Spectacular and Special Service
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at J. Del Olmo! I worked with Carmen, who was so helpful, straightforward, and knowledgeable about the wedding dress process. I came in with a vision and she helped me find the perfect dress to match it. After going to other shops and having cold, awkward experiences with staff that directed me to an iPad instead of asked me questions, J. Del Olmo treated me wonderfully every time I walked into the shop. The owners are truly dedicated to ensuring every bride that visits will have an incredible experience. Weddings can be very stressful, but J. Del Olmo will put you at ease during the whole dress process. You are guaranteed to leave satisfied, pleased, and relieved to be so well taken are of. -

Loved Shopping at J Del Olmo
J Del Olmo was our final stop on the day we looked for wedding dresses. After explaining the what i wanted overall, the stylist immediately found a dress in mind - and it was the one. I did everything with plenty of time (1 year), so timing was never an issue or stressful. Once the dress arrived, Vivian and her team were always so amazing during fittings. Love that it's a family-owned business in the heart of Coral Gables which is so personal to our relationship as well. I felt beautiful the day of the wedding and thank the J Del Olmo team for everything! -

When they saved me after my Brides of Florida nightmare

J. Del Olmo Bridal Gallery was my savior during my wedding! Vivian, the owner, is such a lovely person. I can not recommend her enough to anyone reading this review. I am so grateful for her and this shop.
It was two days before my wedding and I didn’t have a veil. I had just had a nasty experience at Brides of Florida in Kendall and I didn’t want to give them anymore of my money after they left me with an unsymmetrical wedding dress and treated me terribly. I was on the hunt for a veil. Luckily, my mother in law’s friend from work knew Vivian and reached out to her explaining the emergency situation. Vivian was so sweet to me and immediately squeezed me in to an appointment with her the next day when I was available. She was patient with me and tried her best to help me find the perfect veil...which we ended up finding thanks to her.
Vivian, you have no idea how much you restored my faith in bridal dress shops after my horrific experience with the other shop. Thank you so much! 😊 -

Absolutely amazing options and experience!
I went to J Del Olmo looking for my perfect dress, something sexy, elegant and glamorous! When I walked in, the store was absolutely beautiful and I instantly got excited especially after visiting over five stores and trying on over 50 dresses. The selection of dresses is unreal with a wide range of prices. Ligia, my sales consultant, was so sweet, she listened to every detail of what I was looking for and took me right to perfect section where I felt like I was in wedding dress heaven!!! I selected 7 dresses to try on, some I was nervous to even look at the price tag due to the amount of detail on them, but I was pleasantly surprised. Out of the 7 dresses I fell in love with 4 of them and before I even opened my mouth to say something Ligia told me that the designer would be able to alter or add anything I wanted in order to customize it to me ( which was barely needed, but I loved the thought of customization). Every dress I tried on I loved more than the last which before walking in I thought was impossible! Finally, I put on the last dress and just knew it was the one! Ligia went to the owner( who also is such a sweetheart) and asked for a discount on the dress for me and even gave me a free veil! Every single bride should try J Del Olmo, between the large selection of stunning dresses and the AMAZING customer service you will not be disappointed!!! -

Fantastic Experience.
Had a great experience with J Del Olmo, everyone was friendly and very professional. They have a large selection of dresses in order to suit any style and allow for all sorts of customizing. They had in house seamstresses for alterations, and they knew what they were doing. My dress turned out perfect. -

Perfect Place to Buy a Wedding Dress
Lidia is so incredibly professional, patient, and courteous. I truly wish I could rate her, and her absolutely perfect service, higher! We were so lucky to have worked with her and Del Olmo's amazing staff. My dress was not only beautiful but EXACTLY what I wanted.
The best part of their incredible service -- I was only in Miami for one day (unfortunately due to work) to get my alterations done, and they did it on time and with grace. The dress fit SO perfectly!
Their shop gets back to you in a timely manner and facilitates with any curveballs the day (or days leading up to the big day) throw at you. I am so, so, so happy to have bought my dress there! They also worked really well with my family. 10/10+ would recommend to anyone! -

I got my wedding dress at another store on Miracle Mile. 2 days before my wedding my boutique was unable to get my dresses altered for me (their seamstress had a personal situation). I took my dress to J del olmo and they immediately were able to help me and fix the dress. They helped me find a solution and were beyond nice. I owe my day to them and thank them beyond anything. What a great location. -

I absolutely loved my experience in wedding dress shopping at J Del Olmo Gallery!! My bridal consultant, Pilar, was an absolute dream to work with. She was very professional yet very sweet and personable. She always told me the truth on how dresses looked on me and I thank her very much for that. I ended up purchasing a spectacular dress ( at a reasonable price) that all my guests still can't stop talking about. Pilar made my visits to the shop fun and stress free.
She helped me with my dream dress and I am so grateful. I definitely recommend J del Olmo Gallery!

