Johnathan was absolutely amazing! He kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. I’m from the Bay Area and had my wedding in ATL, and when I tell you he perfectly captured the essence and culture of both cities—he truly did! The energy, the vibe, and the flow were incredible. By the end of the night, I didn’t even realize how much time had passed because everyone was having such a blast. Yes, you will be able to find cheaper DJ's but none that can bring the vibe like him. Your DJ is one of the most important part of your wedding. Do not waste your time. We had an unforgettable night, and I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ experience!

I can’t begin to explain how great J2 entertainment was for our wedding. They were very thoughtful in their planning and collaboration with us prior to our wedding. While all weddings have last minute adjustments, they made sure everything would proceed as smooth as possible. The energy at my wedding was so amazing. I highly recommend them for any event. J^2 brought the fun to our wedding!
Our wedding reception was a blast with J^2 Entertainment! We had them provide music for our entire day (cocktail hour, ceremony, dinner and reception) and we wanted a different vibe for each of them. J^2 delivered on all accounts, and they were so easy to work with. We loved our DJ, and our guests had so much fun on the dance floor. I highly recommend them for your event!

This review is waaay overdue. I got married one year ago & was looking through my wedding photos & I had to give these guys a review. I had been engaged for a few months in 2019 when I attended a wedding in Atlanta with my family. At the wedding my dad was talking to me about what I wanted for my wedding. The DJ got brought up, my dad asked me if these guys would be something I had in mind. I payed more attention to them & I said yes, that they are exactly what I would want. They kept the party going the entire time & really did a great job keeping everything in the timeline straight. My dad got up from the table, went over to the booth, asked if they travel outside of Atlanta for weddings & basically booked them that night! My wedding was supposed to the next April 2020 in Pensacola, FL. Whelp. You guessed it. Covid. These guys stuck with us through our postponed wedding, not once. But twice because of Covid. My wedding reception was really everything I could have asked for. These guys did such a phenomenal job keeping the party going. I don’t think there was one person who attended my wedding who didn’t dance that night. To make things even a little cooler, I found out that night that I had attended the same college as them, Go Blazers! I could not recommend these guys enough!!

Our Wedding Reception was amazing!
Everything was amazing. Very professional, with a light up DJ Booth. The host kept the guest hype, and the music was everything we wanted plus more. The sparklers added and extra “umph”, and the cloud smoke made our first dance photos look amazing. I appreciate that this was a one stop shop for all of my wedding needs. These gentlemen were absolutely amazing they kept everyone on their feet and grooving all night. I couldn’t imagine a better duo DJ Big Twin and AP had the most captivating energy. Incredible!
I’m Venezuelan and my husband is American. For a lot of family, it was going to be the first time meeting. I wanted to stay true to my roots and incorporate traditions, but do so in a way that would merge both cultures. Jhonathon and his team did exactly that. We had an hora loca which was his first time doing and I’ll admit I was nervous at first, but he executed it so well! My family, my husbands family and all of our friends danced the whole night. It was absolutely incredible!

J2 Entertainment from start to finish wowed us with their professionalism. They have several packages to offer a great price. They got to know us both on our initial consultation and asked questions about what type of experience/vibe we wanted to create. It is very important to have vendors that LOVE what they do and that is EXACLTY what Jsmoov and Jay on the Mic provided, they left everything on the dance floor for us. They managed the timeline with the Day of Coordinator extremely well, they executed the ceremony processional and recessional perfectly, speakers and mics were clear and crisp. Transitions into the formal parts of the wedding like dinner, toast, cake, garter/bouquet toss etc were all FLAWLESS. Jay knows how to interact with the crowd, getting tables hype, calling out the cities your guest are from. It is a genuine energy. My guest DID NOT EAT because they were on the dance floor!!!!! This is not your average entertainment company. I gave up flowers and misc. decor to make sure these two were booked for my wedding because it is an experience like no other. Your guest could careless about what centerpieces are on the table because THEY WILL BE ON THE DANCE FLOOR. Do yourself a favor, book a consultation and your will be sold. I cannot thank them enough!!!!

