    Made planning easy!

I’ve known Jen my whole life, and when I finally got engaged I knew I wanted to hire her. Jen and Thelma were fantastic, and paid attention to every single detail! The planning sessions, to-do lists, and timelines were vital. We couldn’t have had a beautiful wedding without them. They had a great list of vendors that we could pull from for anything we needed. I was so nervous the day of, but she was literally by my side the entire day.

My husband and I could not have been happier working with Jen and Thelma! We did full service and gladly say it was worth every penny. Thelma was incredible! She worked with us through all of the difficult parts particularly the logistics and kept us on budget. Jen was remarkable in helping us make our vision for our wedding a reality. Her eye for detail and design is just incredible! It can be overwhelming how many things you do not know when planning a wedding, we could not have done it without her and Thelma. Our wedding was PERFECT!!! They both worked with the vendors and had everything set up exactly the way we had dreamed of. It allowed us to enjoy our time getting ready, and preparing for the ceremony instead of worrying about set up. They were also critical in allowing our ceremony and reception to run like clockwork. Less Stress!! It was the best day of our lives, and we owe it all to Jen and Thelma at Infatuating Affairs. Thank you Jen and Thelma!! -Trichelle and Glenn

Jen and Thelma were wonderful and fun to work with. We planned our wedding from out of state, and they provided us with day-of coordination services. The day went off without a hitch, and everything was executed so beautifully. They understood my vision, design, and style, and I couldn't be happier with the memories we walked away with because of the great job they did. One of the best decisions we made in order to have a stress-free day was to hire them. So glad we did!

    Seriously, the best!

Hire them! I am so glad that we hired Infatuating Affairs for our wedding, we had so many guests compliment how amazing they did and that it
was even one of the best weddings they have ever attended. I hired them pretty late in the game, and the second I did, Cori and Jenn hit the ground running. All of their suggestions elevated and improved the vision and vibe of our wedding. I was so stressed leading up to the wedding, but anytime I worked with Cori and Jenn they alleviated my stress, answered all my questions as well as got all the necessary things done to make sure our wedding would go smoothly. The day of our wedding I was so excited and was truly able to enjoy the day, but this was because I hired Infatuating Affairs, so I knew our wedding was in good hands. When I got to our venue, I was just blown away of how beautiful Cori and Jenn set up the venue and it far exceeded our expectations. Our day felt so special, personal, and intimate; exactly what my husband and I wanted for our wedding. Our wedding ran so smoothly because of them. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, I highly recommend you hire them for your wedding too!

    Great Experience

Thelma and Cori did a phenomenal job helping us finalize the details of our wedding! My fiancé and I scheduled our wedding date 2 months out and they jumped right in to assist and coordinate. They helped make the day run as smoothly as possible. They carried themselves with great professionalism and were an overall great help to getting things done efficiently and with speed. They demonstrated strong communication with all of our vendors involved and did an excellent job executing the itinerary! My husband and I highly recommend using Infatuating Affairs to help plan and coordinate your wedding day!

Immediately when we brought on the Infatuating Team, Jenn and Thelma were wonderful. They are extremely talented and really fun to work with. Jenn and Thelma are knowledgeable, professional, and sincere. I could tell it really meant the world to them to make my dream day a reality. The vendors they introduced me to were invaluable, from my wonderful photographer Alicia, to my florist Rachel, they literally made sure I worked with the best in the business. Their execution on my wedding day of was seamless! We had over 350 guests, and a ton of details, and not a detail was missed or overlooked. I seriously could not have asked for a better team of planners to work with. I would definitely recommend them for your next wedding or event. I wish you ladies nothing but success because you deserve it!