I have to admit that when I walked into J Del Olmo, I was a little defeated as this was my 3rd Bridal appointment. But that changed quickly! Ligia was my consultant and she not only knows her way around the store but she knew right away what would like great on me. My dress was actually one that was hidden and my sister saw from a corner. Ligia knew right away that when she saw my sister holding it that it would be the dress for me. And was she right! The dress they had in hand was not in my size, so luckily for me, my sister and I have similar body types and she tried it on. I was only able to put it on through the arms and just knew it was the one! To top it off, I wanted a cathedral style veil and they had one that matched perfectly! The store worked with me on fittings and they were GREAT! The dress fit perfectly and I couldn't have been more in love! Thank you Ligia for making me look stunning on my wedding day! -

Vivian and the staff at J Del Olmo were an absolute pleasure to work with. I found the dress of my dreams after trying on just 5 dresses. It was a gorgeous Paloma Blanca wedding gown that they altered to fit me flawlessly. The guests at our wedding were in disbelief of the dress. So many people said it was the most beautiful dress they had ever seen. The cathedral length lace veil was truly the icing on the cake. It was such a wonderful experience at J Del Olmo! -

I went to J Del Olmo for one specific Pronovias dress. Thanks to Vivian, I tried on several other styles that were similar to completely different, and I can honestly say I fell in love several times. I am still in decision mode as it has only been a few days but I can tell you that the service and unbelievable care that I was given was exceptional. I have been to J Del Olmo 3 times prior for other bridesmaid dresses (finally it's my turn to be the bride :)) and have always been treated with amazing care. Everything is on time and the staff is always sweet and accommodating. When you are getting married or involved in walking a wedding, it is so important to not feel stressed and to feel like your business is appreciated and important at stores like this. They are top notch in every way! -

Last month I went to Miracle Mile with my family to look at wedding dresses, just killing some time and not serious about finding a dress. We had gone through about 4 shops already and were starting to get a little tired when we walked into J. Del Olmo Bridal Gallery. We were asked to wait for someone me to help browse the gowns. Within a few minutes a wonderful woman named Vivian came by to help. I showed her about 50 pictures of dresses I liked (Sorry Vivian lol) and she went straight to work pulling dresses right and left. I told her that I didn't really want to look like a princess for my wedding, I wanted to have a dress that looked like it belonged on the Red Carpet, like Hollywood Glam type dress. Something with beading and something DRAMATIC. She said I think I have the perfect dress for you! She went to the back and got a sample dress and I knew as soon as I saw it... that was THE ONE lol. So I tried on the other dresses she'd picked out just to give them a chance and she patiently helped me with each and every dress. Then finally the moment I'd been waiting for happened and when I put the sample dress on that she'd found I didnt want to take it off!! Vivian found a beautiful veil to go with it and never once was pushy or "salesman" like in any way. Little did I know, Vivian actually turned out to be the owner!! I can't say enough good things about this place, it's gorgeous inside and they really listen to what you want! Vivian even let me pay for the dress the next day ONLINE and thru FAX lol (because I'm from out of town and was leaving the next day) ... So AWESOME! So accommodating!!! She even recommended a place for wedding photos, the Vizcaya Museum... gorgeous! Thank you Vivian!! -

J Del Olmo is the place to start...and finish...when shopping for your wedding dress! My sales person Barbara listened to me as I described what I was looking for in a wedding dress and helped me pick out a flattering dress that was exactly what I wanted but had not realized yet! Beyond that, she helped my mother and my bridesmaids find wonderful dresses for them and my fiancee even had his suit made at the store!
The excellent service did not stop once I made the dress decision. Barbara and the seamstresses made sure my dress fit perfectly -- even up until the week of the wedding. Plus, Barbara patiently helped me choose a veil, earrings and a hair clip that were "just right" for my dress! J Del Olmo was truly one stop shopping for me and made the whole wedding dress shopping experience fun and stress free!

