I cannot recommend Rebecca and Amanda at Indian Head highly enough! Working with Rebecca leading up to our wedding was a joy—she was so kind and attentive during every phone call and email, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. Amanda took the lead the day before our wedding and throughout the wedding weekend. Her attention to detail and coordination skills were phenomenal. She made sure everything was perfectly set up and even went above and beyond by bringing food to our room for us to enjoy later, as we barely had a chance to eat on such a busy day. The venue itself is stunning, offering a beautiful backdrop for our special day. The staff at Indian Head are professional and genuinely care about making each couple's experience memorable. If you’re looking for a venue with amazing coordinators who are dedicated to making your wedding unforgettable, look no further than Indian Head. Thank you, Rebecca and Amanda, for everything! -

We got married this past November at Indian Head and truly had an amazing experience! Rebecca and her team were outstanding. Rebecca was an absolute pleasure to deal with from our first meeting to the last minutes of our reception she really delivered our perfect wedding.
The whole staff at Indian head top to bottom did an incredible job. No request went unfulfilled. We couldn’t have been happier with the level of service we got all weekend.
The food is amazing and they dont let you leave hungry. We did a rehearsal dinner and after party along with the reception and it was all delicious. They have a wide variety to fit anyone’s tastes.
The ceremony area and reception hall’s views of Shadow lake and the White Mountains are breathtaking and made for some really amazing pictures and video.
If your considering a white mountain wedding definitely give Rebecca a call . You won’t be disappointed. Ask about the fireworks too.

Loved our experience with Indian Head. We toured Sept 2023 and booked by Nov for our Oct 2025 wedding. We did our tasting Feb 2025. Rebecca was our lead contact throughout the whole process, she was very responsive and always able to answer any question we had. They were very flexible with requests and very much felt like they wanted us to have the best experience possible. One of the main selling points to us was the view and the fact that there was a bar/restaurant, pool, and hotel on site. This made it very convenient for our guests as they all had to travel to have somewhere to stay with everything they'd need on the property. Majority of them stayed here and used the restaurant for breakfast and the bar the night before. We also loved that there was a bridal suite 10 steps away from reception room. This made it super easy to pop in and check on things the morning of. We also had a Friday wedding so Thursday we had the room to setup and not worry about doing everything the morning of. This alliviated a lot of stress. The property also has 3 houses. We rented two of them, one for the groomsmen and another for my parents and us. Very nice to have more room than just a hotel room. On the night of the wedding we were given a room that was decorated and romantic. They also did a room block for us that they set up as soon as we booked with a discount code, we didn't have to put any money down for that. The whole night went seemless and Rebecca kept us on track. We had soooo many compliments on the food, steak tips & mac and cheese were the biggest hits as well as late night bites of pretzel bites and pizza. There was also a small s'mores station set up that I was obsessed with. Everything was amazing. -

Our decision to get married at Indian Head Resort on June 21, 2025 was unquestionably a very good one!
- The backdrop for our outside ceremony was breathtaking. Just look at the photos!
- The indoor ceremony in the reception hall was intimate yet comfortable for our 85 guests and a full band. The max would be around 110 people I think.
- The Aarowhead condo we rented for two nights was the perfect headquarters and we had a BBQ with close to 40 people the night before the event. Worked awesome. Just tell your friends and family to park near the resort and walk 2/10 of a mile or use the shuttle.
- Rebecca did a super job prompting us over the 7 months from commitment to “the day” making sure every detail was clear and orchestrating things so we actually enjoyed our day without concerns. Huge thanks to her and her team.
- We were given free reign to decorate the hall which we took full advantage of. Fairy lights and whatnot make the ambiance very special.
- They let us bring our dogs to the ceremony, which was very important to us.
- Rebecca worked with our minister to manage the ceremony and then with the band to manage the reception. We had no problems or surprises. Just a great time with our friends and family and a ton of great pictures.
- Many of our guests told us they thought the event was very well done and that the food was some of the best at any wedding. We opted for the buffet and what was served was the same as what we tasted at Rebecca’s invitation a few months before the big day. Quantity and quality of food was top notch!
- We opted for a cash bar which was staffed well and offered nice selections including my non-alcoholic “Run Wild” IPA.
- Many of our guests stayed at the Inn and we had 20 of them join us for breakfast the next morning in the resort dining room! That was a great way to end our weekend.
Kudos to Indian Head Resort for making this event a huge success!