Infatuating Affairs a.k.a Jen and Thelma made my wedding day to be something out of a magazine. My wedding day was Perfect because of Infatuating Affairs. What ever idea I gave to them, they put there own design and marketing element and brought my dream to life.
Thelma the planner and organizer was cool, collected and 100% in control of every situation, glitches that arose and trust me you need a Planner who can be in control of situations.
Jennifer the designer of my wedding was a design genius!! All elements of my vision for my day and then some she made happen :). She listened to all my ideas and then incorparated her design swag.
They day of the wedding ran smoothly and I wouldn't change anything for the world!
Thank you Infatuating Affairs for making my day as special as it was

We had a fantastic fun-filled wedding. Everyone commented on how relaxed and engaged we were during the entire weekend. And we were not stressed about any of the logistics or other details - because of Infatuating Affairs. They were simply beyond incredible- everything we asked for and much more. Professional, timely, meticulous, attentive, calm and just on top of every single thing. Infatuating was the best decision we made in planning our wedding and we enthusiastically recommend them without reservation. You will be thrilled you chose these guys!

After initially meeting with the Infatuating Affairs team, I felt very comfortable that they had a clear vision of the wedding we wanted and confident that they could get the job done. Not only did they meet, but they exceeded my expectations. Through the months of planning, they stayed focused, attentive and professional. Their dedication, resourcefulness and attention to each detail was phenomenal. They were very careful to keep our budget in mind and used their many creative ideas to create a wedding that was absolutely beautiful. It was obvious from our first meeting that our complete satisfaction was their goal. The day of the wedding Thelma and Jenn interfaced with our vendors and guests, oversaw every last detail, and managed the event so professionally, the day was perfect. We received so many compliments from guests on every aspect of the wedding, from the ceremony, to the food, flowers, music and décor. I cannot thank Infatuating Affairs enough for the amazing job they did in creating such a beautiful memory for our daughter.

I met with Jennifer from IA and we hit it off wonderfully at our first meeting. After our initial meeting I knew she got me and what I envisioned for my daughters first birthday. She started to put all my ideas and vision together along with suggestions that made things flow and thematic. Her suggestions enhanced the overall event. Throughout the planning we would encounter challenges but Jennifer took ownership and did excellent troubleshooting. This is what sets IA apart from other planning boutiques. Jennifer was so dedicated and planned everything to such detail as if it was her own child's first birthday!
She kept my budget in mind and would come up with cost effective ways to make sure my vision was not altered because of cost. Jennifer came over the night before to event to set up and make sure we had all supplies and decorations were in place. she then also showed up on the day of along with an assistant and stayed to make sure everything was perfect. I would wholeheartedly refer the ladies of Infatuating Affairs to anyone planning a celebration.

We had the pleasure of working with Jenn and Thelma with regards to planning our special day. Their guidance from the beginning through the wedding day proved to be quite insightful. They were open to listening to our suggestions and ideas even when we didn’t agree.

We chose Infatuating Affairs for day of planning and they were definitely worth the money. This team is amazing and can really help you get your planning in order in a pinch. My husband and I tried to do most of the planning on our own, but as the date drew near, we knew we needed day of coordination, but couldn't afford to break the bank. Jennifer and Themla's prices are reasonable. Jenn really helped me to secure vendors that didn't overcharge (especially the florist), but provided great service, and to get my day of checklist up to date and accomplished. I would say if you are looking for beautiful decor and staging on a budget, infatuating affairs is the way to go for day of planning services.

More fitting for venues that are all inclusive

I believe they would be wonderful planners for a traditional all inclusive
wedding venue/package. However, I had a non traditional venue with multiple
independent vendors, not connected to the venue. I felt that the planners
were unfamiliar with this setup, therefore pre-wedding I felt I didn't
receive their full assistance and attention. However, their service on my
wedding day turned out well, even with some oversights. Special thanks to
their assistants, my guests commented about their hard work. In addition,
thank you for the recommendations for the officiant, florist, and the
photographer they were great. I had a great wedding and everyone had fun.

    Terrible wedding planning experience

From the inception, it was a major undertaking for a short window in which I relied on your expertise that you could seamlessly make this happen.  However, from the beginning there were communication difficulties. I understand you had some challenges, to include me with a tall order in a short window.  However, there were also other considerations to contend with to include a myriad of your family, personal and work related hurdles you had to juggle. This was concerning and discussed when we initially advised we wanted to move in a different direction and reduce your role from planning and coordinating to just handling the decor.  I had to extend grace beyond understanding and stated in an earnest effort of concern… “that if this is too much, please let me know.” YOU assured me there is no problem and we could proceed.

This is my first and only experience with being a bride and getting married, so I entrusted and relied upon your expertise that you represented and moreover, as “a friend.”  I located the hall and you interceded and reviewed and okay’d the agreement.  I trusted that judgment.  Granted, in hindsight it grew from a micro-wedding to a full wedding, but it was not until my husband reviewed the contract when we were literally on the brink of cancellation, that it was discovered I was locked in. After a careful review, I discovered that I signed it 4 days after you signed off and was caught off guard that we were planing for over 100 people and you not once said this is in violation of the contract. Fortunately there was some loose interpretation that allowed us to proceed.

This all followed after my husband literally visited and “walked” the space with the venue and fully expressed the discussed, planned and agreed upon vision between you and I had set in place  It was the venue’s first time even hearing of the plans, layout and let alone guest count approximation from him.  This of course was after you conveyed you would inform the venue of that count.  Now I anticipate you will say that our numbers changed, but they adjusted between 20-30 people (still over 100 and at a minimum least exceeding the contracted amount of 50) and that was after the whole “brand new” email interface that horrifically went out three times because it was not proven or used prior to the experimentation of our event. A final wedding day layout came to be because I literally had to go there in person, frantic and in tears to meet with the venue and design it, then had to have my husband intervene to convince the venue of what we wanted and renegotiate so the wedding could be had, the “reception” go forward and ceremony and cocktail hour remain as planned.

It was also as a result of his walkthrough that the “candle issue” was discovered as well as the need for a last minute adjustment with the decor.  I will make no excuse for being a first-time bride.  I know that I went unchecked for the guest count, I know that I went over budget and had to adjust (last minute) reducing same and cutting out things I dreamed of.  And I know that I had moments of not realizing the impact of last minute changes and not knowing etiquette, protocols or planning. But this should not have been your first “first-time bride” experience and how to navigate that and that is where the “expertise” as a planner comes in.  Discussions with vendors at the last minute, never having performed a last minute dry-run of the venue and on the cuff adjustments that in fact came together, was an emotional roller-coaster.

Overall it turned out to be a saving, yet beautiful final result.  But, it was stressful, unnerving and truly a test of my faith and patience.  Between your full time jobs, personal activities, sicknesses, just plain excuses, it was the grace of God that things came together. Granted, under the pressure, you were able to pull things together, but the process was honestly, disappointing and a huge problem.  So much so that even you recognized the missteps and that is the only reason why we chose to continue with you with hopes of improvement.  While there was some marked improvements, we still had even on the day of the wedding issues where I finally said the hell with everything, it will be what it what it will be.

What was most disheartening was the last exchange we had when I discovered (despite our verbal discussion that use of some of the photos would collaboratively be selected between us given we were using a professional) was that not only did you block me on social media and your phone, but your further chose non-professional photos you took personally and posted same. That is why I reached out and the following exchange occurred…Me: Good morning Jen, I just wanted to reach out to let you know I am not comfortable with you using my wedding photos for your business. Please be advised. Thank you. Jen: Good morning, I am sorry you feel that way. We have never had an experience with a client end as grotesquely as this. Please be advised that per the contract you signed you gave permission for us to use the photos. (See screenshot below). “However, don’t worry, we wont use them anyway as they don’t align with our portfolio and we’d rather not revisit the experience;” This dismissive attitude was consistent with the attitude raised during identified concerns.  What is of interesting note is that the very same images that didn’t fit your portfolio, you found fit to block me, use them anyway and not even seek input of which images I may or may not approve…that was the real issue for me.