Not only do I love this store because I found my dress here, but out of all the stores I went to this was my favorite. My consultant Daniella really listened to what I was looking for and if it was not for her imagination I would not have been able to create my beautiful dress that was perfect for my venue. All the girls at this store were so nice and helpful and the seamstress is great. They really know how to run a top notch store. Definitely worth traveling from West Palm. -

Got the dress at J. Del Olmo, paid more than I would have liked to spend on it, but that always happens and although I am budget conscious, I know that I went to every single boutique in Coral Gables as well as Fort Lauderdale, and trust me, J has the best selection and most beautiful gowns. They have very particular pieces and designers not found at other places, the key is to go with what you'd like but be open to the associate's suggestions. I bought a Mathew Christopher gown that is to die for, simple and elegant. The service there was also great, all the girls were very friendly and when I negotiated they worked with me...but keep in mind that there are some designers that limit pricing. -

I bought my dress out of state but it needed major work. They were kind enough to alter my dress and fit it to perfection. I bought my sash there, and wish that I would have gone shopping there before I found my dress in another state! Vivian and her seamstress were amazing, they transformed my dress into my dream dress. You should definitely check them out before you go anywhere else! -

I thought finding a dress was going to be one of the easiest things on my to do list as I planned my wedding. Turns out that wasn't the case for me, one of my friends finally tells me about J Del Olmo and thanks to Barbara I found my dream dress. They were very professional and Barbie so patient with me at all times. Their selection is also amazing. Highly recommend this store and ask for Barbie she was so helpful.

I purchased my dress here, and I couldn't be happier. Marlin, the sales consultant who took care of me, was fabulous every step of the way - from the initial visit, to the purchase, to the four (!) fittings.
Before J. del Olmo, I'd been to three other salons on Miracle Mile, and I thought I'd found the dress that I wanted at one of them. I decided to keep my appointment at J. del Olmo anyway, since we were already there. I'm so grateful I did. I explained to Marlin when we started that I had already found a dress I loved. She asked to see a photo, and then she asked what I had been looking for before I'd come across that dress. With that little bit of information, she picked a few dresses for me to try on. I fell in love with two of them - I loved both of them ten times more than the other dress I'd found. To be honest, I was a little torn between the two, but luckily, my decision was made pretty easy by the fact that everyone I was with (mother, two sisters, friend, mother in law, and aunt in law) cried when I walked out in one of the dresses. I ended up purchasing that one :) It's truly a fairytale wedding dress. I loved the dress so much and was so confident that I'd found MY wedding dress that I cancelled all the other appointments we made.
On our wedding day, I felt like a princess. I received sooooo many compliments on my dress, as well as on my veil and shoes (both of which I also purchased here). Our wedding was almost three weeks ago, and the compliments are still rolling in. I only wish I had an excuse to wear it all again!
My experience purchasing a dress here was everything I'd dreamed about - plush dressing room, beautiful floor length mirror, plenty of room for my "entourage," gorgeous gowns, attentive staff, and even champagne. In sum, I couldn't be happier with J. del Olmo. Thanks to Marlin and the rest of the staff for helping me find the dress of my dreams!

I must admit, finding a dress was what I dreaded the most. I walked into J Del Olmo and Barbie made that all change! She just got me and made the experience so MAGICAL! I got my dress, veil & accessories there as well as my bridesmaid dresses and my mother & MIL dress. She made me feel like such a princess, every step of the way. THANK YOU! -

I had the most AMAZING experience with J.Del Olmo from the first day I walked into the store. All the staff was a pleasure to work with... They made all my dreams come true. I can honestly say the only difficult part was deciding what dress I loved the most. They have so many gorgeous dresses at a very resonable prices. The seamstress works miracles she does amazing work and made me a beautiful custom veil with the same lace as my dress. Vivian the owner (and her father) have a heart of gold. They did everything possible to accommodate all my needs. Everyone there made me feel like a princess and made my wedding experience an event I will never forget. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for me. My wedding dress made me feel like a princess and I will never forget the way I felt that day and I owe so much of that to them. I highly recommend J. Del Olmo you wont regret it.