A Dream Wedding
We got married at Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, NH on May 25, 2024, and it was truly the best night of our lives. The setting is absolutely breathtaking—a stunning lake and mountain view that made every photo look like a postcard.
The food was incredible, and our family and friends still talk about the entire experience to this day—from the gorgeous scenery to the seamless flow of the celebration. From the very beginning of planning to the last dance, Rebecca, our wedding coordinator, was a dream to work with. She handled every detail seamlessly and made the entire process completely stress-free.
Everything about the day was perfect, and we can’t recommend Indian Head Resort enough to any couple looking for a beautiful, memorable wedding venue.

From first sight, we were sold on the venue. After we signed the paperwork, Rebecca was there for us through the entire process. We cannot get over how beautiful everything turned out and all of our guests have been complimenting the location and the food non stop! We had such an amazing wedding at Indian Head! The staff was wonderful and very helpful! The wedding planner, Rebecca was amazing, she really knows her stuff! She went above and beyond, as did the whole staff. The space is perfect, the dance floor is perfect sized, the photos ops are beautiful. We would highly recommend coming here! Specially, everything is in house! They had a shuttle come drop off and pick up people for our reception pre drinks. These are the best people and facilities! The food was fantastic! They were able to accommodate to eating restrictions and gluten-free. Can't wait to come back on our anniversary! -

Exceptional
I’m so happy we went with the Indian Head for our wedding. It was such an amazing experience from start to finish. Rebecca, Emily and all the staff were amazing leading up to the big day and on the big day itself. Rebecca was by my side every step of the day even went and got one of my bridesmaids shawl that was left in one of the houses. The food was amazing our guests still talk about it. If you’re wondering if this is the place to have your wedding I would highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed. -

Trying to plan a covid wedding was a little unsettling… the resort always tried to answer us accurately but it was hard for them too. We decided to postpone a year and with covid winding down and personnel changes, we were very pleasantly surprised with the dedicated personal attention to our wedding weekend that we received. From the front desk, to the restaurant staff, and of course the wedding coordinator we didn’t realize we would have, everything was amazing. The front desk was happy to hand out our guest gift bags that invaded their space, the restaurant staff was accommodating and polite, the breakfast buffet was awesome. The heated pool and hot tub were a great amenity.
Our party had many kinds of accommodations- houses, bungalows, rooms, and the staff was quick to get us checked in an overly timely manner. For our rehearsal dinner, we had no decorations, and the staff, to our surprise put out lovely center pieces that we walked into.
I can’t say enough good about the service we received including many small personal touches that were incredibly thoughtful and personal.
Spending many days of Massachusetts feb vacation at the resort, I think In order to maintain their integrity they somewhat under promised but absolutely over delivered. We had 100 guests arriving between Wednesday and Sunday and everyone had such a great time. Emily was amazing as well as the rest of the staff. She was incredibly responsive throughout our experience even up to the very last details. -

I have nothing bad to say about our wedding at the Indian Head. It was the absolute perfect wedding. The staff were there every step of the way! Nick and Emily are so helpful and friendly, they really made us feel special! The attention to detail they provided, and the all the support they offered to us was outstanding! Nick even went out of his way to set up our lanterns with some chardonay on our balcony for when we returned to our room. The catering company was amazing, they even got out and danced with us at the end of the night! The food was absolutely amazing, and the views are to die for! We had such a wonderful weekend here with our family and friends. From being in the pools and jacuzzis to partying in the mountainview house, we truly had the best weekend of our lives so far here! 10/10 would recommend having your wedding here. We are so happy we chose to have ours here! -

