Anu Sharma and her team were a true pleasure to work with. They did all of our wedding events from a kickoff party at home, to mehndi/sangeet and wedding/reception. Their food is definitely amazing and they put a twist on traditional Indian items. Even more than their food, their team went above and beyond to make everything so memorable for all of us. Their attention to detail, their creativity, and their overall passion for the events they cater are like no other. Indian Garden and Mantra are by far the best Indian restaurants in the Midwest. We are so grateful to have had them as caterers for our 3 days of wedding events. -

Mantra was our catering company for almost all wedding celebrations we had in May . Every event had over 300 people and reception was 500.
The food was absolutely delicious and the professionalism of the staff was top notch. We began the tasting process a year ago with Anu's assistant Kasia.
She guided us with picking the perfect menu for each function. All our guests were very complimentary of the food and that is the most important part of hosting events. Thank you Anu and Kasia and your wonderful team for making each of our events perfect. Ashu and Romita Dayal -

Food is one of the most important choices during your wedding planning process. Mantra is by far the best decision we made for our wedding! The experience from start to finish was unparalleled to any other catering in the entire area. They understand and work with you on executing your vision and taking away any stress you may encounter. The items were all so unique and high quality in taste and ingredients! We had 600 guests throughout our entire wedding weekend and every single one had the highest compliments for each item that was chosen. The menu selection process was incredibly smooth as Anu sits with you during the tasting, taking notes, and making changes and suggestions in real time. An example of this was our original menus having a lot of hot and fried foods, not leaving much variety. Anu assisted us in finding alternatives that were in the same family but gave your taste buds a different culinary experience. The entire staff was incredibly professional, courteous, kind, and accommodating. We had a few guests who had strict religious dining requirements and they had prepared their plates and brought it to them so they can enjoy the food without sacrifice. The quality of the food and aesthetics on which they were presented were absolutely breathtaking. They truly treat their couples and their families as their own. A huge huge thank you to Sonali, Kasia, and Anu for making our wedding one we truly will never forget and wish we could relive over and over. End your search for a caterer now because Mantra is the only correct choice! -

We recently had the pleasure of working with Mantra Catering for our daughter’s wedding, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our decision. Our goal was to create a memorable experience for our guests, and Mantra exceeded our expectations in every way.
After narrowing down our choice from three different caterers, it became clear from the very first tasting that Mantra was the perfect fit. While their food is undeniably the best we’ve ever tasted, what truly set them apart was their full-service approach. Mantra handled everything seamlessly—from logistics and dinnerware to providing a professional and attentive serving staff.
Working with them was effortless. They took the time to understand our vision, carefully noting our goals, requirements, and expectations. The menu was thoughtfully curated to strike a perfect balance between flavors and was personalized to suit our specific tastes. Their attention to detail was evident, not only in the delicious food but also in the beautiful presentation of the buffet and the impeccable service.
A special mention goes to Kasia Firs, the incredibly responsive catering manager, who was our main point of contact from day one. Kasia provided expert guidance, offering proactive suggestions that aligned perfectly with our needs. She meticulously noted feedback from our three tasting sessions and ensured every detail was executed flawlessly in the final menu.
Another standout was Anu Verma, the owner of Mantra. Anu was hands-on from start to finish, demonstrating her passion, dedication and keen eye for detail. She participated in venue walkthroughs and was right there on the wedding day, not only overseeing the serving staff and operations but also actively working alongside them, ensuring everything went smoothly.
When the big day arrived, Mantra delivered beyond our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, and many dishes were presented in creative, unique ways that left a lasting impression on our guests. The serving staff was professional, courteous, and attentive throughout the evening.
Even now, a month after the wedding, we’re still receiving compliments from our guests about the incredible culinary experience they had at the wedding. Mantra truly brought our daughter's dream wedding to life, and we are beyond grateful.

Our families are super picky when it came to a choice of vendor for our wedding catering since exceptional food was a nonnegotiable! Anu and her team went ABOVE our expectations to make our day incredibly special. The food was a huge talking point of our event and we have friends and family to this day who still message us asking who our vendor was for catering! Anu and her team made the entire day so special, seamless, and treated us truly like family. The tasting itself was an unforgettable experience and every concern was addressed promptly. We will never order catering from another company again! If you are looking for an incredibly memorable meal for your guests then I would highly recommend this team!! -

The Mantra team was incredible--our guests were raving about the food! They were so many unique dishes, and they also make classic Indian food wonderfully. They were also super flexible and went above and beyond in accommodating our guests' allergies and dietary restrictions. There is no sugar coating that 2020 and even 2021 has been such a challenging time that has put plans on hold, paused celebrations, put priorities in check and was filled with many disappointments. BUT we were finally able to have our dream wedding, a 2 day filled fusion celebration and it would absolutely NOT have been the same without Mantra/Indian Garden.
We had a wonderful experience working with Anu and Kasia of Mantra/Indian Garden! They were creative, kind and delivered on the fusion menu we were looking for. They provided our indo-mexican lunch and appetizers/indian station for our evening reception for our 250 guests! Our guests are still talking about the banana pepper tacos, samosa cart and the lamb chops!

Mantra catering did a great job of servicing our event. Firstly, the quality of the food at the event was great both from our experience and our guest's feedback. The live stations and passing of items for appetizers and the mango nada were well received. Secondly, Anu and team were very responsive in terms of communication for any questions or discussions leading up to the event. Exceptional Service
Having our wedding during COVID was the most stressful experience. We had our dates changed twice but Arun, Anu and their team at Indian Garden were so accommodating and provided us exceptional support and the food was truly amazing! Everyone raved about the food served at each event and they ensure no items were repeated and provided us the variety we requested! Having good food is essential for an Indian wedding and they definitely set high standards for our family and friends for future events! Mantra is without a doubt the highest quality South Asian wedding caterer in the Chicago area! The food is incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. Kasia and Anu execute to perfection, ensuring that every detail is taken into account. Highlights on our wedding menu were the baby lamb chops, Amritsari fish, corn chili samosas, mangalorean paneer and biryani. The mango creme brulee dessert is one of the best desserts I've ever had!
