Great Wedding DJ!

J-ARE was my wedding DJ and he did an excellent job! JR had my guests on the dance floor all night and it was clear that he wasn't running through a simple go-to wedding playlist - he played songs specific to our taste in music and based on the live crowd reactions/preferences. I would absolutely recommend JR to any prospective couple!

Best DJ! Go ahead and book!

JR was an absolute pleasure to work with. Super responsive, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. We were looking for a DJ that would keep the crowd moving, without being obnoxious or on the mic all night, and he did just that! JR mixes music on the spot, so it almost feels like you're in a club with the way each song flawlessly flowed into each other. Everyone was up and dancing all night- I don't think there was ever a moment (apart from dinner) where the dance floor was not packed! We've received so many compliments on the music and how JR was able to cater to all ages at our wedding, but still keep the vibe going!

His "DJ Sheet" made it super easy to communicate what music we wanted played and when, and we were even able to meet in person to discuss how we wanted our night to run. Overall, 100% recommend.

Great music and entertainment

DJ JR was amazing! He listened to what we wanted and played all the music we requested. He kept people on the dance floor all night! He also easily dealt with all the emails I would send him with changes or new requests. The sound during the ceremony and reception were perfect thanks to him and we did not have to worry at all.

Just do it - book him!

Where to start! Do yourself, and your guests a favor and just book JR if he has your date available. Holy smokes this guy is the best DJ/MC that you could possibly choose to be a part of your special day. He made planning from across the country seem like a breeze - he was available any time and even dealt with our back and forth emails about songs, timelines, etc. as well as our scattered calls where we were just so unsure about everything. JR really made us feel comfortable and we trusted him with making sure everything went as planned! He proved to be way more than a DJ and it is so evident that he loves what he does and truly cares for the people he works with. We are so glad JR was available for our special day - never meeting in person prior to the day of, we both felt like we had met him before and could've grabbed beers together. Every one of our guests keep talking about how "the DJ made the party" and although we had amazing guests, it was JR that kept the dancing and positive vibes going all day and night! Take our word for it - book JR!

JR was absolutely amazing. He not only blended our families two cultures together, but he mixed and killed it with music. Very professional, welcoming and accommodating. JR is kind, professional and knows what he's doing!

DJ JR Burrs with J-ARE Entertainment made our wedding on 4/24 at the John James Audubon Center so fun and awesome!! He got the dance floor packed without relying on silly games, gimmicks, or any weird "DJ Personality" (exactly what I wanted). He's extremely kind, professional, and easy-going. He played all the music that we wanted to hear and even played special requests for family traditions. We had live music at our ceremony and he came to provide the mic for our officiant - very helpful and flexible. My guests had nothing but good things to say about the music and asked for his information because they wanted him at their parties too! If you're looking for a great DJ who just knows how to keep a party going, talk to JR.

Kept everyone dancing!

I first found JR through his Instagram where he posted a wedding he was working at our venue. I could tell by the 30 second video that the wedding guests were having so much fun and knew I had to reach out immediately. JR was so easy to talk to and you could tell he just loves music and helping others to get in a dancing mood. He met us multiple times to make sure that our ceremony order and music was set and that the dancing playlists were what we wanted. We heard from SO many guests that this was the first wedding where they really felt like dancing and had so much fun! Unfortunately, simply due to our schedule, our dancing time was not super long. If we could do it over again, we would have more dancing time to have JR playing more tunes! I was honestly nervous about the reception dancing time (Will anyone dance? How do I make people dance if I refuse to play cha cha slide?!), but seriously JR erased all of those fears and we had people who said they wished they could have stayed and danced longer! Great service, communication and great guy! Thank you JR!!

Never left the dance floor!

