What a great experience! Rabbi Barry is the best

To ensure we had the wedding ceremony of our dreams, Rabbi Barry met with us several times before the wedding. Rabbi Barry was a joy to work with and brought our vision to fruition, which was to have a loving ceremony that was inclusive to all of our guests. Rabbi Barry made the day very special for us, and was a hit with everyone. He is unique and one of a kind, and will bring a wonderful united spiritual dimension to your wedding, no matter what your faith.

Rabbi Barry made our wedding truly special

Rabbi Barry made our wedding truly special. We came a long way from Copenhagen, and all our preparations, hopes, and dreams came together magically when Barry conducted the ceremony. He is warm, funny, gentle, and above all he is this marvellous combination of spirituality and intelligence. He made us and all of our guests feel that profoundly during that magical hour at the beach when we got married. Rabbi Barry has got a very deep connection. And may we add that he and his charming wife Linda are just wonderful at meeting people and being present. Thank you so much!

Funny, Sincere, Spiritual, Accepting, Personable, Sweet, THE BEST!!!

We knew within the first couple of minutes of speaking with Rabbi Tuchman that he was our guy. He has this magnetic energy to him that draws you in and makes you love him! He is positive, has a great personality, and is nonjudgmental. It is so obvious that being a rabbi is his calling in life. I am Catholic and my husband is Jewish. Rabbi worked with us to perfectly blend the religions during the ceremony, he was flexible with our requests and he absolutely NAILED the wedding sermon. It wasn't too long and it wasn't too short. He focused on faith, gratitude, our loved ones, the purpose of life and our guests LOVED him. Even the most religious Catholics kept raving about him after the ceremony. Some of our Jewish guests liked him so much that they wanted to see if he delivers sermons at a specific synagogue so them can join to watch him. His words were beautiful during the ceremony, it makes me teary just thinking about it. I am so grateful we chose him and want to spread the word to others so they can have the same amazing experience we did. THANK YOU RABBI!

A Perfect Match

Within minutes of our first conversation we knew Barry was a great fit for us. We chatted about everything from mindfulness to didgeridoo playing and gained an understanding of Barry's fresh and insightful perspective on a Jewish wedding ceremony. Barry brings a very lighthearted but deep and spiritual energy to existing Jewish tradition.

We had an inter-faith wedding and despite many of our guests not being Jewish, he did an incredible job making the Jewish traditions relatable and inclusive for everyone. We received so much great feedback from our guests about how special and unique the ceremony felt. And we may have found a few future clients for Barry as well :)

We went with his custom Ketubah service and the results were amazing. He took inspiration from a lot of meaningful things in our lives and combined them with traditional Jewish ketubah text. We now have a personalized symbolic document and art piece that we will cherish forever.

We had a themed wedding -"Wild West Disco" - and Barry needed no convincing to dress the part. He brought so much joy and levity to our wedding day.
Working with Barry for our wedding felt like working with a long time friend. We feel so lucky to have found Barry.

Fantastic Officiant

We had a non religious ceremony, a small elopement, and wanted to bring it to another level with a memorable ceremony for us. He did such a phenomenal job in the preparation, guiding us through the steps, and the actual ceremony was such a memorable experience. He really knows how to bring weight to the moment and make it feel very special. Highly recommended. It's not every day you get married, and this was a day we'll remember the rest of our lives, especially thanks to this man's special energy and intention behind the ceremony. thanks again, highly highly recommended.

Rabbi Barry is Amazing

I had the pleasure of working with Rabbi Barry for one of my couples at the Montecito Club. He and his wife are the sweetest humans. They designed and created a custom Ketubah for the couple and organized such a beautiful ceremony that included the family's request for Catholic Priest to be present. Barry was so helpful in joining the two faiths beautifully and his communication was very responsive. I highly suggest Rabbi Barry if you're looking for a Rabbi!