Perfect Day!
We could not have asked for a better wedding day! This location is BEAUTIFUL (mountains and pond), Jennifer, Emily, and their team are AMAZING and FLEXIBLE (respond quickly, handle changes smoothly, very accommodating), and the food was DELICIOUS (so many options to choose from for all dietary needs as well as the ability to work with the chefs to tailor the experience and flavors to you)! I couldn’t be happier with our decision to get married at Indian Head Resort. We are from Rhode Island and New Hampshire is our favorite place to adventure to. Hedi, Jennifer, and the team at Indian Head went out of their way to make sure that our wedding went as smoothly as possible. We originally planned to get married in 2020, but with covid we had rescheduled for 2021. This process was stress free and I couldn’t have been more thankful. The staff made sure every detail was planned and ready to go. They even drove to our condo when we forgot our bouquets. We were having so much fun on the ride over we didn’t realize until we got there that we had forgotten them. Hedi helped us fix this problem in minutes! I am so thankful to have had her help that weekend. If you are thinking about choosing Indian Head this is your sign. Do it! I am still on cloud nine from that day. I got married on 7/24/21 and had a dream day because of Indian Head and their amazing staff. We had 75 people at our wedding which felt like a good amount for the space, but it definitely could accommodate ore guests. The venue is gorgeous with beautiful mountain views and a pond. The food for the rehearsal dinner and reception was so delicious (the mac and cheese and salmon were big hits amongst ourselves and our guests). We had a dedicated person who helped us with planning and a dedicated person on site with us the whole weekend who made sure everything went perfectly. The fact that our ceremony, reception, and lodging was on 1 property also made things very convenient for us and out guests. I would not change a thing about our day and we have the staff at Indian Head to thank for a large part of that!Indian Head Resort's reply:

I absolutely can not say enough how amazing everything was at my wedding on 7/3/21 at Indian Head. The food was amazing (all of my guests told me they loved the food too!) the reception room was gorgeous and the perfect size for your wedding of about 70 people. Even though it rained and I was not able to get married in the gazebo as planned our ceremony in the green room was absolutely gorgeous and I have no regrets at all about marrying inside. The staff is so great! From the bar tender to the waitress to the wedding coordinator everyone genuinely seems to love their job and really care about making your day special. Even the front desk staff seemed excited for my big day and made me feel amazing. I also had an open bar the whole night and the price I paid for this was very reasonable and my guests definitely loved that. Great value as well for the price and everything that is included. The list of preferred vendors they give you for photography, DJ, hair/makeup were all outstanding as well. Rain or shine this is the perfect place to get married in the white mountains. We first started working with Indian Head Resort in 2019 when we were planning our wedding for August of 2020. Due to the COVID pandemic, we had to postponed our wedding until July of 2021, which Indian Head handled very well, they allowed us to move our date without any charges or loss of funds. This was great for us, and took some of the pressure off during the pandemic.
Jennifer from Indian Head Resort worked with us throughout the entire process, making sure that we did not miss any details, big or small. We felt very taken care of going into the wedding.
Fast forward to the wedding weekend. We were able to do our decorations the day before the wedding (there wasn't an event on that night) which was very helpful, and Jennifer introduced her team to us, and we worked through some of the remaining details around the ceremony and reception.
On the day of we had Nick and Emily who coordinated everything. They ran around the resort, passing messages to my fiance, making sure that everyone was ready when needed, and nothing was missed. They coordinated with all of our vendors and made sure they were setup where needed, and had everything that they needed.
The care that the Indian Head staff put into their weddings is absolutely wonderful. There were a lot of nice surprises, like extra food we did not expect, they made sure that while we were taking pictures after the ceremony we were able to enjoy the appetizers that everyone else was enjoying during the cocktail hour. At the end of the night we had a nice honeymoon suite, with some champagne on ice, chocolate, and plates of food which came in real handy, and is just a really nice touch.
The food and drink were absolutely delicious, beyond our expectations despite us having tasted most of the food we ordered ahead of time.
I don't think you can go wrong with having your wedding at Indian Head Resort, they do everything they can to ensure a great experience for you as a couple and for your guests.Indian Head Resort's reply:

We were married 8/29/20 at Indian Head Resort. That means we were married during a pandemic with TWO hurricanes on our wedding day. We worked closely with Shelvy, she is nothing shy of a modern angel and nothing less of a wedding day blessing. She let me decide up until 15 minutes before where I wanted the ceremony and had her team organize and display everything perfectly. Due to the rain we were married inside, she gave me my options laid it out for me, kept me calm, so happy and the guests never even knew about my crippling indecision on what to do. Shelvy has such amazing people skills and her intentions are ALWAYS to make you happy. We were able to decorate the night before and have shelvy run our rehearsal. She got even the most confused groomsmen a lesson in how to walk and stand and everything was PERFECT! Our reception was gorgeous. The bright windows all around create amazing lighting and mountain theme even inside. The food is still being discussed and praised a month later, I’m a vegetarian with a severe allergy and they ensured the food did not come close to any of my allergies and other guests who suffer from allergies were well taken care of too. The resort itself is perfect for a wedding, with the views, rooms right at the location, a fame room, and indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs! They have everything for everyone. I can’t recommend this venue enough, when I think about my wedding day I just cry because it was perfect. Ask for shelvy!!
P.S the Indian head team was beyond helpful during my planning, calling me, checking in helping me with huge decisions and making sure everythin was done. Not enough good things to say!
I don’t even know where to start. Absolutely every single detail at our wedding was perfection. Every question we ever had along the way when planning was not only answered but I absolutely never felt annoying asking! (Since you definitely get to a point where you think you are asking too much). Jennifer ALWAYS made me important during planning and even more important on the big day. She is AMAZING and we couldn’t have had a better person ensuring our day was perfect. It was more than perfect. ALSO THE FOOD. Everyone loved everything they ate- and that doesn’t happen often at weddings!!! I even had some adjustments I needed to be made to my food and it was literally never a problem for the cook. You are all amazing and you should know how important you are to help making a persons wedding day unforgettable!! ❤️Indian Head Resort's reply:

Amanda Sent on 10/25/2017Got married at Indian Head on October 8th 2017. I don't normally write reviews of places but because the day was exactly what I wanted and it couldn't have been without Indian Head and their employees I knew I needed to write a review so people can be as happy as we were! It is an absolutely beautiful location with many feature- mountains, water, foliage if in the fall. I had a few guests that couldn't believe they were traveling 2 hours for a wedding but when they got there, they were impressed and saw why. Jen one of the wedding coordinators was AMAZING. Every time I called or had questions she got me the answers promptly. The day of she worked with me in the morning and even helped the day progress smoothly. The food was delicious. Everyone was happy with it and commented on how good it was. A couple of bonuses- they include the honeymoon suite with their packages. We choose to stay in the condo the night of the wedding since we had rented it and it was more private. They went over during the wedding and decorated the master bedroom and provided us with champagne and leftovers!! It was more than I could have hoped for. I would recommend Indian Head to anyone that asks! I will defiantly keep going back there as well for years to come!