I randomly found J2 on IG a while back before even getting proposed to and something about them just had me hooked and i knew it there and then that they are my pick! I was beyond impressed…my kenyan family was shocked that they aren’t kenyans esp since they tapped into my tribal music! J^2 Entertainment is all around outstanding! I first met them during a wedding I attended for my cousin’s wedding. I instantly said to myself “They have to do my wedding one day!” Little did I know a year later I would be engaged. I told my husband we had to him them and I did not care how much it cost. They are the most entertaining DJ’s I have ever met. Not to mention, their professionalism is A1. They always communicated clearly and showed up on time for each engagement (rehearsal, welcome party, wedding, and yacht party). I cannot wait to use them again!!

Unfortunately, I was only able to use Jay as the emcee for my wedding reception (due to venue restrictions) and he did not disappoint! He kept the energy high and kept the evening moving right along. He was the ultimate professional and filled all the requests I made before and during my wedding reception. My guests had so many great things to say about him. I can only imagine if my venue would’ve allowed me to have both Jay and Johnathon how much more wonderful my reception would’ve been. I hesitated at first hiring an emcee, thinking that my DJ would’ve been enough but I’m so glad I went a step further and found an emcee. It was an amazing experience and can’t wait to use them for my next event.

G.O.A.T Greatest Of All Time
I could not have chosen better DJ’s/Emcees for my wedding than J^2 Entertainment because it doesn’t get any better than these 2 gentleman. I met with them prior to my big day and they were extremely professional. Everything I told them that I wanted to hear, they played and then some. The host is hilarious. I replay my wedding videos just to laugh. The cannon smoke guns and the cold sparkler effects were amazing! The vibe was crazy! I did not want to leave the dance floor when it was time for me to change into my second dress. I honestly hate that I did because I missed another lit session and some of my favorite songs. My wedding planner had to tell me that it was time to wrap it up and she gave me the look of death when I told her that I wanted to extend the wedding. That’s just how much fun all of my guests were having. We did not want the night to end. I would recommend J^2 Entertainment a thousand times over. Believe me you will not be disappointed!

I cannot recommend J2 enough! We engaged them for DJ, MC, lighting, and 360 photo booth services for our ceremony and reception. They were exceptional despite the fact that our venue required music inside (upstairs and downstairs) and outside, and there were several unexpected challenges that they had to work through on the spot, all of this during COVID. They are proactive problem solvers who executed all of our requests. Our guests enjoyed themselves, and we would absolutely work with them again.

When I say these two men are phenomenal I literally mean it. They knew exactly the vibe I wanted for my wedding. Not one person was sitting down and that’s exactly how I wanted it for my reception. The crowd was hype and of course DJ & MC. Being from NYC & my wife being from the south there were certain genres of music we wanted played. Thank you for making our wedding day awesome. I cannot tell you enough how impressed I was with J2. They were so attentive and helpful leading up to the wedding and made the night so amazing! We had a fusion wedding and they listened to every single detail we asked of them which was not easy! They managed to have every single person on the dance floor! I hate dancing and they made it so much fun and I was out there all night. The best part for me was there was not one cheesy part of the night which can often happen with wedding DJs. I wish I could put more into words on how amazing these guys were but all I can say is do not hesitate! This is coming from a bride who always thought I wanted a band at my wedding and I am so glad i listened to my planner because they are way better than any band we could of had. I think we literally had the most fun wedding any of our guests had ever been to and it was because of these guys. Also, get the smoke on the dance floor! It was better than I ever imagined!

Two Times the Fun! J2 is the Best!!
J2 are exceptional and they really go out of their way to create a memorable experience. During the reading of my vows, my husband said something about my style and J 2 quickly incorporate his funny remarks into a song that fit my “style”! They were super professional and aside from my dress, I’m still receiving compliments from my guest about J2. If you are on the fence, let me reassure you hiring J2 will be money well spent. Professional and beyond expectations
I truly enjoyed working with them. They requested a meeting to go over our vision and expectations and nailed everything plus more. They were super nice, down to earth and kept the party going. Everyone at my wedding said that the music was amazing and they didn’t want it to end. Family members that we have never seen on a dance floor were out there having a ball! I would definitely recommend and use them for future events.