The most heart-felt ceremony

My husband (I wrote fiancé and then corrected myself!) and I are both secular, spiritual Jews. We wanted our wedding officiated by a Rabbi, but the question was, how do we find one that resonated with our beliefs & values? I found Rabbi Barry from a Google search, and arranged a time to chat. We connected with his interpretation of Judaism and love, and noticed immediately how well-spoken he was. Rabbi Barry is a professional public speaker - his services left hardly a dry eye at the venue (of course, my & my husbands vows didn’t hurt 😉). Multiple guests told us that our ceremony was the best and/or most heart-felt ceremony they’d ever been witness to. There was laughter, tears, and just the perfect balance of spiritual connectedness to our ancestors & Jewishness. He explained traditions to our non-Jewish guests in a beautiful way that I know they appreciated and enjoyed. One of my husband’s friends even joked that he wants to convert now 😂
It was a history lesson, and a compelling sermon on love, with a pinch of comedy stand-up, all in one. Being able to work on a Ketubah with him was the cherry on top. He was responsive and understanding of how specific of a vision I had, and allowed me to take as much control of the project as I wanted. Rabbi Barry is your one-stop-shop for your Jewish or interfaith wedding.

Rabbi Barry Tuchman had everyone in tears at my wedding! I’m beyond happy to have had Rabbi Tuchman marry my husband and I. And the Ketubah he made us was absolutely perfect and fit our personalities to the tee! Couldn’t imagine anyone else officiate our wedding! Thank you!

Kind, Gracious and Responsive

Rabbi Barry has been exceptionally kind and gracious for my husband and I. Our wedding had some unique opportunities (covid/scheduling etc...) and Rabbi Barry was extremely responsive and helpful through the whole process. Wonderful Ceremony & Ketubah

We are so glad that we had Rabbi Barry officiate our wedding and help us make a beautiful, personalized ketubah. My husband is Jewish and I was raised Catholic, so Rabbi Barry helped us create the perfect interfaith wedding ceremony that was focused on us as a couple. He helped us incorporate some jewish traditions and explained each part of the ceremony so our jewish and non-jewish guests could follow along. We had multiple zoom calls prior to the wedding so we all felt comfortable and ready for the big day. We've also received so many wonderful compliments on our ketubah and Rabbi Barry allowed us to personalize it, so it would fit us and our home best. We had a truly wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend Rabbi Barry to any couple looking for an officiant.

The best officiant for interfaith couples!

It was an absolute pleasure having Rabbi Barry officiate our interfaith elopement in Jenner, California. The day honestly wouldn't have been the same without him. We even had the honor of meeting his adorable dog and his amazing (and talented) wife.

Not sure where to get your ketubah? Do yourself a favor and have Barry and his wife custom paint and design a gorgeous one for you! We are completely in love with ours!

Perfect in every way

Rabbi Barry Tuchman officiated our elopement and he truly made it so special. He spent the time to get to know us before hand and included our family members in his speech which was a really nice touch. He said such beautiful things at the ceremony which made it even more memorable. He also wore the best mask because you can't even tell he's wearing one in the pictures. Amazing! Could not have been better!

As an interfaith couple, catholic and Seikh, somehow not just a Rabbi, but this rabbi seemed to be the perfect match. He did an amazing job bringing both faiths together in the ceremony, and including humor as well as helping us blend both families in a second marriage... not easy but he made it seem that way. Such a wonderful, personal ceremony... could not be happier, and even better our adult children feel the same way. "he was amazing, what a great ceremony he did"

Wonderful officiant

I cannot say enough good things about Rabbi Tuchman. We are an interracial couple (me-Ashkenazi Jewish but not really religious, my wife Chinese/buddhist). He worked with us on our Ketubah which really captured the essence of our marriage. Likewise, I do not consider myself religious but felt it was important to have Jewish traditions on my wedding. He was really understanding of this and made me feel comfortable. Ultimately, the ceremony turned out wonderfully. I had numerous people come up to me telling me he was the greatest officiant they had seen at a wedding and I agree. Was really a pleasure to have him as a part of ceremony.

Perfect for our day!!

Rabbi Barry was absolutely perfect for our wedding day - we did a chinese tea ceremony, followed by a catholic wedding ceremony, followed by the jewish ceremony. We wanted a contrast to the formal catholic ceremony, and that was exactly what we got. Our guests LOVED the ceremony, and we got so many comments about how special it was.

Rabbi Barry also designed our Ketubah, which we adore, it is so nice having a ketubah that really reflects the two of us and our beliefs, instead of the standard, typical ones I've seen from relatives.

