I can not recommend Loraine and Invitation Only highly enough! She not only assisted with all design aspects, rentals, vendor contracts, floor plan, etc. she became a HERO when we had to cancel my daughter’s wedding two weeks before the planned date due to Covid. Loraine immediately contacted all vendors, assisted in determining a new wedding date, and rescheduled vendors. She did her job twice!!! She was also amazing on the day of the wedding! As the mother of the bride I had to do nothing! When the wedding guitarist’s car broke down and was unable to make the ceremony Loraine immediately enlisted the help of the DJ who moved/set up equipment and downloaded all of the songs my daughter had chosen for the ceremony. Loraine provided a much more stress-free event than I could’ve ever imagined! If the occasion arises I will certainly use Invitation Only and Loraine again...this was absolutely the best money I spent! -

Invitation Only was an absolute dream to work with at our venue, The Rutledge Room. Their team was organized, professional, and incredibly on top of every detail from start to finish. They brought such a fun energy while also staying calm and collected throughout the entire event, which made everything feel seamless and stress-free. It’s rare to find a team that balances efficiency with such a positive presence so effortlessly. They were a true pleasure to partner with, and I would confidently recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional event experience. -

From the very first call with Loraine and her team at Invitation Only, I knew we were in the best hands. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but Loraine made the entire process smooth, organized, and—most importantly—enjoyable.
Of course, she checks all the boxes you’d expect from a top-tier wedding planner: creative, organized, well-connected, and an excellent communicator. But what truly sets her apart is her ability to bring a vision to life in ways beyond your imagination. Like many little girls, I had dreamed of my wedding day since childhood, and somehow, Loraine made it even better than what I had envisioned.

I tend to be scatterbrained, trying to do a hundred things at once, and planning a wedding from out of town only added to the complexity. But Loraine had every detail covered, from my trips to Charleston to the smallest aspects of the wedding day itself. I truly just had to show up. She anticipated my needs before I even realized them, always ten steps ahead. I am sure there were countless issues that arose behind the scenes, but I never knew about them—because Loraine and her team handled everything seamlessly.

Plain and simple: I was a guest at my own wedding, and that is the highest compliment I can give. From the first planning meeting to the moment Loraine handed us our cell phones and IDs before our grand exit, she took care of absolutely everything.

We can't recommend Invitation Only, LLC enough! Loraine was so immensely helpful in the months leading up to our wedding. And then on the big day, she and her teammate Levi completely went above and beyond. I can't imagine what we would have done without them! Every detail was thoughtfully considered and taken care of. The trust that Loraine built with us really allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment of the day.
From the moment we signed the contract, it was clear that she approached planning in both a positive and transparent manner, exploring every option to help make our vision come to life. Loraine and her team at Invitation Only were absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations in every way! We cannot imagine how our event would have unfolded without them. Our wedding was originally scheduled for April 2020, and we had to postpone twice due to COVID-19. Loraine was gracious and patient in helping us with all of the details of rescheduling (a process which she offered to help us with despite it not being included in the original planning package we had paid for). When it came time to select rentals and plan the day-of details in earnest, Loraine accompanied us to Snyder Rentals and made thoughtful suggestions about items to consider, all while being mindful of our budget and supporting our vision. On the day of our wedding, Loraine and Kyra were complete rockstars. They were punctual, organized, and exuded a calm vibe that made everyone feel at ease. Numerous guests and members of the wedding party remarked during and after the event about how awesome Loraine and Kyra were. And importantly, they coordinated the services of other vendors without a hitch. My husband and I were able to be fully "in the moment" at all times without thinking about any coordination details on the day of our wedding. Loraine even brought our dinner to us so we could have a moment to sit and eat, which we were so grateful for! In keeping with the theme of Loraine and her team going above and beyond to curate the perfect day, Kyra offered to write out various chalkboard signs for us, given her expertise with lettering, and Loraine ended up being the person to help bustle my dress after the ceremony! One of the things we appreciated most about working with Loraine was her personality and demeanor - she was funny and chill, and by the end of the process she felt like a friend. Time and time again, Loraine and her team applied their considerable expertise to help us realize our wedding vision, and did so with professionalism and grace. We encourage anyone who is planning a wedding in the Charleston area to hire Invitation Only without a second thought! We cannot recommend them enough!! -

The Best Wedding Planner in Charleston
Loraine is absolutely amazing! Our wedding truly exceeded all my dreams compliments of all the time, work and dedication that she put into making sure it was perfect. She recommended the best vendors who worked perfectly together the day of the wedding. I honestly don’t know how we would have done everything without her. We were originally scheduled to have our wedding in 2021 but had to postpone due to COVID. She assisted with making sure everyone was rescheduled and very understanding during the whole process. On our wedding day, I was able to just relax and not worry about a thing because she had everything taken care of. Aside from being your wedding planner, though, she is also there to listen to you vent about everything wedding related, but also about everything non-wedding related. Loraine is so kind and helpful during the whole process. She’s truly the best wedding planner out there! -