More than a DJ and MC... a great experience for all to remember
If you want your wedding to be memorable, fun, and an all-around great time then look no further than DJ J-Smoov and Jay on the Mic. Not only were they professional, punctual, and a pleasure to get to know, but they ensured that our wedding was memorable and a great time. It was very important to us that the reception for our wedding would be a great time for all age groups, while also showcasing our love for 90’s R&B and Hip Hop classics with a mix of popular hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s. Our guests danced all night. DJ J-Smoov and Jay on the mic even ensured that our guests were able to sing along with some of their favorite hits while grooving in their seats during dinner. There was never a dull moment as they kept the energy high and fun hearted the entire evening. Leading up to our big day we had constant contact and were able to discuss our ideas and curate the vibe that we would like on our wedding day. Everything was executed masterfully! The best dj & mc in the industry
I’d like to start off by saying thank you x a million to Johnathon and Jay for making our wedding spectacular! Music is probably one of the most important and memorable things about your wedding day and thanks to this amazing duo we had such a great time. We got married 12/2/19 and I’m still getting phone calls about how much fun everyone had at our wedding Thanks to them. My mom called me and said she wants to get married again just so she can hire Johnathon and Jay! That alone spoke volumes to me. From the beginning when I spoke to Johnathon he was so kind, attentive, informative and very quick with his responses. No matter what I asked or how many emails I sent he never got tired of me .. Months went by before I booked but I remembered how kind he was and so personable that I knew I wanted them to be our entertainment. Their professional was top notch and they pay close attention to detail. Johnathon spoke with us about his other services including up lighting, gobo and fog ! We went with all 3 and it’s probably the best decision we ever made. The lightening set the tone for night and really made us have that romantic vibe.. oh and the fog was a show stopper. Everyone was so amazed and it looked magical. That really made our first dance a moment to remember. I can honestly

Let me start by saying you have never had an experience like the J Smoov experience! Awesome throughout the process from planning through execution. The setup was professionally done. The team worked well with the coordinator and in the space provided and time allotted. They took our random uncertainty and pieced together song lists and did something amazing! The emcee was well worth it as he danced, joked and kept the crowd engaged. We had a non-traditional reception as we had already eloped a few weeks prior but you would have never known it. Great experience! Great team! I highly recommend them individually and collectively.

We would def recommend this company to ANYONE we know looking to have a party filled with fun and excitement. They were on time and ready to set up as soon as they arrived. My husband and I love how they made our wedding feel like it was the only thing they had going on even though I know they were busy servicing other couples. J2 ENT. Johnathon & Jadrien literally KILLED it! From the All-White Party to the Ceremony to the Reception AND the After Party....at no point was the crowd not having a blast. I would highly recommend J ^2 Entertainment for your special occasion needs! We utilized his DJ skills during the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception, MC Jay on the mic, and uplighting in the reception room. Trying to find a good, affordable DJ was beginning to become overwhelming but thankfully our wedding planner Raven J recommended him to us! Music and the overall vibe were the most important thing we wanted to be amazing at our wedding. There’s nothing worse than a lame, boring wedding where your guests aren’t engaged and having a good time. It’s supposed to be a party for celebration!
Johnathan and Jay were a pleasure to work with and remained professional during our interactions. Their initial meeting with us was super helpful and made us feel like our vision for the day was being heard. They allowed us to provide a list of songs and really explain the vibe we wanted to create.
On our wedding day, Johnathan and Jay did an amazing job! We received sooo many compliments from our guests on how great the DJ and MC were. They played music to keep everyone on the floor and engaged with them as well. Thanks again for helping make our special day one to remember forever.