Great Ceremony and Beautiful Ketubah

Rabbi Barry was great for our “slightly” – Jewish wedding in October of 2019. The groom wanted to hit some notions of his Jewish faith (breaking of the glass, chuppah, and blessings). The bride wanted to honor LOVE and not make her Catholic family uncomfortable. Rabbi Barry achieved both. A quick 20-minute ceremony that had quirks to it was exactly what we wanted for our special day. Rabbi Barry was hilarious and made sure to honor both bride and grooms requests to make the ceremony their own. Additionally, we ordered our ketubah through Rabbi Barry and he did an awesome job at creating a marriage license that was customized to our love of cooking. We can’t wait to have it in our kitchen at our future home.

Officiants before hiring Rabbi Barry. Not only is he very communicative but he’s so personable and instantly made us feel comfortable. We are an interfaith couple and knew he was the choice for us. You don’t need to look any further. He is your guy. Even 7 weeks later, our guests have not stopped gushing about how amazing our ceremony was and how hilarious Rabbi Barry is. Best Rabbi Around

Look no further. Rabbi Barry married us in April of this year and every time we see or talk to one of our guests the first thing they mention is how great the Rabbi was. We had an interfaith wedding. He set the tone for an amazing wedding full of love, great connections, lots of humor, and a greater understanding for the diversity of our families' rich histories and cultures. He was considerate, hilarious, engaging and helped to form connections between all of our guests. He made the ceremony about us and our relationship, and how that relates to the traditions of a Jewish ceremony. Our ceremony was personalized and really reflected us as a couple and as individuals. We plan to ask Barry to officiate all of our future Jewish ceremonies. Barry also designed and personalized our Ketubah and it was exactly what we asked for. It is our most beloved piece of artwork in our home. I wish we could do it all over again and again with Barry as the Rabbi.

Rabbi Barry is everything we could have asked for

Rabbi Barry Tuchman married my husband and I just a few weeks ago and people are still raving about how wonderful he was. We had an interfaith wedding with Jewish traidtions and I loved how he took the time to explain all of the traditions and what they meant and why they were done. It really made it more interesting for our guests that were less familiar with the customs. Rabbi Barry takes the time to get to know you and your family and your interests, and makes sure to personalize the ceremony, he makes sure that it feels personal, like he's known you for many years. And his Ketubahs are breath taking, we sent him a picture of a design we loved and he NAILED it. I really can't praise him any higher, he is knowledgeable and professional while still approachable and warm. Rabbi Barry truly made our ceremony outstanding.

Truly A Wedding With Spirit

Rabbi Barry created a beautiful ceremony for us. I was raised Jewish but my wife was not. It was important to me to have a Jewish wedding and Rabbi Barry made it amazing. He brought in spirituality and explained the traditional customs. He was funny and sentimental and encouraged us to make our ceremony personal. My mother in law helped decorate the chuppah, he had us bring a picture of our dog to put on the main table, and he created our amazingly beautiful Ketubah. Our guests loved Rabbi Barry as did we. We would highly recommend him.

Amazing officiant and ceremony!

Rabbi Barry co-officiated an Interfaith wedding for us with Father Jerry Bellamy in August and the ceremony was incredibly memorable. We have had many comments on how beautiful it was, and a lot of our guests thought it was one of the best wedding ceremonies they'd ever experienced. The officiants used a perfect combination of humor and sentiment throughout, the passages that were read were on point and highlighted both my Jewish faith and my husband's Catholic faith. I would highly recommend Rabbi Barry for any wedding ceremony. You will not be disappointed! He also designed an incredibly beautiful Ketubah for us.

Rabbi Barry created our Ketubah. I have to say it is the most beautiful Ketubah I have ever seen! We were very excited to fully customize our Ketubah with symbols and text that are meaningful to us. It was fun to design the Ketubah in an interactive manner with him; we'd have an idea and he would send us some examples of the digital art. We repeated this process many, many times until we landed on an incredibly meaningful beautiful legal document we will always cherish.

From the very beginning communications with Rabbi Barry were easy. We had several meetings prior to the wedding to make our arrangements, all of which were very enjoyable, and left us excited for the big day. These meetings effectively eliminated any surprises on our wedding day. Also, being that neither of us are Jewish, the ceremony was still eloquently executed by Rabbi Barry. He helped us bridge together our interfaith family in a way that could not have been more serene. We can never thank Rabbi Barry enough for leaving us with such a beautiful memory to treasure always.

