My now husband and I have used this photographer twice, the first for family photos and the second for our wedding. The style of photography is warm and bright and the final photos we received amazingly captured the posed photos and the action shots. We have had Aly and Jermaine as our photographers and they were both fantastic, they directed me and other people in photos on the best way to position our hands and where to look to capture the best photos. They went above and beyond making sure they did the most to be one of the best parts of our wedding day especially after so many things went wrong. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer for any occasion and will absolutely be using them in the future. -

Jermaine was so, so easy to work with and incredibly professional throughout the whole process of setting up a proposal and engagement shoot. The turnaround was quick for our photos and they are absolutely stunning. 10/10 would recommend if you need any sort of photography services! -

Fantastic service and amazing pictures!
Jermaine and Aly did an absolutely fantastic job as our wedding photographers. They were both very responsive to text and email before and after our wedding day. We had a planning meeting with Aly a few weeks before the wedding and she was extremely helpful in coming up with a detailed timeline for our wedding day. She knew that I was really excited to do some sunset pictures so she made sure we hit the golden hour perfectly - and the pictures came out AMAZING! Jermaine and Aly did an outstanding job interacting with our families and making sure that we got every single picture I asked for. Aly sent us a couple photo previews the day after the wedding and I was completely blown away. I would highly recommend working with Jermaine and Aly. -

My family and I loved J Amado Photography! Getting setup with them was so simple, I called and spoke with Jermaine and exchanged a few emails, then booked with him. We signed our contracts and everything was zero contact because of COVID. We had an initial meeting with Aly, our photographer, to go over logistics for the day of the wedding.
However, my fiance got COVID the week before and we had to reschedule. Jermaine was so gracious and rescheduled us without a fuss!! We did a final meeting with Aly and she guided us for day of events. She was very knowledgeable about the area and picked out the photoshoot locations.
Aly was prompt and polite when she arrived, she worked with my in-laws first and they liked her. When we did my family photos beforehand she guided me very well considering I am camera shy. She recreated a photo of my mother and grandmother and it was stunning. Our family is chaotic and she was very honest when we had to make a change in plans immediately after the wedding. We decided last minute to leave the family behind (because time was running out) and do a newlywed shoot and it was perfect. She got the timing perfect with golden hour and she was a pleasure to shoot with! I feel like we all were able to come out of our shells with her.
We even got a day of "sneak peek" photo and ugh it was STUNNING!
Afterward, we got overly excited for our photos and texted Aly, and she was quick to reply. They are stunning. I have never had professional photos and I was shocked at how beautiful the work was.
Our only regret was not having more time with them!! Book them!! -

Elopement Photography Godsend
We contacted them for our elopement ceremony after having to postpone our wedding two times during the pandemic last year. They were super easy to work with during the planning process, while I was still trying to put the pieces together. I was able to book with the owner without having an exact time or location, which helped me be able to worry about one less thing. On my wedding day, Aly appeared when I was getting ready and started taking photos without me even noticing (which is what you want on your wedding day). She fit seamlessly into the environment and I felt very comfortable with her right off the bat. I am more than happy with the photos we got back, and have recommended Aly to anyone who asks for a photographer in the area. -

Jermaine did such an incredible job with our wedding photos and we are extremely happy with the final product! Not only is his work professional and top notch in quality, but his demeanor was perfect for our big day. He can be as flexible and laid back as you'd like, while also really helping to coordinate guests, ensuring you'll capture all of those special memories. He was so sweet, taking my 8-year old daughter under his wing as a little photographer protege that day, keeping her engaged, smiling and laughing, and relieving some of the stress that can come with getting those perfect family shots.
Would highly recommend J. Amado Photography and I know we'll hire him again down the road for family sessions or other special events! -

Amazing, Great, and Wonderful!
Jermaine and Angela were fantastic! We could not say enough good things about how amazing they were for us on our wedding day.
Jermaine made sure to capture all the shots that we requested for our day, and did whatever it took do so. They were both so friendly and professional with us and our guests.
Jermaine did not hesitate to address any of our questions or concerns before, during and even after the wedding.
Let's not forget the quality of his work, which speaks for itself!
If we had to choose a photographer for our wedding all over again, it would be J Amado Photographer every single time. -

Hanging around and smiling for pictures for hours isn’t really my husbands thing, so i came to Jermaine for help capturing our happy day without all the forced smiles and HOLY COW i could not be happier we worked with him!! We had an early morning wedding and he was willing to get up early to accommodate us. 10000000% recommend him, the quality of the pictures are great. -

Aly was our photographer for our engagement photos and our COVID elopement, and we are so happy with our pictures. Aly managed to capture all the emotions of our elopement and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. She was a trooper hiking up to our ceremony spot and dealing with ever-changing Colorado conditions (hail, rain, sun, etc.) Thank you for capturing our special day! -

