Absolutely amazing
Samantha did absolutely amazing with our photos! I am obsessed with how they turned out. Her dedication and creativity was more than we could have asked for. She was very responsive if you had a question and if we ever needed an idea or some feedback she knew exactly how we could make something work. I will definitely be using her in the future for any picture needs! Thank you so much for helping make our day absolutely amazing! -

Everything went smoothly, she was great with communication, and pictures turned out beautiful
Initial impressions was perfect for our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. They made the picture process easy and comfortable. Each and every picture turned out beautiful and made me want every single one hanging up in our home. It was so nice to feel like we were re-living the day and would recommend them to anyone! The turnaround time was also quicker than expected even during this time of year. We love Sam! -

Great quality! It was great working with Samantha!
Samantha was extremely professional and made sure to capture all of the amazing moments of my wedding day. Her colors are vibrant, which is what drew me to her in the first place. My wildflowers really popped against the white and grey dresses. I highly recommend Initial Impressions by Samantha. She is high quality with a reasonable price! -

I knew Samantha would do a fantastic job based on my past experience with having photos taken by her before, I knew I could leave the creativeness of the photos completely in her hand- she knew the best places for the premium shots bc she has worked my venue before. She used the weather (very windy day) to our advantage and positioned us accordingly- She got meaningful shots that I didn't even ask for- and she encompassed a passage out of our vows to get me the one perfect shot I wanted- -

Blown Away!
When I say I cried when I got to see my wedding photos, they weren’t small tears. I was IN LOVE with how they turned out. So glad we went with Initial Impressions. Samantha was so helpful. She helped us plan our timeline for the day, had us all coordinated and ready to go. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. She definitely went above and beyond her duties. -

My Forever Go To
We have now worked with Initial Impressions on 3 different occasions. Our engagement pics, elopement pics, and our big wedding day pics as well! Samantha and her partner are highly professional, will guide you to make the experience more comfortable if not used to pictures being taken, and will just capture the best of everything. Samantha was awesome with giving shot list guidance and suggestions as well as attending to wishes and changes on the spot! I cannot recommend her enough. -

Wonderful photographer and amazing photos!!!
We could not be happier with our decision to use Initial Impressions for our wedding last month. Right away I knew we had made a good choice because of how quickly Samantha replied to my initial questions, and our communication remained quick and smooth throughout the planning process, which was very important to me. She helped answer all of my questions and guided us when we weren't sure of anything. Her help in planning the "day of" schedule was wonderful, as I had no idea what I was doing. Samantha and Katie were wonderful on our wedding day. Everything ran so smoothly, in large part due to them, and we all felt so comfortable with them. And our pictures! Oh my goodness, they turned out even better than I thought they would! We love them so much. There is a good mix of candid pictures throughout the afternoon and evening, as well as beautiful posed ones. We wanted photos that looked natural and captured who we are as a couple, and Samantha got that perfectly! If you're considering hiring her, just do it, you won't regret it. Thank you Samantha (and Katie)!!! -

We ADORE Initial Impressions. From fixing a failing fake eyelash to handling my drunken wife and in-laws, Samantha handled everything with good humor and professionalism. We even changed first look location due the heat and the photos are wonderful. She captured all of moments uniquely but also captured exactly how we were feeling, full of love, joy, and a bit of the inebriated. We had so much fun and cannot wait to find another reason for Samantha and her team to capture our next special moment. -

Samantha does a FANTASTIC job! Not only is she super creative with different and fun ideas, she somehow always captures photos from the perfect angles. She made my wedding day a memorable one and was able to capture the ceremony perfectly without being blatantly in the aisle or in the way. No one even knew she was there!! At the end of my day I had photos that I will cherish forever, and her editing skills are top notch! I use her for all of my family’s photo needs.