Rabbi Barry helped us to build our wedding ceremony early on in the process, and did an excellent job officiating our wedding. Because ours is an interfaith marriage, there were many guests who had never been to a Jewish ceremony. So many people told us that they loved how Rabbi Barry explained Jewish traditions while adding a unique humor and fun spirit to the ceremony. We are very thankful to Rabbi Barry for making our ceremony such a memorable one!

I cant begin to describe how grateful I am for rabbi Barry.
First I would like to say that I am catholic and my husband is Jewish, as you can imagine I was concerned about how this ceremony would play out because of our elders. I wanted to respect everyone involved. Since I am not practicing my religion and my husband is I thought it would be nice to have a rabbi do our ceremony. I found Barry via the interweb and got in contact with him. He made everything easy from the very beginning and I just had a wonderful feeling about him.... fast forward to wedding day and he executed the sweetest ceremony I have ever seen. He did things so warmly. I wish I could tell you what he said exactly but the whole day was a blur. I have no idea what he said but I do remember how he made me feel and that is worth so much more to me. He is marvelous and anyone would be lucky to have him on any occasion that he may be needed.

My wife and I had Rabbi Barry officiate our wedding in April, 2017 My wife is Catholic and I am Jewish so finding someone to do an interfaith wedding is a challenge. Rabbi Barry was great and helped us design a ceremony that fit us and represented both of our religions. I highly recommend him !

Rabbi Barry is warm hearted spirited Rabbi who did a beautiful job delivering our ceremony to our guests. It was almost like having a story teller entertain everyone yet marry us at the same time. His kind eyes and beautiful soul radiate and put both my groom and I as well as our families at ease. We also had him make our Katubah which was a work of art - it will be treasured forever in our home. He did a wonderful job and we highly recommend him to Jewish and interfaith couples.

We are beyond grateful to Rabbi Barry! Hire him! My wife and I (and many others) spend hundreds of hours over this past year planning our beautiful wedding. There were hardly any free weekends that we had to ourselves and there were many more nights that we stayed up with the planning into the night compared to the nights that we got to go to bed before 11pm. All of your planning and hard work, comes down to that one single moment when you stand there looking into each other's eyes ready to become united as one. Our guests flew in from all over the country and we even had guests who flew in from as far away as India so you want to make sure that the ceremony is as memorable to your guests as it is to you. Ours definitely was and I cannot tell you how many people came up to us or called us after the ceremony and said that they have never been to a better ceremony.

We met with a number of Rabbis before finding Rabbi Barry. To us the choice was clear and we even wanted to take Rabbi Barry out to dinner before the ceremony so that we were up there as friends. Rabbi Barry easily caters the ceremony to your liking. We chose to have everything in English since none of our guests spoke Hebrew, and Rabbi Barry used a lot of personal things we told him about ourselves along with beautiful metaphors to make the ceremony not only special but interesting, entertaining and with just the right amount of humor infused.

Thank you, Rabbi Barry, for making our ceremony as memorable as the rest of our wedding day. Oh... make sure that you use the Rabbi to get your personalized Ketubah. We love ours!

Rabbi Barry officiated my interfaith wedding ceremony (my husband and his family are not Jewish) but we had a Jewish ceremony. He did a great job of incorporating some specific Jewish elements and explaining them so everyone could understand. He also kept the mood on the lighter side by incorporating some small jokes. I personally really liked this about him because it is so nerve wracking standing up there! it also helped to keep the crowd engaged. I would highly recommend him, he has a great personality that really shines through when officiating. If you want people to actually pay attention during your wedding ceremony, go with Rabbi Barry!

Rabbi Barry was amazing!! We wanted a Jewish wedding but don't belong to a temple. We had read some positive reviews online and decided to reach out to Rabbi Barry. He was very responsive and called us right away after our first email. He was very reasonably priced and kind on the phone. We used FaceTime to "meet" after we booked him. We discussed our ketubah and the type of ceremony we wanted. Most of the guests at our wedding were not Jewish so he made sure to put together a ceremony that would be multi faith friendly and explanatory. We checked in a few times leading up to the wedding day. He moved down to San Clemente during our planning process and still made the drive all the way to Camarillo without adding a travel fee. The ceremony went off without a hitch and it was beautiful. Everyone loved it, and it was the one part of the wedding all of our guests raved about all night. Rabbi Barry made sure to follow up with us a week after the wedding to give us the relevant info about our marriage certificates. He was really an amazing person to work with, and he made our wedding ceremony perfect and complete, infusing the right amount of spirit and comedy. Thank you Rabbi Barry!!!!