The service here was great. When I walked in the first time, I was about to walk out because the store felt very luxurious and I was convinced that no dress in there would be affordable. Boy was I wrong. They have beautiful dresses in all price ranges and the customer service is great! If you want a real bridal experience, with the beautiful show rooms and star treatment, this Is the perfect place that will definitely fit in your budget. -

Bought a custom made gown from J del Olmo one year before my wedding date and am SO glad I did. The owner is VERY FRIENDLY, super professional, and extremely attentive to the customers in her store. After visiting other EXTREMELY rude, uptight, and snobby stores in the same neighborhood, I was SOOOO GLAD I fell into J del Olmo! Will definitely be taking all future bride friends of mine there! Make this your FIRST stop, if you're shopping for a wedding dress in Miami. Walking into the store, I had no clue what kind of bridal dress I wanted. I met with Barbie and answered a few simple questions she asked of me (ex: price, style, fabric, etc..) Within in minutes, she pulled approximately ten dresses she thought I would like. The first two she had me try on became the final two I would choose between. As I was trying on dresses, I timidly asked Barbie what these dresses cost (because they were extraordinarily beautiful). I was so relieved when she said, $1500-$1700. Every single dress she pulled for me was within my price range! Barbie could have been my best friend, she was so sweet, easy to talk to, and she listened. Vivian, the owner, was so helpful and nice to my mom and I. She constantly stopped by to see how dresses were fitting and make suggestions. Bottom line: the women that helped us at J Del Olmo were fantastic! This will be your first and final stop. -

I completely recommend J Del Olmo Bridal Gallery. My family and I traveled from Fort Myers, FL to shop for bridal gowns on the Miracle Mile in Miami. J Del Olmo was our second stop of our day. I was placed with Eliana and she was so nice and immediately could tell exactly what I wanted. My grandma was the one who ended up picking my dress and I am so glad she did. It was the second one I tried on and I immediately knew it was the one. But I ended up trying a few more just to be sure. But a little over a year from my wedding day I ended up saying yes to the dress! It was a Katerina Bocci dress and what ended up sealing the deal even more was the fact that she was hosting a trunk show there that weekend. She came out and introduced herself to me and even drew a sketch of me in the dress and signed it for me. She took my measurements herself! Nothing made me feel more at ease than that. And she even made some custom changes to the dress just for me. The dress turned out absolutely perfect and I would recommend Katerina, Eliana and everyone from J Del Olmo. -

I had a wonderful experience at J. Del Olmo Bridal on Miracle Mile! The salon is so beautiful and the entire staff was very welcoming, especially since I was a walk-in. My consultant, Ileana, was incredible! She was so kind & helpful, even mailing me a last minute item (last minute on my part, and I live 2 hours away). While some women may be lucky enough to fall in love with the first gown they try on, I must have gone to 20 different bridal salons & tried on countless gowns before finding J. Del Olmo… and my dream gown! I had begun to lose hope, but I am so delighted to say that I found THE gown at J. Del Olmo! I wish I could wear it every day!

I got engaged on December 25, 2011 on the 27th two days later I went in search for the perfect wedding dress. After trying 4 other dresses at another boutique, my mother, grandmother, best friend and I headed into J Del Olmo the dress I fell in love with was on the window display. Natalie (bridal consultant) kindly took it off the mannequin, I tried it on, fell in love, 4 days ago (10/27/12) I wore it for my wedding! Vivian the owner of the boutique is the nicest, kindest, sweetest person she worked very hard in making sure everything went smoothly. Not only did I get my wedding dress at J Del Olmo they also made a personalized bird cage veil for me! In addition I had my bridesmaid dresses provided by them, all 13 bridesmaids dresses! With a large wedding party comes a few mishaps, Vivian and Natalie made sure to take care of all the minor bumps that got in the way. I was extremely pleased by their kind service and of course the dresses are breath taking both mine and the bridesmaids! I highly recommend J Del Olmo for your princess dress and your courts as well! I didn't get my dress here and one of the reasons was they couldn't give me an idea of how much alterations would cost (minimal alterations). I would definetely recommend this store to every bride that is looking for an exceptional looking dress. These people are very professional and nice. This boutique was my favorite part of wedding planning. The place is gorgeous, with the most unique and beautiful dresses. I am very pleased with the service I received. I was able to find a beautiful dress within my budget without much effort. Alterations were also expertly done. Vivian, the owner, was also very accommodating in allowing me to change my first veil selection. While some other bridal boutiques don't allow photos to be taken of dress selections, this boutique did. It allowed me to see how I looked in the various dresses and veils and ultimately to realise that my intial veil choice did not give me the look I wanted. I was able to choose another veil that I had initially tried on because I had been photographed in it also, and I liked the look. -

