Extraordinary Coordination and Planning Service!
Our wedding day was a dream come true, and we owe its success to our exceptional wedding coordinator, Amanda. We hired Amanda for both partial planning and day of coordination and it was honestly the best decision we could have made, especially planning a wedding in San Diego while we live in Florida.
From our very first meeting, Amanda demonstrated an unwavering commitment to turning our vision into reality. Her meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and boundless creativity were instrumental in making our special day absolutely perfect.
Amanda skillfully managed every aspect of our wedding, from coordinating with vendors to ensuring the timeline flowed seamlessly. Her ability to handle unexpected challenges with grace and a calm demeanor kept us stress-free.
What truly stood out was Amanda's dedication to understanding our unique style and preferences. She translated our ideas into a beautifully executed event that captured our personalities and love story.

Amanda and her assistant were amazing! They were very thoughtful and made sure that alll leftover decorations (and even the top layer of our wedding cake) were delivered to us after the event. They even made us a very cute instagram video right at the event using our walk-up song as the background music!! They gave us space during the event but also made sure to show up at the right place/time throughout the entire wedding.
I was very thankful that Amanda was ALWAYS on my side throughout the entire wedding planning. At the wedding rehearsal in front of all my wedding parties, she reinterated several times "don't forget to smile because we don't want to ruin the thousands dollars of photographer money". I LOVE HER FOR THAT. That is something that I never wanted to bring up in front of my bridesmaids but she chose to become the "bad guy".
Overall, I highly recommend Amanda and her service!! -

Exceptional and beyond my expectations!
Amanda is a BOSS! She went above and beyond for us from start to finish. First off, she helped us find our perfect venue in Desert Hot Springs when we really had no idea what we wanted. She got to know us from our likes/dislikes, personality styles, with her own creative flare and suggestions, and most importantly was always transparent with us regarding everything you can imagine (clothing, decor, weather, dress, shoes, suits, photography, vendors, pricing, florals, music, you name it!). She corresponded not only with other vendors, but anyone/anything involved in our wedding plans which took a load of tasks off our already busy plate. I never had to question her professionalism or if she would getting anything done for us. I trust her whole heartedly and she is a wonderful, knowledgeable, creative, hip, human! She also advised me on how to communicate with other professionals in the industry to make the best and most wise decision. She answered texts/calls practically immediately, even while she was on vacation out of the country.
I had a horrible experience with the bridal shop, Here Comes The Bride, which Amanda told me "I wish I would've known you planned to look for a dress there as I would have told you not to." I selected this store to look for my wedding dress because they allowed for a large group to accompany me on that special day to pick one out. PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM HERE COMES THE BRIDE! They were not transparent with me regarding my dress arrival, it arrived two weeks before my wedding DAMAGED and it would not have been ready in time for my wedding day. Amanda not only supported me in navigating solutions, she hopped in the car and came with me to the store twice, to demands answers. She was not going to leave the store without one. She also came with me to pick out a backup dress last minute at LUV Bridal.
My fiance and I ultimately chose a "micro wedding" at a venue that has their own coordinator and vendors so technically, Amanda could no longer be involved in the "day of" wedding planning but that did not end her services. She has artistically created several designs for our seating chart, table numbers, signature drink (she put our cat and dog phots into an artsy menu), etc. But literally on the spot she had it done, no longer than a couple hours.
I am beyond impressed and incredibly grateful to have had her be my wedding planner and hopefully long time friend. I love you, Amanda! You Rock Sauce!!! -

I loved working with Amanda so much! She made the day of and everything leading up to the wedding so easy. We hired her as our day of coordinator but she also provided us with a timeline of when things needed to be done beforehand and had a great list of vendor recommendations. Our wedding day went so smoothly and that is all thanks to Amanda. -

I found Amanda about 10 months before our wedding. I had was about as clueless as could be going into all of this. Amanda helped us out and then some. She went far above and beyond what we thought a "Day of coordinator" would do. We met with her many many times throughout the months leading up to the wedding, we were in constant communication over the course of the 10 months. She would check in with us to help us plan things and make sure we were on the right track. The day of the wedding she was amazing, she helped decorate with our mothers and grandparents and the venue looked incredible. She helped make one of the most stressful days of your life, happen effortlessly. Amanda is awesome, 10/10 would recommend! -

Amanda is the best!
We found Amanda on Wedding Wire and we are so thankful we did!!! Our initial chat with Amanda was to understand her services and our needs and how she can best make our day run smoothly. We had just shy of 10 months to plan our wedding & knew that we wanted a Day of Coordinator since we live in the bay area but were getting married in SD. Amanda was all hands on deck from day 0!!! Upon hiring Amanda, we had an initial meeting where she laid out a timeline with homework on check points to ensure that we are running to speed towards our big day. She continued to have monthly check in meetings with us to see our progress and was also available over email and text whenever we had a question or needed some guidance/professional opinion! Amanda was so easy to work with and communicate with - & made planning our wedding as stress free as possible. She even reviewed all our vendor contracts to ensure nothing looks funky prior to us signing anything!! She also had a list of preferred vendors for us to utilize if needed.
Leading into the month of our wedding, Amanda took over as point of contact for all our vendors & ensured all final details were ticked and tied. The day of our wedding went COMPLETELY SMOOTHLY, even when tiny hiccups happened, Amanda and her team pulled through and alleviated any stress or crisis leaving both bride and groom staying present and in the moment on our big day! She even had a full game plan on how to get our dog Rosko back to our hotel suite after the ceremony (where he was our ring bearer) so that we didn't have to worry who was going to watch him at the reception!!!
We loved having her on our big day and throughout our planning process. Whether you are looking for a full planner or a day of coordinator, we highly HIGHLY recommend Amanda, SHE IS THE BEST!!!! -

We are so grateful for all that Amanda did to help plan and coordinate our wedding!! We had a lot of moving parts, and Amanda kept us organized from start to finish. She respected our vision while also offering recommendations, and as a result our wedding turned out even better than we pictured it would be! Our family and friends had a blast, and we were able to enjoy the day without stress knowing that Amanda had everything taken care of. Amanda was also very flexible in the planning process and was able to accommodate our odd work hours to minimize any conflicts or stress. We are so glad that we booked Amanda for help executing my design ideas and as our day of coordinator! She made sure our day went smoothly and everything was set up beautifully! She was there to answer my panicked calls throughout the planning process, and helped to keep my emotions calm and tackle every obstacle that came our way. When our original wedding date had to move a week before the wedding due to Covid, Amanda reassured me that everything would be fine and offered assistance in making sure everything was set for our new date!
The day of the wedding went so smoothly and we had the absolute BEST time! If there were any problems, I never knew of them, which helped for a stress free wedding day! Upon clean up, my vases I had purchased somehow got left behind. Amanda was kind enough to go above and beyond by picking them up from the venue and shipping them out to me while I was on my honeymoon! I could not have been more thankful!!! -

Amanda was the best coordinator we could've asked for. I'm seriously tearing up writing this and my wedding was months ago. If you are thinking that you might not need a coordinator - please do yourself a favor and hire Amanda - I promise YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I was in the camp of thinking I could do it all myself - I was so wrong. Mind you I plan things for a living so I thought it would be fine. Nope.
If you want to actually enjoy your day you need a coordinator. I am someone who needs to know every possible option before I make a decision, so I did a ton of research and talked to a LOT of coordinators until I finally found Amanda ( so i've already done the vetting for you :) ) . She was so responsive to what I was looking for and had amazing vendor recommendations and designs. She's honest and decisive and kept us to our timeline. My now husband and I were both pretty busy with work, so I kept pushing some of the wedding planning to the side and she was such a help keeping us on track and making sure we didn't drop any balls. Now for day of... I'm afraid to know what our wedding would have been if she wasn't there.. I honestly think it would've been a disaster. I had so many little things that I wanted to add to the day and Amanda took everything I had brought in boxes and created the perfect wedding. Like better than I imagined. She filled in all the gaps I didn't have time to fill with her amazing sense of design and execution and made sure I was relaxed and happy the entire day. She coordinated with all of the vendors and made sure everything was set up perfectly - I didn't have to think about it at all (you won't even have time to - it;s true the day really does fly by). She set up the centerpieces and all the décor including my slightly extravagant hanging name/table indicators. Anything I thought might be missing, she already figured it out. Things I wanted to include but thought might be unnecessary, she encouraged me to do and even executed herself without question to ensure I had the best most meaningful experience. At one point someone spilled their drink on the dancefloor and within a few seconds Amanda had found the mop and was mopping the floor herself. And those are just a list of a few things. She was 10 steps ahead of everyone. I promise, you do not want to do these things yourself. I thought I would because I think I can do everything myself and I was wrong. Your wedding day should be magical and stress free and Amanda will make that happen for you. Best decision we made. We love you, Amanda!! Thank you for everything. -