I don't write reviews often, but this is one case when a review is absolutely warranted. Simply put, Rabbi Barry did a phenomenal job as the Officiant for the wedding of my wife and I on 09/03/2016. Initially, both my wife and I were a little worried about the fact that we had family attending the ceremony who were from Jewish, Christian, and non-religious backgrounds. Rabbi Barry did a superb job working with us ahead of time to tailor the ceremony in a way that honored my wife's Jewish traditions, clearly communicated the importance of those traditions in a way that gave them universal appeal to the non-Jewish guests, and incorporated a tasteful touch of humor that kept everyone engaged throughout the ceremony. My wife and I had multiple guests - from all religious backgrounds - approach us later in the evening to comment on how Rabbi Barry's ceremony was actually the best wedding ceremony they had ever seen (and we couldn't agree more). Furthermore, Rabbi Barry has a talent for customizing Ketubahs. He encouraged us to help him craft a Ketubah that incorporated some personal touches into an already beautiful work of art. The result is something that will hang on our wall for the rest of our lives. I can't recommend Rabbi Barry highly enough - he is an incredibly talented Rabbi and Officiant who we hope to keep in contact with throughout our marriage.

Rabbi Berry was the Officiant for our wedding. He also helped create our ketubah. He was the Rabbi at a few of my friends weddings and did a great job there. I don't think there's enough words to properly describe the beautiful service he provided for my husband and me. I distinctly remember researching Rabbis about a year ago, and not sure what exactly I was looking for; I'm Catholic and my husband is Jewish, and although we knew we'd have a Jewish service we wanted someone who understood the importance of conducting an interfaith ceremony and someone who respected our vision, culture and traditions. By the grace of God I found Rabbi Barry, and from our first meeting with him over the phone we knew he'd be our Rabbi; visiting with him in his home and hearing his stories and how he spoke so eloquently of love and marriage as an echad touched us so deeply. We kept in touch with Rabbi Barry over the course of a year, telling him stories and giving tidbits of information about ourselves and our relationship along the way. When the big day finally came, it truly felt like having an old friend marry us, like he had known us for eons. When Rabbi Barry speaks you can feel that he is truly blessing your marriage, and his words are poetic and precise at the same time. For my family, many of whom had never been to a Jewish wedding, they found Rabbi Barry's words comforting and recognizable and loved the way he was able to explain the tradition and importance of everything in a Jewish wedding, from the chuppah that symbolized our new home, to being wrapped in my husband's grandfather's tallit. I realize as I'm writing this, I've smiled the entire time because that's how special Rabbi Barry was to us on our wedding day and how special he'll always be to my husband and I. I couldn't have imagined our wedding officiated by anyone else; God has truly blessed Rabbi Barry with a gift of oration, an enlightened understanding of love, and a kind heart, and if you're lucky enough to have Rabbi Barry share his gifts with you, you and your marriage will truly be a blessed one.

Rabbi Barry was an incredible officiant at our wedding two weeks ago. I am Jewish but my husband and the majority of our guests were not Jewish but every single one of them told us we had the best ceremony they had ever attended and it was all because of Rabbi Barry. He explained all of the Jewish traditions in a very simple but meaningful way. He brought a great sense of humor to our ceremony and our guests absolutely loved him. We had so many people come up to us throughout the night telling us that our Rabbi was the best officiant they had ever seen and they could not stop talking about him. Rabbi Barry was an amazing officiant for my husband and I at our wedding. I am Catholic, and he is Jewish. We had Father Brian and Rabbi Barry as co-officiants at our special day, and I am so so so glad we did! From the moment I spoke to Rabbi Barry on the phone, I got the "warm fuzzies" and I knew that he would fit right in at our wedding. His warm heart and light spirit brought me to tears, and had me cracking up laughing at the same time. The guests at our wedding (Muslim, Catholic, Jewish...) all said they wanted to have a Rabbi like Rabbi Barry do their weddings, even if they weren't Jewish! I would highly recommend him to any couple who is looking for a fun Rabbi who is also deeply rooted in the word of God and tradition...not just a comedian like many officiants nowadays. Rabbi Barry is nothing short of AMAZING! He is an absolute diamond in the rough. This man will create ANY ceremony of your dreams. He can make it totally religious or not at all. Of all the work that went into the wedding, the most common comments I got was "Your ceremony was amazing" and "That Rabbi was great". Rabbi Barry Tuchman went above and beyond to make our ceremony spiritual and unique. He worked with our timeline and together we created our ceremony that would be perfect for us. Rabbi Barry is a fantastic officiant. He made all of our guests, of varying faiths, feel completely welcome in our Jewish ceremony, and he's funny as well!