Andrea Sent on 10/01/2017We were married here in August 2017. Our wedding was absolutely everything we could have asked for and more. The whole day went as planned - there wasn't any drama and we had the best day of our life! We had some not-so-traditional items in our wedding -an air guitar contest- and Indian Head was able to accommodate us without issue.
The food was outstanding! Guests actually went out of their way to let us know how wonderful the food was. We chose to do a buffet, and there were so many options that all of our guests were satisfied. They were even willing to create separate dishes for picky eaters and those with allergies.
The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We chose the archway, and the view of the mountains and lakes was stunning. The reception hall has floor to ceiling windows that overlook the mountains and lake, so really almost no decoration is required.
Our wedding coordinator Jennifer was outstanding. She was easily contacted, let us know when we had things coming up that we needed to get done, and was very accommodating to our varied requests. The value for your money is frankly unbeatable. We did a lot of research and discovered that if you are in the market for a beautiful outdoor wedding that is actually affordable - Indian Head is the place. I would say the only downside is that the resort does require some updates and repairs. Beyond that, the amenities that they do have are a blast - especially the outdoor hot tub (in any weather!) The highlight of the evening was the fireworks. Definitely worth it! This was a dream wedding that was a ton of fun! We actually had to kick our guests out - they didn't want to leave! We were married at IHR this past weekend & it was an incredible weekend for all of us - Bridal Party & our guests! We can't say thank you enough to the hard-working staff & our day of coordinator, Shelvy was the best! They were there to support us throughout the entire planning process, through the curve balls COVID-19 threw at us, they thought of everything & provided us with a clean & safe experience. The little extras & personal touches they added, really made the whole event spectacular! Our photos are incredible with the beautiful scenic backdrop of Shadow Lake & our view from the Lakeview Room was breathtaking. The food was delicious & plentiful, and the fireworks finale was so much better than we had expected! Beautiful location
All I have to say is gos bless Jennifer from the group program. She ia amazing and made our day the best. She put up for my craziness and made me feel ok. Ahw helped with everything so I didnt have to worry. The location was perfect with the the location. Only downside was our honeymoon suit was dirty and the bartender for the regular bar was very rude to us. Fire works show was to die forIndian Head Resort's reply:

Although we didn't get to eat much during our reception (most couples don't), we heard the food was great...and the little we did have was delicious!
The view is gorgeous and makes for beautiful pictures. I would highly recommend the Indian Head for your wedding! -

Loved everything about our wedding here. The property is beautiful. The lodging was perfect for our friends and family. Most came for the whole weekend and loved their mini vacation. After we booked at the Indian Head the contact person changed, which was confusing because no one ever said this is your contact now and I never met the new contact when I went to tour. I know the wedding coordinator must be busy, but she would never respond more than once and one day, so that was pretty difficult for planning to get an answer to a question and then have another question and have to wait days for another response (this was with the first contact person, the second, Jennifer was much easier to get in contact with). At one point I didn't hear back for a month and I only heard back once I reached out to someone else. This made planning pretty frustrating as some of the questions weren't just for me it was information that my vendors wanted to know so then they were waiting on me. Communication is really important to me and as planning went on I would tend to pick vendors that responded to me first instead of waiting a week. so it was frustrating to go to a new contact that took longer to reply when that wasn't the impression they first gave.
I felt like through the whole process of planning things that we were told on the tour were different from how things actually were. They have someone different for the wedding tours than the contact person for the wedding. I feel like if they could make it the same person it would prevent a lot of the confusion.
In the middle of planning the contact changed again which was confusing but doable.
For our menu tasting we scheduled with Jennifer and when we arrived to the Indian Head they were not expecting us. For whatever reason we were forgotten about for our tasting which was embarrassing, but luckily the chef was able to accommodate us and was very nice to make up all of our food unexpectedly.
They did upgrade us from the complimentary honeymoon sweet to a cabin out of the blue and on the wedding night there was a sweet surprise in the cabin.
We rented yiayias house for a place for the girls to get ready in and when we arrived there was dirty underwear hanging on the doorknob making us unsure how clean it actually was. Housekeeping came over and remade all of the beds just in case.
We had an open bar and were told that bartenders needed to be tipped by us and a tip jar wasn't allowed to be out, but during the reception there was a tip jar out so the bartender was double tipped which was frustrating since we were already spending so much money on our wedding. Also with the bartender I feel they should have taken out card info ahead of time because neither one of us had our wallets on us/new where they were with getting ready for the wedding all day. As well as being the "main attraction" of the night, but we were hunted down by the bartender like 2 hours after our wedding ended unaware that it wouldn't be put on the card we already had on file. I guess this would have been fine if we had known ahead of time, but I would have preferred it to be taken care of prior to the night of.
Overall, I would have my wedding here again. The night ended up great despite all the bumps on the way. Since they do weddings so often I just expected things to go more smoothly.Indian Head Resort's reply:
