Ivette and Sadira were absolutely amazing to work with. They absolutely blew me away when I saw my bridesmaids hair and makeup even before I sat down for my own. I trusted them to make my vision come to life- the only word I gave Ivette was "glowy" and what she gave me was above and beyond. I felt so beautiful and I got so many compliments on both my hair and my makeup! I would highly recommend them to anyone! -

Working with Ivett from Makeup by Ivett was an absolute dream! From the moment we reached out, she was incredibly responsive and attentive, making sure she understood all of my styling requests. She truly has a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every bridesmaid’s makeup was flawless and exactly how they envisioned it. Ivett also created the perfect getting-ready atmosphere with an amazing playlist that had everyone in a fun, celebratory mood. Her professionalism, talent, and ability to make everyone feel beautiful and relaxed made her an essential part of our wedding day. I was lucky to have had Lulu do my makeup when I was a bridesmaid for another friend's VA wedding. I felt so beautiful and loved her natural glam style. So when I was looking for someone to do my bridal makeup for November 2024, I knew I wanted to work with Lulu. Lulu and Ivett were so responsive in our comms. The makeup trial I did was so helpful and exactly what I asked for - and on the day of my wedding it was even better! She also did my mom's makeup, who is not very comfortable with getting her makeup done - she made her look and feel amazing! I am so grateful to both Lulu and Ivett for being part of my wedding - hire them, you won't regret it!! -

Let me cut to the chase - you will not find a better wedding day HMU experience than with Ivett and her team!
I booked Ivett for both my engagement shoot (trial) and wedding day. On both occasions, Ivett was the definition of professionalism. She was timely with her responses, collaborative and communicative with our bridal looks, flexible with scheduling/travel, and an overall pleasure to work with.
On the wedding day, Ivett and Sadira did HMU for myself, 7 bridesmaids, my mother, and even let me add on my grandmother for hair-do at the last minute! They worked efficiently without cutting corners and were a fun addition in our bridal suite. They made us look and feel beautiful. My bridal look lasted from noon until past 1 AM and made it through photos in the pouring rain, lots of dancing, and even our afterparty at the club. And in an odd twist of events, when one of our vendors completely bailed last minute, both women provided comforting and reassuring advice. Special shoutout to Sadira whose words of wisdom were priceless and dictated the entire rest of my wedding day (which was perfect).
In summary, Makeup by Ivett was one of the best, most worthwhile decisions I made for my wedding day as a whole and I can't recommend this vendor enough. -

Ivett was an absolute dream to work with. She worked with me to create a wedding day look that exceeded all my expectations. She truly knows how to crush the "natural glam" look and does it effortlessly. She was professional and took the time to get to know me personally prior to my event. She got along well with my bridal party and family during the morning of my wedding as well. My mom, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids were beyond pleased with their wedding day makeup as well! Ivett was a joy to work with and I would highly recommend her to future brides!
Lillian did wedding day hair for myself, my mom, my mother-in-law, and all of my bridesmaids. They each showed her a picture of the look they wanted, and Lillian made their hair look exactly like the picture they chose. I have never seen a hair stylist be able to do this before I worked with Lillian. I chose an updo and have always had an issue getting my hair professionally done, but Lillian did a beautiful job and put me at ease. I would definitely recommend Lillian to future brides as well! She is beyond talented and has the kindest heart. Ivett and Lillian are the dream team you want for your wedding day! -

Not only is Ivett and absolutely INSANELY TALENTED makeup artist, she is an absolute sweetheart. She is just the right amount of fun and calm. She helped me chill out and maintain a very relaxed mindset throughout my wedding day.
I loved getting to have fun convos with her and she plays the best music in her studio!
She is highly trained and can do any style you need, she is the BEST!! -

Incredibly talented & professional
I cannot say enough good things about Ivett and her crew! I hired her to do makeup for me and all the women in my wedding party. She made it so much fun and really added to the excitement of getting all dressed up for the big day.
My mom and mother-in-law are still raving about how she took years and pounds off of them and how much they love the wedding photos (like a lot of women they’re too self-critical and usually hate all pictures of themselves).
She was so warm and professional and is absolutely worth more than she charges. You will not regret hiring her! -