We had a great time during the ceremony and planning the whole thing was easy and fun.
I would recommend to anyone to use Rabbi Barry!\

Rabbi Barry Tuchman made our wedding ceremony special, warm, and heartfelt. He made himself very available since the beginning of the process, and was very responsive to our many questions and emails. He worked with us in creating a Ketubah that we loved, paying a lot of attention to small details and accommodating to our unique style. The ceremony was candid and very sweet. My husband and I had an interfaith ceremony, and Rabbi Barry was fantastic: he was very open-minded and really made me feel like he was genuinely interested in learning about my [non-Jewish] upbringing.

He worked with us to incorporate a wine box ceremony, which was something new to him that we wanted to do in lieu of the traditional unity candle - he did a fantastic job, and it was one of our guests' favorite parts of the day.

I really appreciated spending time with Rabbi Barry prior to our wedding so he could get a feel for my husband and myself as individuals and as a couple - it really helped him tailor a ceremony that was absolutely perfect!

Rabbi Barry made our special day that much more special. We were are so happy he was the person to marry us. He worked with us on every little detail. He is the best. Definitely plan to keep in touch and have him officiate anything we need in the future.

My husband and I had an interfaith marriage and we chose Rabbi Barry to officiate our wedding. We had a great experience with Rabbi Barry, he was fun, easy going, spiritual and professional. He makes sure that your ceremony is special and unique to you. We received many compliments after the ceremony about how well Rabbi Barry explained all the parts of the ceremony and how inclusive of our guests he was. He did a great job of capturing our personalities and incorporating them into our ceremony. I would Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a unique and meaningful ceremony.

Rabbi Barry provided us with a beautiful interfaith ceremony—all of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it, especially his explanations of all of the traditions of a Jewish wedding. Rabbi Barry was so inclusive of everyone, and his ceremony included just the right amount of humor and touching moments. I don't think we could have imagined a better, more meaningful ceremony.

We met with Rabbi Barry three times before the wedding, and he was always available to answer any questions. Can't recommend Rabbi Barry as an officiant highly enough!

Rabbi Barry was wonderful at my wedding. I received many compliments from my guests about how great my wedding ceremony was because of him. His kind and humorous demeanor was perfect - it kept my ceremony beautiful, heartfelt and funny. In addition, the several meetings my husband and I had with him before the wedding were also a delight, as he guided us to help create the outline of our ceremony making it as custom (or not custom) and traditional (or not traditional) as we wanted.

Rabbi Barry was absolutely fantastic. He worked with us to create a ceremony that was unique to the two of us and didn't push an "agenda" as others we met with did. On the day of, he was prepared, involved the audience and made everyone laugh. Many of our guests commented that it was the best ceremony they had attended as it was funny, heartfelt and interactive. Rabbi Barry Tuchman was referred to us by a friend. He made our ceremony so special. We met with him several times before the wedding and he learned little quirks about us and made that a part of our ceremony. He was so composed and engaged in our special day. He is a true professional. Also, my husband's family is not Jewish and felt very comfortable with the ceremony as Rabbi Barry incorporated both our families' backgrounds. We received so many compliments about the ceremony especially about how Rabbi Barry officiated the wedding.

He customizes beautiful ketubahs. He used a photo from our engagement shoot and turned it into a piece of art. Rabbi Barry is truly talented artist.

