Shanta Ford was the absolute best choice for a wedding florist. Her bouquets and centerpieces are much more than flower arrangements they are art. She took my original idea and brought it to life with amazing detail, creativity And style only an expert with artistic talent would be able to bring that would make any bride envious. I was blown away when the final product was first shown to me and then brought to me on my wedding day. She was so kind and patient to work with me through the uncertainty and craziness of choosing something for that special day. I spent a lot of time looking with my mother’s sometimes a curse sometimes a blessings an artist eye for real flowers that would bring that aroma and life to my wedding. Almost went with fake flowers, but didn’t wanna have any regrets & so glad that I went with my gut. I would have put her up against any of the elite Wedding florist in the nation, and she would exceed them in her artwork. The Flowers made the room and didn’t break the bank. Her detailing was so carefully crafted that she even added a jewel to my bride bouquet that I felt between my fingers as I walked down the aisle, now a keepsake that I will keep for a lifetime to remember the strength it gave me with every step. Thank you for everything you did for me and for us for our special day. -

Shonta is an amazing florist. She is so accommodating to your vision and her goal is to always amaze you. She was part of our large and long Egyptian wedding. She was able to give us exactly with what we envisioned from the church in NJ to our venue in Philly the same day. She made the whole event space look like a million dollars. Everyone complimented the decorations and pieces and enjoyed the atmosphere she created. I can’t thank her enough!! -

Shonta was amazing to work with! I didn't even know where to begin with thinking about my vision for our wedding day and she helped me work through the basics to come up with a game plan. She was very flexible when I asked to make last minute changes to the color scheme and the flowers were just SO beautiful!! I absolutely loved the pop of color I decided on last minute and it was so nice to see it all come to life. -

Our floral displays, bouquets, boutonniere and corsages could not have been more beautiful. Shonta was so quick to respond to all my questions/comments leading up to the wedding. We had so many compliments from guests on how amazing the florals looked. I even had the chance to watch her staff set up the ceremony display while I was getting my makeup done from the hotel. There was so much thought, energy and detail that went into it. They delivered everything on top and were absolutely amazing. We can’t say enough great things! I thoroughly loved how beautiful and large the flowers were for my wedding, especially the roses! Shonta is an excellent communicator and captured my vision of purple floral’s perfectly! She was especially helpful with my accommodation of using my own pottery for the centerpieces. I highly recommend! -

Shonta did an AMAZING job fulfilling the vision we had for our wedding day!! Originally when we booked Indigo Blooms, we had wanted minimal flowers with lots of greenery. About 1.5 months before the wedding we changed our minds and wanted to add a lot more white roses/florals. Shonta easily accommodated our requests. She was very responsive via email and was quick to answer any of my questions. Our guests all commented on how beautiful the outdoor ceremony florals were. Our florals added so much magic to the day! Thank you again, Shonta. -

Shonta was so wonderful to work with for our wedding. She was quick to communicate with us and was more than willing to work within our budget. Shonta provided everything we asked for and more- our day was absolutely beautiful thanks to her floral work. We were even able to re-use the arbor pieces in the reception venue so we got to enjoy them twice! We would definitely recommend working with Indigo Blooms to anyone looking to make their event beautiful and special! -

Absolutely amazing!
I used Indigo Blooms for the drapery decorations and floral decorations for my wedding. There are not enough words to describe the beautiful job that Shonta and her team did to transform my wedding venue into the fairytale wedding that I envisioned for my big day! I got Indigo Blooms’ name off of Stokesay Castle’s preferred vendor list, reached out to Shonta, and heard back from her within an hour! I am in a different town than Shonta, so I sent her a lot of pictures of the decorations and flowers that I wanted for my wedding. I have no idea how she did it, but this magical lady matched the floral colors precisely to the pictures that I sent her. She was always available and answered all of my questions from the very beginning, all the way up to the day of my wedding. Shonta and her team truly love what they do and it shines through when you see the end result of their beautiful work! Please consider using Indigo Blooms for your special occasion. I promise you will be as thrilled as I was! -

Shonta and her crew do an amazing job with all their events whether it is for a wedding, birthday, or just a surprise party. We hired Shonta to decorate our wedding venue and to cater the cocktail hour and dinner. The venue looked gorgeous, and the food was great as well. I cannot stress enough how she can take any room in any location and flip it into the venue of your dreams. You also do not need to worry about anything during your wedding. You can enjoy your special occasion while knowing Shonta and her team will take care of everything in the background. She is also great to work with. We made many last-minute changes to the menu, and she was extremely patient every step along the way. We are grateful for everything she did for us. Thank you, Shonta, for making our wedding day special. -

Wow, where to begin?
I spoke to and was quoted prices by many florists. Not only were they totally out of my price range, but they also did not completely understand my vision for my wedding day.
Shonta was a breath of fresh air! She completely understood (and improved) what I wanted and didn’t make me feel like I had to go bankrupt to add beauty to my day. She has amazing communication skills, as well as being one of the most pleasant and enjoyable parts of my wedding planning. Honestly, planning a safe wedding during a pandemic is enough to push anyone over the edge but every time I spoke to Shonta, I hung up the phone smiling ear to ear.
The day of, her and her amazing team set up my center pieces and delivered my flowers to my hotel room. I’m pretty sure I broke the 6 foot protocol to hug Shonta. I couldn’t help it! My flowers were just...beyond perfect. I received so many compliments but they really all should be sent to Indigo Blooms.
Everything was so beautiful, I’m looking forward to another event just to use their services again! I recommend Indigo Blooms to anyone that asks (...and sometimes even if they don’t ask!) -

Because of COVID-19, I had postponed my original wedding and opted for a smaller wedding with just family that we planned all in one month. Shonta was so amazing, responsive, and flexible on such short notice. We even changed the date three days before because it was going to rain and she accommodated us. She made everything so easy by setting everything up and taking it all down while taking the necessary safety precautions. The floral arrangements were also beautiful and really made a simple backyard look like a professional wedding venue. I would highly recommend Indigo Blooms. Your day will be beautiful and planning will be a breeze! -

Wonderful to work with, flawless execution, great value!
Shonta was wonderful to work with, she took the time to listen to our vision, and did additional research but looking at my Pinterest boards and requesting pictures! She used her expertise to create a quote that articulated all the details, right down to the types of flowers to be used in the bouquets. She even rented us the centerpieces themselves, which meant we weren't left with 100 hurricane candles in our apartment (ha!). She took care of everything, flowers and decorations were delivered on time (early) and perfectly set up before I even got there, she was like a magical flower fairy, I didn't even see her the day of, everything was where it needed to be exactly when it needed to be there. They also offered an incredible value. For the quality of the service delivered, at their prices, I was absolutely blown away. I loved working with Indigo Blooms!!! -

Shonta was a fabulous florist and great to work with! All the bouquets were absolutely stunning, the alter arrangements were incredibly beautiful, and the escort arrangement and centerpieces were exactly what I was looking for- elegant and summery (while still sticking to our burgundy and blush color palette)! The guests absolutely loved all of the arrangements and we got compliments throughout the evening from everyone- guests were ecstatic to be able to take home the flowers from the centerpieces at the end of the evening! We also worked with her to include two mirror wedding signs (one welcome sign and one ceremony program) and they were wonderful- very precise wording and incredibly elegant frames!
Shonta was absolutely fabulous to work with, and was very insightful throughout the whole process. We did a venue walk through to go over what the layout of the space would be for the wedding day, where we'd want different arrangements placed, and what styles we were interested in. She also provided a sample arrangement to be sure that we were on the same page and that the decor was fitting what we'd imagined. -

We renewed our vows for our 25th wedding anniversary because we never had a wedding and from the moment we met Shonta, she was amazing! We have no regrets and we will definitely use her in he future as well as recommend her to anyone that needs her assistance. She had the table, sweetheart table, cake and gazebo looking fabulous! She is very responsive. I never had to wait more than a few hours for a reply from her. She was on time and made sure everything went well. She gave helpful suggestions since we were new to this. We love Shonta! -

Our flowers were stunning and we received comments from all of our guests about the beauty they added to our ceremony and reception. We had initially begun with another florist and I decided to get quotes from others in the area for the same ideas. Shonta came in well below the other florist and absolutely did not disappoint! My cake decorator even wants her information due to her stunning eye for design! One minor hiccup was my throw away bouquet seemed to have been forgotten, but Shonta had provided for nice surprises like sprucing up our sweetheart table with flowers which I hadn't even asked for which was AMAZING! I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about Shonta, her ability to enhance an already stunning location into the most beautiful wedding venue I have ever seen went above and beyond my dreams for the perfect wedding. At our final meeting, she expressed concerns about flowers not being up to par due to it being the end of the season for their blooms and she provided for some amazing replacements which enhanced our 2.5 foot tall draping centerpiece arrangements even more! She even provided lighting for our gazebo which allowed for THE most beautiful wedding photos of the evening! She even came back at the end of the evening and helped to clean up! Our venue had told us she had been there for hours when I arrived at around 2pm and stayed until past 4 just to place down our rose petals at the ceremony so they wouldn't blow away with the wind in the early afternoon! I would HIGHLY recommend Shonta as a wedding florist to anyone in need! Absolutely incredible work. -
