  Perfect Lighting Experience!

  Islay did the lighting at our wedding, and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Communication was stellar. They were very responsive and sent me probably close to 10 different quotes as my now wife and I tried to figure out what we wanted for our lighting. They were also very flexible. I ended up adding an extra outdoor lighting feature only a week or two before which they were happy to do. They also did a stellar job on the lighting set up itself! It looked absolutely beautiful, and they complied with all of our venue's restrictions which were many since it was a parks and recreation building with tons of government regulations. We got our full safety deposit back. In short, I cannot recommend Isaly highly enough!!

  Loved the drapes!

  We rented drapes from Islay events and it was worth every penny! Completely transformed the barn at Higuera ranch and we were SO happy with the way everything turned out. So thankful for this team for being so easy to work with too! Thanks again!! Pat and Jen Reilly 5-18-2019

  Excellent Lightning Specialist

  Jeremy was easy to work with, efficient and very friendly. He knew the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum and I later found out he had worked with most of my other vendors previously. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

  Perfect vendor

  Working with Islay Events and in particular Jeremy was a breeze!
  My fiancé knew we needed to add some draping to our venue to add some gentle drama but I was a little hesitant. Jeremy was amazing and drove up to meet with us during one of our walk throughs. He was super efficient, used a laser tape to measure the barn and totally understood what my fiancé was asking for. On the day his team was super efficient and their work was perfection enhancing the chic side of our rustic-chic style. I 100% would recommend them.

  I recommend Islay events. They not only kept in my budget but they helped make recommendations to make sure we had everything we needed and make the space look beautiful. The small touched they recommend made all the difference in the world.

  Islay Events did an amazing job for my daughter's wedding. The site where we had her weddng wasn't an easy place to set up, it was right by the ocean, so they had to make sure everything was extra safe in case we had high winds and at the same time make it look gorgeous. Jeremy was very easy to work with and I never felt pressured to do more than I wanted. He did a gorgeous job and I highly recommend working with him and his team you'll be happy you did.

  From start to finish, Islay Events was great. We used them for general lighting services at the Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse for the parking lot, bar, and DJ areas, as well as market lighting over the dance floor. They were prompt with an estimate for their services and the price was very competitive. Everything was installed and removed quickly and cleanly. They were in and out before we knew it. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for lighting in the Santa Barbara area.

  Jeremy and his team are incredible, and the work they do is even better. Jeremy was so easy to work with; he was available by phone, email and even offered to drive over 1.5 hours just to do a walk through of the venue with me! My vision changed several times, and he always provided such great feedback and suggestions. I couldn't be more happy with our end result. The twinkle wall and drapes combination created a soft, fairytale like elegance. I would recommend Islay Events to anyone having an event on the Central Coast.

  Stop looking and book these guys!!! Islay Events did the lighting for our August wedding at the Ty Warner Sea Center. They were incredible!!! Jeremy was fantastic!!! The perfect guy to work with, and he immediately understood our vision for the venue. The finished product looked incredible. They worked seamlessly with our wedding planner and other vendors. Everything was perfect and was done at a fair price. I will recommend them again and again. Like I said, stop looking, you've found your guys!!!

  Jeremy and his staff are truly pros as what they do. They elevated our event to a new level with creative lighting and added fun to the dance floor with their light board to work with the DJ music and live band. Summer Solstice highly recommends their service and work!

  Jeremy was very responsive to the site visit at our venue. (This was the first event at this venue). His lighting plan and delivery was perfect. The pricing at Islay is reasonable. I would highly recommend Jeremy and his team. Well done!

  I hired Islay Events for my photo booth and bamboo ceremony arch for my wedding back in September. I am very glad I hired them! From start to finish the owner was very professional and accomodating! The arch looked beautiful and my guests had a lot of fun at the photo booth! Thank you so much!!

  Jeremy and his team transformed my wedding venue into such a romantic place! It looked absolutely stunning! We also rented a photobooth from Islay events and our guests had so much fun with it! They hung an array of beautiful white paper lanterns and white draping fabric that completely matched my rustic, romance vision. The uplighting on the interior made the space come alive at night. Jeremy and team are awesome!

We didn't have any idea what we wanted in terms of the look, so we were really happy when Jeremy handled both the setup and design. We had a very diy wedding and were planning to do all the decor setup ourselves to save money. Islay's price turned out to be very reasonable for the amount of work we asked them to do.

  Having Islay Events do our wedding was absolutely fantastic. We had two venues where they did the lighting and sound and they covered us flawlessly. The lighting turned out better than I imagined. Communication between us, them and venue staff was smooth and made everything fall together just perfect. I highly recommend.