We contacted Jermaine about 2 months before our big day to inquire about our elopement. Within an hour he had responded via phone call to let us know he was avail for the day we needed and to see what ideas we had in mind.
Not being from the area we told him what kind of pictures we were looking for and what kind of scenery and left it up to him. Over the next couple months as our day approched Jermaine was in continous contact with us as we came up with ideas and locations, and incase of any cancellations due to covid.
The 2 hours that we spent with Jermaine were perfect, he found the best spots, took breath taking photos, and went above and beyond to get perfect shots (hiding in bushes, hanging off rocks etc.).
Hire J and trust us, you will not regret it.....for photos you want forever and that you will have hanging on your walls in every house you own, then there is no other person that will go the extra mile to get the shots that make your day!
He aslo recommended a great Video guy Chris that gave us stunning drone coverage and an amazing 5 min. video of our wedding. Service for J. Amado Photography is top notch. -

We are so happy with our experience with this amazing duo! We reached when we decided to elope in place of our November wedding and had the pleasure of having Alyson as our photographer. With just two weeks to plan, Alyson walked us through details and was readily available to answer our questions, collaborate, and put us at ease. Leading up to the big day, Alyson stayed in close communication with us and did a great job of directing our shoot. Our pictures perfectly capture the joy and love of our wedding, and it's been great to be able to share them with our family and friends who couldn't be with us in person. We hired J Amado Photography right when the craziness for COVID was beginning with the thought in the back of our mind that we may have to change plans. Jermaine understood our hesitance to book a photographer and because of the uncertainty explained that our deposit was refundable for this situation. We ended up cancelling our reception and changing the location and timing of the photographer. Aly was flexible with the change and accommodated our needs. Then, she captured the most beautiful pictures of our intimate wedding and great portraits afterward. Aly was excited to get photos and made us feel comfortable in order to get the photos we wanted. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer and would choose them again in a heartbeat. -

Jermaine helped us on our big day, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how everything went. I've never booked a photographer before, and throughout the whole process he was so prompt and helpful when I had questions via email the day before our wedding. What was especially awesome about Jermaine is how personable he is: both via email and once we met him for the picture-taking, I felt like I've known him and could talk to him comfortably. He has a wonderful personality that shined through the photo process, allowing everyone to naturally smile for all the photos. We're so in love with how the photos all came out! Neither my husband nor I would consider ourselves photogenic, but he made us feel otherwise. I would highly recommend using J Amado for your wedding or any type of photography needs -- we'll be contacting Jermaine again in the future for more portraits! -

Beautiful photos of a perfect day!
When Jermaine did the beautiful engagement photos of my son and daughter in law, we knew we had found our wedding photographer! He captured all of the special moments in a fabulous way. The wedding was a destination wedding without a wedding planner, but Jermaine helped plan out the wedding day and gave options of some lovely places to take the pictures. Josh and Maria chose Cheesman Park and the pictures were gorgeous. We were so fortunate to have found him and his team to do the photos and the video. He was great at communicating and checking in to make sure we knew what we wanted to do. I recommend him 100% and look forward to having him do some family sessions when we travel to Denver again. -

Our wedding was an intimate gathering of a few friends and family at our parish, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Aurora. I had only wanted pictures of our ceremony and Jermaine was so accommodating. Even though we only spent just a few hours together, Jermaine made me, my husband, and our friends and family feel so special. We didn’t take a bunch of unnecessary pictures, like I had requested, but had an eye for the details of a Catholic wedding, that I wouldn’t have thought of.. Our pictures were everything I wanted and more!! Memories we will treasure forever! Thanks Jermaine!

We spoke several times before the big day because he wanted to ensure that we were on the same page and that he had a complete list of our desired shots. Jermaine's rates were incredibly reasonable and he didn't try to up-sell us to a package we didn't need. He was even willing to split his time between the ceremony and reception. Jermaine and his assistant were very creative with their ideas for poses and incorporated our ideas as well. My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with our photos and we've gotten tons of compliments on them! We also love that we own all of our images and are free to print and post away :) -

Affordable, but uncompromising in quality!
Jermaine did an amazing job photographing our wedding! We went with J Amado Photography because it was the most affordable option for our needs and I have to admit, I was worried this would mean our photos would be of lower quality... but that was not at all the case. The photos came out looking so beautiful, so natural, and they so perfectly captured even the smallest details that I'm still amazed we got them at such a reasonable price. We have received a ton of complements from our guests for our wedding photos and I can confidently say that going with J Amado Photography was one of the best decisions I made in all my wedding planning. I am so pleased with the work that Jermaine did and I give him the highest recommendation. -