Ivett, Sadira, and Zee all made sure that me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law looked stunning for the big day! They worked with a wide variety of requests, from bridesmaids who wanted a subtle, natural look, to those who wanted full glam, and made sure everyone was comfortable and happy with their look. Ivett was also super flexible and helpful when I had to change my wedding date due to Covid, and still made it onsite bright and early! My hair and makeup lasted through a July heatwave to boot! Amazing Make-Up and Hair Artist for Engagement Pics!
I reached out to Ivett through WeddingWire for hair and make-up for my engagement shoot. We had lot of unknowns with the weather and COVID, but she was flexible and worked with us. I asked her for a "soft glam" look and she definitely delivered. I got tons of compliments on my engagement pictures for hair and make up. She did a great job highlighting and accentuating my natural features. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the future. -

My dream wedding HMU!
I am so happy I found Ivett! After Covid ruined my original wedding plans, I planned a last minute elopement in WV. I had no clue how I would find an available hair and makeup artist, let alone one as talented as Ivett! I am so thankful she was available for my date, she was very professional and so sweet. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my life!! My makeup stayed in place all day, even being able to withstand so many tears!! If you want the most beautiful makeup/hair and to hangout with the sweetest soul I would highly recommend you book Ivett! She even gave me a little goodie bag for touch ups the day of, she is so thoughtful. Thank you Ivett for making me feel like the most beautiful bride that day! I want to have another event just so I could book her again!! -

My original makeup artist cancelled on me last minute due to COVID/health concerns and so she put me in touch with Ivett. Ivett made herself available and did my makeup, my mother and mother in law, and my sister in law. All of us thought she did a fabulous job. Eye lash extensions are included in the price. Although I was initially hesitant, they looked beautiful and natural, as did the rest of the makeup! I recommend Ivett for anyone looking for a natural, beautiful look! -

I don't wear much makeup or do complicated things with my hair in my everyday life, so I knew that I needed to find an expert to help me on my wedding day. I did a hair and makeup trial with Ivett and Sadira and put myself in their capable hands. I knew that I wanted a natural look while still looking good for photos, and they totally delivered! Ivett and Sadira came over to my house on the day of the wedding and did a great job with the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and myself. Everyone looked stunning!
My makeup stayed intact throughout the ceremony, which was great because crying was a real danger, but Ivett gave me a touch-up makeup kit just in case repairs were needed. My hair also stayed in place the whole night!
I definitely recommend working with Ivett and Sadira. They are nice and great at their jobs. Thanks for making my day so perfect! -

Amazing MakeUp!
Ivett, was hands down the best make up artist! After a long search for quiality makeup I was greatful to find Ivett! She was very responsible and very good to work with! She takes time and really focus on all the little details that make the difference! My make up and all the make up for my wedding party was stunning, and lasted all day which I was so greatful for! I had originally booked a different makeup artist for my big day, but shortly before my wedding the artist told me that she was moving and had someone else that could take over. I got so lucky that it was Ivett. I had a trial with her a couple months before the big day. I showed her a couple pictures and she really worked her magic. With a couple of small tweaks the look was perfect. On my big day, she was a complete professional. She showed up on time and did a great job. I have to say that I was really overwhelmed when getting ready, and she made me feel so incredibly comfortable. She let me take my time, but still kept things on schedule. The makeup was amazing. It lasted all day and even during our photo session outside when it was raining. I would not hesitate to book Ivette again for any other occasion! -

Absolutely Perfect Experience!!!!
Ivett was amazing!! It was fate that I came across Her webpage. She responded quickly and was extremely dependable. She suggested a hair styles that was also amazing. I was from Louisiana and met with her at her house for the trail. She made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked through the doors. Even with my indecisiveness for lipstick color she worked with me until everything was perfect! She also happily accommodated all my bridesmaids and daughters. I would highly recommend Ivett for any occasion! -