There isn’t enough praise I can give Loraine and her team that could accurately express my gratitude. Having her as a coordinator was one of my best decisions and investments. Loraine was there to help when things became overwhelming and obstacles were thrown our way (which there were a lot with the recent COVID wave). On our wedding day, her and Kyra made sure that the day was absolutely magical, and everything we dreamed of. She made the day so peaceful, calming, and joyful. We also used Jess as our officiant and she went above and beyond to provide us with a beautiful, loving ceremony. Loraine and her team are experts at what they do. Every bride deserves to feel the way that Loraine and her team made me feel. I can guarantee you, it will be your smartest wedding decision to work with them! -

I cannot imagine planning or executing our wedding day without Loraine! Though I consider myself pretty "type A" when it comes to planning and looking at details, Loraine's experience and industry knowledge SHINED with everything from vendor suggestions, venue layout options, plan A, B, and C for potential inclement weather, keeping everyone (vendors, wedding party, family) in line on the wedding day, and so much more. My mom and bridesmaids absolutely loved her and her assistant Kyra on our wedding day. If there were any hiccups happening throughout the day, I had no idea because Loraine handled it all. 10/10 would recommend! -

Loraine with Invitation Only was absolutely amazing and THE BEST money I spent for my wedding! Although we had a wedding with under 50 guests, Loraine really helped me with final touches for the big day a month prior, the rehearsal the day before, and the day of. She was so organized and professional throughout the entire process and during the wild beginning, unknown stages of the Coronavirus. My other vendors bragged about her professionalism and organization. Loraine made sure everyone was where they needed to be on the day of and kept to our predetermined timeline. Also since I did not want my family and friends to be worried about picking up after the reception, Loraine's services included post-reception pack-up of all of my personal items brought for the ceremony and reception. Invitation Only made our big day the most relaxing and enjoyable day. There were no hiccups and if there were, Loraine made sure that my friends, family and I did not see them. I HIGHLY recommend Loraine at Invitation Only! -

Loraine was INCREDIBLE as our day-of-coordinator! She sold me at our first phone call, despite my relatively small budget - she is worth it! Loraine was DETAIL-ORIENTED, ORGANIZED, CALM, AND COLLECTED throughout the whole process and day of. My dad is a worrier about absolutely everything and she was able to put his mind at ease and even help him fold his pocket square. We were so impressed how well she had everything under control, but also stayed out of the way. She found us when she needed us - approval for a last minute request by my FIL to give a toast, and to let us know if we were ahead or behind schedule (since I'm type-A myself), but otherwise worked behind the scenes with our vendors and everything in our eyes went PERFECTLY! We also used Invitation Only for rentals including some linens, lanterns, and an easel, and they offer great pricing on those! It was a nice benefit not having to manage yet another vendor for rentals. We love Loraine and highly recommend her to anyone and everyone for wedding planning or coordination! -

Everything was perfect!
I tried to prepare my daughter for anything that might go awry by telling her those were the things you remember, but to my amazement, everything went off perfectly! Loraine was absolutely incredible with her ability to be prepared for every aspect of the wedding. I would tell anyone to totally entrust them with all aspects of the wedding and to relax and enjoy it. -

Loraine coordinated my brother's wedding on Edisto a few years ago, and was the first person we talked to when planning our own Edisto wedding. She is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable-- offering suggestions along the way to make our wedding go smooth while still understanding our "vision". From the moment we first started speaking Loraine was attentive, genuine and made me feel like my wedding was the only thing in the world she cared about. She listened to my ideas and wants and put together the most PERFECT weekend. My vendors were flawlessly organized and I did not have to do a THING. I showed up on my wedding day, enjoyed myself, and left. She put together everything, took it all down and stored it for me while I was on my honeymoon. I could go on and on about all the little ways she made my day spectacular, like how ALL of my vendors knew her and even expressed they were glad to work with her again, she knew tips and tricks to work magic at my venue, and she was able to kindly, gently nudge my chaotic family and friends to their places when necessary. She made everything come together perfectly. I have recommended her to family and friends- and I recommend her to anyone searching for a planner, coordinator or even just rentals. It’s not a decision you will regret.

She was always quick to respond, pleasant, an insanely hard-worker and a talented planner/coordinator. My wedding was a destination wedding in Charleston and I was nervous about plans coming together at the end... I never should have worried though because Loraine is a miracle worker. We had a limited amount of time to set up and an overload of decorations but Loraine pulled everything off flawlessly. I was happy with my decision to hire her even before the wedding but after everything she did, I am blown away. She is the best in Charleston and I recommend her 100%. If I did it all over again ,she would be the first person I call. She made my dream wedding come true and I can't say enough good things about her.