My daughter and son-in-law hired Rabbi Barry for their wedding in 2008. When it came time to find someone for my wedding I could not imagine anyone but him to help us celebrate our love. He provided a balanced level of humor and spirituality. Our family stills talks about the wonderful service.

Rabbi Barry was a great fit for us. His ceremony was a wonderful mix of warmth, humor, and spirituality!

When we first met with Rabbi Barry, he talked us through each ceremony element he usually incorporates, and a variety of interpretations of those elements, ranging from most religious to most spiritual, allowing us to select which felt the most personal and appropriate. He was very flexible and open to our contributions of readings and music that meant a lot to us as a couple.

We received so much positive feedback from our friends and family after our ceremony. He was engaging, funny, and very genuine. (My dad's Roman Catholic family also very much appreciated Rabbi Barry's explanation of the significance of each Jewish tradition we incorporated.) I would absolutely recommend Rabbi Barry for a Jewish or interfaith ceremony!

Rabbi Barry was fantastic! He was extremely professional in every aspect. He was able to easily accommodate an interfaith ceremony with my wife's family priest. We received so many compliments of the Rabbi during the reception from our guests. Also, the Rabbi designed our Ketubah. We had a different style in mind and the Rabbi drove to our sight and spent several hours getting the right angle and designed our Ketubah exactly how we envisioned it. We loved everything the Rabbi did for us and we highly recommend him for every wedding!

Rabbi Barry officiated our wedding on May 31st, 2014. He was professional, deeply spiritual, and incredibly warm. He strikes a special sense of balance between Jewish tradition, spirituality, personalization, and humor. Rabbi Barry Tuchman recently officiated at our wedding. The moment we met him we knew he should be standing next us on our wedding day. He is warm, kind, sincere and funny! He listened to us as a couple and how we felt the ceremony should go, added in suggestions and of course his own special touch. Rabbi Barry did such an amazing job, it was more than we could have asked for! All of our guests kept saying how perfect our ceremony was and how great you were. Lots of people said they laughed and cried and felt so much love during the ceremony. My family has been to several weddings recently and they said this ceremony was their favorite!

My husband and I especially like how he kept us in the present moment, so we could enjoy and remember every bit of it.

Rabbi Barry officiated my sister's wedding almost a decade ago. While years passed, our memory of the special ceremony he conducted never left our minds. My husband I - both the offspring of mixed-faith parents - knew we wanted a spiritual wedding connected to our Jewish roots but not so unrelateable that our diverse guests would not feel emotionally connected. Rabbi Barry delivered a ceremony that exceeded our dreams. From our first phone call, to getting to know him in the comfort of his home, to discussing our vows, Rabbi Barry made sure that the ceremony itself was the most special part of the wedding.

On the wedding day, Rabbi Barry traveled in the pouring rain after suffering with food poisoning and nonetheless conducted a ceremony that every guest remarked was the most touching ceremony they have witnessed. People of all faiths commented how spiritual and loving it felt, that they could see the love between us that Rabbi Barry highlighted and understood the significance of the various Jewish traditions.

Rabbi Barry is a superstar. We will never forget our 30 minutes of fame standing up there with him!

We chose Rabbi Tuchman after interviewing other Rabbis in the Los Angeles area. We found him to be professional, humorous, and affable. We met him in person and had a follow meeting on Skype. Rabbi Tuchman helped create a custom experience for us and addressed all of our questions promptly. Many of our wedding guests commented that the ceremony was beautiful and symbolic. We would highly recommend him to any couple looking for a interfaith wedding officiant.

Rabbi Barry officiated our wedding in October 2013 and it was just wonderful. My (now) husband and I consider ourselves spiritual and he's got a Jewish background so we definitely wanted a rabbi to officiate, but it seemed a little difficult to find a rabbi that would not only fit our needs, but also be 100% accepting, flexible and accommodating for the ceremony (wording, traditions, etc). From his energy to his delivery, Rabbi Barry hooked us in from our very first meeting at his home space - and we're sure he had the same affect on the guests at our wedding. We're very happy to have met and had the chance to celebrate with Rabbi Barry and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a captivating officiant.

Rabbi Tuchman was the officiant at my son's wedding, and he is amazing. After the ceremony, several friends and family made it a point to tell me how the ceremony was inspiring and beautiful.