J-Are DJ’ed our wedding and did an amazing job! He was very organized and had an excel spreadsheet that spelled out who was being introduced when, what song to play, playlists for the ceremony, etc. He was super easy to work with and laid back. When we had a specific vison, he met it perfectly, and when we weren’t sure what direction to go with, for example the music during dinner, he took the lead and it was perfect. We had some unique traditions throughout the night (to get the bride and groom to kiss, table stand up together and sign song with word “love” in it) (small set of polka songs for my polish side of the family), and J-Are worked it in perfectly and had both my family and my friends dancing all night long! The songs he played during the dance were perfect for the vibe, everyone was dancing all night. I only left the dance floor to cut the cake! Highly recommend to DJ a wedding!

he makes me want to throw another wedding

JR is an amazing DJ. My husband and I felt like his only client during our wedding planning. He is very accommodating and professional as well. I felt the difference of hiring him verses a big company where I would be just another number. You can tell this is a passion of his and I felt nothing but ease having him during the stressful wedding planning process. He has nothing but positive energy during meetings, and the day of event. I highly recommend and have done so already to all my friends who are engaged!

JR was by far one of the best parts of the evening! He had all of our guests up and dancing from the beginning to end of our wedding! He was very accommodating, met with us several times to look things over and work out details! By far the best DJ we have ever had at a wedding! Our guests are still talking about how good he was! Highly recommended and very reasonable prices!

We were extremely focused on picking a DJ for our wedding - this was the highest priority for us, we wanted everyone out there dancing! We came across J-ARE Entertainment on weddingwire and then checked out his website, we immediately loved the variety and quality of his mixes. It was really important to us to have the songs mix together - we didn't want lags and silence between songs. What made our decision complete to go with JR as our DJ was after our initial phone call, we could just immediately tell he has a passion and understanding for music! JR is not going to just go up there and hit play - he is going to Disc Jockey!

Throughout the planning process JR was super responsive to our questions and requests and extremely professional. We live in New Jersey and JR was very accommodating to meet with us in PA when we were back in the area on weekends to go over the plans. We had a special request to mix in a specific part of a Justin Timberlake song at the end of our first dance that my now husband and I used to listen to during long drives back from college and it was just perfect! We also decided late in the game to get a monogram light and JR was able to work his magic to get that together for us!

Picking JR as our DJ was the absolute best decision we made - he brought the party to life, our guests and even the staff at the venue kept saying how great of a DJ we have. We highly recommend JR to anyone looking for a DJ!!

My husband and I were so incredibly happy with J-Are! I was in a parking lot talking to my mother about the only vendor we had left to book was our DJ. I parked my car and saw an advertisement on the side of a car for J-Are. Looked him up and saw he has great reviews. I called to book him immediately. He is so cool and calm and was very accommodating to our requests. He had our guests dancing the entire night - every generation. We had a few last minute changes and in the moment changes, which he handled seemlessly. Months later, our guests are still talking about our wedding and the music!

We booked J-ARE as our DJ/MC for our Friday night wedding at Normandy Farms in Blue Bell, PA. He did a phenomenal job! He was professional and courteous while we met for our initial planning ... And, he was easy to correspond all the way up to our special day. J-ARE made sure everything he played was edited to be free of obscenities, as we had a crowd that included children, and seniors. He also played everything on our request list, which included Oldies, Hip Hop, Latin, and Country music. His announcements were all clear and concise. And, he even collaborated with The Matron of Honor to do a surprise Rap toast over an old school 90s instrumental beat! At the end of the night people were coming up to us and asking for his contact information because he had done such a great job. His equipment sounded great, and his mixing was on point. You can definitely tell he loves to make people dance. Don't hesitate to book him for your special event because prices are extremely reasonable. Just make sure your guests wear comfortable shoes, because he'll have them on the dance floor all night!