Like many couples whose weddings were disrupted by the pandemic, we never thought we would be in the position to plan not one but two events, a "micro" wedding in 2020, and then a larger wedding in 2021 once it was safe to do so. Amanda walked us through both events and went out of her way to guide us through the emotionally complicated landscape that was having to postpone our wedding several times. We were so happy with both of our events and appreciative of all the extra work Amanda put in to make our day(s) unforgettable. It truly was the best day ever, twice! -

Amanda was the best choice we made in our entire wedding planning process. My husband and I live in Texas and were wanting to have our vow renewal in San Diego. She made the entire process seamlessly easy, to include still coordinating and keeping me in the loop while I was deployed in Afghanistan. The year spent planning our vow renewal with her leading made the day of exceptionally beautiful. Amanda was recommended to me by my hairdresser. I was the mother of the bride. We jumped into planning just as large events were again being allowed following Covid vaccine availability, just 6 months before the wedding. We wanted to do some of the planning tasks ourselves and she provided a preferred vendor list, and guidance on cost, prioritization, etc. Her connections with the vendors helped with our negotiation of prices. My daughter tends to procrastinate and Amanda gently but firmly kept her on track, which also avoided tension between my daughter and I so we could enjoy the process together more. On the day of the wedding Amanda and her team set up the venue and coordinated all the vendors. We didn’t have to worry about anything and the wedding turned out perfectly. I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda. She is the best! -

Amanda worked extremely hard for us. She pushed our procrastinator selves to meet the needed timelines, helped us find our venue and other incredible vendors to work with for food, flowers, and photography, and was constantly doing little things throughout the day of the event itself to ensure everything went smoothly. One of my friends even said that Amanda walked up to her while she was sitting down to ask if she was ok. My friend said yes, just taking a break from my heels…and Amanda brought her an extra pair of flats so she could get back on the dance floor! Our wedding went so smoothly that we were able to focus only on having a great time, and we definitely have Amanda to thank for that. -

Life saver!
Amanda was absolutely incredible! She was hired a month before the wedding after having a falling out with our original planner, she came in and immediately took charge and got things done that still needed to be completed. Day of the wedding she was an absolute rock star, she was able to create the vision I had in my head and make it even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I am so incredibly glad that I found her and she was there for our wedding day to make it all come together and be fabulous! I cannot recommend her enough to anyone that is in need! -

Hiring Amanda as our wedding planner and day of coordinator was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding day.
From start to finish, everything was a dream. She was realistic regarding our budget and helped to creatively curate our vision of a 1920s beach chic wedding in La Jolla Village.
You can really tell how much she loves her job and puts her heart into making people’s wedding dreams come true. She attended to so many details I would have never seen/or known of-like textures and color palettes of table linen, flower combinations in the bouquets, and making sure the website and invitations had every detail for the wedding to lessen the texts/calls leading up to the day.
Her knowledge of the vendorstook a huge burden off of us, and each vendor went above and beyond our expectations as well-quality attracts quality!
The day of our wedding flew by, but because she was there to help, everyone was taken care of and everything was handled flawlessly. Her timeline helped us to know where we needed to be, and because she was so organized, we never felt rushed and were able to enjoy our wedding as we wanted. I sincerely recommend hiring Amanda, her talent and caring will make your most special day exquisite!