I purchased my wedding dress at J Del Olmo! It was a gorgeous dress and the alterations were amazing! The price was also fantastic. There was one issue, my dress came in completely wrong, all the stitching was off and some of the fabric was falling off. They were very responsive and managed to have a dress sent directly from the vendor to me without any charge, and this was three weeks before my wedding. They were very responsive and helpful with making sure I had my dress on my wedding day and that it was perfection! -

I had a great experience shopping here and got to try on a wide variety of dresses. The dresses were high quality and they offered a range of prices that cater to your budget. Be sure that you get a good idea of what alterations would cost and how long the dress will take to get there. This gallery was pretty good about providing that information up front and my dress arrived a few weeks after the estimated date, which wasn't a problem. Overall good experience, but make sure you have a good idea of what you like before going because it could feel a little overwhelming otherwise. -

Overall I was happy with my experience at J del Olmo. They definitely have some of the best prices in the Coral Gables area. My gown arrived perfectly on time, alterations were perfect. Vivan, the owner, is an absolute sweet heart. That being said, the ability to get in touch with my sales contact was near impossible. I always ended up having to be serviced by whoever was available and it felt very impersonal. I would definitely recommend them for price but just wish they went the extra mile to answer back calls and keep appointments. -

I fell in love with my Lis Simon dress here. I stopped by just to look at the dresses and make an appointment and was helped without an appointment and I actually found my dress that day with my maid of honor. The front desk girl is so friendly. There are a lot of options for any budget. We had to push back our wedding by 3 months and were accommodated with my dress. I'd recommend this place to any Bride! Hurricane Irma was coming to Miami before my wedding month and they called to ask if I wanted them to hold the dress or if I wanted to pick up. I asked if it would be safe there and they said it would to their knowledge and if there were any damages they would replace the dress. They went above and beyond in a natural disaster situation. I was so impressed that they reached out to me. -

When I first entered this store I was greeted and met with smiles. I was introduced to a woman named Nataly, who became my dress consultant. Nataly helped me pick out many dresses and actually hand picked the dress I ended up choosing. That day I found my dress, veil, and all my other accessories for my wedding as well as my bridesmaids dresses which were 10% off since I purchased my dress from there. At the beginning it was great and i was impressed however, I soon became frustrated with them!
Over the course of the year before my wedding I found J Del Olmo to be very unprofessional and disorganized. Thankfully they have Nataly. When I would call and Nataly was not there they would take my information and offered to relay the message to Nataly, which never happened. Unless I was speaking with Nataly directly, the information was lost. This was very frustrating. They also were very disorganized when it came to paying for the bridesmaid dresses. They would claim girls hadn't paid when they had and could not keep their information straight. It caused quite a headache and lots of calls between myself, my bridesmaids and the store. And lastly, they had my maid of honor come in for alterations but the pins fell out which led to her having to go back a second time for another fitting to redo what was already done. This was a tedious and annoying task seeing as how my maid of honor lives in Tampa. I was happy with Nataly, She found my perfect dress and accessories and was very helpful and apologized when things went wrong. Unfortunately, the actual store was a disappointment and I could not wait to be done with them. -

Unprofessional don’t waste your time
I am a Miami bride who ofcourse knows coral gables miracle mile has a a great selection of bridal shops. I made an appointment for 2pm today at this beautiful store. I showed up 5 mins before my appointment because I was running early. I walked into the store and was not greeted by anyone until about 5 mins of standing and looking around. I was greeted by an older woman who asked me how I was doing and immediately cut me off before I could respond with the question of do I have an appointment. I gave her my information she told me to sit down and wait because they were behind and someone else would help me. So I waited patiently, another 10 mins went by before another woman came to me and told me she would help me shortly but she needed to clear out the dressing room from a previous bride and change her shoes * I suppose her shoes hurt her feet*. Another 10-15 mins go by another younger woman asks me have I been helped I told her no I have not yet and she told me to hold on another moment while she located someone to help. I had been waiting in this shops waiting room for 30 mins, another group of ladies walked in who also had a 2pm appointment and they were seen before me. Out of the various shops I visited on miracle mile this is the only one whose employees ignored and overlooked me for other customers and didn’t seem to care until I had to speak up respectively and let them know I was being ignored. To which the older store respresentative made multiple excuses and gave me continuous attitude. She did not seem to care at all that I was upset and was the absolute worst. Once I voiced my opinion the last young lady I spoke to finally came to assist me but by then I was ready to leave. I hope other brides do not run into this issue. Goodluck to you ladies. -