I can't say enough about how great JR was. The first time we met him we knew he was our choice. We saw how excited he was discussing his services with us. J Are is awsome!!!! I Found him on Wedding Wire and booked him in June 2016 for my March 17, 2017 Wedding. From the time I booked him until the end of my wedding he was verry accomadting and very easy to get along with. Lets just start from the beginning I did alot of research in regards to cost and quality before I hired any of my wedding vendors. I found J Are on wedding wire and instantly contacted him since he had nothing but good reviews and his prices were amazingly reasonable. My main request when it came to a DJ was to have everyone up, dancing, and having fun since it was a St. Patrick's Day Wedding. I also wanted a DJ with a reasonably priced projector and screen because my parents both passed away and this was going to be one of the best ways to honor them by having there pictures playing as I danced with my brother during the father daughter dance. J Are defiantly accommodated both of my wishes. We meet several times throughout the planning process and every time he came to me so that I didn't have to travel far. He was very easy to get a hold of anytime I needed him. I gave him a list of songs that I liked and he played everyone of them as well as all of the songs that my guest requested the night of. The day of my wedding he arrived early (In fact earlier than me) which is awesome and was ready to party and get my guest up and dancing as I wished. My slide show was amazing and I received nothing but compliments about how fun my wedding was and how good my DJ was . I highly recommend J Are and I would surly hire him again for any of my future DJ needs!!!!

If you want a club style DJ who keeps everyone dancing the whole night including your grandmother, JR is the man for you! JR was phenomenal and kept everyone dancing the whole night. He was very helpful and the night went very smoothly. J-Are Entertainment is a step above other services - great music! moved things along without a hitch. We used J-ARE Entertainment for our wedding on 7/17/16 and had a great experience with them. The entire process was simple and easy, which is just what I needed since I was dealing with a million other things planning a wedding. JR and Grieg were amazing!!! JR was super professional and did a great job! Not annoying in any way with the announcements (which was my fear), used our playlist and kept people dancing! He was great at blending an older song with a newer song on top of it so that different ages were rocking out to the song they liked. My husband and I definitely recommend J-Are Entertainment.

JR is the definition of a great DJ!! My husband and I are delighted to have had him as our DJ for our wedding. He met with us a few times throughout the planning process to go over all the little details of what we wanted and delivered on all of them. We couldn't have asked much more from JR. We highly recommend J-Are Entertainment for your wedding!!

JR sure did live up to every expectation that I had in mind, and even more. We could not have ask for a better DJ for our wedding as everything ran flawlessly! JR kept all of my family and friends, including my wife & I, on the dance floor all night long and we really do appreciate all of the work that he put in to making sure our day was a success. We got all kinds of compliments about JR and how awesome he was. J-ARE Entertainment truly rocks, and I definitely recommend them for your wedding. Thank you!

Everyone always tell you that having a good DJ is essential to a great wedding. Well Grieg and JR weren't just good, they were incredible. They were so involved in the wedding and knew exactly when to get the party started. We couldn't be happier with their work and so many people complimented them to us during the night. We definitely recommend Pure Entertainment!!

JR was super great for our wedding!! A friend of mine recommended J-Are Entertainment to me, and I do not regret it one bit. JR was very professional and punctual throughout the entire planning process. He even added light-up rings for our guess with no additional cost. JR played all of the dance music we wanted and kept the dance floor packed the entire night. I definitely recommend JR to DJ your wedding with out a doubt! Thank you very much JR!!

J-ARE Entertainment was phenomenal at our wedding!! JR kept my husband & I, and our family and friends dancing all night. We couldn’t asked much more from JR. He was the best from the beginning we met him, to the end of our reception. JR truly rocks! Thank you!

I don't think I could have found a better DJ for my wedding. JR was very professional and easy going throughout the whole planning process. My guest are still talking about how much fun they had at my wedding. JR new how to mix the music, and he selected the right music at the right time. JR is highly recommended in my book. Thank you JR for all that you have done, and we appreciate all of the hard work and dedication that you've put into our wedding.

DJ J-ARE put every effort into making sure that the day ran smoothly and my reception was a hit. Everyone enjoyed themselves from beginning to end and I owe it to his hard work and professionalism. He made sure that everyone had a good time and that all requests were met. He showed up on time and consulted us with all the information needed.