I was one of those brides that thought “I don’t need a planner! I can do it all myself”… boy, I was wrong! There are so many little things that you don’t even think about when planning a wedding & Amanda was there every step of the way. Her expertise & professionalism blew me away. Highly Recommend!
Amanda is a wonderful wedding planner! She was extremely organized, provided helpful tips and creative ideas all along the way, shared great vendors, helped us work within our budget, supported our vision and did everything required to make it happen! She went above and beyond to get all the details worked out. Also, she was genuinely fun to be around and talk to. The day of went so smoothly, all thanks to her.
We thought we could do the planning ourselves but quickly realized that even a simple wedding requires tons of work to put together. We were getting stressed and overwhelmed, and Amanda was the best choice we made! She was on top of everything and is so great at what she does! -

If you think you can do it all and keep your sanity, do your future-self a favor and hire Amanda. She thinks of the logistics you can’t because she has done this many many times. She is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding(s). First of all let me say, my brain is not made for wedding planning. You can Pinterest all day, and think you like something, until you see it. That was my problem, I thought I knew what I wanted... turns out I had NO IDEA what I wanted, and could only recognize what I didn’t like. (A wedding coordinators night mare I’m sure.) Still, Amanda was extremely helpful in trying to pin down an overall concept, helping me stay on task, prioritize, and provide a lot of helpful recommendations and accommodations to make sure it turned out amazing. It is also important to note we had our ceremony 2 months before our reception.. which basically means we planned two weddings. We had hired Amanda as a Day of coordinator.. she went FAR beyond that and was crucial to the execution of both weddings. We also had an awful experience with trying to nail down a room block (over 7 months of hell) and at the end of the day it turned out they still had it wrong just weeks before the reception. Amanda stepped in and took it over ensuring all that we were originally promised was fulfilled. Everything was flawless and their room accommodations were spectacular! If you are on the fence of getting a coordinator, get one. Hire Amanda, because the stress that starts to creep in that last month, only intensifies. Little things went wrong (as they always do) and all she said was “don’t worry about it, I’ve got it.” We were all able to enjoy the best day(s) of our life! We can’t thank you enough Amanda! -

Weddings can be very stressful, expensive, and very detailed oriented. However, with the help from Amanda, she made the process very efficient, worry free, and fun! I had a cultural, Vietnamese-American wedding which meant there were a lot of opinions. Amanda was very open minded, patient, and respectful which allowed me to mold the two customs into something that felt comfortable to me and my husband. I couldn't have had a better experience working with Amanda. I spoke to a few highly recommended wedding planners, and while I came in with photos and what I thought were clear ideas of what I wanted, I felt like all of them put more of their own personality into their suggestions that considering my own desires and wishes. Working with Ivory & Lace turns my wishes into reality, and made the whole process SO FUN and not at all stressful. From start to finish, I felt like Amanda was a little bit psychic and also my very best friend. She understood what I needed, listened to what I wanted, made remarkable suggestions and her creativity, patience, and vision made my wedding day absolutely perfect. I don't even feel like it was real, and of all of my girlfriends experiences- we all agree mine was the best so far. -

Planning a wedding is never easy but it was made easier and less stressful by just having Amanda there to consult. She helped with all of my decisions if needed and always had creative ideas while be consciousness of our budget. Amanda is also great with being prepared for any last minute change(s) or desired necessities. On the day-of, it was so relieving to know that she was there because I knew (while I was sipping a mimosa and getting my hair done) that things were being taken care of and running smoothly. She was very detail oriented and made sure that my check-list was completed. She was my venue's "go-to" if they had any questions which cut me out of the things I probably didn't need to hear while I was enjoying my wedding. If you like check-lists, getting ideas from someone, getting quick responses, and knowing that your wedding will run smoothly because of your coordinator, I highly recommend Ivory & Lace!

