizable Easy Peasy Music and Photobooth Experience!
We found J. Kelly through our wedding planner (shout out to Cmart Celebrations) and he was great to work with! Planning a Houston wedding from out of state during a pandemic was definitely challenging, but J. Kelly made the music part easy-peasy by being responsive to e-mails and great during phone meetings with us. He had wedding packages that also allowed flexibility in adjusting items so we got what we wanted and nothing we didn't need. We also loved the light bars that matched the music tempo instead of a conventional disco ball, it was especially a hit with the kids who were mesmerized by the changing colors. We gave him several songs that we wanted to play during different parts of the night (pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner etc.) and if a song didn't make it during that time frame, we heard it elsewhere during the night which was awesome. He was also a great Emcee and all microphones and speakers worked well from our outdoor patio ceremony to our indoor reception and back outside for our outdoor dance floor. We also hired our photobooth through J. Kelly and even though they did not provide props due to COVID (we went to Party City and got our own) they were great in helping us create a look with our color scheme and several of our guests commented how nice the photobooth lady was! We definitely recommend J. Kelly for any special events if you're looking for a customizable, easy music experience!

Jacob was the DJ at my daughter's wedding on 1/15/22. I initially wanted a band but my daughter insisted on a DJ. Jacob was recommended by our venue and boy was it amazing. He was incredible. All his services were impeccable and I'm so thankful we used his services vs. a band, To the lighting, photo booth, lettering and DJ services, he was beyond excellent. My SIL had Jacob at her wedding and he was, of course, stellar so we had high hopes when booking him for our wedding and he did not disappoint! Wow! DJ Kelly made our wedding one to remember! The dance floor was full the entire night. Jacob was great! With his creativity and the most amazing NBA announcer voice, Jacob introduced our bridal party with an unforgettable grand entrance to the Chicago Bulls walk out song. He went above and beyond by adding in his own quirks and jokes to the entrance and our guests absolutely loved it - it was perfect and was just what we needed to start our reception. Jacob listened to my husband and I’s requests; he played our “must haves” and did a great job listening and incorporating our style of music. He did a fantastic job of catering to our older crowd at the beginning of the evening and then to our younger crowd towards the end. J Kelly Productions did an amazing job for our wedding at BSB! If you are having your wedding at BSB, they need to be your top pick. The up lights they provide are a must for this venue! Also we would highly recommend the ‘dancing on a cloud’ upgrade for the first dance. They kept the crowd going and the energy level high throughout the evening. A DJ can make or break your reception! Working with Jacob leading up to my daughter's wedding was truly a joy! When COVID forced their ceremony and reception to be separated three months apart, Jacob had no reservations about moving their event date. He made the process so smooth and easy. I was a little nervous at the thought of a stranger DJ'ing a reception full of close friends and family, but all my fears were completely and immediately put to rest when things got under way. Al was very engaging and so much fun! He adjusted the music when it seemed the dance floor was sparse, and played more of the songs that kept the dance floor full! I ended up having to move tables DURING the event to make the dance floor bigger! WHAT A FUN NIGHT!!!!!!!! Family and friends had a BLAST celebrating the newlyweds . . . an evening that will be remembered by all! I'm beyond happy we went with J. Kelly Productions!!!!!!!

I was married on August 22, 2020 and it was a double ceremony. We were sent Gus who works with Jacob Kelly and he was exceptional! It wasn’t easy to coordinate what 2 different brides and grooms wanted with anything, however, with our DJ, he made it totally easy and enjoyable and was able to incorporate all kinds of different music to suit our cultures. I would absolutely use them again and couldn’t be more impressed with their professionalism and the way they kept me updated throughout the entire process including the weeks a days before the wedding as well as the day of the wedding itself! Thanks to Jacob and Gus for making our day so special!!

Great Wedding DJ
DJ J. Kelly did a wonderful job at our wedding. He took the time to meet with us and really get a sense of what kind of music we liked. He made sure to play our must-have songs as well as keeping the music upbeat and flowing. My husband and I really enjoyed his work.

Happy bride
I loved working with J. Kelly Productions. They really got to know my music style and used it for the wedding. Our guests loved their vibe and music choices and they kept the dance floor busy. My husband and I aren’t big on dancing but we surprisingly found ourselves on the dance floor more than we thought we would. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to keep the good times rolling on our night.

Jacob did a great job at our wedding! Months leading up to it was he was responsive to emails, planned a time to meet up to ease my nerves, and was flexible to any changes the week of. He didn't play songs on our "no play" list and everyone had a great time! He was punctual the day of to set up early and he was dressed for the occasion. I enjoyed having him as our DJ and would recommend him to others. He paid attention to details and did a great job pronouncing everyone's names that we had in our bridal party and our parents. Loved working with J Kelly Productions! This vendor was chosen for us through an all inclusive package we purchased with our venue and I could not be happier with them! DJ Mark was fantastic!! Jacob was an amazing DJ- my husband and I are so happy we chose him for our wedding! During the planning phone calls he took the time to get to know my husband and I as well as our music style. My husband and I have two different music tastes, and Jacob was able to blend them together for the perfect party music. We hired Jacob for our 4/27/19 wedding, and let me tell you... he rocked it! I’m so happy he was our DJ, he played exactly what we wanted (which was a weird mix of stuff lol). We first met Jacob at an open house and got his info, at the time we weren’t ready to look at DJ’s... a couple months later we came across him at another open house. He remembered us right off the bat! Something about him remembering us and the way he treated us, we were sold! (I had vendors who I had booked and couldn’t even remember us!). Our guests absolutely loved him and he even helped us customize our package specifically to our wants and needs. Would highly recommend Jacob to everyone! You will NOT be disappointed!

Jacob is it!
Where do I even begin?! Jacob is seriously incredible at what he does. Before the wedding, he took the time to get to know us as a couple, get a sense of our music taste, the vibe we were going for and learn about the structure of our special day. He was professional, easy to talk to, and I felt at ease knowing he would bring the music and keep the party going. We had a smaller guest count at reception and I had some concern about the dance floor feeling empty or the energy in the space feeling dull. All of those fears went ahead day of though, Jacob read the room and kept the energy alive and the dance floor seriously bumpin'. The music was so spot on and days after the wedding, guests were still talking about how fun the dance floor was. Jacob truly exceeded our expectations and helped us out with an unexpected issue with another vendor that was definitely outside of his scope of work. He had our best interest in mind from beginning to end. Thank you, Jacob!!! I can't say enough good things about you!!

Jacob was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding (more than a year in advance) and I couldn’t of made a better decision!! He took my ideas and rolled with them and kept the party going all night with the perfect playlist. Throughout the planning process, I never had to worry about my DJ as I knew Jacob was always on top of things! Jacob made sure to personally congratulate my husband and I multiple times throughout the night and brought such an energy to our wedding night that it wouldn’t have been the same without him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!!