I contacted DJ Smoov at the last minute in a complete panic I was in need of a mix tape in order to do a dance routine for my groom at my reception. I was having a studio choreograph our moves but did not know I had to supply the mixed songs. He jumped right in and got started the very next day. DJ Smoov made the hottest mixtape I've heard in a long time, even the dance instructor was asking who did my music. I definitely will recommend him he made the changes I needed it to shorten the mix because I had bitten off more than I can chew as far as dance moves lol. He did this with no hesitation and was very professional with my changes. He took his time to figure out what made me happy in my songs and all of his mixes transitioned wonderfully thank you DJ smoove

DJ JSmoov is probably the best wedding DJ I’ve ever experienced. He did both mine and my sister’s weddings and they were both PHENOMENAL. He can work any crowd at any time of day (my reception was earlier in the day and everyone still danced and had a blast). He listened well to what we were going for in our pre-wedding meeting. He really tried to get a feel for who we were as a couple, and then make that shine the night of. It was awesome. Hands down best one we’ve ever seen. Okay so my husband and I had some high standards for what we were expecting, and were very non-traditional in our idea of music for our wedding reception. We wanted nothing that was expected (yes that includes Bruno Mars, Journey, and any/all line dancing or synchronized choreography), and to say that these guys delivered is an UNDERSTATEMENT.
Come to find out, these two are best friends, and it shows in their process leading up to the wedding as well as how they show up for your big day. They were professional, organized, and pricing was very reasonable. We chose the package with the globo light and i thought it was going to be on the floor-well it was on the ceiling and was a killer sight for photos and made the place look incredible!!
They wanted to know as much about us and what we wanted as possible, and above all they FOLLOWED UP. I spent time interviewing other DJ's that spent more time talking about their company and what they did, sending me videos and galleries of exactly what we wanted to avoid, "the expected playlist".
Not only will we refer DJ SMOOV in the future for anyone in our network, but trying to find another excuse to use them ourselves!! :) Truly an unforgettable night with an environment that was absolutely perfect for our big day!! Our guest were so impressed with the music choices for the ceremony and how each song transition so smoothly, (I guess that’s why they call you J-Smooth) lol. they are still talking about it to this day. Thank you for making our wedding everything we wanted and more ! !! You are truly talented ????

We absolutely LOVED DJ Smoov, with J^2 Entertainment. Our wedding was so much fun and almost everyone was on the dance floor the entire time! We had a big family-friendly wedding and wanted him to play lots of fun oldies songs. We gave him a few ideas but he came up with an awesome playlist and really got the dance party going (without being obnoxious- I hate obnoxious DJ's). He was great and so personable to work with. Most DJ's ask you what kind of music you want and then don't really listen to you, but DJ Smoov really listened to us and then took what we said we wanted and made it an awesome party! I've already had at least 3 friends ask me for his contact info. for their own weddings.

DJ JSmoov provided the best music experience I have had in a long time! The DJ gave a wide variety of music and kept the guest on the dance floor the whole event. We had such a fantastic time dancing and laughing!

The absolute BEST DJ/MC Duo ever! So much that I recommend JSmoov to everyone I know. He made our wedding experience amazing...I wouldn’t have the memories I do if it wasn’t for him!

When my wife and I met with Johnathon, we were quickly put at ease. Reception music was a big concern of ours, and he not only gave us exactly what we were hoping for, he exceeded our expectations. He's friendly, professional, and fun, and he was a big part of our unforgettable day.

Out the blue he canceled 9 days before my wedding!! They are saying i have to wait 10 days to get my money back. So i have to find and pay another DJ out my own pocket. Ridiculous!!
I booked this DJ 3 months in advance and once we were a month out i had not heard from him so i had to reach out. After that call took place, we requested for him to send us a few songs from a specific genre ( jazz) that we wanted. He was very reluctant and go cocky saying we are the best, my other clients don't request i send them stuff they just trust us. He even was downing other DJs and saying because we've been to one of their wedding we should know what they have to offer etc. i still insisted because there was a specific sound i was going for so he took another 3+ days and send me 4 jazz songs. Good thing i asked because I only liked the first one so i let him know i only want him to songs similar to the first one. He got offended that i was refining my music selection for MY wedding and sent me an email saying that he can't provide what I'm looking for and will be canceling his services for my wedding! Keep in mind this is 9 days out and I've PAID him already. So now i have to find and PAY another DJ in 9 days!
The most conniving thing I've ever experienced! DJs should never be that cocky and then can't deliver a certain sound. He may be a nice guy but he's inconsistent and unprofessional. No one should have to worry about finding a DJ last minute on there wedding day. I would give 0 stars if i could!