We are so grateful that Ivory and Lace Creative came to our rescue. Amanda not only understood our vision but helped us to achieve it without breaking the bank! Her creativity blew us away and our decor was next level. If anything went wrong day-of, we had no idea. She took care of EVERYTHING and made sure it was the perfect day for us. Amanda Eggers is a life saver. Period.
As my husband and I first naively thought - of course, we can handle wedding planning all by ourselves. We were meeting vendors, scouting venues, looking at fabric samples, building Pinterest boards, and soon assembled our dream team. Before we knew it, our day was coming together and we were so proud of ourselves for everything we had planned.
But as soon as we hit the 6 month mark, panic began to set in and only grew as we counted down the days.
With more and more appointments and deadlines approaching we soon realized we were in waaaaay over our heads. (Thankfully we didn't miss a payment, appointment, or anything important) But around this time our chaos and stress were approaching new levels. And with tension building, the bickering/arguing began to be more frequent between my husband and I.
If you didn't know by now... money and budget are probably the biggest deciding factor for your "dream" wedding day. If you didn't know - you should stick to your budget.
I'm not saying I didn't stick to my budget - I did. In fact, I was under. But my husband had the understanding that if we didn't spend the money for the budgeted item, then the money shouldn't be spent at all.
I disagreed. I see the budget an anticipated guideline of spending, with an overall goal to not surpass the intended TOTAL amount. Initially, a wedding planner/coordinator was NOT in our budget - but with everything building and stress increasing, I NEEDED A WEDDING PROFESSIONAL.
But fast forward to two months before our BIG day. I was having a mini-meltdown as I was trying to balance work with different payments due at least 3 times during the week, bi-weekly and weekly calls with certain vendors, video calls with our wedding party, emails with hotels, and every little issue coming in from our families near and far. And it was this exact moment where I defined that all of my chaos ensued.
Enough was enough. I needed help!
In comes the hero to our story, Amanda Eggers!
It took one phone call with Amanda and we were sold. Not only was she recommended by our venue, but her ability to sense my stress and anxiety and put me to ease within a phone call was unbelievable.
As a person, and a bride, I am a type A person. Everything had a place and everything was to completed a certain way. Amanda respected that and was up for the challenge.
HER SERVICE OFFERING IS A STEAL. Please understand, we contracted Ivory and Lace for ONLY Day Of Coordination, but Amanda and her team made themselves available weeks/months before the day. I often ran ideas, questions, and concerns by her during the last stages of our planning process. And she was present as a handful of our venue coordination meetings as well.
She organized my chaos. Understanding the type of person I am she sent over forms and templates that not only helped her execute on day of, but gave me some sort an assemblence for everything that went on and all the unknown details that were floating in my brain.
WEDDING REHEARSAL. Amanda was a dream and took charge in a kind, approachable, yet authoritative manner. Our families are large and full of characters, thus it is often difficult to wrangle and organize such a enthusiastic bunch. (and they aren't too fond of being quiet listening when there are a handful around) But she held her own and ran the show. She gave direction and built valuable rapport with our family members. After running the entrance, ceremony, and recessional 3 times were done! She answered everyone's questions and we finished rehearsal in 30 mins!
Shortly after rehearsal, we went over the timeline and details of the wedding day and that was it. She said the 4 most magical words I had EVER heard throughout the wedding process..."I've got it handled."
DAY OF. When I say she organized my chaos and was a superhero, I mean it. I can honestly say that there wasn't a minute of our wedding day where I felt an ounce of stress. Somehow in the few weeks I worked with Amanda she had formed this secret trust with my soul that even I didn't know about. I just had this confidence out of no where that I didn't need to worry because Amanda was handling it.
Thoroughout my entire wedding day I was present. I wasn't thinking about vendors or placesettings - I was smiling and laughing with my bridesmaids. I was relaxed as I was getting my hair and makeup done. I got to enjoy, live and breathe every second of our wedding day because the Ivory and Lace team not only understood what the day meant for me and my husband, but they allowed us to make the memories and relish in the sweet moments.
In my eyes my wedding day went off without a hitch. I didn't have any problems. There weren't any fires. I didn't have a single problem and there were no issues. I had absolutely no stress. Is that the real truth? I wouldn't know because Amanda Eggers and the team at Ivory and Lace are just that amazing.
